Yes. I’m getting an HD TV.

I’ve been doing my research and I am comfortable with what I am looking to get.  Very good reviews and specs and the price is just right.  So…  As this is posting to the blog, I’m on the road to go to the store and pick up my new TV.  I will use my Sony Trinitron 27” to replace the TV that has gone bad for my 81 year old mom.

She said she doesn’t need all the bells and whistles and understand my tv perfectly so it’s all working out.

I was debating about getting a Sony, however, I am seeing very good reviews on an LG model I am looking at.  Best Buy has it for $150 off and it seems to do everything I will be looking into a first HD set.

I may not leave the bedroom now (LOL!)

The important thing is this is not busting my budget and getting me into trouble.  It’s all cash so that’s a good thing.  It’s very easy to get in trouble with credit cards.  They are a tool that can be a great asset and it can bite you big time if you do not use them wisely.  I’ve learned the hard way on that one.

What’s better than the Muppets Singing the Queen Classic? not a lot, plus it’s 1080p.

Perhaps as a showcase for the new 1080p uploads on YouTube or just a happy coincidence, the Muppets have done a surprisingly hilarious cover of “Bohemian Rhapsody” and unleashed its stunning quality on the world. Miałem w swoich rękach urządzenie jak w tytule, testowałem przez weekend. Muszę przyznać, że podszedłem do niego z dużymi nadziejami gdyż od dłuższego czasu chodzi mi po głowie zakup MediaPlayera bez dysku twardego.

Takie urządzenie zwykle kupujemy do odtwarzania materiału HD  (720p) i FullHD (1080p). Zwykle materiał ten przychodzi w kontenerze Matroska (mkv). Taki też materiał użyłem do testów.
