Prima parte a saradei publice numite Alegeri Prezidentiale 2009 s-a incheiat. Cum de altfel s-a incheiat si frumosul sondaj pus cu mare atentie in dreapta blogului meu!

Concluzii (x3):

I. Voi incepe mai intai cu concluziile punctuale ale sondajului personal.

La intrebarea “Pe cine o sa injuri in viitorii 5 ani?!?” cititorii fideli ai blogului i-au desemnat pe primul loc (la egalitate de voturi) pe:

• SCrin Antonescu
• Pe cei de la net
• Pe mama (fapt pentru care vreau sa le multumesc foarte mult alegatorilor)

Pe al doilea si al treilea loc s-au clasat la o distanta de fix un vot: 

• “Sotul doamnei Geoana”
• Pastile Vadim
• El Capitain Base
• Nem tudom Kelemen

Respectiv

• Alina Plugaru
• Fred Flintstone
• Nea doctoru Sorin

Singurul care a scapat de 5 ani de suplicii si cuvinte grele se pare ca este, uimitor de altfel, Dang! Dang!!! Jiji (se pare ca nu am primit niciun stelist pe blog). Prin urmare ma simt nevoit sa concluzionez ca nici macar Alina Plugaru ori Fred Flintstone nu sunt o solutie pentru Romania post ‘89 in timp ce se pare “ca Cavalerul Luminii” este cel mai indreptatit sa preia fraiele puterii si sa duca tara spre mantuire, respectiv spre Champions League.

II. In continuare am sa incerc sa-mi expun parerea umila legata de ceea ce s-a intamplat azi 22 Noiembrie 2009 prin frumoasa noastra tara:

Cum era de asteptat ne-am facut dinnou de cacat! Dinnou scandaluri electorale, buletine disparute, stampile furate, autocare sau masini mici zumzaind de colo colo, dosare penale pentru fraudare sau tentativa de fraudare a alegerilor etc. In plus, in stilul nostru caracteristic si pe principiul echitabil “petrol contra hrana”, ne-am vandut votul pe: 2 x galeata verde din plastic + 1 x punga faina + 1 x punga zahar + 1 x ulei + BONUS (cado’) 1 x radio facut in China ce prinde doar Antena Satelor (iar pentru cei mai “culti”: 2 x bancnota de 100 RON/cap de alegator student cu stomacul lipit de sira spinarii).

Ceea ce este mai rau este faptul ca nu am inteles nimic din tot acest spectacol ieftin cu iz campenesc. Am ales Parlament Unicameral – caci na orice decizie importanta trece prin stomac – in virtutea faptului ca “numai asa vom face economie la bugetul statului” sau “numai asa ne putem razbuna pe alesi pentru situatia de saracie lucie in care am ajuns”; acest principiu gaunos: “sa mai moara si capra vecinului” a facut ca 77,4% (dupa CURS) sa nu se uite mai departe de lungul nasului, ignorand implicatiile reale ale unei asemenea decizii.

Nu am inteles ca nu suntem pregatiti pentru Unicameral, nu am inteles ca intr-o democratie fragila si plapanda (ca sa nu zic corupta si putreda) ca a noastra, intr-o tara ce nu a flirtat mult timp cu un asemenea sistem si nici nu are o cultura democratica bine sedentarizata, un Parlament Unicameral este un adevarat dezastru.  Nu am inteles faptul ca atata timp cat ne dorim sa fim o tara liberala (mai ales d.p.d.v. economic) este complet impotriva naturii sa avem doar o singura Adunare Legislativa. Ca sa va faceti o idee in U.E. avem doar 10 state cu Parlament Unicameral: Bulgaria, Cipru, Danemarca, Estonia, Finlanda, Grecia, Ungaria, Letonia, Lituania, Portugalia si Suedia.

Iar la nivel global mai putem adauga ca relevante tari precum: China, Iran, Irak, Venezuela, Cuba sau Islanda. Prin urmare dupa cum puteti observa se poate crea un pattern: toate aceste state sunt fie socialiste/comuniste (sau au avut tangente cu comunismul), fie nu sunt democratice (ba chiar sunt dictaturi sau sunt guvernate totalitar), fie au fost sau sunt inca monarhii, fie au o lunga istorie democratica si politica (precum si un inalt nivel de trai). Nici unul din statele Unicamerale nu se vor liberale, ci mai degraba tanjesc dupa un status-quo marcat de o bunastare generala, ori nu au libertatea – politica si financiara – necesara pentru a tanji dupa vreun alt sistem politic si economic.

Riscul cel mai mare in cazul nostru este acela de a ne adanci si mai mult in mocirla economica in care ne aflam (prin alunecare pe o panta non-capitalista) si, poate cel mai rau, fara sa ne dam seama, sa acordam viitorului Presedinte al Romaniei puteri nebanuit de mari, transformand micul nostru “colt de Rai” intr-un “teren de joaca” al unui dictator in devenire. Spun asta fiindca principalul rol al unui sistem Bicameral nu este acela de a “manca banii contribuabililor pentru nimic” ci cel de a functiona ca “plasa de siguranta” prin asigurarea unui cross-checking al tuturor legilor si deciziilor Prezidentiale ori Guvernamentale. Atentie mare! Guvernarea prin ordonante de urgenta, tirania unei minoritati parlamentare, presiunea in luarea unei decizii/votarii unei legi si toate aceste riscuri politico-sociale pentru un stat nu vor fi “anulate” ci mai degraba vor gasi moduri facile de a se “exprima”.

In ceea ce priveste numarul, voi fi scurt: the less the better! Desi in acest caz exista totusi si un dezavantaj: puterea unui sg. vot va fi mai mare, iar coroborat cu un Parlament Unicameral formarea unei opozitii se va dovedi oarecum dificila – deciziile fiind mult mai transante. Si ar mai fi o chestiune de coruptie… dar sa nu fim atat de pesimisti!

III. La final am sa-mi afirm dezamagirea legata de rezultatul (desi inca preliminar) acestui prim tur de scrutin. Ca sa spun drept, inca de cand a inceput aceasta campanie electorala am avut un gutt feeling ca El Comandante Base va iesi dinnou triumfator – cel putin intr-o prima instanta, deci nu m-a mirat ca el a adunat cel mai mare numar de voturi. Ce ma mira cel mai mult este faptul ca  ceilalti candidati s-au ridicat cu greu la nivelui primilor doi “victoriosi”.

Un alt lucru care ma dezamageste chiar mai mult este ca Base’ are inca un numar enorm de simpatizanti in conditiile in care pe parcursul acestor 5 ani de guvernare s-a aflat in mijlocul unor scandaluri enorme ( “Flota”, rapirea jurnalistilor, fuga lui Omar Hayssam, trafic de armament, alegerea lui EBA, arestarea lui Gigi, Lenuta Udrea etc.) si a facut niste gafe impardonabile pentru un Presedinte (“gaozar”,“tiganca imputita”, “mai pasarica”, “sa te urci aici la mine pe masa“, “prostanac”).

Pe de alta parte nici cu Mircea Geoana nu sunt tocmai at ease. Se pare ca vom fi obligati sa alegem dinnou cf. regulii “raului cel mai mic” si tare sunt nedumerit care este acela. Vom ajunge si noi vreodata sa alegem dintre doua bine-uri?!? Unul mai mare si unul mai mic?!?

Insa despre aceasta lupta dintre Traian Basescu si Mircea Geoana o sa mai vorbesc in preajma celui de-al doilea tur al Alegerilor Prezidentiale. Pentru moment am sa iau acest rezultat ca o exprimare libera si democratica a unor cetateni maturi, rationali si cu simt civic.

SINOPSE

Durante os ensaios da cerimônia de casamento de seu irmão mais novo Paul, interpretado por Breckin Meyer [Garfield (2004), Kate & Leopold (2001) e Clueless (1995)], Connor, interpretado por  Matthew McConaughey [Fool's Gold (2008/I), Surfer, Dude (2008) e Sahara (2005)], fotógrafo de celebridades e personificação da cafajestagem masculina, recebe a visita do fantasma de seu tio Wayne, interpretado por Michael Douglas [Traffic (2000), Fatal Attraction (1987) e Basic Instinct (1992)], do fantasma de sua ex-namorada do passado, Allison, interpretada por Emma Stone [The House Bunny (2008), Superbad (2007) e Paper Man (2009)] e do fantasma de sua ex-namorada do futuro, que o levam a uma hilariante e reveladora odisséia, visitando seus desastrosos relacionamentos do passado, presente e futuro.

Já Jenny Perotti, interpretada por Jennifer Garner [Valentine's Day (2010), Elektra (2005) e The Kingdom (2007)], é uma ex namorada de Connor que vai deixá-lo na corda bamba. Juntos, tentarão descobrir o que transformou Connor num idiota insensível e se ainda há esperança dele encontrar o verdadeiro amor ou se é uma causa perdida.

CRÍTICA

Sério, o que você esperava desse filme? Meu Deus do céu, é uma comédia romântica, não é uma aventura ou um suspense e também, não é tão ruim como estão dizendo por aí. O filme é bom? Não! Mas não é uma porcaria, é sem dúvida um entretenimento. É chato? Lógico que não! Um filme, cujo elenco é de primeira e um enredo interessante, só pode acabar em um bom divertimento. O problema é que faltou entrosamento do elenco e originalidade no roteiro…

McConaughey banca ele mesmo, o charmoso mulherengo, Garner é a mesma de sempre, apática e sem absolutamente nenhuma química com seu par romântico em cena, e Michael Douglas é quem tentou salvar a pátria, mas não conseguiu, na verdade ele aparece muito pouco e quando o faz é tão sem graça quanto Garner.

Aí vem o festival de clichês, começando com a temática de ex namorados e seus casos mal resolvidos, depois passamos pela tela em velocidade vertiginosa, aí vem o bolo de casamento com várias camadas que está em vias de ser destruído, as damas de honra taradas, o noivo que tenta agradar a noiva e só piora as coisas, as brigas entre os parentes e, é claro, o casal principal com seu vai-não-vai. No entanto, no meio disso tudo – literalmente, no meio mesmo – surgem algumas deliciosas cenas que explicam como Connor se tornou o cafajeste que é e suas "aulas" com o mestre Wayne sobre a arte de levar as mulheres para a cama.

Em contrapartida, eis que surge a extremamente “oitentista” Allison Vandermeersh, que é interpretada por Emma Stone, e que acaba sendo uma surpresa agradável. Não por acaso, é ela quem conduz Connor durante o já citado trecho mais inspirado do filme. Graças à atuação amalucada de Emma Stone, a imprevisível Allison rouba várias cenas durante o tour que proporciona ao seu assombrado, principalmente quando este chega à idade adulta e passamos a ver dois McConaughey na tela para o deleite das mulheres!

Agora, o que surpreende é que, após três comédias excelentes como Freaky Friday ou “Uma Sexta-Feira Muito Louca” (2003), Mean Girls ou “Meninas Malvadas” (2004) e Just Like Heaven ou “E Se Fosse Verdade” (2005), o diretor Mark Waters escorrega feio aqui, com ângulos e cenas pouco inspiradas e sem arrancar boas interpretações de seu elenco.

Fraco mas nem por isso chato, "Minhas Adoráveis Ex-Namoradas" é uma filme que pode e deve ser visto em DVD, pois não vale o investimento da pipoca e do ingresso somado a uma hora em pé na fila com o namorado de cara amarrada a tira-colo!

Et fuck. Comme prévu, j’ai rien eu le temps de faire ces dernieres semaines. Prenez le manuscrit, il a beau être fini il est toujours truffé de fautes d’orthographes. L’épave de ma Xbox jonche toujours le sol en attendant que je trouve un carton pour la filer au mec d’UPS. Quant au mémoire, et malgré les hurlements de la haute autorité parentale, c’est toujours le point mort. D’ailleurs la dernière fois que je suis passé à l’école j’ai failli attendre la fin du cours de ma directrice de master pour lui dire que j’étais encore vivant. La bonne blague. Tain. Le pire dans tout ça c’est que j’ai même pas l’impression de bosser tant que ça. Vous me direz, tout ça est parfaitement normal. Puis là, ce week-end, j’ai réalisé un truc. Aujourd’hui, c’est le dernier lundi que je passe sur Paris d’ici l’année prochaine.

Ouais bon dit comme ça, ça n’a l’air de rien. Mais du coup je suis incapable de me projeter avant janvier. Vendredi matin je rentre sur Lyon et à partir de là, que ce soit boulot, scolairement, artistiquement, socialement, tout est repoussé. Le pire c’est de lutter pour courir après la bande de gens qui vont atrocement me manquer pendant mes espèces de grandes vacances d’hiver. Sans parler des raclures de fourbes qui ne seront même plus là au printemps, entre les stages à l’étranger et whatever. Cinq semaines en vadrouille et je panique déjà. Je suis tellement traumatisé à l’idée de louper quoi que ce soit que c’est à se demander comment je peux faire pour dormir. Toutes ces heures où la planète tourne sans moi. Rien que d’y penser j’ai des débuts de vertige. Un jour je finirai bien par parler de tous ces soucis d’égocentrisme à un psy, mais bon, en attendant, j’ai encore mon blog.

Ah oui d’ailleurs, bonjour l’organisation pour continuer à raconter n’importe quoi pendant que je serai à New-York. Contre toute attente j’envisage plus que sincèrement de m’offrir un petit netbook des familles, que ce soit pour commencer mon nouveau manuscrit dans l’avion, twitter n’importe quoi en taxant les wifis des Starbucks ou surtout mettre à jour la machine bloguesque. J’ai hâte de faire du Photoshop sur un douze pouces. A mon niveau de geek, ça reste vivre dangereusement. Enfin c’était ça ou pleurer ma misère à mon hôte pour checker mes mails. J’ai pas d’argent mais j’ai un minimum de dignité. Puis je pourrai surtout cocher une case sur la longue listes des trucs à faire avant de mourir, entre le plan à trois avec les sœurs Olsen et la figuration dans Bad Boys III, à savoir écrire quelques pages de roman sur un banc à Central Park.

Tout ça pour dire que 2009 sur Paris, c’est fini pour moi. Y’aura des regrets, des embrassades et ptête un œil humide ou deux. Dans tous les cas je devrais repartir avec une deg’ attitude. Ville de merde tiens, quand j’y vais je fais la gueule, quand j’en pars je fais la gueule.

On November 19th, I went to Cafe Dekcuf and saw four bands.
It was also an all ages show

I was sort of late seeing the first band because I was hanging out with Still Life Still doing a interview which will be uploading very soon.
Got there and the band was already playing.
It was a unique just to say the least.
Can’t blame them since they are a new band and started out playing just over a month.

The Gallop was up next and they seem to bring in alot of people when they play.
Being an all ages show, there was an eleven year old girl was there just to see the Gallop, of course the mom was there.
They always put on a fun set.

Then Still Life Still was up and this was my fourth time this year seeing them live.
Set is always fun and crazy.
They sang two new songs and sang tracks from Girls Come Too.
Loved hearing Lite-Bright Lawns and sang T-shirt which my face will turn red when singing that song.
Great lively band to see.

Finally it was Two Hours Traffic.
I didn’t get to see them last month at Zaphods.
They seem to play a longer set.
Sang mostly from Little Jabs and Territory.
Liam mentioned how the last show, they didn’t get to play any of the songs at Zaphods due to the time curfew.
I was happy to see them even it was an all ages show.
They even sang Backseat Sweetheart as a request since it wasn’t on their setlist.
It was a wonderful set and I was glad to see them live this time.

Overall I really enjoyed it being an all ages show.
That the older crowds wouldn’t dare go to an all ages show but you can drink just having to wear a wristband.
Or that people were waiting in the movie theatres to watch New Moon.

SINOPSE

Christine Brown é uma ambiciosa agente de crédito de um banco em Los Angeles, ela tem um super namorado e um futuro brilhante. Mas em três dias, ela vai para o inferno. Um dia chega ao banco a misteriosa Sra. Ganush implorando pela extensão do financiamento de sua casa própria. Christine nega o pedido para impressionar seu chefe, Sr. Jacks, e acaba sendo amaldiçoada pela velhota. Perseguida por um espírito do mal, ela busca ajuda do médium Rham Jas. Christine fará de tudo para sobreviver, desde sacrifícios até feitiços, mas nada poderá deter essa força maligna, resta esperar e ir para o inferno.

CRÍTICA

Do mesmo produtor de 30 Days of Night (2007), 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (ano indefinido), The Grudge (2004), The Evil Dead (1981 e 2010), Spider-Man 4 (2011), entre outros, DRAG ME TO HELL ou ARRASTA-ME PARA O INFERNO é um dos últimos trabalhos de Sam Raime, que dirigiu, produziu e escreveu esse longa de terror, um dos melhores filmes do gênero dos últimos tempos.

Frequentemente as pessoas são atraídas por imagens, figuras, formas, fotos, cores, etc. Quando se coloca tudo isso em um pôster, peça promocional usada em diversos segmentos comerciais, inclusive o cinematográfico, cria-se uma identidade visual, cuja qual atrai milhares, até mesmo, milhões de pessoas por todo o mundo. No caso da industria cinematográfica, confeccionar pôsteres é uma das inúmeras ações que devem ser feitas para a estréia de um longa metragem, no entanto um pôster mal feito ou mal idealizado pode prejudicar o lançamento de um filme, bem como a conexão do público para com o mesmo.

“Arrasta-me Para o Inferno” chamou a atenção quando lançou o pôster oficial, deixando os aficionados por filmes e terror de cabelos em pé. Realmente o pôster, como mostrado abaixo, é fantástico e ao contrário da maioria dos pôsteres de filmes de qualquer gênero, esse faz jus ao filme.

Não é de hoje que saímos do cinema sussurrando a velha e famosa expressão – “achei que fosse melhor” – tudo porque julgamos o filme pelo pôster, assim como julgamos o livro pela capa, as pessoas pela aparência, etc. Mas no caso desse filme, se você acha ou achou que filme era bom por causa do pôster, acertou!

Na verdade não é bom e sim excelente, faziam anos que eu não assistia a um bom filme de terror, desses que realmente mete um “puta medo do inferno”, com perdão das palavras e que prende agente do começo ao final. Com roteiro convencional e ainda assim atraente, efeitos especiais horripilantes e direção impecável, o filme é imperdível.

A personagem que mais chama atenção e nos deixa apavorados, além de enojados – depois que você assistir vai entender – é uma senhora chamada Sylvia Ganush que é interpretada pela atriz Lorna Raver. Qualquer das inúmeras feições que a atriz faz, nos deixa apavorados, seu personagem mete mais medo do que o personagem fictício ao qual a história é focada.

Ainda em alguns cinemas, ARRASTA-ME PARA O INFERNO é uma ótima opção para os fãs do gênero, além dos sustos garantidos. Vale comentar que a atriz do cartaz não condiz com a atriz do filme, o que uma boa foto não faz! São as mesmas, porém no cartaz ela é selvagem e sexy, ao contrário da imagem passada no filme, de uma mulher frágil e confusa.

que este disco sea una despedida es una mala noticia, pero estoy seguro de que el Lichis no va a dejar de hacer canciones… y el hecho de que quiera renovarse nunca es mala señal

Carne de Canción es un recopilatorio que se sale de lo normal, ya que contiene temas inéditos, grabaciones en directo, versiones diferentes de canciones antiguas, regrabaciones y hasta una maqueta. el planteamiento es inmejorable

parece lógico que el repertorio se haya escogido pensando tanto en los seguidores de siempre como en el público que solo conoce sus mayores éxitos, pero como yo soy de los primeros, lógicamente no me gusta del todo; me parece excesivo que aparezca dos veces La lista de la compra (me bastaría con la maqueta), y que aparezcan hasta seis canciones de su anterior trabajo, Hotel Lichis (2005), que está muy bien grabado, a diferencia de sus dos primeros discos, cuyas grabaciones no son muy buenas

las canciones nuevas no aportan demasiado a la discografía de La Cabra Mecánica, pero tampoco están de más; Carne de canción es la mejor de las tres, es muy apropiada para dar comienzo y título a este recopilatorio. Valientes es el primer single, no está mal, aunque no creo que sea lo mejor que puede llegar a hacer el Lichis. por último, Yayo Yaya es una extravagancia que no ha dado buen resultado… al parecer se trataba de una sintonía para una serie de televisión

precisamente lo más destacable de Carne de Canción me parece que es la regrabación de viejas canciones, así como las versiones en las que el Lichis le da otro enfoque a sus canciones… me parecen excelentes Shalala, Mi única riqueza, En la soleada tarde…, Pégate un tiro y Malacara. también parece lógica la inclusión de El día de tu boda y Caramelo grabadas en estudio, ya que solo han aparecido en el disco en directo

As reported in a breaking Billboard.com news story yesterday, Jay-Z earns his fourth Hot 100 No. 1 with “Empire State of Mind,” his collaboration with Alicia Keys. All of Jay-Z’s four chart-toppers have been collaborations, but this is his first No. 1as a lead or co-billed vocalist. The rap legend’s prior chart-topping entries came as a featured vocalist on Mariah Carey’s “Heartbreaker” (1999), his now-wife Beyonce’s “Crazy In Love” (2003) and Rihanna’s “Umbrella” (2007).

“Empire” is also Keys’ fourth overall No. 1, as she previously scaled the list with her debut single “Fallin’” (2001), her duet with Usher, “My Boo,” (2004) and “No One” (2007).

“Empire” takes Hot 100 Airplay Gainer honors as it rises 6-1 on Radio Songs (up 15 million listener impressions to 109.5 million), the largest climb to No. 1 on that chart since Kanye West’s “Stronger” jumped 7-1 in the Oct. 6, 2007, issue.

The other big story within the Hot 100 top 10 is the 22-5 move and a Digital Gainer nod for Lady Antebellum’s “Need You Now.” The act, which won Vocal Group of the Year and Single of the Year (for “I Run To You”) on ABC’s “Country Music Awards” Nov. 11, performed “Need” on the highly rated broadcast.

As a result, digital downloads soared 162% to 157,000, the highest one-week sum for a song by a country group since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking digital sales in 2003. Among all country acts, only Taylor Swift has moved more downloads for a track in a single week.

Lady Antebellum is also the first country group to reach the Hot 100 top 10 since Dixie Chicks peaked at No. 4 with “Not Ready to Make Nice” in March 2007.

Owl City’s “Fireflies” falls from No. 1 to No. 2 once more, now having spent two single-week stints at the top of the list. Another recent No. 1, Jason DeRulo’s “Whatcha Say” holds at No. 3 and Iyaz’s “Replay” remains at No. 4.

Britney Spear’s “3″ rebounds 8-6, “Down” by Jay Sean Featuring Lil Wayne dips 5-7 and Miley Cyrus’ “Party In The U.S.A.” also falls two spots to No. 8. Ke$ha chimes in with her first top 10, “Tik Tok” (14-10), becoming the second female act to score a top 10 with her debut single this year, following Lady Gaga. And she appropriately follows Gaga on this week’s list as “Paparazzi” slips 7-9.

The Glee Cast has charted 14 songs on the Hot 100, and for the first time sees one track move up the chart as the troupe’s cover of the “Wicked” musical’s signature song “Defying Gravity” bounds 99-31. “Gravity’s” gain is a result of a 185% digital spike to 70,000 downloads. Not coincidentally, the “Wicked” Broadway cast album nets its best sales week since last Christmas (6,000; up 85%) and the original “Defying” by Idina Menzel and Kristen Chenoweth has its best download week ever (9,000 downloads).

Hot Shot Debut honors go to “Give It Up To Me” by Shakira Featuring Lil Wayne, the second single from the Latin songstress from her upcoming “She Wolf, due Nov. 23. The track enters the chart with 25,000 first-week downloads and moves 30-29 on the Mainstream Top 40 chart.

Another interesting debut comes from California native Anya Marina, who enters at No. 88 with a cover or T.I.’s former No. 1 “Whatever You Like.” Her version was featured in a recent episode of the CW’s “Gossip Girl.”

John Mayer Headed To No. 1 On Billboard 200

The annual onslaught of big album releases has begun in earnest as a bevy of superstar acts are in the hunt for high debuts on next week’s Billboard 200 chart.

John Mayer is on track to debut at No. 1 with “Battle Studies,” which could sell somewhere between 275,000 and 300,000 copies by week’s end on Sunday (Nov. 22), according to industry sources. It will be the singer/songwriter’s second topper, following “Heavier Things” in 2003. “Heavier” bowed in the penthouse with 317,000 copies. Mayer’s last studio set, “Continuum,” entered the chart at No. 2 with 300,000 in 2006.

Mayer will likely lead a parade of who’s-who in music next week on the chart, as another nine albums are on track to debut inside the top 20. Next in line could be Casting Crowns‘ “Until the Whole World Hears,” with possibly as much as 175,000 copies. After that, 50 Cent’s “Before I Self Destruct” and Norah Jones‘ “The Fall” are vying for the third-highest debut, as each are estimated to sell around 150,000 copies.

Tween sensation Justin Bieber’s debut album, “My World,” could shift 100,000 copies while “American Idol” winner Kris Allen may see his debut effort move approximately 90,000 copies. Rock supergroup Them Crooked Vultures seems on track to sell about 75,000 with its first effort and Leona Lewis’ second album, “Echo,” may sell 50,000 to 60,000, as will Paul McCartney’s new live set “Good Evening New York City.”

As for the big-selling holdover titles on next week’s list, the largest will be Andrea Bocelli’s “My Christmas,” which should sell another 100,000 copies. So far in two weeks, it has moved 285,000 copies.

Next week’s chart competes with the Billboard 200 in 2008 when Beyonce’s “I Am … Sasha Fierce” blew in with 482,000 copies and Nickelback’s “Dark Horse” galloped into the runner-up slot with 326,000 copies. All told, the tally greeted six debuts in the top 10 and each of the top seven sets surpassed 100,000 copies.

Nielsen SoundScan’s sales tracking week, as reflected in Billboard’s sales charts, runs from Monday through Sunday of each week. Next week’s album charts will be revealed on Nov. 25 and will reflect data through the week ending Nov. 22.
