După cum vă informam ieri,  Tina Turner şi-a sărbătorit ziua în incinta hotelului Dolder Grand din Zurich. Pe ceas de seară, au apărut şi câteva informaţii în presa elveţiană despre eveniment, precum şi poza de mai sus, emisă de către reprezentanţii hotelului (pentru rezoluţie mai mare, click).

Iată pe scurt informaţiile prezentate de ziarul Blick, în ediţia sa electronică.

Tina a sosit la hotelul Dolder Grand la braţul iubitului său, Erwin Bach, la ora 19:36. Petrecerea a avut loc în încăperea numită “Garden Salon”, care a fost decorată cu buchete de orhidee. A fost proiectat un film care a marcat momente importante din viaţa Tinei Turner, fundalul fiind asigurat de hituri ca Proud Mary şi Nutbush City Limits.

Apoi, Tina a trecut la microfon şi a ţinut un scurt discurs, în care le-a mulţumit celor prezenţi pentru prietenia şi urările primite cu ocazia aniversării.

S-au servit patru feluri de mâncare, incluzând supa, friptura şi desertul, iar petrecerea a continuat până după miezul nopţii, cu dans şi voie bună.

Printre prietenii Tinei invitaţi la eveniment s-au aflat cântăreţul german Herbert Gronemeyer, omul de afaceri Michael Ringier, producătorul de film Arthur Cohn, directoarea Nestle, Carolina Muller-Mohl, fotograful Alberto Venzago şi alte personalităţi din ţara cantoanelor.

Cea de-a 70-a aniversare a Tinei Turner a fost sărbătorită pretutindeni, de la emisiuni speciale organizate la radiourile braziliene, reportaje şi concerte difuzate de televiziunile europene, până la flash-moburi organizate la Viena şi Koln. Însă fanii din întreaga lume i-au pregătit Tinei Turner o surpriză mai specială, planificată de mai bine de două luni.

Au realizat o felicitare comună, pe care fiecare fan participant la iniţiativă şi-a imprimat-o şi a putut să-şi noteze pe spatele ei mesajul, cu ocazia zilei de naştere. Toate felicitările au fost expediate într-un singur loc, în Elveţia, unde Monika Steiner, o altă fană, s-a ocupat de contabilizarea lor. Monika şi prietena ei, Sammy, s-au angajat să le livreze direct la reşedinţa Tinei din Zurich, în ziua de 26 noiembrie şi aşa s-a şi întâmplat.

După o lună de scrisori, au sosit la destinaţie 361 de felicitări din ţări de pe tot mapamondul. Fetele le-au legat cu fundiţă, le-au pus într-o pungă de cadouri şi în această dimineaţă au plecat spre Zurich. Ajunse în apropierea casei Tinei Turner, au avut norocul ca tocmai în acel moment să aibă loc o livrare de flori, preluată de unul dintre angajaţii de la reşedinţa cântăreţei, aşa că au profitat de ocazie şi au vorbit cu respectivul domn, care a avut amabilitatea să ducă felicitările direct în casă.

Sperăm ca cele 361 de urări să fi reprezentat o surpriză plăcută pentru Tina, un semn de iubire din partea celor care o admiră. (Printre felicitări s-au aflat şi două din România, una din partea mea şi una din partea unui alt fan, Vlad.)

Ca o ultimă informaţie, Tina şi-a sărbătorit ziua alături de invitaţii săi, în sala festivă a hotelului Dolder Grand.

Pe 26 noiembrie 1939, în Nutbush, Tennessee,  se năştea Anna Mae Bullock, una dintre marile cântăreţe ale planetei. Melodiile ei au ajuns să încânte generaţii, experienţa ei de viaţă inspiră milioane de oameni, talentul, dedicaţia şi energia ei  stabilesc noi standarde în industria muzicală.

Îi urez la mulţi ani Tinei Turner, să fie sănătoasă, să aibă parte numai de bucurii şi să-şi păstreze aceeaşi poftă de viaţă !

Îi dedic acest site, inaugurat chiar cu ocazia celei de-a 70-a aniversări. Sper ca în timp, acesta va reuşi să devină cea mai completă sursă românească de ştiri şi informaţii despre regina muzicii Rock ‘n’ Roll, un loc de întâlnire al fanilor români.

I wish Tina Turner a happy birthday, may she be healthy, may her life be full of joys and may she have the same lust for life as always !

Muchos recordaran lo chida que estaba la serie americana de That ’70s Show. Todos nos reiamos como idiotas de las pendejas ocurrencias del grupo de jovenes setenteros que no sabian que hacer con su vida. Personalmente, la considero una de las mas divertidas series que el pais de la hamburguesas ha parido. No como las que hacen ahora. Aburridos programas sin chiste alguna que se dedican a relatar la vida cotidiana de putas que se revuelcan con todo el elenco a la menor provocavcion (lease Grey, Sex & The City, Lost, L World ,etc).

Y tal vez todo tengamos tatuada en la memoria da Kitty, la alivianada y comprensiva esposa del neurotico, amargado e iracundo Ref  Forma. Interpretada por Debra Jo Rupp, Kitty trataba de poner algo de orden en el caos cotidiano, gracias a su paciencia y buena vibra (con risa estridente incluida). Sin embargo, toda mujer tiene su lado sexy (bueno, casi todas) y Kitty lo demostro cuando en un capitulo le modelo a su esposo su mejor vestido, dejando ver que aun conservaba una buenas piernas. ¡Ja, ja! Gracias señora Forman, demostro que en toda ama de casa se esconde una amante en potencia… la neta!!!

Otro grupo legendario del rock progresivo y sinfónico, una vez mas, de finales de los 60.

Los fantásticos Crimson, con el genio Robert Fripp que, además, colaboraba con otros grupos, sin ir mas lejos, los para mi insuperables “Van Der Graaf”, con este extraordinario tema de su album “ISLANDS” (1.971)  que cierra la que podriamos denominar primera etapa del grupo, inspirado por los viajes de algunos de los componentes del grupo a las Baleares en pleno auge del hippismo y psicodelismo en el archipielago. Un tema suave, muy lírico y dulce, por momentos de pura composición clásica , una creación extraordinaria.

Super recomendable, es algo para no perderse, otro de esos temas inmortales del maravilloso rock progresivo y sinfónico británico de aquellos tiempos que, aun hoy, no ha sido superado.

Omg, I haven’t logged on to Runescape at all today due to Call of Duty: Modern Warefare 2. Probably the best game I’ve played. The graphics, weapons, interface, everything is awesome about this game. The cost was about 70 dollars. I probably won’t log on to Runescape as much, but I won’t forget about my 91 runecrafting goal. I will log on for about 30 minutes a day to runecraft a little.

My thread is going pretty well. I have 32 supporters and growing. I am very thankful for my supporters! The more supporters I have, the more I will push myself. Thank you to all who support me!

Monday through Thursday at 7pm KIOA features an hour of the greatest hits of the 70’s.  The sponsoring client receives mentions throughout the week and in the “7 at the 70’s” feature.

Seventy fell upon one ‘SeanCassidy’ this weekend. I pondered the thought of making him a twink of sixty nine but that thought lasted a mere 18 seconds considering I have several others waiting to be leveled. Playing a Paladin maybe be cheap but it can be fun. First, you can wear anything. Second, you can pretty much ’survive’ world pvp encounters, by fighting with your 3 reset buttons or simply run away. You have the fastest land mounts ingame. I have ran away from at leat 2 dozen 10+ horde levels above me and lived to tell the tale by ‘bubble”ing and running.

Am I a ‘chicken shit’ for running? To me, yes. However, I have no intention of wasting time being killed over and over again by someone 10-20 levels higher than me. I do have big enough pvp balls to stand and fight when they are within 0-5 levels of me and I can pull the wins outta my ass when need be. I also will teabag who ever I kill at least 3 times. I find tea bagging 3 times to be just on the cusp of being douchbag but not enough to warrant being a complete ass. Complete ass is when you tea bag +5 and camp for more than 3 kills. Least in my book that’s how it works. I can’t take too much love when I win a world pvp encounter playing a Paladin, we are the epitome of ‘cheap’. No other class has so many reset buttons as we do. The only thing harder to kill is another Paladin.

I tanked my first instance with Sean too (I know it’s actually spelled “Shaun” but I like short names…I went to Auchindon with a pug who asked me politely (assuming it was a chick…) to tank for them just seconds from me logging in. Since I take ingame politeness with much more interest than rudeness I accepted even though I won’t benefit from the gear/xp, I did so knowing I can make up for my failness as being a tank in a lower instance. We did Mana Tombs. I got a little nervous but I did preface the run with the pug that my Paladin tanking cherry is about to be busted bright red. We did just fine. No wipes, heals were good and our DPS was fantastic. Our mage left pre-last boss fight then I got DC’d ironically  and when I cam back they had all left. I chalked it up as a win. My HP with buff is around 12k, not bad for a 70. I was near top of charts (2nd) in DPS for tank too–. Hard to beat mages….in dps.

Anywhoo, my long hours and efforts to get Sean ‘up’ there are finally paying off as I get to learn a new class in both specs: Tank/DPS and meeting more new people with pugs. After Sean hits 80 it will finally be time for Wookieluv to hit 80, then I can be among the lazy ass DPS players and be leet. ish.

Alo and I watched “V” last night vis HULU and it was actually not bad sans the FBI’s son being an Obama..errrr…”Visitor” kool-aid drinker and his over acting. I haven’t read the background for the writer, director but it was interesting seeing 2 Firefly actors – the on board ‘entertainment’ and the ‘pilot’…tho I called the pilot being an lizard just before the raid– get’s killed off in the first episode.

I plan on watching the series as I loved the Original in the 1980’s– at least the first few episodes before it became predictable.

I like the writers point of making it aligned with Obama and his Admin with Health Care, Global issues, economy and it’s overall feel of ‘1984′. Kudos. I did make a photoshop mockup of Obama last year…predicting he was a Lizard…   kiss it Nostradamus! Kiss it long and hard.

My wish for the remaining 2009….Hulu on the iPhone.
