Members Only
WordPress has a feature where you can set a blog to only be available to certain logged in users, and not anyone else in the world.
This feature is great for business blogs, private journals for a few friends, or family blogs. (If you don’t think your newborn wants to be an internet superstar just yet.)
To activate this feature, go to Options, and then click on the Privacy submenu.
You’ll see three options, select the last one, “text from that”, and click Update Options.

Now when the page reloads, you’ll see a form where you can add allowed users.

The one catch is that people must have an account on WordPress.com to be able to access your site. Put their usernames in the box and click the plus. If you want to remove someone, just click the X next to their name and they won’t be able to access the blog anymore.
By default the number of users you can have on a members-only blog is 5, but we’re plannig a paid upgrade so increase that number.
