Os novos processadores são baseados na tecnologia de 45nm da Intel, que por sinal já esta ficando obsoleta.</p>
<p><a href="http://techno09.wordpress.com/files/2009/09/intel_core_i7_logo_01.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-456" title="Intel_Core_i7_logo_01" src="http://techno09.wordpress.com/files/2009/09/intel_core_i7_logo_01.jpg?w=246" alt="Intel_Core_i7_logo_01" width="120" height="147" /></a>Eles possuem o novo <em>Quick Path Interconnect</em> no lugar do <em>front-side bus</em> e a tecnologia <em>Turbo Boost</em>, para aumentar em até 75% a frequência de trabalho da CPU quando necessário, sem prejudicar o seu funcionamento (e sem aquecimento).</p>
<p>A mídia especializada ainda não sabe determinar quando a indústria passará a acompanhar esse lançamento da Intel, mas uma empresa já saiu na frente. Foi a Toshiba lançando seu notebook Qosmio, que estará disponível para compra em meados de outubro.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p class="MsoNormal">For you who follow the development of PC hardware, maybe you already have a picture of performance offered by these processors. Basically, AMD Phenom Black Edition II 940 offers performance that is approximately equivalent to the Intel Core 2 Quad 9400. However, comparison of the processor is never simply that. </p>
<p><strong>45 nm processor First AMD Desktop <br /></strong><br />Phenom II denotes important step for AMD, the transition to 45 nm manufacturing. However, the Phenom processor II 45 nm is not the first, predicate is prestigious Shanghai or fall on the latest generation of Quad Core Opteron. We will discuss more manufacturing 45 nm AMD in the next section. </p>
<p>In terms of design, AMD done some adjustments in the design Phenom II. Some of these adjustments is a design / processor architectures to increase the IPC, lower latency L2 cache, increase the capacity of L3 cache from 2 MB to 6 MB, and support to upgrade the memory so that the Phenom memory controller II is ready to support DDR2 and DDR3. <!--more--></p>
<p>From the various adjustments, the most drastic changes is the capacity L3 cache and support for DDR3. However, not all can enjoy it now. Despite all the Phenom processor series II 900 have L3 cache of 6 MB, only Phenom II socket AM3 version that supports DDR3 memory. The greatest AM3 Phenom II version can also be used in socket AM2 and DDR2 memory to work with. </p>
<p><strong>AM3 Phenom II</strong> </p>
<p>In addition to backward compatible with AM2 socket, there are other reasons why Phenom II version of the socket AM3 is very interesting. Unlike II AM2 Phenom processor now, AM3 Phenom II promises power consumption and lower operating temperature. Phenom Black Edition II 940 has 125 watt TDP ratings while AM3 Phenom II will have a 95 watt TDP rating. </p>
<p>Unfortunately, you have to wait until at least February 2009 to AM3 Phenom II. AMD processor-plan launched simultaneously with the AM3 processor chipset update for the AM3 socket. So, better not buy the AM3 platform? Best is the most secure should wait first. There is no evidence that the AM3 and DDR3 will be useful for the Phenom II (even though there is some rumor that showed greater memory bandwidth). In addition, DDR3 memory is still far more expensive than DDR2 1066 memory with the same capacity. </p>
<p><strong>Price</strong> </p>
<p>There is new developments on the price of this processor. When launched in January, the AMD Phenom processors to sell 940 II Black Edition and Phenom II 920 with a price of U.S. $ 274 and U.S. $ 234 (for the purchase of 1K). Along with a decrease in price Intel processors, AMD Phenom prices adjust back II, so the Phenom 940 II can be obtained at the price of U.S. $ 225 and Phenom 920 II with the sale price of U.S. $ 190. Selling price of Phenom 940 II Black Edition is not much different from the Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 and Q9550.</p>

El procesador Core i7  es el primer miembro de una familia nueva de diseños de procesador Nehalem y el más sofisticado jamás creado, fabricado con tecnologías innovadoras para mejorar en gran medida su rendimiento “a la carta” y para maximizar la cantidad de datos procesados. El procesador Core i7 agiliza hasta en un 40% la edición de videos, la visualización de juegos inmersivos y otras actividades informáticas populares y de Internet, sin aumentar con ello el consumo de energía.</p>

Diseñado con la Tecnología  Hyper-Threading de Intel, el procesador también permite el empleo simultáneo de múltiples hilos de ejecución, permitiéndole realizar dos tareas al mismo tiempo.  De esta forma, el procesador Core i7 de cuatro núcleos ofrece el rendimiento necesario para realizar  8 hijos de ejecución.</p>

El procesador de Intel de máximo rendimiento, el Intel® Core™ i7 Extreme Edition, también elimina la protección contra la sobrevelocidad (overspeed), permitiendo a los usuarios con mayores conocimientos informáticos y a los aficionados aumentar aún más la velocidad del procesador.</p>

<li>La tecnología triple chanel para DDR3.</li>
<li>Los 45nm reduciendo así el consumo energético.</li>
<li>El renacer del HyperThreading usado anteriormente en los Pentium4, llegando así en un procesador de 4 núcleos a los 8 hilos.</li>
