Almost every modern piano has 36 black keys and 52 white keys for a total of 88 keys (seven octaves plus a minor third, from A0 to C8). Many older pianos only have 85 keys (seven octaves from A0 to A7), while some manufacturers extend the range further in one or both directions.

Soul Culture, an extremely kept together blog over in the UK caught up with 88 Keys recently, and grilled him about his favorite verse. In general Soul Culture does an extremely good job of providing a comprehensive look into their subject matter, and their sit down with 88 Keys was no different.

Personally my favorite verse of all time was Wiz Khalifa’s second verse on “Pittsburgh Sound” off his debut album, Show and Prove. Scope the video for that track, along with the lyrics, post jump. While judging my choice, speak on yours. The comment box is there for a reason, son.
