Completely hand-bound pages stitched onto the cover with black cotton thread by using the 3-Hole-Sewn Pamphlet Bookbinding Technique. These pocket size journals fit nicely in a pocket or purse, perfect to carry around at all times since they are fairly light and soft. They are really handy for your notes, drafts, lists and scribbles. The only difference between the traditional Pamphlet Bookbinding and this version is the location of the binding at the top of the book, and the cover that flips opens at the top.</p>

It&#8217;s pretty much the same as any other Burst, except our hearts are filled with the unique form of adrenaline brought on by massive amounts of Thanksgiving food, Black Friday debt, and ChristmuHanuKwanzaa excitement/stress. So you&#8217;ll excuse us if we occasionally pause to scream our heads off.</p>
<p>Our first gift this holiday season, however, comes from the good folks at Lamborghini. According to company sources speaking to <a href="http://www.carsuk.net/lamborghini-urus-the-fx70-killer/" target="_blank">CarsUK.net</a>, Lambo is summoning up their very own hypercar capable of competing with the Ferrari Enzo and the rest of the highest echelon of automotive performance. Rumor has it the car, which will be based off the Murcielago-replacing Jota, will be named Urus, after the enormous primordial ancestor of modern cattle. (That&#8217;s not a joke.)</p>

<p>While the Jota&#8217;s suspected 700+ horsepower 6.0 liter V12 and carbon fiber/aluminum chassis mean it probably won&#8217;t be much of a slouch, the Urus should blow it away, thanks to intensive weight-reducing strategies and the introduction of an 800+ horsepower V12. Price hasn&#8217;t been announced, but if you&#8217;re hoping for less than half a million bucks, you&#8217;d be better off praying for JFK&#8217;s resurrection.</p>
<p>But while Lamborghini is trying to out-muscle Ferrari&#8217;s old hypercars, the folks in Maranello are working on something quite different. The company confirmed last month they are developing an electric-powered all-wheel-drive system for their future vehicles.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s right, folks. Not only will the Ferrari of Tomorrow have four-wheel-drive&#8230;it&#8217;ll be a <em>hybrid.</em></p>

We just wanted to look at it again.</p></div>
<p>Company insiders told <a href="http://www.autocar.co.uk/News/NewsArticle/Ferrari-612-Scaglietti/244533/" target="_blank">AutoCar</a> the system&#8217;s first use will be driving the front wheels of the company&#8217;s front-engined GTs, effectively giving each axle a separate powertrain &#8211; the electric motor up front, and a gasoline-powered V12 powering the rear. But the system is designed to improve handling and acceleration, not fuel economy &#8211; so we don&#8217;t have to worry about Ferrari drivers getting all smug or anything.</p>
<p>The system will probably first be used in the successor to the 612, which will probably be breaking cover sometime in the next year or two. Don&#8217;t expect to see any hybrid Ferraris on the streets until 2014 or so, which still sounds ridiculously futuristic whenever we think about it. When they do come, the hybrid system will probably add a hefty tithe to the Monroney &#8211; but if you can afford a four-seat Ferrari, you probably ain&#8217;t too worried about it.</p>
<p>Speaking of mansion-priced cars, Rolls-Royce is hoping to take the wraps off an electric version of its Phantom uber-sedan sometime in the next year or so, also according to <a href="http://www.autocar.co.uk/News/NewsArticle/Rolls-Royce-Phantom/245184/" target="_blank">AutoCar</a>. The Powers That Be at Rolls want to have the car on the road by 2012, in time for the London Olympics &#8211; which, entirely coincidentally, happen to be sponsored by Rolls-Royce&#8217;s parent company, BMW!</p>

<p>Rolls employees claim they aren&#8217;t particularly concerned about the added mass of the lithium-ion batteries needed to hold the car&#8217;s juice, as the conventional Phantom already pushes three tons. And while you could certainly argue a 6,000 pound sedan decorated with twenty-seven cows&#8217; worth of leather and more wood than a freshman class trip to the Playboy Mansion is hardly eco-friendly, don&#8217;t bother telling the electric Rolls&#8217; owners &#8211; because while they can certainly hear you, they just don&#8217;t care.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re in the market for a more modest luxury sedan, however, there&#8217;s no need to fret. BMW and Audi both have unveiled the newest members of their families in the last couple weeks &#8211; BMW brought out its new 5-series, while Audi rolled out the new A8.</p>
<p>First up: the 5, which continues BMW&#8217;s recent trend back towards more conventional styling. The &#8220;flame surfacing&#8221; of the Bangle years admittedly remains, but at least the front end no longer appears surprised and the rear no longer frustrated.</p>

<p>Here in the States, only two models will be available at launch &#8211; the 550i, powered by a 407-horsepower version of Bimmer&#8217;s blissful turbocharged 4.4-liter V8, and the 535i, which comes with the latest turbocharged, 306-horsepower version of the company&#8217;s equally sweet 3.0-liter inline six. The best-selling-yet-least-arousing 528i will arrive a couple months later; however, BMW makes up for it by boosting power to 258 horses and 228 lb-ft of torque &#8211; gains of 28 for both figures over the current models. ZF&#8217;s new eight-speed automatic comes standard on the 550i, and optional on the six-cylinder models.</p>

<p>After debating it over several rounds of drinks at the local bar, we here at CCO ultimately came down in favor of the new 5er&#8217;s looks. (Also, we unanimously agreed that &#8220;Livin&#8217; On A Prayer&#8221; is, like, the greatest song in human history.) While it seems almost a tad forgettable from certain angles (at least in pictures), it certainly bears a strong resemblance to the 3- and 7-series &#8211; and given that that was presumably the idea, it&#8217;s safe to call this one a success.</p>

<p>However, we aren&#8217;t particularly fond of the look of Audi&#8217;s new A8.  From the front, the car seems oddly reminiscent of the current Hyundai Sonata, and the LED running lights &#8211; which lend the A4/A5 family a futuristic strength, like the glowing eyes of Iron Man &#8211; angle down in just the wrong place, giving the A8 a strange resemblance to Droopy Dog. Audi is trumpeting the new A8 as the front line of its new designed theme, dubbed &#8220;Vorsprung durch Technik;&#8221; while our German is a little rusty, we can only assume said phrase translates to, &#8220;Let&#8217;s just make the A4 bigger and go pound a beer.&#8221;</p>

<p>Thankfully, though, the interior looks like all you&#8217;d expect and more from Audi&#8217;s most luxurious model. The design is beautiful, and while we&#8217;ve heard some mixed opinions on the Interwebs about the A8&#8217;s handlebar shifter, we rather like it. And considering that shifter connects to the same eight-speed automatic as in the 5-series &#8211; and that the transmission connects all four wheels to a 372-horsepower 4.2 liter V8 &#8211; the A8 ought to be a pretty sweet drive for such a large car.</p>

<p>Of course, if you&#8217;re not thrilled with the A8&#8217;s styling and are willing to sacrifice a bit of space for it, Audi will be more than willing to take a deposit on their upcoming A7 four-door-coupe. According to <a href="http://www.autocar.co.uk/News/NewsArticle/Audi-Concepts/245408/" target="_blank">AutoCar</a>, the long-rumored A6-based pseudo-coupe will be unveiled at the Moscow Auto Show in August 2010.</p>
<p>When the A7 hits the U.S. streets sometime in late 2010 or early 2011 to engage the Mercedes-Benz CLS and BMW X6 in a Teutonic battle of &#8220;Bizarro-world coupes,&#8221; expect it to come equipped with similar engines to the A6 &#8211; naturally aspirated and supercharged V-6s, and if Audi&#8217;s feeling generous and gas is still cheap, the 372-hp V8 from the A8. According to Audi design director Stefan Sielaff, there will even be an S7 &#8211; likely featuring a turbo/supercharged V8 &#8211; for those of you who like testing the patience of law enforcement.</p>

<p>Rumor has it U.S. prices should start somewhere around $46,000, but since the A6 starts at $45,200, we wouldn&#8217;t be surprised to see the A7 on the painful side of $50K when it hits our shores. Mercedes and BMW both charge significantly more for their faux coupes than the sedans/SUVs they&#8217;re based on, so Audi will probably follow the same logic &#8211; even if AutoCar claims there will only be a &#8220;small price premium.&#8221;</p>
<p>But while Audi is chopping up the higher end of the luxury car market into ever-smaller slices, BMW wants to slot yet another model into its rapidly burgeoning M line. According to <a href="http://www.autocar.co.uk/News/NewsArticle/BMW-1-Series/244598/#" target="_blank">AutoCar</a> (who seem to have more anonymous sources than Seymour Hersh), someone in BMW&#8217;s high-performance division claims creating a more affordable model to slot in under the M3 is a top priority.</p>

<p>Details are few and far between at this point, but since the car would be based on the next-gen 1-series, there&#8217;s plenty of time for info to leak out. However, we do know two things: the car will (hopefully) be priced in the mid-$40K range, and BMW may dust off the old M1 badge for it. We&#8217;ve got our fingers crossed for a 365+ horsepower version of the company&#8217;s turbo I6 under the hood&#8230;</p>
<p>Of course, if Audi and BMW are hard at work crafting fun new toys for us to play with, the good folks at Mercedes-Benz can&#8217;t be far behind. In this case, rumor has it the company is working on whipping up a smaller sports car based on the new SLS.</p>

<p>According to <a href="http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=20971" target="_blank">PistonHeads</a>, the new model would be designed to compete against the Porsche 911. The &#8216;Heads claim the follow-up to the SLS &#8211; can we call it the SaLT? &#8211; will use a V8 of somewhere between 5.8 and 6.2 liters, complete with cylinder cut-off. Given that AMG spent a shit-ton of cash developing its current 6.2 liter engine and said engine has proven suitable in everything from C-class compacts to R-class megawagons, it&#8217;s probably safe to assume the Salt will just use a revised version of that engine. Expect to see the finished product in about five years.</p>
<p>Finally, we have another piece of tragic supercar news to round out this update. After a year of service, the Italian State Police&#8217;s Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 was totaled a couple weeks ago near the northern city of Cremona. Thankfully, neither of the officers inside were injured when the Lambo swerved to avoid a car and slammed into a group of parked vehicles.</p>

<p>Before the accident, the Gallardo was primarily used to provide rapid response to accidents and for high-speed organ transport &#8211; because while a helicopter might be faster, the doctors wouldn&#8217;t be able to say, &#8220;They&#8217;re driving your new heart here in a Lamborghini.&#8221; No word yet on whether Lamborghini will replace the vehicle, but here&#8217;s hoping they will. In fact, here&#8217;s hoping automakers here in the States decide to follow suit and donate some choice vehicles to our local police forces. How &#8217;bout a couple Corvette ZR1s for the Michigan State Troopers?</p>

Contrariando aos que diziam que o A7 era apenas uma especulação, novas imagens sobre os futuros modelos da Audi foram feitas nas últimas semanas. Em algumas, publicadas só agora pelos fotógrafos da KGP, nota-se que o sedã-cupê de luxo da fabricante das quatro argolas existe mesmo. Ele foi flagrado dentro de uma unidade da marca na Alemanha.</p>
<p><!--more-->O visual do modelo remete pouco ao que já foi mostrado e projetado nos últimos tempos. Ele também passa um pouco distante do mais conservador A8. Seu estilo remete ao conceito Sportback, ainda que traga linhas mais suaves em partes como o para-choque. No entanto, há detalhes únicos como a queda do teto, as janelas laterais sem moldura e os retrovisores, redesenhados em relação ao conceito.</p>
<p>Considerando-se o avançado estágio de desenvolvimento do modelo, não estranharemos se ele for lançado em janeiro (Salão de Detroit) ou março (Salão de Genebra). O evento americano tem vantagem por ser onde o conceito apareceu pela primeira vez. No entanto, o segundo pode ser o palco de apresentação caso algum atraso nos retoques finais aconteça.</p>

<p>Toda a imprensa mundial especializada está a procura da nova geração do Audi A8, mostrado aqui ontem, e que chegará ao público no próximo dia 30. Pois é, de tanto procurar um achou o outro. A agência alemã KGP descobriu o A7, um modelo inédito que deve chegar somente em 2010 ao mercado.</p>
<p>O carro será um sportback, ou um quatro portas com traseira curta. No melhor estilo do recém  lançado BMW Série 5 GT. O carro é baseado no Audi Sportback Concept, mostrado em janeiro deste ano no Salão de Detroit. Além de brigar com a BMW a Audi pretende que o A7 seja a sua resposta para o Mercedes-Benz CLS, que fez tanto sucesso ao iniciar a categoria cupê esportivo de quatro portas.</p>

<p>As fotografias deste flagrante mostram muito do que será o A7. A dianteira, por exemplo, terá um conjunto óptico semelhante ao que será estreado no novo A8, com a borda da lente levemente rebaixada. A grade dianteira continuará grande, como já é característica na marca, e levará os quatro anéis.</p>
<p>A lateral do carro é o que mais chama a atenção, pela diferença. Preste atenção na caída do teto em direção da traseira. É bem acentuada e forma um bico no final. Tudo isso, por causa da traseira que é curta.</p>

<p style="text-align:left;">Por causa da configuração do carro, repare o tamanho da abertura do porta malas. Gigantesco. O final da lateral me chamou a atenção por lembrar um pouco a lateral do Honda City. O que acham? Devaneio da minha parte?</p>
<p style="text-align:left;">Nestas imagens só não dá para saber como ficará a traseira do carro. De toda forma gostei da proposta, diferente e até certo ponto ousada. Ainda mais para um marca que costuma fazer carros totalmente parecidos.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>We made a mad dash last night to one of Rugby Union&#8217;s hallowed grounds in Scotland, Netherdale. Netherdale is the home of Gala RFC (that&#8217;s Galashiels to the uninitiated) but was also the home of the Border Reivers pro team until 2007 when the SRU closed them down to save money.</p>
<p>Never having been to Gala before &#8211; that&#8217;s right,  never &#8211; I had to get Jane my Sat Nav friend to help with the journey. 1h 32m she said for 72 miles.</p>
<p>Quite apart from the apparent sheer madness to anyone who is not rugby daft of travelling 72 miles each way on a cold, and  potentially dangerous night in November to see a game, there was the environmental stuff to consider; the fact that today I&#8217;m going to see Australia (or the wallabies as they are more affectionately known) play at Murrayfield; and the domestic issues that arise out of Rugby. Anyhow we set off at 5.45 and landed straight into M8 rush hour traffic on the way to Edinburgh. I kept my cool but as the indicator on the SatNav turned red and stayed red, I began to wonder if we would be on time; get parked and even have time to see the game!.</p>
<p>We got to the end of the City Bypass and jumped onto the A7. Now I could see why it was going to take us so long. Although an A road, the A7 is a one lane of traffic in each direction kind of road, passing through some small towns with 30 and 40 limits and threats of cameras but actually none. We motored on quite well until about 16 miles from Gala and then we ended up behind some pure slowcoach who insisted at slowing down at every bend no matter how &#8220;not-sharp&#8221; it was, who managed to do a poor attempt at 35mph just about all the way on the straight roads and managed to build up a queue, as far as I could see in my mirrors,  of  about a mile behind us. No doubt all going to the match. Why else would so many people be going to Gala at 7pm on a Friday night?</p>
<p>Anyhow we got there with Sat Nav Jane showing -16 minutes which meant we arrived at 7.15. We got a space in the college car park nearby to the ground and walked a short distance to the match. The ground was almost at capacity &#8211; maybe apart from the ends, and with hot drink and burger in hand joined in the National Anthem and watched the haka. This was Tonga&#8217;s European tour year</p>
<p>The match was a pleasure to watch from our vantage point just at the point where the teams go onto the field and we were a mere 3 metres from the coaching teams and the pitch edge. A totally different experience and one which reminded me of my trip to Greenock Wanderers a year or two ago.</p>
<p>We played a fast game and although we allowed Tonga to get a try in the final minute, we pulled off a just victory.</p>
<p>Our journey home was at a more respectable speed and without any sloth drivers in front and we maintained an average of 50 on the A7 which is its correct speed and arrived back home tired but happy as all the books say, to a plate of homemade lasagne and Corrie on catchup TV.</p>

Desta vez, o modelo foi fotografado em estradas do sul do estado americano da Califórnia por um leitor do <em>AutoBlog</em>. O sedã, amplamente camuflado, deverá ser lançado no ano que vem.</p>
<p><!--more-->O estilo empregado no sedã remete aos últimos veículos da marca. A lanterna, principalmente, traz à mente a imagem do esportivo R8. Suas dimensões lembram o cupê, ainda que não aparente ser a mesma peça. Há quem diga também se tratar de um modelo mais esportivo, o que viria a ser o A7, devido à queda acentuada do teto ao porta-malas.</p>

Sabíamos que una derivación del mismo se comenzaría a fabricar en 2010, cosa que nos llamó mucho la atención, sobre todo por el tema del techo y los nefastos recuerdos del C1 de BMW. El caso es que aprovechando el EICMA de Milán, Peugeot ha presentado el HYbrid3 Evolution, que no deja de ser otro prototipo, aunque parece mucho más cercano a lo que podría ser el triciclo híbrido de la marca del León para fabricar antes de final del año que viene.</p>
<p>El HYbrid3 cuenta con 49 CV y sólo emite 48 gramos de CO2 de media por kilómetro, siendo capaz de rodar con emisiones cero cuando su batería esta cargada y funciona en modo eléctrico puro. El motor de combustión es de 41 CV e impulsa la rueda trasera, mientras que hay dos eléctricos encargados de dar par a las ruedas frontales (4 CV por rueda).</p>

<p>El consumo medio ponderado del HYbrid3 es de sólo 2 litros a los 100 kilómetros, lo cual nos dice todo sobre su idealidad como electrodoméstico de transporte urbano. Evidentemente, no podemos obviar sus parecidos con el Piaggio <a href="http://es.autoblog.com/tag/MP3/">MP3</a> aunque el modelo francés se ve cláramente más largo, más dinámico&#8230; más moto.</p>
<p>La estabilidad en parado de tener tres ruedas debería servir además como un sistema de atracción a los &#8220;enlatados&#8221; que tienen miedo a una moto porque nunca han andado con una de ellas.</p>
<p>Ahora sólo nos queda esperar la confirmación de que el modelo pasará a la producción, así que ¡no dejes de estar atento!</p></div>

<p>THE friends of a promising young golf pro who tragically died in a road accident are to pay their respects at their pal’s funeral – by dressing in golf clothes.</p>
<p>Friends of Stuart Hutchison – who died after a collision on the A7 last Wednesday &#8211; are preparing to give him a send off on his “last round” in honour of the 22-year-old’s love of golf.</p>
<p>His family asked that no one attending his funeral at Mortonhall Crematorium in Edinburgh on Friday wear black, instead encouraging people to come “dressed for the final round” with Stuart.</p>
<p>His mum Isobel, 50, said: “Stuart was always in golf clothes – we wanted people to come dressed for gold because it’s Stuart’s final round of golf.”</p>
<p>She and her cabbie husband David, 51, said they were touched by Stuart’s friends’ plans, as well as the support they’d got from them.<!--more-->She said: “He was a special boy, it’s been very difficult but we’re coping because Stuart would want us to – he loved life.</p>
<p>“We’ve been on Facebook and that is giving us great strength, reading everything his friends have said.</p>
<p>“He was a natural, his dad used to take him out on the golf course and try to show him how to play golf, but it was actually the other way round.</p>
<p>“He was a very bright boy, who didn’t apply himself at school, because all he wanted to do was play golf.</p>
<p>“But in the last three years he settled down and got himself together and he managed to achieve the standard required to become professional.”</p>
<p>Stuart worked in the Scottish Golf Centre shop in Leith, where he was developing with the help of professional Stuart Pardoe.</p>
<p>Stuart had been taught by his grandfather, David Stein, and was handing down his knowledge to sister’s young son Callum, teaching him to play the sport he lived for.</p>
<p>His proud mum added: “He had him playing golf already with no problem at all at the age of three.</p>
<p>“He spent as much time as he could on the golf course – when he wasn’t working he was golfing, that was his one real passion – and his family and friends.</p>
<p>“At the weekend he would always go up to Edinburgh to see his friends.</p>
<p>“In the long term he didn’t want to be a Tiger Woods and play on the circuit – he really just wanted to be a golf club pro and play.”</p>

Dit gebeurde op de A7 ter hoogte van Drachten. Een automobilist reed met een lege paardentrailer richting Groningen waar hij vermoedelijk door een rukwind werd verrast. De aanhanger kantelde en kwam overdwars op de snelweg terecht. De auto raakte los van de aanhanger waardoor deze zonder schade vrij kwam. </strong></p>
<p>Een toevallig voorbij komend brandweerkorps uit Andijk (NH) kwam polshoogte nemen, maar aangezien er geen dieren in de trailer zaten hoefde deze niet in actie te komen. Het verkeer, wat over de vluchtstrook werd geleid, had van het ongeval veel hinder. De paardentrailer werd door een bergingsbedrijf afgevoerd. </p>

<p>A MAN killed in a horrific car crash which closed a road for seven hours has been named by police as Stuart Hutchison.</p>
<p>The 22-year-old, from Clovenfords in the Scottish Borders, died at the scene of the accident on the A7 road just three miles north of Stow near Galashiels after his car clipped a Land Rover before plunging down an embankment.<img class="alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-10130" title="L&#38;B POLICE SIGN" src="http://deadlinescotland.wordpress.com/files/2009/10/lb-police-sign1.jpg?w=150" alt="L&#38;B POLICE SIGN" width="150" height="132" /></p>
<p>Paramedics rushed to his aid shortly after 3.30pm on Wednesday but were unable to save the stricken driver.</p>
<p>The driver of the second car, who has not been named, was taken to hospital complaining of back pain.</p>
<p>Officers investigating the accident said it appeared the Borders man somehow lost control of his Renault Clio and collided with a black Land Rover Freelander.<!--more--></p>

<p>Police, ambulance and fire-crews with specialist equipment all attended the scene which caused huge congestion problems.</p>

<p>The road was sealed off as they fought to save the men then so investigations into the cause could be completed.</p>
<p>An appeal has been issued for witnesses to contact officers on 0131 311 3131.</p>
<p>A spokesman for <a title="L&#38;B" href="http://www.lbp.police.uk/">Lothian and Borders Police</a> said: “This has been an extremely serious collision with tragic consequences.</p>
<p>“Our inquiries are still at an early stage, however, we are appealing for anyone who was on the road at the time and witnessed the incident to contact police immediately.”</p>

Incroyable. 252km/h. Qui dit mieux ? Samedi après-midi, les gendarmes de la BRI, la brigade rapide d&#8217;intervention, n&#8217;en croient pas leurs yeux. Leur radar laser fonctionne pourtant parfaitement. Plusieurs véhicules viennent littéralement de les décoiffer, à plus de 200 km/h. À 17h20, une Audi TT turbo est &#8220;flashée&#8221; à hauteur de Rognac, à&#8230; 222km/h. Au volant, un Marseillais de 38 ans, qui leur déclare être chef d&#8217;atelier. Au cours de la même journée, un autre véhicule, qui circule en direction de Marseille, est contrôlé à 252km/h. Triste record. Pour les gendarmes, ces vitesses tout bonnement impensables sont le bouquet final d&#8217;un week-end record, en matière de conduites dangereuses sur les autoroutes. Cette série noire commence le 20 septembre : un ressortissant roumain âgé de 37 ans, sans profession, roule à 207km/h dans une BMW série 5. Puis le 24 septembre, toujours sur l&#8217;A7 dans le secteur de Rognac, les militaires de la BRI interceptent un jeune plombier de 29 ans, originaire de Pantin, dans une Peugeot 308. Vitesse affichée : 194 km/h. Le lendemain, un jeune Salonais de 22 ans, qui se déclare intérimaire, roule dans une Citroën C5 sur l&#8217;A7. Il est contrôlé à 200 km/h et interpellé immédiatement par les gendarmes, qui le rattrapent à bord de leur Subaru. Samedi à 16h30, positionnés en bordure de l&#8217;A7 à hauteur de Rognac, les gendarmes interceptent un Cavaillonnais de 22 ans, intérimaire, au volant d&#8217;une Audi RS4. Il circule à 173km/h au lieu de 110 et s&#8217;avère être jeune conducteur. Il s&#8217;était vu retirer son permis de conduire pour un &#8220;gros&#8221; excès de vitesse et venait de le repasser. Une demi-heure plus tard, un artisan de Septèmes-les-Vallons est contrôlé au volant de sa BMW série 5 à 186km/h. Les deux recordmen, flashés à 222 puis 252 km/h, viendront clore la série. Pour ces automobilistes contrôlés à plus de 50km/h au-dessus de la vitesse autorisée, la sanction est immédiate : suspension de trois mois, en attendant une convocation devant le tribunal de police. Sans oublier six points en moins sur leur permis de conduire. De tels contrôles devraient se répéter, d&#8217;autant que la vitesse, soulignent les gendarmes de la BRI, constitue un facteur évidemment aggravant d&#8217;accidentologie.</span></div>

Nu wordt de bodem schoongemaakt. Er is een gat van vijf meter diep gegraven. Over een week of twee moet het weer dicht zijn. </p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>Una giovane donna al quinto mese di gravidanza è morta questa mattina a Milano in seguito ad un incidente stradale avvenuto sull&#8217;autostrada A7 nel tratto di tangenziale che porta al capoluogo lombardo. Il terribile incidente è avvenuto attorno alle sei. S.V.C., 22 anni, in attesa di un figlio, viaggiava a bordo di una Citroen C2 guidata dal fidanzato, A.R., 26 anni.</p>
<p><strong>Secondo una prima ricostruzione l&#8217;autovettura</strong>, che <strong>si trovava sulla terza corsia</strong>, quella di sorpasso, <strong>forse per l&#8217;alta velocità</strong> ha <strong>sbandato urtando più volte il guard-rail</strong> ed entrando in testacoda. <strong>La giovane, probabilmente senza cintura di sicurezza</strong> a causa della avanzata gravidanza, è stata sbalzata fuori dall&#8217;abitacolo. Inutili i soccorsi e il delicato intervento chirurgico al S.Raffaele: alle 9,30 la ragazza è morta e non si è potuto salvare neanche il bimbo che portava in grembo.</p>
<p><strong>Il fidanzato </strong>è stato invece ricoverato alla clinica Humanitas di Rozzano, nell&#8217;hinterland milanese, e <strong>ha dichiarato che andava veloce perchè aveva molta fretta</strong>. Sono in corso accertamenti per chiarire la dinamica dell&#8217;incidente e il Pm Isidoro Palma ha disposto l&#8217;autopsia sul corpo della donna.</p>

La <strong>galleria </strong>di <strong>monte Galletto</strong>, lunga 612 metri, che si trova tra il bivio A7/A12 e Genova Bolzaneto, <strong>sarà chiusa </strong>in <strong>direzione Milano per 14 giorni</strong> a iniziare <strong>dalle ore 22 di martedì 4 agosto sino alle 6 d</strong><strong>i mercoledì 19 agosto</strong>. Il pericolo di <a href="http://corrieredelveneto.corriere.it/notizie/cronaca/2009/1-agosto-2009/esodo-trenta-chilometri-coda-passante-mestre-1601623610039.shtml"><span style="text-decoration:underline;">caos come sabato scorso sul passante di Mestre è alto</span></a>. La galleria sarà interessata da lavori di manutenzione straordinaria proprio in corrispondenza dell&#8217;esodo di Ferragosto: «Siamo arrivati a un punto di non ritorno e dobbiamo intervenire in modo massiccio sul manto stradale», spiega il direttore del I tronco Autostrade.</p>

<p>Le <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.autostrade.it/news36.html" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration:underline;">auto e tutti i veicoli provenienti da Savona e diretti a nord saranno canalizzati sulla A26 all&#8217;altezza di Genova Voltri </span></a>sulla A10; <strong>per i veicoli provenienti dal porto di Genova e diretti verso Milano </strong>entrare in autostrada al casello di Genova ovest, immettersi tassativamente sulla A10 verso Ventimiglia e appena oltrepassato il casello di Genova Voltri, andare sull&#8217;autostrada A26 verso Alessandria e Milano attraverso la bretella di Predosa sarà poi possibile raggiungere nuovamente la A7.</p>
<p><strong>Il traffico proveniente da levante</strong> potrà proseguire verso Milano attraversando il nodo di Genova fino a Voltri, sulla A10, e poi imboccare la A26. Chi non volesse affrontare il percorso autostradale, potrà affidarsi alla viabilità ordinaria: da Genova e da Ponente attraverso la val Polcevera fino a Bolzaneto; da Levante attraverso la val Fontanabuona (uscita di Lavagna sulla A12), fino a Busalla. <strong>Per i veicoli provenienti dalla Toscana</strong>, dalla riviera di levante e diretti a nord (Piemonte, Francia, Svizzera) evitare il nodo genovese, privilegiando l&#8217;autostrada A15 La Spezia-Parma.</p>
<p>Il tratto in galleria è interessato da un movimento della roccia che restringe il tunnel. A questo si aggiunge il tracciato di falda che scorre proprio sotto il manto stradale e ne rende pericolosa la transitabilità. L&#8217;Autorità del porto di Genova ha previsto una differenziazione negli orari di arrivo e partenza delle navi per venire incontro a eventuali problemi di traffico. La Polizia stradale ha predisposto 50 uomini su quattro turni a vigilare che tutto vada bene.</p>
<p>Aumenta anche il controllo a Genova città, che sarà attraversata da un flusso stimato di almeno 15 mila auto in più al giorno. Sono già stati predisposti più vigili, più autobus, più corsie riservate. I momenti critici saranno alla mattina e alla sera. «Saranno quattordici giorni di fuoco», assicurano alla Polstrada. Ai genovesi è stato lanciato un appello alla pazienza e a utilizzare l&#8217;auto privata il meno possibile.</p>

<p>Ormai si rischia di cadere in trappola facilmente: i tratti autostradali su cui è attivo il Tutor sono talmente tanti che la segnaletica che li indica è ormai diventata familiare e può essere facilmente confusa con quella che preavvisa dei controlli di velocità tradizionali (veri o solo sbandierati).</p>
<p>E allora vi ribadisco una notizia di una settimana fa (ecco il comunicato originale della Polstrada <span><a href="http://mauriziocaprino.typepad.com/files/tutor-luglio-2009.doc">Scarica Tutor luglio 2009</a></span>): l&#8217;inizio delle rilevazioni della velocità media sulle autostrade A8 (Milano-Laghi) e A30 (Caserta-Salerno) e l&#8217;estensione della copertura già presente su A7 (Milano-Genova) e A26 (Genova-Gravellona Toce).</p>
<p>Insomma, ora la festa è finita anche su tanti tratti battuti da milanesi in vacanza (che si aggiungono all&#8217;autostrada per Bologna, già messa sotto controllo nel corso dell&#8217;ultimo anno), più la Caserta-Salerno, cioè l&#8217;ultima cinquantina di chilometri scorrevoli della principale dorsale Nord-Sud che erano rimasti senza Tutor (<em>e quindi di fatto a velocità libera, non siamo ipocriti</em>).</p>
<p>Solo che in quest&#8217;ultimo caso non si riesce a capire bene che cosa sia accaduto: fino a poche settimane fa,<strong> l&#8217;intera A30 era stata sottoposta al limite di 110 orari,</strong> per non meglio precisate &#8220;verifiche strutturali&#8221;. Ora <em>pare</em> che i 110 siano stati tolti in direzione Sud e restino sulla carreggiata Nord. Sto indagando per capirci qualcosa di più, ma come in tutte le questioni poco chiare sarebbe meglio andare sul posto (<em>ma nei giornali di oggi è un lusso&#8230;</em>).</p>
