What is WordPress.com?

WordPress.com is a blogging platform that offers free accounts with optional premium upgrades.

So, why was I charged?

Chances are you or one of your co-workers signed up for one of our premium upgrades. Recurring upgrades such as custom domains, space upgrades, and VideoPress are billed annually.

Doesn’t sound familiar?

If a quick peek at WordPress.com doesn’t clear things up, you may want to ask around the office. Oftentimes someone else has purchased an upgrade.

I want a refund

We want you to love everything you do at WordPress.com, so we provide a 30-day refund on all upgrades except domain registrations and renewals and guided transfers. You can request a refund yourself via the My Upgrades section in your WordPress.com Dashboard.

I want to cancel

You can cancel anytime by going into My Upgrades in the Store section of your WordPress.com Dashboard and clicking “Disable Auto Renew”. Upgrade link

I need an invoice

Every time we bill you, we send a receipt to the email address associated with the upgrade. You can send yourself a receipt through the WordPress.com Dashboard in Store > Billing History. If it isn’t there, please drop us a note as we will be happy to assist.
