Bow Wow to Pay Adult Actress $80,000

Oh, Bow Wow. I remember screaming at your first tour Easter Sunday in Cleveland, now it’s come to this. So it looks like the former teen heartthrob has to dish out nearly $80,000 to adult actress, Celine Tran, who goes by Katsuni.

Bow Wow used footage of Tran in his ‘Drank In My Cup’ video (*cue Kirko Bangz*) which was originally in the music video of French band Electronic Conspiracy. Instead of acknowledging what he did, he decided to ignore the lawsuit that was filed July of last year. Really?!

I don’t have children, but I’m sure the last thing a parent wants to do is fork over almost 100 grand for something like this. Well….

This week’s feature artist is someone you probably haven’t heard of because he doesn’t get the exposure he deserves, especially for being boys with one of the games biggest stars (according to the Maroon5, I mean radio) Drake. Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, this MC first made a name for himself all the way back in 2000 at the age of 17, when he entered a regional Source Unsigned Hype Emcee Battle and placed 2nd out of over 300 MCs, despite having no formal recording experience. Since then, he was best known for winning BET’s 106 & Park Freestyle Fridays competition seven weeks in a row, resulting in being crowned the undisputed champ. Despite his close ties with Drake, he’s actually stayed true to his older days and still spits fire. Drake, on the other hand, sings about being in love and crying in the shower and shit like that. When it comes down to it, the reason I like him so much is his versatility. He has a million flows and can rap over any beat. I’ll try to emphasize that throughout the week, just pay attention to how many different sounds he can have while still maintaining his wittiness. First up, his track “Handsome”.

Bow Wow Ordered To Pay P0rn Star $80K

Bow Wow is going to need all of his BET’s 106 & Park salary. The YMCMB rappers has been ordered to pay $80K to a French freaky flick star. It’s not what you might think.

TMZ reports.

A-dult film star Celine Tran — known as “Katsuni” — sued Bow Wow back in July 2012, claiming he stole clips of her pole dancing in a music video for a French band called Electronic Conspiracy and then used a ton of the footage in his music video “Drank in My Cup” … sans permission. Bow Wow didn’t even respond to the lawsuit, so a federal judge ordered him to pony up $79,346.07 (damages + attorneys’ fees) … and stop with the footage STAT. Sad part is … for $80k … he never got to see her naked. Check out the videos. They’re fun.

Bow Wow dropped that “Drank In My Cup (Freestyle)” video, his version of Kirko Bangz‘s hit song, back in April 2012. Blame the video director? While “Mr 106 & Parks” debut album as a member of Young Money has yet to materialize, he recently dropped a mixtape titled Greenlight 5 with features from Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar, and more, along with production from DJ Mustard, Jahlil Beats and Drumma Boy.

Tran sued Bow Wow (real name Shad Moss) last year for using footage of her from the video “Conspiracy Strip Club“ by Parisian electro-rock duo Electronic Conspiracy in his visuals for the song “Drank in My Cup” without her permission.

The federal judge in the case ordered Bow Wow to pay nearly $80,000 in damages and attorney’s fees since Moss refused to reply to the lawsuit.

Bow Wow was also told to stop using Tran’s likeness immediately.

This was just one lawsuit Bow Wow was served for in 2012. He was also taken to court last fall by the mother of his child for child support.

The court cases haven’t stopped the 106 and Park host from his original occupation- making music. He recently released his latest mixtape Greenlight 5. He’s planning to drop his 7th studio album, Underrated, sometime in 2013.

Congratulations to Tamar Braxton and Vince Herbert! The couple announced on both 106 & Park and Good Morning America that they are expecting their first child!

“I have a love on top. I’m pregnant!” the “Braxton Family Values” star told “Good Morning America’s” Lara Spencer Wednesday.

“I don’t have that many months to go,” Braxton said. “Almost there.”

When asked how she felt, Braxton told Spencer that she felt well.

“I feel great and greedy at the same time.

Grandmother-to-be Evelyn Braxton joked about she and Tamar eat together. Tamar said she is totally not eating healthy.

The new season of “Braxton Family Values,” airs on Thursday night on WE tv.

This morning the “Love & War” singer revealed that she/me/her and husband Vince will be expecting their first child together. This will be the first child that the couple are having together. If you watched any season of “Braxton Family Values” or spin-off “Tamar & Vince” they have been talking about trying to have children for a while now.

Though the singer is soon to be releasing a anticipated album what will this mean for her career. Will she put it on hold? Would she still perform?
