“Ad-Aware SE Personal 1.06″ yra nemokama “Lavasoft Ad-Aware SE Plus”, kainuojančios 25 JAV dolerius, sesuo. Ji greitai tikrina ir pateikia išsamią ataskaitą bei statistiką, tačiau neturi apsaugos nuo tiesioginio sistemos užpuolimo.

“Code Sequence Identification” funkcija bando atpažinti naujus šnipinėjimo programų variantus, dar prieš pasirodant tiksliems jų apibūdinimams. Ji tikrina visus veikiančių procesų modulius ir juos gali iškart išjungti. Deja, nemokama versija neturi “Ad-Aware Ad-Watch” budinčio apsaugos režimo. Gal tai ir nedidelis trūkumas, nes programa ir taip nesugebėjo uždrausti šnipinėjimo programų diegimo. Ji dažnai pranešdavo apie sistemos paleidimo parametrų pokyčius, tačiau nenurodydavo, ar jie kaip nors susiję su konkrečia grėsme. Nors mes pasirinkome visų tokių procesų blokavimą, šnipinėjimo programos vis vien buvo įdiegiamos. Tik nemokamam “Microsoft” produktui iš dalies pavykdavo tokia apsaugos priemonė.

“Ad-Aware” daug geriau sekėsi šalinti jau įdiegtas šnipinėjimo programas. Ji atpažino visas, išskyrus vieną, bandymų metu naudotas kenkėjiškas programas ir pašalino du trečdalius jų. Du kartus spragtelėję kenkėjos pavadinimą, išvysite “Threat Assessment Chart” (TAC) reitingą (nuo 1 iki 10) ir nuorodą į papildomą informaciją “Lavasoft” interneto svetainėje. “Ad-Aware” išsaugo labai išsamią patikros ir veiksmų ataskaitą, bet jos duomenys taip išbarstyti, kad bendrą vaizdą nelengva suvokti. Naudingiau peržiūrėti “Statistics” langą, kuriame išvardytos visos programos aptiktos grėsmės, jų TAC reitingas ir aptikimo kartų skaičius, data bei pašalinimo laikas.

“Ad-Aware” turi įdomių savybių patyrusiems vartotojams, bet kai kurių dalykų, kuriuos siūlo konkurentės, ji neturi. Galima nurodyti visą ar dalinę patikrą atlikti ne bet kuriuo metu, o kompiuteriui kraunantis. Negalima atkurti pavienių objektų iš “karantino” – įmanoma tik atšaukti visą patikrą ir paleisti naują, nurodant, ką derėtų praleisti pro programos patikros sietą. Todėl “Ad-Aware” geriausia naudoti kaip papildomą įrankį, kai pagrindinė kovos su šnipinėjimu programa praneša apie pavojų – nemokama “Ad-Aware” gali padėti atsikratyti kenkėjų.

Po ranka pakliuvo visai idomus blogas. Perskaičiau visą. Manau vertas dėmesio tiems kurie domisi: informacijos saugumu, hakeriavimu. Įdomus rašymo stilius. Skaitai ir nepabosta. Nors tiesa pasakius turinys nėra labai rimtas matyt autorius nenori skleisti informacijos, kuria dėsto per mokymus.
