When it comes to setting your Thanksgiving table, options for the adventurous host are limitless. What are the hottest trends for you to bring to your table this year? Here are a few ideas that will take your Thanksgiving table from ordinary to extraordinary:</p>
<p>Color, Texture and Mix &#8211; Match:</p>
<p>In table linens and accessories, this year we are seeing rich, saturated colours. We are also seeing a lot of texture and the mixing and matching of patterns with solids. There are a lot of options out there to do something warm and inviting.</p>
<p>Color Trends</p>
<p>Warm tones have always been popular for Fall and that continues with some of the biggest trends in colour combinations this year. Some of those include:<br />
- Deep Spice and Aubergine with muted Gold accents &#8211; Dark Chocolate with Blues and Gray accents &#8211; Olive Green, Aubergine and softer greens as accents &#8211; Dark Chocolate, Taupe and Natural</p>
<p>Tabletop Decor</p>
<p>- Use things that you already have in your home &#8211; pull out your 3 or 4 of your favourite vases of different heights. Use complementary colors of fresh flowers for a simple and stunning arrangement. Fill three or four vases and/or glass bowls with different colors and sizes of ornaments, fruits, leaves &#8211; anything with color and texture that will create visual excitement.</p>
<p>- Your guests are all unique &#8211; why not celebrate their individuality? Use different patterns and/or colors of napkin rings that match their unique personalities. Are they simple or sophisticated? Fun or formal? Unpredictable or conservative? Show them you care with a little customization to complement your table linens.</p>
<p>- Candles are always a dramatic and cost effective way to make a statement &#8211; use votives at each place setting with a name card and emphasize beautiful table linens for a classy and simple look. Or go more dramatic and cluster your favourite candle sticks of varying heights and looks as a centerpiece. Use colors that complement or match your dishes, glasses and table linens.</p>
<p>- Nothing brings subtle sophistication to your table like a well-selected runner. Use one the length of the table plus 12 inches to hang over the edge (usually a 90&#8243; or longer) as the perfect centerpiece. If you are using a solid tablecloth or placemats, make sure to jazz it up with a festive pattern. If you have a patterned look already, use a vibrant solid runner that picks up on one of the colors in your runner.</p>
<p>- Use 2 napkins instead of one with a napkin ring. With a solid napkin inside, and a more decorative napkin on the outside.</p>
<p>When setting your table, just remember: do what feels right for the mood. A casual gathering calls for a relaxed setting. A formal meal should feel that way at the table. Either way, it doesn&#8217;t take much to elevate your in-home dining experience. Replacing an old tablecloth with something fresh an exciting, and adding a few simple table accessories can go a long way to impressing your guests. It&#8217;s that time of year when family gatherings abound and everyone spends countless hours congregating around the dinner table. With the hours spent preparing the perfect meal, make sure you don&#8217;t forget to finish it off with the perfect setting.</p>

<p>El juego a primera mirada parece&#8230;divertido, un juego estilo excite truck pero que tiene su chispa,  lo malo: tenemos otro juego de conducción&#8230;arcade, genero que en Wii esta de sobra mientras echamos en falta un buen simulador, aún así este juego parece divertido, lo que si es que UbiSoft ha entrado en un genero que en Wii da mucha competencia.</p>

<description><![CDATA[Será, provavelmente, o último dos resistentes à moda SUV e tem os dias contados graças à evolução da]]></description>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p><strong><em><a href="http://carandblog.wordpress.com/files/2009/11/img_9896a.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-1939" title="IMG_9896a" src="http://carandblog.wordpress.com/files/2009/11/img_9896a.jpg" alt="" width="468" height="311" /></a>Será, provavelmente, o último dos resistentes à moda SUV e tem os dias contados graças à evolução da legislação em termos de segurança e emissões poluentes. Simplicidade rústica, robustez e uma capacidade para ir onde nenhum outro consegue, são características do Defender, um jipe à antiga que a Land Rover tem dificuldade em exterminar e substituir.</em></strong></p>
<p>Convirá, desde já, fazer uma declaração de intenções e referir que palmilhámos muitos quilómetros ao volante de vários Defender de várias gerações e sempre o considerámos o melhor todo-o-terreno de sempre. Atenção que dizemos, “o melhor todo-o-tereno”, não o melhor jipe ou o melhor SUV.</p>
<p>Criticar o Defender é fácil, pois não existirá carro mais arcaico e anacrónico ao cimo da terra, de tal forma que nem sequer é capaz de ser actualizado para receber airbags, cintos com pré-tensores e estruturas deformáveis. Vá lá que se arranjou um espacinho para colocar o ar condicionado… Mas perguntem aos milhares de proprietários de Defender se trocariam o seu carro por um moderno SUV. A verdade é que a Land Rover tem tido enorme dificuldade em terminar a produção – cara pois é todo feito em alumínio – e maior dificuldade em arranjar-lhe um substituto, continuando a lutar contra todas as normas de segurança e ecológicas.</p>
<p>O Defender foi o modelo que deu à Land Rover a sua imagem de marca como especialista em veículos fora-de-estrada, apoiando-se ainda hoje num chassis de longarinas em aço onde são aparafusadas carroçarias distintas produzidas em alumínio. O estilo foi evoluindo, mas está muito semelhante ao dos primeiros Série I e II, surgindo nesta versão mais uma bossa no capot para albergar o motor vindo da Ford Transit.</p>
<p>Os alargamentos das cavas das rodas – necessários para albergar os eixos com vias mais largas, impossíveis de esconder debaixo da carroçaria quase centenária – dão um ar musculado ao Defender, que acaba por se perder nesta versão pick-up, nascida para ludibriar as homologações e poupar cerca de 10 mil euros no preço final. E perder lotação (há lugar apenas para 2 pessoas) e conforto.</p>
<p>A suspensão é do mais simples que possam imaginar: dois eixos rígidos com paralelogramo de Watt e molas de lâminas. Resultado: um desconforto atroz – potenciado pela capota de plástico que acima dos 60 km/h faz um barulho horrível! – em estrada e fora dela, mas um comportamento hiper-eficaz em todo-o-terreno sendo poucos os obstáculos que o sistema de tracção integral com caixa de redutoras e bloqueio dos diferenciais não consegue ultrapassar. Acreditem que é verdadeiramente impressionante andar com o Defender fora-de-estrada. Quando voltamos ao alcatrão, voltam também o desconforto, os barulhos mecânicos – a transmissão parece que se vai desconjuntar – o barulho da capota e dos pneus, ainda assim nesta versão virados quase exclusivamente para uma utilização em estrada.</p>
<p><a href="http://carandblog.wordpress.com/files/2009/11/ice_039_22d4a.jpg"><img class="size-full wp-image-1940 alignleft" title="ice_039_22d4a" src="http://carandblog.wordpress.com/files/2009/11/ice_039_22d4a.jpg" alt="" width="281" height="187" /></a>Ergonomia é palavra vã dentro do Defender. Pequena concessão: o painel de instrumentos vem do Discovery e a consola central já tem espaço para o rádio (opcional) e para o ar condicionado (também opcional). Porém, não há vidros eléctricos, comando eléctrico dos espelhos (têm de ser orientados à mão, só possível com a ajuda de outra pessoa) ou airbags. E para complicar ainda mais a tarefa, o volante é enorme, não há espaço para os braços – bater com o cotovelo na janela é comum e no todo-o-terreno é capaz de ficar com o braço negro… &#8211; e os pedais estão descentrados e são enormes, não deixando nenhum espaço para repousar o pé que acciona a embraiagem. Atrás dos bancos está uma divisória e por via disso é impossível recuar o banco suficientemente para evitar que os mais barrigudos conduzam com o volante a roçar no corpo.</p>
<p>Obviamente que em termos aerodinâmicos o Defender será muito semelhante a um cubo e por isso a velocidade máxima não vai além dos 140 km/h, valor ainda assim elevado pois a travagem é fraca – com distâncias de imobilização lançado a 100 km/h superiores a 60 metros! – e no que toca ao comportamento, a elevada altura, distância ao solo impressionante e centro de gravidade muito elevado, não ajudam a tornar o Defender muito agradável em estradas sinuosas.</p>
<p>Portanto, o Land Rover Defender será dos piores automóveis que conhecemos nestes aspectos, mas olhem bem para ele. Não dá vontade de ter um? É que a sua simplicidade e rusticidade acabam por seduzir e para aqueles cuja vida é passada entre montes e vales, comprar um Defender é a melhor opção. E ainda por cima nesta versão pick-up, custa menos de 25 mil euros o que é uma óptima notícia. Bom, se não se importar de gastar algumas centenas de euros num massagista…</p>

I&#8217;d drive it up a mountain in a straight line &#8211; over all the trees, rivers, rocks and everything else that might get in the way of a normal car &#8211; because that&#8217;s what they&#8217;re made to do. In fact, whenever I go to Denmark and I get to drive the inlaws&#8217; D3, I take it to the beach and try to make it donut in the sand* because it&#8217;s crazy fun and the car is built to do it.</p>
<p>You know what else I&#8217;d do if I had a big 4 x 4? I&#8217;d <em>not</em> force cars with 20cm of ground clearance off the road.</p>
<p>I drive my teeny tiny Micra down little tracks a lot of the time &#8211; partically because of congestion on the main roads, partially because it&#8217;s quicker and mostly because it&#8217;s fun &#8211; and on these narrow byways I frequently meet confused-looking 4 x 4 drivers. Their expressions seem to say, &#8220;How on Earth did me and my pristine Porche Cayenne get here?&#8221; or &#8220;I can&#8217;t figure out which side of the road I should be driving on. I&#8217;ll play it safe and aim for the middle.&#8221;</p>
<p>I just came across one of these wonderful motorists, who are considerate enough to flash you when they send you into a ditch but who don&#8217;t stop to think that their wonderful 37 litre engines might be a help in pulling you out again. I&#8217;ve got nothing against 4 x 4s when they&#8217;re used properly &#8211; they&#8217;re pretty awesome machines and if I had the money, I&#8217;d be driving an ancient Defender &#8211; but problems arise when people who are scared of driving big cars get behind the wheel. They seem unsure of the dimensions, erring on the side of caution and hogging the entire road. The other problem is that these big, expensive vehicles have now become a status symbol &#8211; summed up beautifully in the Porche Cayenne. That is, without doubt, the most ridiculous car I&#8217;ve ever seen. Anyone looking for a serious off-roader wouldn&#8217;t go near the thing, and so this particular vehicle tends to be driven entirely by people who live in The Suburbs and consider their driveways &#8216;off-roading&#8217;. I&#8217;d say that the Cayenne should be used for people pulling caravans (a common use of the big engines in a 4 x 4) but anyone rich enough to afford the stupid Porche price tag on those things probably holidays in 5 start lodges. So yeah, pointless car. ..</p>
<p>I seem to have lost my orignal thread. I think it was something along the lines of,&#8221;If you have a vehicle capable of going off road, use it to go off road and don&#8217;t expect little cars to ruin their front bumpers for you.&#8221;</p>
<p>That&#8217;s it, I think&#8230; wow. Tea time.</p>

Se trata del <strong>Discovery</strong>, que cumple 20 años en su cuarta generación. En este tiempo ha pasado de ser un todoterreno puro a un vehículo apto para ciudad, siempre sin perder de vista sus orígenes. Según Richard Hammond, de Top Gear, es &#8220;el mejor 4&#215;4 de todos los tiempos&#8221;.</em></p>

<p>A finales de la década de los 80, <strong>Land Rover</strong> creó un nuevo todoterreno para ocupar el hueco que estaba dejando el <strong>Range Rover</strong> al posicionarse en las zonas más altas del mercado. Fue en 1987 cuando la marca aprobó el &#8220;Proyecto Jay”, fijándose como fecha el <strong>Salón del Automóvil de Frankfurt</strong> de 1989 para la presentación del modelo de producción.<br />

<p>Ese año se expuso el nuevo <strong>Land Rover</strong> de tres puertas denominado <strong>Discovery</strong>. Inspirado en el <strong>Range Rover</strong> pero con una carrocería nueva, espacio para siete personas y un interior totalmente nuevo creado por Conran Design Studio.</p>

<p>Desde entonces, el <strong>Discovery</strong> se comercializa en 91 países con cifras de venta que superan hasta la fecha los 900.000 vehículos.</p>
<p><strong>20 años en datos</strong> <br />
1.- El innegable legado de diseño del <strong>Discovery</strong> ha ido evolucionando durante cuatro generaciones. La sutil elevación del techo en el último Discovery 4/LR4 es una deliberada referencia visual al <strong>Discovery</strong> original, en el que era necesaria una sección trasera elevada para que los pasajeros que ocupaban las últimas plazas dispusiesen de espacio suficiente.</p>
<p>2.- En un plazo de nueve años, se fabricaron 392.443 vehículos <strong>Discovery</strong> de la primera generación, lo que equivale a 43.604 unidades anuales, y en seis años, 278.570 modelos de la Serie II (una producción media anual de 46.428). Se produjeron 220.057 <strong>Discovery 3/LR3</strong> (44.011 unidades anuales) en cinco años antes de que este modelo fuese sustituido por el <strong>Discovery 4/LR4</strong>.</p>

<p>3.- La economía de consumo ha sido siempre una prioridad clave de los motores diesel del <strong>Discovery</strong> y un sistema common-rail de tercera generación ha reducido un 9,7% el consumo del más reciente motor TDV6 de 3.0 litros, en el ciclo UE combinado, respecto a su predecesor de menor cilindrada. El innovador sistema de inyección directa utilizado por los motores TDi del <strong>Discovery</strong> de primera generación se concibió específicamente para ofrecer cifras de consumo líderes en su categoría al igual que la incorporación de Inyectores Electrónicos EUI en el motor diesel TD5 de los modelos Serie II.</p>
<p>4.- El primer <strong>Discovery</strong> se presentó en 1989, en versión de tres puestas. A éste seguiría, en 1990, un modelo orientado a la familia de cinco puertas que utilizaba la misma batalla. El <strong>Discovery Serie II</strong> de tres puertas se creó como prototipo a tamaño natural, pero la demanda de los clientes dictaminó que la versión de cinco puertas era el camino a seguir, por lo que la Serie II de tres puertas no llegó a producirse.</p>
<p>5.- La perfecta visibilidad del conductor en todas las direcciones siempre ha sido un requisito de obligado cumplimiento en el <strong>Discovery</strong>, reforzado por la posición de conducción dominante. En el <strong>Discovery 4</strong>, nada menos que cinco cámaras ayudan al conductor a ver cualquier centímetro del vehículo mientras maniobra. Las imágenes de las cámaras, que pueden activarse a velocidades de hasta 18 km/h, son transmitidas a la pantalla de información instalada en el salpicadero.</p>
<p>6.- Los primeros modelos compartían los faros delanteros de la furgoneta <strong>Freight Rover</strong> y sus faros traseros eran semejantes a los de la<strong> Austin Maestro</strong> comercial. En un primer momento, se produjeron vehículos cuyos grupos ópticos traseros portaban el logotipo <strong>Austin-Rover</strong> que sería reemplazado por el óvalo de Land Rover tan pronto como se inició su producción en serie.</p>
<p>7.- Durante la fase de desarrollo del <strong>Discovery 3</strong>, se probaron un total de 75 prototipos en las cuatro esquinas del planeta para poner a prueba las excepcionales aptitudes de este galardonado vehículo, sometiéndolo a condiciones extremas con temperaturas superiores a 50ºC y por debajo de -30ºC.</p>
<p>8.- Los característicos motivos laterales del <strong>Discovery</strong> de tres puertas causaron impresión a finales de los ochenta y constituyen una seña distintiva de los primeros modelos. En 1992, fueron reemplazados y a partir de 1994 se retiraron progresivamente para reflejar las nuevas tendencias.</p>

<p>9.- El espíritu aventurero del <strong>Land Rover</strong> es recordado con frecuencia al mencionar el famoso <strong>Camel Trophy</strong>. Estas competiciones, celebradas en los años noventa, fueron testigo de cómo el Discovery acometió los &#8220;Juegos Olímpicos de los 4&#215;4”. Desde 1990 a 1997, se emplearon modelos especialmente preparados para transportar tripulación a bordo. En algunos países se vendieron ediciones limitadas <strong>Camel Trophy</strong>, modelos que todavía podemos ver hoy en nuestras carreteras.</p>

<p>10.- En 1993, <strong>Land Rover Special Vehicles</strong> utilizó una carrocería de tres puertas para crear el <strong>Discovery Comercial</strong> o la versión &#8220;furgoneta&#8221;. De versatilidad demostrada, se han producido versiones similares de la Series II, del <strong>Discovery 3</strong> y, ahora, del <strong>Discovery 4</strong> – todas ellas basadas en la carrocería de cinco puertas estándar.</p>
<p>11.- En 2008, con motivo de la conmemoración del 60º aniversario de <strong>Land Rover</strong>, fueron donados 60 vehículos a la Cruz Roja británica y sus sociedades hermanas en el resto del mundo. El <strong>Discovery 3</strong> era uno de esos vehículos que durante la ceremonia de entrega oficial, el día de 9 de julio, enarboló la bandera de la Cruz Roja en los jardines del Buckingham Palace.</p>

<p>12.- Entre las opciones de los primeros <strong>Discovery</strong> estaba disponible una bolsa de bandolera a juego con los asientos del vehículo que podía adaptarse en la consola central. Estas balsas son hoy codiciadas por los entusiastas de <strong>Land Rover</strong>.</p>
<p>13.- Desde su lanzamiento en 2004, el <strong>Discovery 3</strong> acumula en su palmarés nada menos que 111 galardones. Desde Rusia a México, el <strong>Discovery</strong> es el 4&#215;4 más apreciado por los conductores de todo el mundo.</p>
<p>14.- El <strong>Discovery 3</strong> y el <strong>Discovery 4</strong> están equipados con suspensión neumática independiente en las cuatro ruedas que brindan un confort de marcha superior y mejoran la capacidad tototerreno. Las dos primeras generaciones del Discovery montaban ejes rígidos con muelles helicoidales &#8211; aunque los modelos Serie II, altos de gama, estaban equipados con suspensión trasera neumática autonivelante.</p>

<p>15.- Los <strong>Discovery</strong> de primera generación más largos producidos por la factoría <strong>Land Rover</strong> utilizaban batalla de 116 pulgadas y estaban diseñados como ambulancias paramédicas de respuesta rápida.</p>
<p>16.- El <strong>Land Rover</strong> número 1 millón que abandonó la cadena de producción el 8 de mayo de 2007 fue un Discovery 3. Este vehículo fue donado a una de las principales sociedades patrocinadas por <strong>Land Rover</strong> -la Born Free Foundation- cuya fundadora, Joanna Lymley, se unió a los empleados de la compañía para celebrar este hito y aceptó las llaves en representación de esta sociedad altruista. El <strong>Discovery</strong> es utilizado como vehículo de &#8220;Rescate de Respuesta Rápida&#8221;.</p>

<p>17.- Entre 1994 y 1996, el <strong>Discovery</strong> se vendió en Japón como Honda Crossroad. Si bien portaba los distintivos del socio comercial de Range Group, era idéntico al producto estándar.</p>
<p>18.- El <strong>Discovery</strong> fue el primero de los vehículos <strong>Land Rover</strong> en el que se hizo un uso exhaustivo de la tecnología CAD. Su exterior fue totalmente reproducido mediante ordenador para probar el modelo y crear las herramientas necesarias. El interior se creó mediante CAD utilizando formato de malla de alambre.</p>
<p>19.- La luminosidad y espaciosidad han sido siempre señas distintivas del interior del <strong>Discovery</strong>. Las amplias ventanillas laterales así como las ventanillas Alpine del techo son una característica que se conserva desde los primeros modelos, complementada por el techo solar -opcional en los modelos iniciales y hoy parte del equipamiento de serie del <strong><a href="http://periodismodemotor.com/2009/09/08/precios-land-rover-discovery/" target="_blank">Discovery 4</a></strong>.</p>

<p>20.- El nombre codificado del proyecto <strong>Discovery</strong> era Project Jay. Debido a la política de asignación de códigos instaurada por Alan Edis para garantizar la protección de los prototipos, los proyectos se designaban por orden alfabético inspirándose en pájaros y otros animales.</p>

<p>Dia 31 de outubro, não apenas comemoramos meu aniversário de 34 primaveras como também celebramos oficialmente o pedido de casamento aceito em julho.</p>
<p>Famílias, padrinhos e muitos amigos reunidos numa festa que sempre ficará guardada em nossos corações como um dos nossos momentos mágicos.</p>

<p>Después de mucho hablar se ha llegado a la conclusión de que el premio del 4&#215;4 lo vamos a gastar en:</p>
<p>- Unos <a href="http://www.decathlon.es/ES/polares-travesia-hombre-4869859/#" target="_blank">polares de Quechua</a> a 7,90€ cada uno (7,90 x 13 = 102,70€) el color se elegirá a lo largo de la semana en una encuesta.</p>
<p>- Unos <a href="http://www.decathlon.es/ES/peto-verde-14525220/" target="_blank">petos</a> para entrenar en Rivabellosa 2,50€/unidad (2,50 x 5 = 12,50€)</p>
<p>- Tras comprar estas cosas siguen quedando 84,80€. ¡¡¡¡Se siguen necesitando sugerencias!!!!</p>

<title><![CDATA[A Debried on Dubai: Our First Field Trip]]></title>

<p>                A friendly suggestion: deodorant. </p>
<p>                Use it.  The hotter the climate, the more you need to employ deodorant.  (That means you Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and South Asia!)</p>
<p>                Contrary to popular belief, there should not be an inverse proportion of cologne to deodorant.  And, for those evil-doers who are slowly, surely and pungently killing the rest of us by wearing neither deodorant NOR cologne:  shame on you!</p>
<p>                Deodorant will make you new friends, allow you to become intimate with someone who will NEITHER be livestock NOR will pass out from your stench, and will suddenly make your intolerable lack of personal space more palatable.</p>
<p>                Deodorize now and you shall be odoriferously oppressed no longer!</p>

<p>                Economy class in this area of the world is de facto Snuffy class.  We made the mistake of ignoring Brian’s advice to fly business class and, effectively, chose to instead sit in the middle section, in the very rear of the plane, across from the bathroom and near several snuffies coughing up vital organs.  Eric slept while I imagined how many and what kind of bronchial infections I was due to acquire on-board.</p>
<p>                Stepping off the plane, we could already sense that we were not in Kansas anymore.  If Kuwait is modern, than Dubai is space-age!</p>
<p>                Having caught up over mezza until the wee hours of the morning, our 7am wake-up call was torture…as was my breakfast sammy which promised bacon, but delivered <em>Canadian</em> bacon – something that should just be called fried ham!</p>
<p>                The Emirates Golf Club was beautiful.  Having to live without for a few months, the mere sight of a fairway brought tears to my poor husband’s eyes.  Where the short rough ended, roughin’ it began.  The course designers used the natural desert to make each hole more challenging.  Unfortunately missing the fairway meant it would be like hitting out of the largest sandtrap in the WORLD!</p>
<p>                We played with a smelly British guy whose Swedish partner, Lars, we didn’t like very much.  We made up various rhymes about Lars:</p>
<p>                He lives on Mars.</p>
<p>                He plays sitars.</p>
<p>                As a pirate, he goes “Blars!”</p>
<p>                You know, the usual.</p>
<p>                Upon finishing golf, we met up with Brian, Georgia, and Georgia’s two sisters (heretofore referred to only as “the sisters”) back at the resort.  White sand, crystal clear water and people serving both towels and drinks… this place was too good to be true!  Despite our best efforts to increase personal density, we all wound up bobbing along in the super-salinated Arabian Gulf until I was prunier than a 1,000 year old woman.</p>
<p>                At 3:30pm, we departed from the resort for a six hour desert trek.  The desert in the Emirates is exactly how desert should look (go figure!): dune after dune after dune after dune of soft, golden (and red) sand.  After a brief stop to convene with the rest of the caravan and deflate tires, we all climbed back into the 4×4 where Georgia and I got the unlucky third row.  So, with our knees at our chins, we were off!  To where?  We had no idea.  And, why go around the dunes, when you can go over them, and drive perpendicular to the slope, and slide down them at 45 degree angles, and fishtail in unseen ditches…you know, drive like an average Kuwaiti.  These drivers have great jobs… how fabulous to freak out tourists and get paid for it?!</p>
<p>                Having already stopped twice to watch the sunset and explore a camel farm (they DO grow on trees!), we reached our final destination at a Bedouin camp.  The drivers cooked us dinner while Georgia, the sisters, and I all got henna tattoos.  We later concluded they look like birthmarks which <em>resemble</em> flowers, etc.  Oh well.  Ate some dinner, smoked some shisha, volunteered Eric to bellydance for group entertainments and headed home.</p>
<p>                And, what better way to top off the desert than with dessert!</p>
<p>                In short, Dubai was a blast.  It’s amazing what a little pork and alcohol will do for a place!</p>
