Representatives for the Hip-Hop
Hall of Fame have announced they
have secured $10 million dollars in
funding for the new, Manhattan-
based project. The Hip-Hop Hall of
Fame will feature artifacts from
Hip-Hop’s rich history, exhibits,
workshops and community outreach
programs with the pioneers of rap,
many of whom are on the museum’s
advisory board.

O  número de aplicativos feitos para o iPhone já chegou aos 10 mil, segundo o site 148Apps.

O site monitora os aplicativos que circulam na App Store, loja de aplicativos para o iPhone. Segundo a sua conta, em 142 dias a loja alcançou a marca de 10 mil aplicativos lançados.

O MacRumors aposta, contudo, que a marca será alcançada nos próximos dias. Atualmente, a categoria Games ainda lidera o páreo, com 24% dos downloads, seguida por Entretenimento (11,6%) e Utilidades (10,9%).

A App Store estreou em 11 de junho, com apenas 500 aplicativos. O sucesso do modelo despertou iniciativas similares dos concorrentes, como o Android Market do Google e a já anunciada loja de aplicativos para o BlackBerry.

Please keep in mind that number 10 thru 2 are fictional and that if I truly did have 10 mil I would only do number one just in case someone is reading that actually has 10 mil they want to get rid of.

Number 10 – Nothing (buy everything I ever wanted)
A lot like office space, if I had 10 mil I would do what I have always wanted to do.  It just sounds fun doing nothing (and buying stuff).

Number 9 – Buy an exotic sport car (like a McLaren) 
Well, first beat the crap out of it, get Taco Bell drive thru,  and then give it to a stranger and tell them to pay it forward, all while filming it with a low quality camera so I can post it on youtubelater.  There are few people in the world that actually ever get to drive fine high end sports cars let alone beat the living daylights out of them while video taping them with low quality camera on youtube.  Sure there are video’s of Corvettes and Ferrari’s but I am talking real high end, only 200 ever made real performance cars.  Just picture flying out to San Fran and going downtown and picking out a nice Lambo or maybe a McLaren and telling the salesman “ya I am just buying this so I can post a video on youtube!”.

Number 8 – Pretend to be in the movie “Brewster’s Millions”
If you have not seen the movie, I will attempt to explain.  Basically Brewster (played by Richard Pryor) is given 3 millions dollars that he must spend within 30 days and he will inherit 30 million.  The catch is he cannot own anything at the end of 30 days.  I just want to see if it could be done and I figure if I had 10 mil I would be able to prove I could do it.

Number 7 – Buy a tropical island
Do you know what you could do with your own island (besides anything you want)?  You are the President, Czar, Ruler, King, Prince, and Dictator all in one!  You could pretend you are on the show Lost and get a polar bear, or just chill on the beach.

Number 6 – Throw the mother of all Columbus Day Party
This Holiday just gets no credit.  So if I had 10 mil to put towards a party, you bet people would show up to get down!!  I could build replica ships, and even have pilgrims!!

Number 5 – Figure out what happened to me in the 5th grade

Number 4 – Enter a World Series of Poker Tournament
I love playing Texas hold em but I am to cheap to gamble so I figure if I had 10 mil and it cost 10 thousand to enter I have a pretty good shot of getting my money back at least. 

Number 3 – Hire a team of body guard and have them pretend to be secret service
I remember a few times in clubs hearing men tell women that they are in the SS and then show some goofy badge from the dollar store.  I think it would be better to be the person being protected than the one taking the beatings.  Imagine going to the grocery store and having seven or eight people surrounding you and making sure all your produce was safe.  Maybe even get an armored car to take all your food home.  You could really have some fun at restaurants and make them taste your food first.

Number 2 – Buy Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch and rename it “OZ 2″
Tear up the whole place and build the the land of OZ on the ranch complete with munchkins.  Wouldn’t that just burn him!!  Just to make him angry I would hire his sister Janet to be the good witch.

Number 1 – Start a global charity that actually finds worthy causes throughout the world to give money to.

Random Brady fact….If I really had 10 mil I would just waste it anyhow!!
