We all eat. A dietitian will tell you it’s simple: Mix together water with carbohydrates, protein and a little fat, and you’ve got  a complete meal. Yet for many cultures, it’s so much more complex (and fun) than that. Take the bland, ho-hum potato. You sure don’t want to eat it raw, but wow: Human ingenuity means we’ve managed to make it one of our most-craved and most-used foods. And don’t get us started when it comes to chocolate. Or strawberries. Or steak. Or cupcakes. Or pasta…
