The Huffington Post is reporting that an 11-year-old boy in Spain was very nervous about his parents and teaching. So nervous that he faked his own kidnapping so his parents would skip the meeting.

It happened earlier the week, when he sent a text messages from his phone to his father that said he had been kidnapped.

When the father, a police officer, called back the boy claimed to be stuffed in someone’s trunk.

A nationwide alert was sent out, but upon further investigation the father discovered the boy was hiding out in a family friends house.

That’s when the boy came clean on why he faked the kidnapping.

Kelly Clarkson has been all over the news not only for her stellar performance of “My Country, ‘Tis of Thee” during the inauguration, but also for a candid moment with former president Bill Clinton.

Clinton was caught photobombing her appearance–craning his neck to get a better look at her during the ceremony.

The Internet has had a lot of fun with the shot, but what does Kelly herself think about the moment of admiration?

“I loved it,” Kelly said, laughing, during an interview with Paul Koffy of BUZ’N@102.9 in Minneapolis.

She went on to explain how, later that day, she was already planning her revenge of sorts.

“We saw him [Clinton] at the Washington White House reception thing afterwards,” she explained. “And Brandon and I were dying to get a picture of me standing two people behind him, checking him out from close up. We were going to put them both side by side and tweet them.”

But, she said, “We couldn’t get near him, because there were so many politicians surrounding him, obviously he’s Bill Clinton. But yeah, we were dying to do that.”

Actor Christina Bale, who portrayed batman in the Dark Knight Trilogy, recently called 8-year-old Zach Guillot, who suffers from leukemia. Guillot is a huge batman fan, and Bale is his favorite actor.

Bale talked to the 8-year-old for nearly 10 minutes. The highlight of the video is when Bale told Guillot that, “…Anyone can be Batman, anyone can be as strong as him and help people and put good out into the world.”

PLANO (CBSDFW.COM) – A Plano man was arrested on Thursday for running an unlicensed dental practice in several makeshift offices inside his home.

Police told KRLD 1080 that the man, 63-year-old Jose Santiago Delao, advertised through word of mouth and targeted those who did not have dental insurance. Investigators were initially tipped off to Delao’s illegal business by a patient who felt he had improper work done on his teeth.

The Big D Climb is tomorrow.

If you feel like continuously walking up a flight of stairs for hours on end.

That actually sounds just like some nightmares we’ve had.

But people are actually going to meet up at Fountain Place tomorrow and do JUST THAT.

Climb 52 flights of stairs.

That’s exactly 1,040 steps.

WHY?

Oh, well.

It’s a fundraiser for Leukemia & Lymphoma research.

Dallas Stars lost to the Chicago Blackhawks last night 3-2 in overtime.

They’re back at the American Airlines Center tomorrow night to take on the Blues.

Serena Curtis of Oxfordshire, England was having a ladies’ night with some friends at her house. After a couple of bottles of wine, she decided to sit in her son’s high chair… and got stuck.

Of course, her friend pulled out the camera phone and started documenting the hilarity as fire rescue personnel worked to to free her.

TMZ is reporting that the voice actor who portrayed Charlie Brown in multiple Peanuts specials has been arrested for stalking in San Diego.

56-year-old Peter Robbins voiced everyone’s favorite peanut in A Charlie Brown Christmas and It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown was arrested as San Ysidro Port of Entry when a background check flagged him because of an active warrant.

He was charged for making a threat to cause death or bodily injury and stalking. It is unknown on who he is accused of stalking.

If you had to ask most guys how they want to die, more than a few would probably say smothered by breasts.

KIRO TV in Seattle is reporting that is exactly what happened to one Washington man.

According to the report, 50-year-old Donna Lange got into an argument with her 51-year-old boyfriend, and smothered him to death using her boobs.

Witnesses claim that the two got into an argument at their mobile home. The argument got so heated that Lange allegedly threw down her boyfriend, hoped on top, and pressed his face against her chest suffocating him.

Lange was discovered by police on the victim, with her chest on his face.

She has been arrested and charged with second-degree manslaughter.

Some people call it the “throne,” others refer to it as their “thinking place,” some ladies call it the “powder room.” Whatever you call it, what once was private is now privy to social media.

Nielsen recently posted their annual “State of the Media: Social Media Report.” The study reports that a third of Americans aged 18-24 admit to posting social media statuses from the bathroom. More than the potty posters, 50% say they tweet from the office.

Toilet texting and surfing the web on mobiles phones is nothing new, Nielsen’s report shows that mobile social media is on the rise. According to the report, Americans spent 27 billion minutes on Facebook’s mobile app and 3.6 billion minutes using Twitter’s mobile app.

To say it’s been a whirlwind year for fun. is an understatement — their debut album Some Nights is a smash hit, and now they’re up for six GRAMMY nominations. But the boys are ready to see how things play out next month, although they expressed some concerns to 96.5 TIC/Hartford.

“Can they retract a nomination?” frontman Nate Ruess asked.

“If you do something horrible enough, I would imagine they can retract it,” joked Jack Antonoff.

“Like admit to using steroids?” Nate quipped.

“Metaphorical, musical steroids. This is not actually music,” Jack snapped back.

This will be the band’s first trip to the GRAMMYs, and before the nominations came out, they were planning to go just to live the experience.

“I was thinking that because we joined the Academy this year, we’d go either way,” Jack said. “It feels really good, to have wanted to go to witness it, and actually now have a reason to go.”

The band will have some stiff competition this year, but they’re not approaching the GRAMMYs with any rivalry in mind.

“We’re not really looking at it like a competition,” Nate explained. “We’re really happy to be nominated, especially in the company of Jack White and Frank Ocean. Everybody in every category is so amazing we’re just not competitive, we’re just happy to be in that company.”

More rumblings from the Purple One from the frozen tundra of Minneapolis. After Prince‘s mysterious six shows last week at the Dakota Jazz Club, he has launched a new website featuring a brand new song and lyric video for “Screwdriver.”  The website also has what appears to be a trailer for an upcoming DVD of his 2009 performance at the Montreux Jazz Festival, as as well as a song from a female artist named Andy Allo.

The new website, which appears to be official, follows the launch of a official-seeming Twitter handle that has been posting remixes and even a new Prince song.

Prince is also slated to be on the January 26 cover of Billboard magazine and to receive the Billboard Icon Award on May 19; so it looks like 2013 is shaping up to be the year of The Artist Formerly Known As.

Despite rampant rumors to the contrary, The Rolling Stones will apparently not play at Coachella music festival in Indio, California this April.

Mick Jagger reportedly told the U.K.’s NME, “We’re not gonna do Coachella, ‘cos it’s too early. There was a rumour we were gonna do that one, but it’s very early, Coachella. It’s April or something, isn’t it? And we’re not gonna be ready to go by April. But we’re not gonna stop.”

Jagger didn’t say rule out the idea that the Stones might play one of the many other festivals that take place over the spring and summer. If Coachella’s April date (it takes place April 12-14 and the same lineup returns the following weekend April 19-21) is, in fact, “too early” for the Stones, they may have their sights set on another “destination event.” For reference: Bonnaroo takes place in Manchester, Tennessee, June 13-16; Lollapalooza is in Chicago’s Grant Park, August 2-4; Austin City Limits descends on Zilker Park in Austin, Texas over two weekends in October (4-6 and 11-13); Voodoo Festival hits New Orleans November 1-3.

The Coachella Festival appeared to hint at a Stones booking earlier this month when they posted a photo of a round rock (a “rolling stone”) on their website. Also, Indio, California briefly showed up on the tour dates section of the Rolling Stones iPhone app.

One Norway man came up with a plan to use Facebook to get his high school crush into bed.

Gawker is reporting that Peter Kverneng managed to get her to agree to sleep with him if a photo of the two got over a million likes on Facebook. You can see that photo HERE.

Well the photo went viral, and currently has about 1.4 million likes..

“It was meant as a joke for our group of friends,” Kverneng said.

Kverneng said that his crush, Catherine, plans to keep her promise, but he is concerned that her father might find out.

Somebody took REM’s Losing My Religion, which is normally has a minor scale, and digitally reworked it with a major scale.

The minor scales tend to give songs more of a sad tone.

The result of the major scale shift is actually a happy version of the song.
