I think one of the few things that I sourced out first was wedding decor. Definitely because I’m so darn cerewet that when I did the 1st glance through of the decor companies that I know, I didn’t like 95% of what I see. Menyampah kan.. Might as well tkya ade decor. But because I’m fickle-minded like that.. I eventually made an appointment with Jentayu Gallery.

Jentayu Gallery is almost the same as Tahta Tiara, in terms that they offer almost fixed themed and conceptual dais. Cume Jentayu would probably be more flexible in terms of colours, type of flowers etc. To be fair, I didn’t have much choice at that point either cause I’m making my bookings pretty late as compared to other btbs. So I had to make sure that whenever I asked for any quotations from any vendors that I asked too whether they’re available on my wedding date. And of course, most were fully booked.

I made the appointment with intentions to ask more about their packages and services and also to allow my parents to have a feel of Jentayu’s decor services. We liked what we saw. Even though I was still undecided what I wanted (fickle-minded tahap annoying). We liked the dais and the packages that included things like bridal room decor/nikah dais, gubahan trays, sireh dara, bunga pahar, bunga rampai, berkat and wedding cards.

They are on the expensive side of the spectrum though. The decor (only) price ranging from $4,500 to $6,000. And the package price ranging from $7,300 (limitations to which decor theme you can choose too) to $10,700. The major consideration that my parents and I had to do was our number of jemputan. The packages catered to 1000 pax, standard as for all other wedding decor services too.

BUT, because my dad insist on inviting the whole kampung, kawan kilang, kawan kerja lama, kawan main goli, kawan main congkak segala.. My wedding will have 2000 pax, insyaA. And it’s not even a combined wedding. Memang ternganga uh cause all prices would be doubled! Garuk kepala macam mana nak afford.. Ingat tahun 2020 baru kahwin. Nasib baik, dad said he’s paying for catering. 2000 pax no joke seh, on average catering itself would definitely fetch at least $20k. Nak kena tambah meja, kerusi, berkat semua. My uncle even said on the first meeting that 800-1000 cards belum tentu cukup. Padahal at most, my share of the cards would probably only be 10%. And because nothing my mum and I say to my dad will change his mind, even decreasing the invites to 1500 or 1800, so we just agreed.

Anyway back to Jentayu, a few days after the appointment, I sent an email asking for specific quotations to cater to 2000 pax. They did give a rough estimation at the appointment but I needed a specific figure to present to my parents. To cut story short, even though it was a basic enquiry, I didn’t get a reply. So after a few days, I called and the person that attended to me wasn’t in and I was told to try the next day. Tried again the next day, the person said busy with dais set-up. I never got a reply.. even till today. My parents were actually good to go with engaging Jentayu but how to even confirm that when I can’t even get a reply for a basic enquiry.

It could be because they were extremely swamped during that period and forgot about me afterwards. Whatever it is, it’s okay.. bukan rezeki masing-masing. They are, however, very active at updating their Facebook page, so thumbs up for that.

I had a hard time trying to find suitable comparison with another btb with 2000 pax as well. So if any btbs out there with 2000 pax as well need comparison or any info, I’m more than willing to share.

Now off to deal with my emotions. Need fresh air. Sigh.

FINALLY , Tempa T is releasing his Debut Mixtape / Album / EP,  as in Entitled on the cover.

I have been waiting for this since 2008,  around 2007  Tempa T said on various radio sets, Freestyles & Youtube video’s he would be Releasing ’2000 & PAX’ in 2008. Sadly it never surfaced and die-hard fans like me have been Grasping on to his radio rips on Youtube praying for a Mixtape.

Then  ’2000 & PAX’ fazed out & was renamed ‘DUN KNOW DA DUN KNOW’  there was still no sign of a Release but many promises were broken. For the past year or so, we have been left in the dark without anyway release of a Mixtape. Tempz has still been prominent in the Grime scene,  doing various shows,Freestyles, A parody running for The London Mayor with Vice and Releasing ‘Say it right now’.

Finally ! we have all been Blessed with a Release date of his well anticipated debut Album.

Hopefully ‘All star pars’ will be released on The 21st of December, just before Christmas, so you can play through ‘All star Pars’ while Eating your Christmas Dinner

There’s been no word on a Track list or if there is going to be physical release or if it is just going to be a Digital Release. It isn’t up on I tunes yet to Pre order but keep an Eye on MRTREMIX.COM and Tempa T’s twitter.

Hope fully ‘Watch the Skank’, ‘RBX’, ‘New Day’, ‘Battle Riddim’, ‘Shittard’, ‘Are you on this ting ?’, ‘Boy off Da ting’, ‘Ring off da Ting’,'Spray dem’ are on the Album.

My favourite Grime artist ever, is back with his Brand new single “Say it right now”.

I would deluded if I’m not going to say Tempz has been a Myth for the past few years, Sure he has been doing a lot of touring and Done a Spoof with Noisey Running for London mayor which  where he made 6 videos about his manifesto which was very entertaining. He also brought out Hypest hype with Chase & Status as a free download and collaborated with Jme bringing out the very successful single ‘Cd is dead’ which featured on JME’s album entitled “BLAM” but apart from that his last solo project was a release of his infamous Grime banger ‘Next hype’ (Released on “No hats, no hoods”) it is the Grime national anthem. While every Grime night you go to, it is Obligatory to drop it and as well as House party’s a like.

I have been eagerly awaiting Tempa T’s debut album “2000 & Pax”, but Tempz has failed to release it. He has now retitled his album ”The Last of Tempa T”, I know it’s sound Biased but I wouldn’t be surprised if it would be one of the best selling Grime albums of all time. But if Tempz takes any longer to release his debut album he might have missed his opportunity due to the fact the Hype might have fizzled out. As I recall he has been saying it was coming out in 2008, TEMPZ of course won’t loose his Hyperactivity, when have you seen him relaxed ?

All jokes aside, Seriously !

DON’T PAR US TEMPZ ! GET YOUR ALBUM OUT ASAP !
