প্রাথমিক মনোনয়নের পর ইন্টারনেট ভোটে ২২২টি দেশের ২৬১টি প্রাকৃতিক স্থান দ্বিতীয় পর্বে উত্তীর্ণ হয়েছে। এর মধ্যে ৩৯টি স্থান একাধিক দেশে অবস্থিত, যেমন সুন্দরবন। দ্বিতীয় পর্বে স্থানগুলোকে ভৌগোলিক গঠনগত বৈশিষ্ট্য অনুযায়ী সাতটি দলে ভাগ করা হয়েছে। কাল ভোট গ্রহণ শেষ হলে গণনা ও নিরীক্ষার পর ভোটে এগিয়ে থাকা সাত গ্রুপের ৭৭টি স্থানের তালিকা প্রকাশ করা হবে ৯ জুলাই।
 
জনপ্রিয়তার দিক থেকে এগিয়ে থাকা ৭৭টি স্থান নিয়ে নিউ সেভেন ওয়ান্ডার্স ফাউন্ডেশনের বিশেষজ্ঞ বিচারকমণ্ডলী বিচার বিশ্লেষণে বসবেন। তাঁদের দেওয়া নম্বরের ভিত্তিতে ৭৭টি স্থানের মধ্যে ২৮টি স্থানকে চূড়ান্তপর্বে উন্নীত করা হবে। আগামী ২১ জুলাই গ্রিনিচ মান সময় দুপুর ১২টার কিছু পরে চূড়ান্ত পর্বের জন্য নির্বাচিত স্থানগুলোর নাম ঘোষণা করা হবে। এরপর ২০১১ সাল পর্যন্ত আবার চলবে ভোট গ্রহণ। এরপর ২০১১ সালের মাঝামাঝি সময়ে শীর্ষ সাতটি স্থানের নাম ঘোষণা করা হবে প্রাকৃতিক সপ্তাশ্চর্য হিসেবে।
 
নির্বাচন প্রক্রিয়ার একেবারে শুরু থেকে শক্ত অবস্থানে থাকার কারণে বাংলাদেশের কক্সবাজার ও সুন্দরবনের পক্ষে এখন শেষ মুহূর্তের প্রচার চলছে ঢাকা, চট্টগ্রাম, খুলনা, বাগেরহাট, কক্সবাজারসহ দেশের বিভিন্ন জায়গায়। এসব জায়গায় উৎসবমুখর পরিবেশে দেশের জন্য ভোট দিচ্ছেন সব বয়সী মানুষ।
 
কেননা দীর্ঘদিন ধরেই নিজ নিজ গ্রুপে শীর্ষ পাঁচে অবস্থান করছে এই দুই মনোনয়ন। বর্তমানে জি গ্রুপে (সমুদ্র) ২ নম্বরে আছে কক্সবাজার এবং ই গ্রুপে (বন, জাতীয় উদ্যান, অভয়ারণ্য) ৪ নম্বরে আছে সুন্দরবন। শীর্ষ ৭৭-এ থাকতে পারলে ২১ জুলাই অপেক্ষা করতে হবে বিচারকদের ঘোষণা পর্যন্ত।

The Great Wall of China has some parts that are really worth visiting.

• Check out the best sites. There are at least 8 really good parts to visit: 1. Badaling, 八达岭 (eight prominent peaks); 2. Juyong Guan, 居庸關 (common dwelling pass); 3. Mutianyu, 慕田峪; 4. Simatai, 司马台; 5. Jinshanling, 金山岭 (gold mountain); 6. Huanghuacheng, 黃花城 (yellow flower town); 7. Gubeikou, 古北口 (old northern entrance); and 8. Jiankou, 箭口 (arrow entrance).
• See Badaling. It was the first part to be opened to tourists and is very well preserved. The United Nations made this a world heritage site in 1987. You will count 19 watchtowers at Badaling if you walk the 5 kilometer expanse. Expect to see many tourist gimmicks here which is an attraction in itself unless that sort of thing bothers you. Badaling is the most accessible Great Wall site.
• See Juyong Guan. (Common Dwelling Pass). This part of the wall comes before Badaling. It is where Genghis Khan was held back by the Jin defenders until he found a secret passageway.
• See Mutianyu. This one has 22 beacon towers and you can get a great view by taking the cable car to the top.
• See Simatai. It is a UNESCO world heritage site and has a cable car and 35 beacon towers. It has not been restored, so be careful of the crumbling structures.
• See Huanghuacheng. This is a good hiking destination. It is best for those who do not mind isolation and some hiking in precarious places.

To access the website at http://www.natural7wonders.com, you will see the nominations of the world’s natural wonders, including “Ha Long Bay, Vietnam” and other wonders around the world.

- Click the mouse button on “Nomination” to start voting. Here, you will see a board which requests all the necessary information.

 - “Your details”, you need to provide personal information including:

 * Your Email address

 * Confirm your Email address.

 * Country:

 ”Nomination details” is the main request. Under the regulations, nominee will have to select a maximum of seven natural sites from 1 to 7 and the first natural site is obligatory. Moreover, you have to choose the category of the natural site.

Truy cập vào website www.natural7wonders.com, bạn sẽ thấy danh sách tham khảo các kỳ quan tự nhiên của thế giới, trong đó có “Ha Long Bay, Vietnam” cùng nhiều kỳ quan khác. Tiến hành bầu chọn theo các bước sau:

- Nhấn tiếp vào “Normination” để bắt đầu bầu chọn. Tại đây, bạn sẽ thấy một bảng bầu chọn yêu cầu nhập các thông tin cần thiết.

 - Phần đầu tiên là “Your details”, bạn cần cung cấp thông tin cá nhân tại đây. Bao gồm:
