Miami Oct. 29, 2012 — Pan Am International Flight Academy recently completed a successful exhibition as a key exhibitor and presenter at CAATS in Sanya, China, the Civil Aviation Administration of China’s first Ab-Initio Training Symposium.

The CAATS Summit experienced a crowd of over 300 key aviation professionals and airline executives, as well as senior CAAC officials who addressed China’s exploding demand for trained pilots and the need for fast development of reliable flight training programs and facilities. Although meeting the demands for well-trained pilots is a global issue, there is a particular urgency in meeting China’s internal needs.

Pan Am International Flight Academy participated in the Summit as one of a handful of training academies with CAAC Certification, providing training to the region through their training partner, Panda Fight Academy in Tokyo, Japan.

Mr. Gregory Darrow, Senior Director of Sales and Marketing for Pan Am was in attendance, and summarized: “ There was an huge amount of energy and anticipation for this show, organized by the Chinese who are very committed to increase their capacity to field qualified pilots and meet their demands. We are pleased that Pan Am was received so enthusiastically because of our training options and capabilities in the region.”

The company received strong attention from Asian carriers interested in their core competencies and Asian training solutions including CAAC Type Rating programs, Airline Crew Training, Cabin Crew, Dispatcher, Aircraft Maintenance, ATC, and Aviation English Training. In addition, the training academy has the most diverse fleet of full-motion simulators in the world, and offers B737-300, B737NG, B747-400, B767-300, B777, and A320 full-motion simulators for booking immediately in Tokyo.

Pan Am owns and operates training facilities throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia, offering a comprehensive list of customized training programs—and traces its training heritage to the earliest days of aviation.

Visit: http://www.PanAmAcademy.com for additional information.
To learn more about the EATS 2012 event, visit: http://halldale.com/eats-2012

October 12, 2011 — Denver Pan Am International Flight Academy, Denver, was recently awar

October 12, 2011 — Denver Pan Am International Flight Academy, Denver, was recently awarded the Export Achievement Certificate by the Denver office of the U.S. Commercial Services Division, a branch of the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Pan Am joined the ranks of an elite group of Export Achievement Certificate recipients. This prestigious award is presented to Denver enterprises that successfully enter the international marketplace.
"We don't give out many of these awards," stated Danielle Blakely, Senior International Trade Specialist of U.S. Commercial Service Denver. "The Export Achievement Certificate is reserved for exceptional companies like Pan Am. In fact, we've only given out one other certificate this year," comments Blakely.

Pan Am was recognized for increased international sales of flight training services. “Their international sales are impressive,” states Blakely. To know just how exceptional Pan Am is, consider the following in light of the impact their international clients have on the local economy:

	• Pan Am International Flight Academy’s Denver location has trained the following foreign airlines this year:

	 - Aerolineas Argentinas –training over 50 Boeing 747-400 Type Rating Pilot Crews, under a contract worth $2 Million dollars, with students buying over 2,000 nights of hotel bookings in Denver.

-Philippine Airlines – Type Rating Airbus 320 Crews in Denver under a long-term training contract including at least 4 crews per month at $25,000 per crew.

-Transaero – Russia’s largest Airlines. Pan Am trained Transaero pilots in partnership with Boeing. Boeing would have lost this international sale had Pan Am not been able to offer a Colorado Boeing type rating solution.

	• Pan Am’s Denver training center is the preferred training location for Type Rating Boeing 757 crews from the Royal New Zealand Air Force. This long-standing relationship has generated hundreds of training events in Denver. The Kiwi pilots love training in Denver for the summer festivities and the world class skiing in the winter and spend up to two additional weeks in Colorado for every training event.

	• The Sultan of Dubai operates his own exclusive private airline and can train anywhere in the world, but chooses to train his crews with Pan Am Denver. The Dubai Airwing has been training in Denver for over 15 years and stays at the most exclusive high-end Denver hotels.

	• Pan Am International Flight Academy’s 2011 estimated sales budget is $35 million dollars, of which approximately 20 million in sales comes from outside the country. A sampling of offerings include type ratings, flight attendant training, dispatcher, and air traffic controller training programs.

Pan Am sales have so significantly impacted Denver's economy that Congresswoman Diana DeGette personally presented the certificate to Pan Am officials in collaboration with Paul Bergman, Director of U.S. Commercial Services Denver.

The company is willing to provide additional information and interviews.

Sept 19, 2011, MIAMI – Pan Am International Flight Academy is a scheduled stop for the much anticipated “Worldwide Family Reunion” of former Pan Am Employees being held October 20 – 23, 2011 in Miami, Florida.

Former employees, friends and family of Pan Am International Flight Academy’s founding airline, Pan American Airways, affectionately known as Pan Am, together with aviation aficionados from all over the globe and every division of the company, are expected to attend the reunion being held in the Dinner Key/Coconut Grove area of Miami. Attendees will be celebrating the Centennial of Aviation in Miami as they honor the enormous part the airline played in shaping aviation history while also marking 20 years since the close of one of the country’s most iconic pioneering companies.

Interest in “Pan Am” is at an all-time high. Along with the noteworthy rise and continued success of the former airline’s only remaining division, Pan Am International Flight Academy – providing training solutions worldwide, there is the much-anticipated ABC network television series “Pan Am,” and the musical “Catch Me If You Can” is now running on Broadway.

Pan Am International Flight Academy president Vito Cutrone enthusiastically welcomes former fellow employees: “…In many ways we are all part of a very special family with an aviation legacy second to none… Speaking of his own personal experience as a former Pan Am Airways pilot, managing director and head of its training division, Mr. Cutrone said: “…Working for Pan Am was an amazing experience! It wasn’t unusual to be treated as if you were the U. S. Ambassador to the country you happened to be in…. such was the respect the airline had throughout the world.” Pan Am intends to receive this special group with open arms and provide tours of its facilities and operations, which include over 19 different types of full-flight jet simulators.

The Pan Am Airways Memorabilia Store located within Pan Am International Flight Academy campus at the Miami International Airport, features a combination of original items, reproductions and new products adorned with the Pan Am logo that are difficult to find anywhere else. The Staff of the Pan Am Store are all original Pan Am employees and have a wealth of knowledge about the airline.

Other reunion events include a “Hangar Party,” to be held in the historic Coast Guard Hangar on the shores of Biscayne Bay in Dinner Key which the original Pan Am Clippers once called home during its pioneering days of aviation, as well as tours of the special exhibit “Aviation in Miami: The First 100 Years” at HistoryMiami in downtown Miami.
