Volvo Amazon  1957-1970

In 1956, a prototype of a new passenger car from Volvo was presented. The car became known as the Amazon in Sweden and the 121 and 122S on the export market. The designation 122S was used for a version with a more powerful engine.

Production began in 1957 and this car was initially regarded as a larger model than the PV444. The fact that the 121/122 S was a 4-door model naturally contributed to this.

The styling was modern and this model was the first car from Volvo with a pontoon body. People found the car very attractive. The front was characterised by the two oval air intakes. The rear wings were extended and ended with a hint of a fin, a very popular design feature at the time.

The Amazon 121/122 S also had a very high safety level with features including a padded upper half of the dashboard, a laminated windscreen and seatbelt attachments both front and rear.

In the autumn of 1961, the P120 models included a number of relatively large changes. The previous 1.6-litre engine was replaced by the B18 with an output of 75 or 90 bhp, a 12-volt electrical system and a new grille, while the 90 bhp model featured disc brakes on the front wheels.

The 4-door model of the P120 was produced until the autumn of 1966, when it was replaced by an entirely new car, the Volvo 144.

Technically speaking, there was no difference between the two models. The doors were naturally longer on the new 2-door model to make it easier to get into the rear seat, and the front seats could, of course, be folded forward for the same reason. The rear side windows could be opened at the rear edge to improve ventilation.

The engine programme was originally supposed to follow that of the 4-door model. However, as the 2-door was somewhat lighter, it was also regarded as somewhat more sporty and was therefore used in competitions, both rally driving and motor racing

To enhance the sporty image of the Amazon, the fast and lavishly equipped 123GT version was introduced in 1966, with the same engine as the 1800S sports car.

In 1968, another engine version was added to this model – the so-called B20 engine, a 2.0-litre version.

Production of the P130 continued until July 2nd 1970. This was the final version of this car family, with a total of 667,323 P130s produced over the years.

This model can be described as an estate based on the 121/122S (Amazon). It made its debut at the Stockholm Motor Show in February 1962. This extension of the model range gave Volvo a more extensive programme in one and the same car family than ever before.

The P220 had four doors and the tailgate was divided into two parts, one part folded down and the other folded up. This design was inspired by station wagons from the USA.

The production of the P220 took place alongside that of the P210 and the P220 became more frequent outside the Nordic markets. This car represented yet another important step towards a more family-oriented estate which was less of an into the commercial vehicle market. In this way, the P220 played an important role for Volvo in its development as leading producer of estate cars.

Thanksgiving is right around the corner and besides a lot of food Thanksgiving has another tradition, Turkey Bowl! 121 had its first own event earlier this year when they the 121 Fantasy Football League was created and members from 5 different churches joined(Shout out to Mike who is currently in first place in the league, more on the results of the Fantasy football season would be posted after the season is over). Now we will be attempting to set up another event and keep the ball rolling as we try to unite different churches in Miami for fellowship. So on Thanksgiving morning, November 24th, 121 will have its 1st Annual Turkey bowl. It will be 4 on 4 flag football with regular Let It Fly rules. The location is yet unknown but will be announced soon. There will be a max of 8 teams and tournament format will be decided based on the amount of teams.

Come garantire i prezzi ai produttori dei prodotti agroalimentari? Seguendo l’esempio della Regione Lazio: i prodotti tipici e i prodotti biologici della regione sono in vendita diretta nei 160 mq del negozio di via Provolo, 34 a Roma; è questo “Lazio a Tavola”, il primo dei quindici negozi a filiera corta aperto nella capitale con i fondi del programma di sviluppo rurale della regione. 29 aziende si sono unite per dar vita a questa iniziativa. Per approfondire, leggi l’articolo. Creare un progetto di filiera come questo non significa solo strutture commerciali comuni, ma una serie di finanziamenti che piovono sulle singole aziende aderenti per fare investimenti in infrastrutture, macchinari e impianti, sviluppo di prodotti, ricerche di mercato, marketing e internazionalizzazione, consulenza, ammodernamento di aziende agricole e laboratori di trasformazione, investimenti in energie alternative e altro ancora.

In passato sono stati creati i Marchi Collettivi, i marchi di qualità ed altre strutture di valorizzazione. Il programma di sviluppo rurale 2007/2013 non si limita ai Consorzi ma spinge le aziende a stipulare accordi di programma per creare delle vere e proprie strutture commerciali, sia per dialogare e contrattare direttamente con i buyer e gli importatori, sia per vendere i propri prodotti all’interno di strutture collettive, dal produttore al consumatore.

Ma l’idea del “KM 0” non è solo prerogativa delle aziende, ma anche di tutte quelle istituzioni, associazioni ed enti che vogliano proporre progetti a risvolto sociale, ambientale e di valorizzazione del territorio rurale coinvolgendo tutti gli attori delle filiere: progetti per un’agricoltura di qualità a servizio del cittadino attraverso gli orti urbani, i farmer’s market e la raccolta e l’acquisto di frutta, verdura  e altri prodotti self service. Valorizzare le produzioni di qualità, sviluppare la ricerca e l’innovazione di processo e di prodotto, diminuire i costi di produzione attraverso la filiera corta, creare nuove politiche di marketing territoriale attraverso lo sviluppo di sinergie tra agricoltore e cittadino, sostenere il ricorso a forme di energia rinnovabile.

Le misure attuabili con il PIF (progetti integrati di filiera) sono le 111, 114, 115, 121, 123, 124, 125, 132, 133. Gli interventi, le azioni e i servizi che si possono realizzare con il PIF sono il coinvolgimento del cittadino nella vita di campagna attraverso gli orti collettivi urbani, la raccolta diretta degli ortaggi e della frutta (pick your own) e l’affitto di appezzamenti di terreni non utilizzati dagli agricoltori, miglioramento dell’esistente e ammodernamento delle aziende agricole, formazione professionale degli addetti, attivazione di circuiti di vendita diretta, apertura di punti vendita nelle sedi delle aree protette, creazione di reti di agriturismi bioecologici.

In pratica una singola azienda, ente o associazione può essere promotore di un progetto di filiera da presentare alla Regione, facendo di seguito una formale richiesta di adesione ad altri soggetti interessati.

Ahh Asher Roth. The man who is understandably sick of being compared to Eminem (I hate to say it but he does sound a LOT like him at times) but is the current ‘big thing’.

His first EP was awesome (The Greenhouse Effect Vol 1) and The Lounge is easily the best song on there. For someone to be producing such songs as this – which are so true to hip hop you could easily mistake it as being from the 80’s – in the current days of massauto-tuning and FruityLoop-bumming, is not only admirable but a bloody relief. When I first heard it, it was so refreshing that I had to listen to it a further twelve times before I even got a slightly bit tired of it.
And the key, once again is simplicity. This song consists of three things. A piano sample, a basic beat and Asher Roth. Yet four minutes go by and you’re not bored in the least. In fact if anything you want more.

So admittedly I was a little disappointed to find that his debut album (Asleep In The Bread Aisle) had lost a lot of this charm and ruggedness, and had turned towards the mainstream; ready to be shipped out to Radio 1 at any point. It was obviously a business record. But to get recognised, it is probably a necessity nowadays.
So I’m predicting next time round – more songs like The Lounge. We’re counting on you Mr Roth. Otherwise I’ll have to start listening to TI again. And no one will like that.

Terminata la pausa estiva, ripartono le zone a traffico limitato “by night”. I primi varchi a riaccendersi saranno quelli di San Lorenzo: da mercoledì 2 settembre il quartiere è di nuovo chiuso alle auto da mercoledì a sabato, con il consueto orario: dalle 21 alle 3 del mattino.

Venerdì 4 settembre toccherà poi a tutte le altre: centro storico, Monti, Trastevere e Testaccio. Si tratta in questo caso delle ztl notturne del fine settimana, chiuse il venerdì e il sabato dalle 23 alle 3. Sempre da venerdì 4 marciano di nuovo a pieno regime i mezzi pubblici che portano nelle zone off limits di notte, ovvero le linee 115, 116, 117, 119 e 125. Per Testaccio, il 121 e il 122 vengono ripristinati le sole sere del venerdì e del sabato.

Atac ricorda inoltre il potenziamento nel weekend dei normali mezzi pubblici, per favorire gli spostamenti legati alla movida. Per raggiungere le ztl ci sono, oltre ai bus notturni: il tram 8 (Casaletto – largo Argentina), che nelle notti tra venerdì e sabato e tra sabato e domenica viaggia fino alle 3; e le metro A e B, con gli ultimi convogli in partenza all’1,30 – invece che alle 23,30 – nel fine settimana.

Bisogna attendere ancora qualche settimana, sono in uscita i bandi della nuova Programmazione dello Sviluppo Rurale della Regione Puglia. Intanto cominciamo a fare un riassunto di quella che è l’impostazione del PSR, delle Misure e degli obiettivi. Il PSR (Piano di Sviluppo Rurale) 2007 – 2013 si articola in 4 Assi o categorie di misure di finanziamenti: l’Asse I contiene le Misure per il miglioramento della competitività del settore agricolo, forestale ed agro-industriale, con progetti che vanno dal miglioramento fondiario, all’innovazione di processo, acquisto impianti, integrazione di filiera, commercializzazione ecc. L’Asse II propone le Misure inerenti il miglioramento dell’ambiente e dello spazio rurale, con particolare focus su progetti di salvaguardia ambientale, delle risorse idriche e forestali, energie alternative, salvaguardia delle attività agricole ed investimenti non produttivi. I primi due assi sono quelli sui quali dovrebbero concentrarsi le aziende. Gli Assi III e IV invece riguardano il miglioramento della qualità della vita e la salvaguardia delle zone rurali e sono di quasi completa pertinenza dei GAL territoriali. Vediamole una ad una nello specifico.

Nello specifico all’asse I (Miglioramento della competitività del settore agricole e forestale) sono dedicate circa il 40% delle risorse del PSR. Tale obiettivo sarà finalizzato in particolare alla promozione della modernizzazione (36% delle risorse dell’asse), all’accrescimento del valore aggiunto dei prodotti agricoli e forestali (30,9% delle risorse dell’asse), all’innovazione delle imprese agricole e all’integrazione di filiera. Altri obiettivi dell’asse I sono rappresentati dal consolidamento e dallo sviluppo della qualità dei prodotti agricoli e forestali, attraverso il sostegno alla partecipazione degli agricoltori ai sistemi di qualità, nonché dal rafforzamento, in sinergia con il FESR, della dotazione infrastrutturale della Regione con particolare attenzione alla logistica del trasporto su rotaia ed al potenziamento dei processi di commercializzazione. Attraverso le misure contenute nell’asse I, la Regione Puglia intende anche migliorare le capacità imprenditoriali e professionali degli addetti nel settore agricolo e forestale, nonché sostenere il ricambio generazionale.

All’asse II spettano il 35% delle risorse. Il macro-obiettivo del “miglioramento dell’ambiente e dello spazio rurale” sarà raggiunto concentrando gli interventi nella conservazione della biodiversità e nella protezione dei sistemi forestali ad alto valore naturale, nonché nella salvaguardia qualitativa e quantitativa delle risorse idriche superficiali e profonde. Altri obiettivi di asse riguardano la riduzione dei gas serra, la salvaguardia del paesaggio rurale, la difesa del territorio contro i dissesti idrogeologici e la promozione del mantenimento delle attività agricole nelle zone svantaggiate. La priorità delle risorse dell’asse II è stata data all’ “agroambiente” (56,7%), seguito dagli “investimenti non produttivi” (17,2%).

Infine l’asse III del PSR, dedicato al “miglioramento della qualità della vita nelle zone rurali” e alla “diversificazione dell’economia rurale”, sarà implementato essenzialmente attraverso l’approccio LEADER (asse IV) il quale favorisce la definizione di strategie di sviluppo promosse da partenariati locali pubblico-privati, chiamati GAL. I GAL saranno gli unici soggetti incaricati di gestire le misure dell’asse III nelle zone LEADER. Nelle altre zone, il restante delle risorse dell’asse III (pari al 3%) sarà gestito direttamente dalla Regione. Complessivamente (compreso l’approccio Leader) le risorse dedicate agli obiettivi dell’asse III ammontano al 22 % del totale e saranno indirizzate al miglioramento dell’attrattività dei territori rurali (sia per le imprese che per la popolazione che vi risiede), al sostegno delle attività turistiche, nonché dei servizi per la popolazione e per le attività economiche. Altri obiettivi sono rappresentati dal mantenimento e dalla creazione di nuove opportunità di impiego nelle zone rurali, dalla diversificazione delle attività agricole verso attività didattiche e sociali, nonché dalla produzione di energia proveniente da fonti rinnovabili.

The LightYear Launcher have been hitting sporadically with two different assortments. One to Wal Mart and one to Toys R US so far. Wal Mart seems to be getting the Lil Torquey Pistons,Clutch Aid, 2 Lightning McQueens and a Chick Hicks. Where Toys R Us is getting Rev ‘N’ Go, Lil Torquey Pistons, Bumper Save, Lightning McQueen, and Chick Hicks. Since Lightning McQueen and Chick Hicks have GROSSLY been over done in almost every packaging variation, I decided to grab the 4 that haven’t been grossly over done (yet).

Naruto Shippuuden 121: Assemble

Itachi

En este episodio empezamos a ver como el Anime se sigue moviendo siguiendo el Manga. El líder de Akatsuki comunica  los otros integrantes que Orochimaru esta muerto y fue por las manos de Uchiha Sasuke. Deidara lo toma muy mal y esta decido a ir por Sasuke, para descobrárselas por matar a Orochimaru, ya que Deidara planeaba en matar a Orochimaru el mismo.

Suigetsu

No pude contenerme, tenía que poner una captura de Suigetsu, ya que creo que es uno de los personajes que le pone más humor a estos últimos episodios. Siempre está tomando agua y pidiendo descansos xD

En Konoha están reunidos planeando lo que harán ahora. El plan seria encontrar a Itachi ya que Sasuske ira por el, así al tener a Itachi tendrán seguro que ira Sasuke…

En mi opinión aún no entiendo esto…Naruto quiere traer de vuelta a Sasuke…pero no se porque no se pone a pensar…no es que lo pueda llevar y ya, en primera Sasuke fue quien se fue por su propia cuenta. Creo que hablan de Sasuke como si fuera un gato que se había escapado y lo quieren traer de regreso a casa cuando el no quiere…bueno…

Y hablando de gatos, aquí vemos, si no me equiboco los primeror gatos ninjas que han salidio en el anime. Solo habían salido los perros de Kakashi. Si no es asi ahí me dicen

Y por último, este es el equipo que se encargara de la búsqueda de Itachi. La cosa se pone buena a esperar hasta el siguiente capitulo
