Y las memorias USB cada vez vienen más y más pequeñas y este es el caso de la llamada Wink que, a no ser que tengas extremo cuidado, probablemente termines perdiendo.

Hurray! More Beatles stuff, Apple Corps were probably thinking ‘how much more money can we get out of this?!’. No offense to Beatles-fans, I really like them, but common, there is soooooo much stuff on the internet. The latest thing they came up with is a ‘Apple shaped USB stick’. What’s up next? A ‘USB stick shaped as Paul McCartney’s head’? (in various versions, his changes through the years, though, I’ll prefer a Harrison USB) Is it just me, or are they going over the top again?!

The Beatles entire back catalogue will be released on this new Apple shaped USB stick. If you’re wanting one of these, the release will be kept to a strictly limited edition. It will contain 14 studio album, CD ‘visual elements’, 13 mini-documentary films about the albums, replicated original  UK album art, rare photos and expanded liner notes. Well, who doesn’t want that?!(*cough* me *cough*)

So what are you paying for that 16GB of Beatles stuff (audio and visual contents: FLAC 44.1 KHZ 24 bit and MP3 320 Kpbs for both PC and Mac, to be honest I barely know what these things mean, but 320 Kpbs is good right?!)? Well, only 30.000 will be made, 100 will be available to pre-order in the UK. Costs are £200 each. Not cheap at all! But you know it’s all you wanted right?! (sorry, I just have to be sarcastic for some reason, maybe because it’s testweek)

Voici,un résumé plutôt originale de la dernière keynote d’Apple présentant itunes avec une nouvelle interface de synchro et l’os 3.1 de l’iPhone qui permettent de ranger ses applications depuis son pc ou mac, l’iPod touch en 32 gb et 64 gb(plus puissant que le 3gs mais sans capteurs photos, et un iPod nano en 8 et 16 gb intégrant un capteur photos mais ne permettant que de faire de la vidéo et l’iPod classic qui paase de 120 Gb à 160gb. On a aussi pu profiter du retour de Steve Jobs sur les planches mais pas de Mactablette !

Des nouveauté somme toute raisonnable mais pas de quoi en faire tout un plat non plus !

The Zune HD just came out, and so far from the reviews I’m hearing and seeing, it looks pretty clean!!!  It reminds me of the iPod Touch, but it looks sleeker to me for some reason… lol  The feature that “WOWED” me the most was the add on of the internet browser!  Although you need wifi to go online, it is great that Microsoft enabled a browser on its device.  So far, it is not as fast as the ipod Touch/Phone browser, it is still a + for me!

Após o lançamento da nova PS3 Slim, a Sony lança a nova PSP, a qual vai ter 16 GB de memória interna, ecrã deslizante, tamanho reduzido e a falta de suporte a jogos no seu estado físico, sendo a compra feita online através da Playstation Store. A sua chegada está prevista para 1 de Outubro a um preço de 250€ em Portugal.

Segundo uma fonte da loja Best Buy a consola portátil da Sony vai receber uma redução de preço mesmo antes de chegar às lojas, podendo o preço descer para 200 dólares, se usarmos o principio de que 200 dólares vão ser 200€ em Portugal vamos ter uma redução de preço de 50€. Se for confirmada esta baixa de preço, poderá fazer com que muita gente opte por comprar a consola.

Techtree reports that the recent announcements at the Rock & Roll event by Apple about their new iPod models are exciting. While the old 16GB model has been dropped and the old 8GB model’s price slashed, Apple announced two third generation 32GB and 64GB models. Both these new models, apart from having some new features as Voice Control and Genius Mixes, support OpenGL ES 2.0 graphics for accelerated 3D graphics and are boasted to be 50 percent faster.

Here it is in a nutshell:

• 8GB iPod Touch – $199 (previously $229)
• 16GB iPod Touch – dropped
• 32GB iPod Touch (third generation) – $299 (previously $399)

Steve Jobs made his return today on stage, to announce an update on all iPod models. However the rumors did not all turn out to be true, as there was no iPAD and no camera for the iPod Classic or iPod Touch, however the news about the delay in manufacturing the new iPod Touch device seems like they might announce a camera model later.

The iPod Touch got a minimal update, however there is still maybe hope for the camera model. But all Apple announced was a size increase, up to 64GB; and a price drop which will be a good thing for the iPod market.

The iPod Classic was also rumored to get a camera, however it didn’t happen but they have made the device slimmer and also bumped up the memory but kept the price.

iPod Nano

iPod Nano now has a VGA camera capable of shooting H.264 video at 30fps, just like the iPhone 3GS. It’s still comes in 8GB and 16GB models and in the usual array of colours. It has a larger 2.2 inch screen and comes with a microphone and speaker.  And now has the VoiceOver feature like the shuffle does. It has a FM radio tuner now also built in and a voice recording app, exactly like the iPhone’s.
