I am having a mini-pity party for myself. Next month is the 2009 Worlds for Gymnastics in London – this will be the first Worlds that I don't be going to since 2001. It really shouldn't be a big deal – most the gymnasts I like are not going either (usually the Worlds right after the Olympics sucks – i.e. Memmel winning the All-Around in 2005 is a prime example). So…………….this is even more of a reason to hope that Chicago gets the 2016 Olympics Games – we will find out the end of next week.
