Abba daddy told me something on Saturday morning, He wanted me to check up 2Cor9:10,11 again and He wants me to pen it down and to share here with all of you…

there is no plural in the word “seed”

if there is no plural, then the word “seed” in this verse refers to the seed of Abraham who is none other than our Lord Jesus.

now read this beautiful verse again … and substitue the word seed with the word Jesus!

2Cor910Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.
 

11You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.

Now the Father who gives His Son Jesus to us the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase our understanding and appreciation of  Jesus and will enlarge the harvest (the rewards of knowing we are righteous before the Almighty God, the blessings, the power, the glory, the wisdom) of our righteousness. 

And the result is, we will be made rich in every way so that we can be generous on every occasion, and through the blessed recipients our generosity (sharing Christ,  willingness to reach out, spending our time, sharing with others) will result in thanksgiving to God.

Jesus will be magnified more and more, our Heavenly Father will increase our understanding and appreciation of our Lord Jesus, our frequent and constant exposure to Him will result in us walking in His Power greater and greater in our lives.

Blessed so that we can be a blessing.

Now Abba, EVERYTHING falls into place, thank You for helping me put Jesus into the equation.   Truly You are ingenious!  Praise You!

you may be able to tell how many seeds an apple has … but can never tell how many apples one seed can have … that is if you sow the seed of course …

I can also say it this way, we can often tell how much we have in our bank account(s) … but we can never tell how much our seeds of giving can fetch us …

last night 2 verses that I cherished in my heart came back to me  …

Good news, our church is going to have a new building! 

It will be ready in year 2011!

this is a very unique building,

Currently. our church has a total of  about 16,000 worshippers on Sunday … we have four services  … this figure includes infants and children as well as the elderly ones …

already our overflow rooms are bursting with full capacities … even the newly opened ones are FULL!

this is quite a challenge … our pastor declared about breaking forth to the left and the right just at the start of last year … and before the year was over, we broke forth taking over the cinema theatres for our first service, all 3 theatres … and this year we broke forth into another gallery right over the other side of the commercial cluster of buildings … totally a different building from the main auditorium service … people just don’t mind watching “live” telecast service …

those that indeed find their way into the auditorium for the first service are those who make an extra effort to come very early to queue up … my friend told me she came around 5.30am for the 9am service to get choice front seats … I certainly cannot wake up so early … and I don’t mind watching “live” telecast in one of our 6 overflow rooms …

4 English services on Sunday … and each service we can have about 3200 worshippers per main service… this is excluding the toddlers and infants and children …

our Chinese and Hokkien (Chinese dialect) service currently has about 3000 worshippers … the largest in Singapore!  

 we are bursting to the seams ! 

Praise God He has prepared for us a very high tech building… it is not just a house of worship … a shopping complex … and a performing arts choice venue as well … seating capacity about 7000 inclusive of all the overflow rooms … main auditorium sits 5200 …

this building comes complete with 1000 car park lots !  and it is located in the cross roads of 2 main MRT stations … the West Line and the Circle line (operational soon) …

what a choice venue … most importantly it is near our place!

Praise the Lord!

and it costs a whopping $280million (sgd) just for the theatre, arts and performance centre alone … together with the retail mall the price tag of the whole building is $660million!

okay … i am not collecting offering here …

I have had 2 other previous church building experiences … and I can testify that God is indeed prospering me with every building project of His!

the seed that He puts in my heart to sow is the 10 percent, He usually gives me 100 percent and the 90% is my bread and more seed for the harvests!

I love the faith figures that He showed me … huge amounts that I am not able to fork out myself … it takes Jesus ‘ faith… Jesus’ faith is my seed … and yet in a very short time … He met them … less than 6months to be exact … and usually miraculously!

huge figures … I am asking Him for what figure to sow this time …

Abba, many times we Your children do not know what is seed and what is bread, and how to sow and where to sow … Guide us by Your grace for Your glory.  There may be seed timmmmmmmmme … and then the harvest …
but sometimes the time between the seedtime and harvest can be amazingly short … guide Your children we pray … as Your Word says … we are blessed coming in and blessed going out …You blessed all the work of our hands …
it will indeed accomplish its purpose for us Your beloved children and will never return to You void.

by the way, in Hebrew the word “rich” ashar  is just one alphabet short of the word “tithe” ma-aser
