This episode picks up from 132 where Jiraiya is fighting Pain… who is actually like 6 people …. who is actually one person named Nagato. Jiraiya only manages to kill one of his god-knows-how-many bodies before he’s killed. This was a really dramatic episode. Poor Tsunade doesn’t have anyone to tease anymore. I was really surprised the ‘prophesied’ one turned out to Naruto. I was always under the impression it was Pain with his rennegagagaannblah whatever it is. great episode. can’t wait to see the reactions of the other characters. (:

Ich sollte echt aufhören beim essen zu lesen. Mir verschlägt es dabei zum einen die Sprache und zum anderen verschluck Ich mich gelegentlich.

Gestern war mal wieder die Politik Schuld. Ich hatte den aktuellen Stern (Ausgabe Nr. 40) neben meiner Pommes lesen. Und was erblicken meine Augen? 133.000.000 Euro. Vereinfacht: 133 Millionen. Von der Zahl muss Ich mindestens fünf Nullen streichen um auf einen Betrag zu kommen, den mein Konto schonmal gesehn hat. Um einen Betrag zu haben, der da öfter drauf ist, muss Ich sogar noch eine Null streichen.

Jetzt ratet mal, wofür dieses Geld ist?

a) Ausbau von Schule

b) Konjunkturpaket III

c) das Jahreseinkommen von Britney Spears

Alles falsch! Soviel Geld bekommen die Partein pro Jahr. Je nachdem wie viele Stimmen sie bei der letzten Wahl erhalten haben.

Von den Einnahmen der Grünen und der Linke stammt nach dem Rechenschaftsbericht 2007 ganze 39% aus diesem Geld.

Kurz: Steuergelder für Wahlplakate.

Din moment ce e cul să vorbeşti despre liceul,bineînţeles că mă voi adapta şi eu. 

Luni. M-am trezit mai târziu decât trebuia. Apooooi,spălat,îmbrăcat şi târât până în staţia batmobilului evil unde trebuia să mă întâlnesc cu Matei şi Raluca.  Nu aveam bilet (am eu vreodată bilet?!). Vine batmobilu’. Ajungem la liceu. Suntem speriaţi. Ne strângem toţi filologii într-un colţ. Nu ne bagă nimeni în seamă. Ne enervăm. Facem afişul şi ne căutăm restul colegilor. Eram încă în faza de nerăbdare în ceea ce îl priveşte pe Neferus. Se termină festivitatea. Mergem în Cişmigiu şi ne întoarcem peste o oră la dirigenţie. Suntem păcăliţi. Deci nu,nu avem niciun coleg ce a rămas repetent la Coşbuc. Se termină dirigenţia. Plecăm acasă. Eram în stare de şoc până să adorm.  Şi totuşi,ziua a fost una memorabilă:9G l-a cunoscut pe Sebastian.

Marţi. Prima oră:arte.  Discutăm despre muzică în general şi ceea ce ascultăm noi. Urmează biologia. După oră,încep să mă întreb ce caut eu în Sava. E bine de ştiut faptul că,choanoflagelate au guler şi flagel. Matematică:nu avem prof;profităm şi ne cunoaştem mai bine. Fenomenul Neferus se dezlănţuie. Engleză:aceeaşi întrebare. Ce caut eu în Sava? Două ore de română. Trecem peste.

Miercuri. Primele două ore:T.I.C. Doi tipi de la 9I ne-au avertizat despre imaginea fooooarte simpatică de la primele  calculatoare. Păcat că nu am nimerit la ele. Realizăm că avem net. După 30 de minute de îndestulare cu meebou’,aflăm că dăm test la istorie. Vrem să credem că era doar o presupunere.  Nicio presupunere,ora viitoare,dăm test predictiv la istorie. Iarăşi:ce caut eu acolo? Franceză:marfă,vorbim în franceză. Cred că a fost singura oră unde nu m-am simţit cu adevărat depăşită. Engleză (?!). Intesiv,huuuh?! Apoi arte. Deci da,ca să nu mai fie niciun dubiu,el e profu’ nostru.  Începe socializarea,ne-am cunoscut între noi. Sunteţi geniali,băi. ^^  Fenomenul Neferus era deja cunoscut în întreg liceul.

Joi. Prima oră e,oh nu,fizică. Şi bineînţeles că trebuia să dăm test şi bineînţeles că am făcut o varză. Română:listă de cărţi,lecturi preferate,chestii de filologi.  Sport:uhm,mai bine nu. Am rămas şocată. Chimie. Viaţa-i dură. Abia acum,am realizat că NU ştiu chimie. Toţi ceilalţi par să înţeleagă. Mă prefac şi eu că înteleg.  Mate-nu prof. Ieşim mai devreme. O parte se duc cu Neferus în Valea Regilor (cum de am ratat asta),o parte mergem şi colindăm prin Cişmigiu. Miruna,hun,trebuie să am poza aia cu Matei de la ECOtoilet.

Vineri. Două ore de logică. Au fost,uhm,spuneţi-mi,vă rog,că nu sunt singura  care chiar NU înţelege nimic din ce zice Săndoiu. Tot ce am prins a fost ceva despre nişte fante,adevăr,luminiţe roşii şi albastre. Mulţumes,Miruna,pentru exemplul cu Andreea Marin.  Două ore geografie,ce chiiiiiiiiiiiiiin. Cel puţin,în urma testului (ratat,ofc) am aflat care-i capitala Madagascarului.  Engleză:mă doare capul. Ora de religie. Profu’ e chiar ochei,s-a dovedit a fi foarte răbdător din moment ce l-a ascultat pe Neferus vorbind despre mai ştiu eu ce teorie dubioasă.

Apoi am realizat că tocmai s-a terminat prima săptămână de şcoală şi nu am luat încă niciun cinci! (vezi tu săptămâna viitoare). Şi deşi nu înţeleg nimic din acele materii,îmi place în Sava. Îmi place a 2a bancă de pe rândul de la fereastră,îmi place când profa de engleză se întreabă cine este Neferus,îmi place când dirigu’ ne face purcei şi îmi place să mă înghesui cu Raluca în 133 în fiecare seară.  Şi îmi plac şi teoriile despre criogenizare ale ştim noi cui. Vă  ador,băi.

Dendroica striata  Paruline rayée (femelle et 2 mâles)  /  Blackpoll Warbler (female and 2 males)  

The Blackpoll Warbler is a species that is typical of the black spruce forest. It nests in conifer forests and in populations of stunted spruce trees growing in the mountains located east of the Québec meridian and to the north and the south-east of New Brunswick. An insect eater, the Blackpoll Warbler also feeds on seeds and fruits. Its length is 13 to 15 cm.

La paruline rayée est une espèce typique de la pessière noire. Elle niche dans les forêts de conifères et dans les peuplements d’épinettes rabougries qui poussent dans les montagnes situées à l’est du méridien de Québec ainsi qu’au nord et au sud-ouest du Nouveau-Brunswick. Insectivore, la paruline rayée se nourrit également de graines et de fruits. Elle mesure entre 13 et 15 cm de longueur.

Its length is 11 to 14 cm.

13/3 of the Charter to the U.S. Federal Reserve allows for extraordinary actions to be taken as emergency measures during times that are determined to require such intervention. Said clause was invoked last year.

Paradoxically, much of the testimony from multifarious regulatory agencies has been that they lacked a resolution regime which would have enabled them with the capability to systematically dismantle too big to fail entities. The excuse or reason seems ironic in the face of what the central bank has been able to do over the past 16 months starting with the sale of Bear Stearns.

One presumably has to conclude that the charters for all the other agencies have nothing equivalent to 13/3 thus leaving the central bank as the equivalent of a supranational and overarching power. Whilst the U.S. Constitution requires a separation of powers between and amongst the various branches of the public sector, the central bank itself did not exist during the 18th Century and thus according to those who follow original intent, the existence of an American or U.S. Federal Reserve has no basis within the Constitution. Furthermore, the constituency and Board of the U.S. Federal Reserve consists of the very same “member banks” for whom it is supposed to supervise.

Hence, given all of the aforementioned historical background, the proposal brought forth by the Administration to concentrate more powers to, within, and for the central bank has understandably elicited shouts of disapproval from several within Congress.  Nonetheless, the concept of a systemic risk regulator, whomever that may be, has huge momentum in light of the business model for the financial services supermarket exploding liability onto everyone else’s balance sheet.   

Competing proposals include a Council of Regulators which begs the question as to whether or not that has already been in existence given the plethora of regulators which we already have. Separately, the U.K. has had for some time the FSA or Financial Services Authority which was supposed to monitor, prevent, or catch risk; but to no avail, risk evaded detection.     

Consequently, a larger question is brought to light and the question arises exclusively from the libertarian community. Is it even feasible to supervise risk in the face of the private sector’s risk management very own model which fantastically failed?

In David Faber’s documentary, House of Cards, lifelong Ayn Rand disciple Alan Greenspan stated that efforts to restrain the irrational exuberance which he himself remarked on were misguided in every way because they can only result in 10% unemployment and no growth. Aside from the philosophy that such a response takes refuge in the insinuation that the public sector is never capable of either preventively or constructively accomplishing anything, the stance is defeatist and passive.

The logical follow-through can only be that there is neither a role nor a function of any kind for public sector oversight and supervision. To one extreme, those such as Dennis Kneale go so far as to demand that the role of the public sector is to cater to the private sector without limitation or hindrance, regardless of the consequences for such unbridled ambition.

As related to matters of antitrust, Kneale is quoted as saying, “Just let the kids play and let’s see what happens.” Didn’t we just experience the consequences of that approach?

Quelli che seguono sembrano segnali di un governo fuori controllo in preda all’euforia da consensi … ma, mi chiedo, se pezzi delle istituzioni, come i vigili del fuoco, i poliziotti e i dirigenti scolastici, notoriamente poco inclini alle proteste anti-governative, sono stati costretti a portare in piazza o sui giornali la protesta per i tagli a pezzi fondamentali dello stato … peraltro quasi tutti legati alla sicurezza … ci sarà pure qualcosa di vero.

Quante saranno allora le persone precarie, sottopagate e maltrattate che lavorano nel e per lo stato e che non meritano gli sberleffi di gente come Brunetta?

Hanno lasciato per settimane la casa e la famiglia per venire in Abruzzo ad aiutare i terremotati e rischiare la vita (un vigile del fuoco è morto nelle prime ore dei soccorsi e un altro è rimasto gravemente ferito). Si aspettavano un minimo di attenzione e invece per tutta risposta hanno avuto solo promesse che non sono state mantenute.

Gelmini attacca i presidi ribelli: “Chi non sa dirigere se ne vada”

Polemica dopo la lettera dei dirigenti scolastici alle famiglie. “Scuole senza soldi? Basta far politica, se non siete capaci cambiate lavoro”

Il ministro dell’Istruzione, Mariastella Gelmini, ha commentato così la vicenda dei presidi del Lazio che hanno denunciato, in una lettera inviata alle famiglie, la carenza di fondi degli istituti scolastici. Sono state oltre 41.739 le lettere spedite da circa 300 presidi del Lazio aderenti all’Asal (Associazione scuole autonome del Lazio) per dare le cifre della scuola al collasso a causa dei tagli inferti dal governo: non ci sono i soldi per i supplenti (fondi ridotti del 40 %) né per le visite fiscali obbligatorie; da settembre non saranno più garantiti i servizi previsti per legge, come la copertura dell’ora alternativa alla religione. Ma la sortita del ministro non è piaciuta all’opposizione: “Che sia la Gelmini a cambiare lavoro”.

Brunetta contro i poliziotti: Troppi panzoni”. Poi ci ripensa

Nuova esternazione del ministro della Pubblica amministrazione. “Impossibile mandare passacarte in strada”. “Ma non volevo offendere”.

[...] Parole che provocano la reazione dei rappresentanti delle forze dell’ordine, (già furiosi per la questione straordinari non pagati), l’attacco dell’opposizione e la retromarcia di Brunetta. [...]

PS: ho avuto l’occasione di ascoltare, dal vivo, una rappresentante del sindacato dei poliziotti mentre esponeva quello che già so della legge 133 sulle assenze per malattia dei dipendenti pubblici. La poliziotta ha fatto presente quanti soldi, di uno stipendio già ridotto, perdano i poliziotti che passando molto tempo al freddo e alla pioggia (per esempio durante i turni allo stadio) si ammalano di raffreddore o influenza cioè di una malattia che non essendo riconoscibile come “causa di servizio implica la riduzione dello stipendio. A questo è servita la legge di Brunetta, non a far lavorare i nullafacenti ma a punire chi lavora sul serio e, come tutti, ogni tanto si ammala.
