I guess we caught M-Nus fever over here at ‘Feeling Minimal’! After Barem interview, I decided to grace you with a wallpaper by none other than Richie Hawtin himself. I was listening to his ‘Ibiza Voice Podcast’ mix while working away, so the idea and concept was portrayed through his music onto my canvas. I wanted to create something simple, yet complex. Simple in a sense that I did not use any effects besides blur and blending in, meanwhile complexity came with the picture arrangment and background textures. I blended in a photo I took of ‘GM’ building which you see as soon as you cross the Windsor/Detroit tunnel. Didn’t want too much colors in this one, really happy with the way it turned out. The focal collage of photos symbolizes him looking into the future. Enjoy!

Hi, with monitors becoming cheaper  day by day, the wallpapers we used to look at become to small  for the biggest resolutions. Some years ago,  800×600 and 1024×768 was the  resolution by default with 15″ CTR monitors. Today,  things have changed. Nowadays the resolution by default seems to be 1680×1050 pixels and 20 to 22 inches LCD monitors.  I´m even using a 24″ monitor with 1920×1200 resolution, so it´s not that easy to find wallpapers for big size resolutions (HD).

I just gathered some  of my favorite URLs to go when looking for a wallpaper where you can find many categories and  up to 2560×1600 pixels (I know!, thats a 32″ Mac monitor at least). Here  the URLs:

This first one is probably my favorite. Every day wallpapers get added in whole set resolutions and you won´t be dissapointed at this. Actually, this might replace all kinf of sites but the reason it can´t be unique it´s because  you can´t find  some categories like  anime, cars, cartoons, celebrities etc. Interfacelift usually  shows photo taken and  PC created photos.
