The Crush, playing their second and final home game, came into the meeting 0-2, having lost the previous two games in dramatic fashion.

Cleveland’s defense could not answer the running attack of Passion RB Marirose Roach as she finished with 134 yards and 4 touchdowns on 14 carries. Roach also got involved in the passing game going 3-4 for 97 yards and 2 touchdowns. Roach ran for 5 TDs in the Passion’s previous 48-0 victory over Tampa Bay.

Cleveland’s hopes for victory were further crushed in the 2nd half when Quarterback Abbie Sullivan was knocked out of the game with what appeared to be a seperated shoulder. She would tell the Fan’s J.G. Spooner after the game that it was not separated or broken. Sullivan still finished 8-12 for 91 yards and 1 TD. Running back, Marija “the Enforcer” Condric is yet to find the endzone this season as she struggled to gain only 48 yards on 10 carries.

Turnovers and lack of defense led to the Crush’s third straight defeat as they fell to the Passion 60-18. They will travel to Orlando on December 2nd with the hope for a win over the Fantasy in the final game of their inaugural season.

The 12th franchise in league history, the Cleveland Crush compete in the Lingerie Football League’s Eastern Conference.

Running Back Marija “the Enforcer” Condric shares the same number with Peyton Hillis and just might be the female version of the Browns’ star back. She ran hard for 96 yards on 13 carries. QB Abbie Sullivan showed great effort but a few passes left her arm with too much loft. Sullivan also intercepted a pass while on defense at the end of the second corner and returned it for a touchdown. As QB, she finished 5-13 for 33 yards and 2 interceptions. Cleveland native, Shannon Anderson, a WR/S, caught a touchdown on offense and made an interception on defense.

The Charm took the lead 20-19 with 2:00 left on the clock. The Crush were given a final chance to win, but Sullivan threw in double coverage ending the drive with less than a minute on the clock. The Crush will face the Tampa Breeze on October 21st then return to the Q on October 29th to take on the Philadelphia Passion.
