Khwaja ‘Abdu’llah Isfahani was yet another of the venerable Khwaja Ala ad-Din’s affiliates. He said: When the venerable Khwaja first honoured me with his company, he recited these verses to me:

Let no trace of you remain;
In this alone perfection lies.
In Oneness make your being naught;
Communion lies in this alone.

Khwaja ‘Abdu’llah Isfahani wrote a very useful treatise on the Order of the Masters of Wisdom, under the patronage of a distinguished descendent of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace). We shall now present some excerpts from this work:

“The principle rule of this Order [Tariqat i-Khwajagan] is the following: From whichever perfect guide the seeker receives initiation, he must preserve the guide’s image in the treasure of his heart, until the time when he begins to demonstrate how his heart has been affected by the warmth and quality of that connection. As for what is necessary after that, it is not to abandon that same image, but to embrace it much more tightly than ever. The seeker must rivet that image to his heart, with his eyes, his ears and all his faculties.

What is called the “heart” is the centre of the comprehensive human reality, of which all the higher and lower elements of the universe are detailed particulars. The seeker must exert himself to experience the substance of that lofty reality, by expressing the affirmation of Oneness in his heart, using the formula: “There is nothing in existence, other than Allah!” By making this effort, whatever temptation may be whispered, he will consider it as being from Allah and existing because of Allah. This is because that whispered temptation is also one of the mental entities, and also like so many things that are false and absurd, it actually represents a manifestation of the Truth. If this procedure is followed, an ardour will arise in the heart, putting an end to trouble and dispelling dangers.

Even when whispered temptation departs, it is essential to cling to the same relationship. If whispered temptation still refuses to go away, the seeker must pronounce the word “Allah” in a slowly drawn-out manner, while striving to establish the meaning of Oneness in the heart. He must continue to pronounce the word “Allah” until the moment when boredom and weariness overcome the lower self. If signs of tiredness and exhaustion appear, he must desist.

As the spiritual traveller is obliged to know and understand, while he is making progress in the state of detachment from himself, and in his relationship with the great saints, attention to other things amounts to something resembling unbelief [kufr].”

To be in oneself is unbelief [kufr],
while transcending oneself is true faith [iman].

Q. Is it correct for Sunni Muslims to believe in the Twelve Imams?

A. In light of the Hadith of Gabriel (alaihi salam), also known as the Hadith of Ihsan, the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihi wa aalihi wa sallam) defined his religion as Islam, Iman and Ihsan. Based on the study of this Hadith, it is clear that according to the Holy Prophet (sallallahu alalihi wa aalihi wa sallam) Ihsan is one-third of the faith of Islam.

Unlike those who deny Tasawwuf, Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jam’ah, are clear that the vehicle to taste the Maqam al-Ihsan is Tasawwuf, what is termed as Sufism by the people today.

With that established, to answer your question, I say, based on the teachings of the greatest leaders of Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jam’ah throughout history, the Illustrious Twelve Imams (may Allah be well pleased with them all) are THE Qutbul-Aqtaab of Tasawwuf, meaning the highest ranking Saints of Sufism, under whose shelter every Wali attained his Wiliyah, and each Muslim is able to approach or even reach the state of Ihsan. I say to you, that without them, there is no Tasawwuf, and without Tasawwuf, there is no Ihsan. Ihsan is one-third of the faith, and hence, belief in the Twelve Imams is in reality, one-third of the faith!

In his book the Ghadir Declaration, Shaykh al-Islam Dr. Tahir al-Qadiri quotes Imam Rabbani’s comments on the status of Hadrat al-Murtada and the Twelve Imams, and the dependence of those who seek guidance directly on them for it, stating,

“And there is another way close to the spiritual sovereignty and this is the way of the Saints and the general friends of Allah, and this way is marked by its characteristic passion and it carries the guarantee of mediation and the leader and chieftain of the Saints of this way is ‘Alī al-Murtada. And this grand office is reserved for him. On this way, the feet of the Holy Prophet are on ‘Alī’s head and Fatima and Hasan and Husayn are included with him. I believe that he enjoyed this position even before his physical birth, as he did after it, and whosoever has received the divine blessing and guidance, has received it through him, because he is closest to the last point on this way and the centre of this spot belongs to him. And when his period ended, the grand office passed on to Hasan and Husayn and then on to each one of the Twelve Imāms, individually and elaborately. And whosoever received guidance in their life and after their death, received it through these Saints. And the refuge and place of shelter of the Saints of high ranks are these Saints, (because they are the centre of all spiritual activity) and the sides tend to converge on the centre” (Maktubat, Volume 9:173#123).

To elaborate further on the topic of the Ummah’s dependence on the Twelve Imams in order to obtain Ihsan, the Masterful Khwaja; Imam Rabbani Mujaddid Alf Thani Ahmad al-Faruqi as-Sirhindi (qadas Allahu sirrahul ‘aziz) describes the dependence of the Qutb al-Aqtab, who is responsible for the guiding the entire creation, on Hadrat ‘Ali’ al-Murtada (karram Allahu wajhu), stating in the Maktubat Sharif Vol. 1,

“O Brother! Indeed Imam ‘Ali is the holder of the keys of the Sainthood, Wilayah, of the Prophet Muhammad [s] and the training regime for the status of Aqtab, Awtad and Abdaal, who are from amongst the reserved Awliya, is done under the shelter of his Sainthood. The rank of Qutb al-Aqtab, who is the greatest Qutb and the guide and mentor of others, lays under his (‘Ali’s) feet. His orders are issued under the supervision and support of ‘Ali and he performs his duties under the supervision and support of ‘Ali and fulfills his tasks. Sayyida Fatima and both of her sons, the Imams (Hasan and Husayn) share this rank with ‘Ali.” (Maktubat Imam Rabbani, Volume 1:438#251)

Furthermore, Hadrat Shah Wali Allah Muhaddith al-Dahlawi echoed this belief, that dependence on the Sainthood of the Illustrious Twelve Imams is one-third of the faith, as it is the Twelve Imams who are the Pivots of Guidance in Tasawwuf, and since Tasawwuf leads to Ihsan, and since it is them who are the Pivots of that science, it is clear that it is the Twelve Imams then who lead one to the perfection of faith, Ihsan.

I say to you again, without the Twelve Imams, ones faith cannot be completed, as Ihsan is the completion of faith, and the science of Ihsan; Tasawwuf, depends entirely on them!

The venerable Muhaddith Shah Wali Allah wrote:

“This faqir [referring to himself] has come to know that from all the other relations, the Twelve Imams [ra] have the relation of central pole leadership (Qutb). And the way of Tassawuf (Sufism) had taken birth during their lifetime. But all the orders of Aqaed and Shariah are limited to the ahadeeth of the Prophet (saww). And they have the order (Amr) of inner (Batin) leadership (Qutbiyat), which is free from the problems of Shariah. And in regards to the very leadership (Qutbiyat), each of them had an indication and ‘Nas’ for the next one to come, and the affairs of imamate which they said, actually referred to this kind of central pole leadership (Qutbiyat).” [Maqalaat al Waziyah fi Naseehat al-Wasiyah, page 7 (Lucknow)].

“Glory be to your Lord, the Lord of Honor, above what they describe.
And peace be on the Apostles.
And all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds” (Qur’an, 37:180)

Q: Is there something more I can do in order to progress towards the point of spiritual unveiling more quickly?

A: You can do nothing except to follow. Follow your Guide: his orders, his examples, his manners. If you concentrate on following him you will precede along the path with him: to follow is important, nothing else.

Even if you can only manage to connect to and remember your Sheikh once a day, that will be enough for you to be written as his follower. It means you have boarded that “train” and are still riding on it. As long as the train continues on towards its destination you will move towards yours as well. Even if you are not working as hard as you should for your spiritual life, it doesn’t matter so much, for you are still aboard the train- and be you asleep on the floor on the third class car: the train is moving and you are on it. What is important is to take a train.

Yes, even if you are asleep day and night you may progress if you just keep up your connection with you Sheikh. Pointing to this fact is the saying of the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him, that on the Last Day everyone will be raised up with his loved ones. So the more you love your Sheikh, the more you should be able to follow his orders and examples in obedience to Allah Almighty and His Prophet. But even the laziest follower will not be left behind until he reaches his station. For if he is asleep the conductor will come and wake him up, saying” wake up, wake up, we have arrived at your station.” Then he would groggily reply “What? Have we really arrived?”, “Yes, take your baggage and go.”

 Los Angeles basketball legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar,62, is being treated for a rare form of leukemia, it is a form of blood cancer known as chronic myelogenous leukemia.

The disease was discovered in Kareem last December, and his prognosis is good. He is receiving treatment and he is responding very well.

 CML,as it is known, occurs when too many white blood cells are made in the bone marrow. Bone marrow is then replaced by malignant, leukemia cells. When these cells circulate in the blood, they can cause enlargement of the liver, spleen or other organs. An indicator of CML is an extraordinarily high white blood cell count, which is what Abdul-Jabbar’s initial blood work revealed.

Abdul-Jabbar said his condition can be managed by taking oral medication daily, seeing his specialist every other month and getting his blood analyzed regularly. He said he expects to lead a healthy life.

He said he went in to his medical advisor after experiencing unusual hot flashes and regular night sweats that had never occurred before.

“The word ‘leukemia’ is a very frightening word,” he stated after hearing the prognosis for the first time.

“In many instances, it’s a killer and it’s something that you have to deal with in a very serious and determined way if you’re going to beat it.”

Medical studies have shown that many patients with chronic myeloid leukemia who are treated can control the disease without its progressing to a move advanced stage.

Abdul-Jabbar, who has become a spokesman for the company that makes the drugs that are treating his leukemia, also urged people to “see a doctor regularly, go for regular checkups… get regular blood work done.

“I think someone in my position who gets public attention can do a lot of good because a lot of people are faced with this condition and they think it’s a death sentence,” he told the AP.

Recent verbal assaults on Supreme Court of Pakistan CJP Iftikhar Chaudhary
and  by PPPP lead by Latif Khosa, pro-Musharraf groups and Former Justice
Abdul Hameed Doggar (Musharraf’s PCO CJ of Doggar-Musharraf Court) are a signal that
current government,their bought analyst and other allies have never accepted the
reinstatement of judiciary on 16th March 2009 as a result of  real consistent,honest and
determined struggle by lawyers,civil society and political parties like PTI,JI and other APDM parties.

The recent campaign by PPPP and allies against the judiciary seems to pressurize the judiciary
on the issues of NRO, Suo-motto taken against  corruption and government supported land mafias and cartels.

The forces of status quo should know that if they tried to play another dirty game, people
will take them on with bare nuckles.

Dois cristãos da cidade de Gojra, Paquistão, que teriam disparado tiros de advertência contra uma multidão de islâmicos que queimaram sete cristãos até a morte no dia 1 de agosto de 2009, afirmaram que foram torturados depois que a polícia os prendeu. Apenas um das centenas de assaltantes muçulmanos responsáveis por queimar pelo menos 50 casas está preso, por ter atacado a cidade cristã de Gojra. Mas fontes informam que os islâmicos forneceram um pretexto à polícia par prender os dois irmãos cristãos que deram abrigo a 300 pessoas atacadas. Naveed Masih, 32 anos, também conhecido como Fauji (“O Soldado”) e seu irmão de 25 anos Nauman Masih foram presos no dia 2 e 7 de setembro de 2009 respectivamente, por “promover tumultos com armas letais e espalhar o terror com disparos”, embora Nauman tenha sido libertado sob fiança. De sua cela na prisão, Naveed Masih nos informou que ele e seu irmão foram levados ao Centro de Treinamento da Polícia em Choong, onde foram mantindos em prisão ilegal por 18 dias. A polícia não os alimentou durante dias e quando pediam comida os oficiais diziam para que confessassem que tinham utilizado armas de fogo. Naveed Masih também informou que a polícia os torturou para forçá-los a dizer que tinham ligações com organizações terroristas que forneciam armas e munições. “Às vezes nós éramos pendurados num poço escuro enquanto nossas faces estavam cobertas com um tecido,”, disse Naveed Masih. “Eles me batiam com barras de bambu nas costas das minhas mãos e às vezes me penduravam de ponta cabeça e depois me batiam brutalmente.”

Naveed Maish disse que eram impedidos de dormir e eram acordados sempre que caíam no sono. Durante 18 dias de tortura, disse ele, os dois irmãos foram mantidos separados mas se viam quando levados perante o juiz. “Nós nos abraçávamos e chorávamos, vendo os ferimentos um do outro”, ele disse.

Naveed Masih disse que a polícia os torturou porque deram abrigo a mais de 300 mulheres, crianças e velhos no dia do ataque no qual os atacantes – agindo baseados num rumor sem base de “blasfêmia” do Alcorão e estimulados numa histeria pelos clérigos muçulmanos locais e grupos terroristas ilegais – também saquearam mais de 100 casas e queimaram 50 delas. Apesar do ataque contra a região cristã de Gojra ter sido promovido por centenas de extremistas islâmicos, em vez disso a polícia registrou queixas dos atacantes muçulmanos contra 129 cristãos. Fontes informam que essas várias acusações foram registradas apenas para pressionar a comunidade cristã. Até o momento a polícia prendeu apenas Naveed Masih e Nauman Masih – cujos casos foram submetidos a uma Corte Contra o Terrorismo para dificultar que sejam libertados mediante fiança, de acordo com seu advogado – mas o Centro de Ajuda Jurídica, Assistência e Acordos (Centre for Legal Aid, Assistance and Settlement – CLAAS, uma organização cristã ) pôde obter a liberdade de Nauman Masih, o irmão mais jovem.

Kashmiri ofereceu 1 milhão de rúpias (US$12.500,00) se os cristãos retirassem a queixa, informou Nauman Masih. O resto dos atacantes muçulmanos ainda está livre e fontes dizem que a polícia não tem intenção de prendê-los.

Além disso, três cheques de 100.000 rúpias cada (US$1.200,00) emitidos por Rana Sanaullah, Ministro regional da Justiça do Punjab como compensação às vitimas, foram cancelados, disse Nauman Masih, provavelmente porque os favorecidos estão entre os 129 cristãos implicados nas acusações falsas. Nauman Masih disse que quando sua mãe chegou à Delegacia de Polícia da cidade cristã de Gojra na noite em que seu irmão foi preso, os oficiais disseram que ela poderia vê-lo na manhã seguinte. Mas quando ela e outra amiga chegaram na manhã seguinte a polícia disse que não tinham preso seu irmão.

A Iniciativa de Desenvolvimento da Comunidade (Community Developmento Initiative – CDI), um grupo de advogados que trabalha com ajuda do Centro Americano pela Lei e Justiça, está oferecendo ajuda legal aos irmãos. O advogado do CDI, Haroon Suleman Khokhar, disse que eles foram acusados falsamente num crime sério, por terem protegido a si mesmos e muitos outros cristãos inocentes. Ele disse que a polícia não tem justificativas para levar adiante os casos dos dois irmãos perante a Corte Anti-Terrorismo de Faisabad. O advogado Khokhar disse que Naveed Masih é uma testemunha principal no boletim de ocorrência registrado na polícia no dia 1 de agosto de 2009 e que os dois irmãos foram acusados nos casos apenas para forçar Naveed Masih a retirar seu testemunho contra os atacantes muçulmanos.

Para protestar contra o registro das acusações contra os 129 cristãos, que incluem o Bispo de Gojra John Samuel, Naveed masih e Nauman Masih, no dia 2 de outubro de 2009 os cristãos de Gojra se recusaram a receber mantimentos enviados pela Embaixada dos EUA no Paquistão. Eles declaram que preferem JUSTIÇA em vez de mantimentos.

Adam Lambert, Jewish American Idol runner up, had an interview this afternoon with Jewish Journal.com before a concert later this evening. He revealed alot about his family and his Judaism which he terms as “Lightly Jewish”. Lambert also mentioned alot about his mother’s side of the family. His mother is of the Jewish faith while his father is non Jewish. Adam also mentioned about how he wishes to go to Israel but hasn’t so far and actually has no knowledge of Hebrew. Adam also never had the Bar Mitzvah ceremony because of how he “dropped out” of Hebrew school at a young age. Lambert also mentioned about his maternal grandparents are deceased and how he considers his father and him to have a “teacher-parent” relationship. Also, like many Jewish mothers, she will not be on the outside of the bubble that comes with his new fame. His mother, Gail Lambert, will be on his administrative staff and will be with him when he goes on tour. Adam also mentioned how his family don’t have Christmas and always celebrate Chanukkah each year. They do celebrate Passover, but not regularly. Adam didn’t mention whether they had their own seder or not at the home, but im pretty sure they did. Adam Lambert is one of a handful of American Idol figures including Elliot Yamin, Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell(Paternal Jewish background), and Mikalah Gordon of Paternal Jewish background. Lambert was also asked about one fear that he may have during his carrer and he stated “Obscurity. That would be a shame. That would be a real shame. If I have anything to say about it, it won’t happen no matter what goes on with my career.”

One thing that might come as a surprise about joining Islam is that insh’Allah you get a new name! This can be really cool, really awkward, or a combination of both.

I don’t think there is a rush to get a Muslim name, but at some point after becoming Muslim, you should probably get one.

In my life, what actually happened was that I got my name through a “referral.” Long story, too much for this blog. But my Muslim name is Abdul Rahim (slave of The Merciful).

Alhamdulillah, lots of people get different pious Muslim names when they join Islam. Mash’Allah! Some names, like the name Muhammad are important for no other reason than they are associated with important Islamic figures.  That one should be a bit obvioius. The name, by the way, means “praise worthy.”

Other Muslim names are borrowed from the 99 names of Allah (SWT).
In case you didn’t know by now, Allah (SWT) has 99 names.

If your name is derived from one of Allah (SWT)’s 99 names then you ALWAYS say put “Abdul” in front of that name.

For example, it would be pretty haram (forbidden) for me to walk around calling myself “Rahim.” That would be haram because it is equating me with Allah (SWT).

The proper name for me would be ABDUL Rahim (slave of The Merciful). It represents my inferiority before The Creator of the Worlds, Allah (SWT). It also signifies that I am a Muslim and that I am in complete submission to the will of Allah (SWT). SubhanAllah if you forget to add “abdul” you will get some weird and even mean looks from your Ummah (Muslim community)!

So insh’Allah before you join Islam, think carefully about what Muslim name you adopt. You can’t change it once you choose it! Though for some people, the Imam that you recite your Shahada with often names you. So watch out who you choose to bear witness with!

আবদুল জলিল

আবার আলোচনায় আওয়ামী লীগ নেতা আবদুল জলিল। বোমা ফাটানো বক্তব্য দিয়ে এবারো পত্রিকার শিরোনামে জায়গা করে নিয়েছেন তিনি। দেশের সব সংবাদপত্রে গুরুত্বসহকারে প্রকাশিত হয়েছে তার এ বক্তব্য। নতুন করে বক্তব্য দিয়ে নিজ দলের বিরুদ্ধে অবস্খান নেয়ায় দলের মধ্যে তোলপাড় শুরু হয়েছে। রীতিমতো ঝড় বইছে পুরো রাজনৈতিক অঙ্গনে। আবদুল জলিলের এ ধরনের বক্তব্যে দলের নেতাকর্মীরা চরম ক্ষুব্ধ হয়েছেন। তাদের মতে, আবদুল জলিল সরকারের একটি অংশ হয়ে যে ধরনের বক্তব্য দিয়েছেন, তাতে সরকারের বৈধতা নিয়ে প্রশ্ন দেখা দিতে পারে। তার এ বক্তব্য দলীয় শৃঙ্খলা পরিপন্থী বলেও মনে করছেন নেতাকর্মীরা। তাদের ক্ষুব্ধতার বহি:প্রকাশ ইতোমধ্যে লন্ডনের বার্মিংহামে ঘটে গেছে। দেশে ফিরলে তারচেয়েও বড় ধরনের ঘটনা ঘটতে পারে বলে দলের নেতাকর্মীরাই আশঙ্কা করছেন। তবে দলের কেউ কেউ বলেছেন, আবদুল জলিল একজন পরীক্ষিত নেতা, দল থেকে এভাবে তাকে বঞ্চিত করা উচিত হয়নি।

আওয়ামী লীগের উপদেষ্টামণ্ডলীর সদস্য, সংসদ সদস্য ও বাণিজ্য মন্ত্রণালয় সম্পর্কিত সংসদীয় স্খায়ী কমিটির সভাপতি আবদুল জলিল। তিনি গত বুধবার লন্ডনের একটি টেলিভিশন চ্যানেলে সাক্ষাৎকারে বলেছেন, নির্বাচনে আওয়ামী লীগের বিপুল বিজয় ও ক্ষমতারোহণের পেছনে সমঝোতা ছিল। গত বৃহস্পতিবার একটি সংবাদ সংস্খার কাছে দেয়া সাক্ষাৎকারে আবদুল জলিল আবার বলেন, সেনাসমর্থিত বিগত তত্ত্বাবধায়ক সরকারের সাথে আওয়ামী লীগের এক ধরনের সমঝোতা হয়েছিল। বর্তমানে মন্ত্রিপরিষদে যেসব সদস্য আছেন তারা অধিকাংশই ডিজিএফআই’র এজেন্ট। এ ছাড়া মন্ত্রিসভার ৯০ শতাংশ মন্ত্রীই সংস্কারপন্থী। শেখ হাসিনা সংস্কারপন্থীদের নিয়েই দল চালাচ্ছেন। এ ছাড়া মন্ত্রীদের দুর্নীতির বিষয় নিয়েও কথা বলেন তিনি।

তার এ ধরনের বক্তব্যে দলের নেতাকর্মীদের মধ্যে তোলপাড় শুরু হয়েছে। গতকাল শুক্রবার দলের মাঠ পর্যায়ের নেতাকর্মীদের সাথে আলাপকালে জানা গেছে, তারা জলিলের এ ধরনের বক্তব্যে চরম ক্ষুব্ধ। তারা বলছেন, আবদুল জলিল সরকারের একটি অংশ হয়ে যে ধরনের বক্তব্য দিয়েছেন, তাতে সরকারের বৈধতা নিয়ে প্রশ্ন দেখা দেবে। তার এ বক্তব্য দলীয় শৃঙ্খলা পরিপন্থী। আবদুল জলিল দলের পদে থেকেও বারবার এমন কিছু বক্তব্য দিচ্ছেন, যা বিরোধী দলের নেতাকর্মীরাও দিচ্ছেন না। এতে বিরোধী দলকে আরো ইস্যু সৃষ্টি করে দেয়া হচ্ছে। সেজন্য তার বিরুদ্ধে দ্রুত ব্যবস্খা নেয়া উচিত বলেও তারা মনে করেন।

আবদুল জলিল দলের বিরুদ্ধে অবস্খান নিয়ে বক্তব্য রাখলেও এ ব্যাপারে দলের সিনিয়র নেতারা প্রতিক্রিয়া জানাতে অসম্মতি জানিয়েছেন। তবে দলের প্রেসিডিয়াম সদস্য অ্যাডভোকেট ইউসুফ হোসেন হুমায়ুন ও ওবায়দুল কাদের নয়া দিগন্তের কাছে এ ব্যাপারে প্রতিক্রিয়া ব্যক্ত করেছেন। গতকাল শুক্রবার সকালে দলের ভারপ্রাপ্ত সভাপতি সৈয়দা সাজেদা চৌধুরীর সাথে যোগাযোগ করা হলে জানানো হয়, এ ব্যাপারে তিনি কোনো কথা বলবেন না। দলের সাধারণ সম্পাদক সৈয়দ আশরাফুল ইসলামের মোবাইল ফোন বìধ করে রাখা হয়েছে। দলের উপদেষ্টামণ্ডলীর সদস্য আমির হোসেন আমু ও সুরঞ্জিত সেনগুপ্তকে ফোন করে এ বিষয়ে প্রতিক্রিয়া জানতে চাওয়া হলে তারা দু’জনই বলেন, এ ব্যাপারে কিছু বলতে পারব না।

দলের প্রেসিডিয়াম সদস্য অ্যাডভোকেট ইউসুফ হোসেন হুমায়ুন নয়া দিগন্তকে এক প্রতিক্রিয়ায় বলেন, আবদুল জলিলের বক্তব্য যাচাই-বাছাইয়ের প্রশ্ন আছে। দলীয় ফোরামে তার বক্তব্য যাচাই-বাছাই করা হবে। তিনি বলেন, পত্রপত্রিকা পড়ে তার বক্তব্য সম্পর্কে ওয়াকিবহাল হয়েছি। তার এ বক্তব্য সত্য হলে সেটা হবে অত্যন্ত দু:খজনক। এসব বক্তব্য বাইরে না বলে দলীয় ফোরামে বললেই ভালো। যে নির্বাচনে আবদুল জলিল এমপি নির্বাচিত হয়েছেন, সে নির্বাচনের বিরুদ্ধে কথা বলাটা স্ববিরোধী। তিনি বলেন, শেখ রেহানা সম্পর্কে আবদুল জলিল যা বলেছেন তা বেদনাদায়ক। কারণ শেখ রেহানা দলীয় কোনো কর্মকাণ্ডে জড়িত নন। তা ছাড়া তিনি বিদেশে থাকেন। তার সম্পর্কে এ ধরনের বক্তব্য অত্যন্ত বেদনাদায়ক। এক প্রশ্নের জবাবে তিনি বলেন, দলীয় ফোরামে বিষয়টি নিয়ে আলোচনা হবে এবং বক্তব্য সত্য হলে তার বিরুদ্ধে ব্যবস্খাও নেয়া হবে।

ওবায়দুল কাদের আবদুল জলিলের বক্তব্যের প্রতিক্রিয়া ব্যক্ত করে বলেন, যে নির্বাচন দেশে ও বিদেশীদের কাছে অবাধ ও গ্রহণযোগ্য হয়েছে, সে নির্বাচন নিয়ে বিতর্কিত কথা বলা মানে বাংলাদেশের মানুষের ম্যান্ডেটকে অস্বীকার করা। দেশী-বিদেশী পর্যবেক্ষকরাও এবারের নির্বাচনকে স্বচ্ছ ও অবাধ হয়েছে বলে স্বীকার করেছেন। তিনি বলেন, আবদুল জলিলের বক্তব্যের সাথে আমি একমত নই। দলের নেতৃত্ব নিয়ে আবদুল জলিল যে কথা বলেছেন তা ঠিক নয়। দলের কাউন্সিল হয়েছে, নতুন নেতৃত্ব নির্বাচিত হয়েছে। নিয়ম অনুযায়ী কাউন্সিলের মাধ্যমে নতুন নেতৃত্ব আসবে এটাই স্বাভাবিক। এটা মেনে নিতে হবে। আবদুল জলিল দলের অনেক ত্যাগী নেতা। তিনিও ধাপে ধাপে নেতা নির্বাচিত হয়েছেন। দলের প্রেসিডিয়াম সদস্য থেকে উনি দলের সাধারণ সম্পাদক নির্বাচিত হয়েছেন। দলের জন্য উনি ত্যাগ স্বীকার করেছেন, দল উনাকে মূল্যায়নও করেছে। তাই বলে আবদুল জলিল তো আজীবন দলের সাধারণ সম্পাদক থাকতে পারবেন না। দলের আরো অনেক নেতা আছেন, তাদেরও তো সুযোগ দিতে হবে। ধৈর্য ধরলে উনি আরো সম্মানিত হতে পারতেন। তিনি আরো বলেন, সরকারের কেবল নয় মাস চলছে। তাকে তো আরো মূল্যায়ন করার সুযোগ আছে। উনার মনে এত দু:খ কেন? দলের অনেক নেতারই তো দু:খ আছে। তাই বলে দলের বিরুদ্ধে কেউ যা খুশি তাই বলতে পারেন? ওবায়দুল কাদের বলেন, বিদেশের মাটিতে বসে দলের বিরুদ্ধে এ ধরনের বক্তব্য দেয়া মানে বাংলাদেশের ভাবমূর্তি ক্ষুণí করা। আবদুল জলিল অনেক বড়মাপের নেতা। তার ওপর শ্রদ্ধা রেখে বলতে চাই, যেকোনো বক্তব্য দেয়ার সময় তার শব্দ চয়নে সতর্ক থাকা উচিত। তিনি বলেন, আবদুল জলিল আওয়ামী লীগের উপদেষ্টামণ্ডলীর সদস্য, দলের টিকিট নিয়ে উনি এমপি নির্বাচিত হয়েছেন। এ ছাড়া উনি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ মন্ত্রণালয়ের সংসদীয় স্খায়ী কমিটির সদস্য। এরপর তার স্ববিরোধী বক্তব্য দেয়া উচিত নয়। ওবায়দুল কাদের বলেন, আবদুল জলিলের মনে যদি কোনো দু:খ-ক্ষোভ থাকে তাহলে উনি দলীয় ফোরামে বলতে পারেন। দলের প্রধান ও নেতারা বিষয়টি সুরাহা করবেন। কিন্তু ফোরামের বাইরে তাও বিদেশের মাটিতে কেন এ ধরনের বক্তব্য দিচ্ছেন। ওবায়দুল কাদের জানান, দলীয় ফোরামে এ বিষয়টি নিয়ে আলোচনা হবে। ফোরাম তার বিষয়ে যে সিদ্ধান্ত নেবে তা বাস্তবায়ন হবে। তবে লন্ডনের বার্মিংহামে আবদুল জলিলের লাঞ্ছিত হওয়ার ঘটনাকে দু:খজনক উল্লেখ করে তিনি বলেন, এ ধরনের কোনো আচরণ আমি সমর্থন করি না। তবে নাম প্রকাশে অনচ্ছিুক অনেক নেতাই জলিলের বক্তব্যের তীব্র সমালোচনা করেছেন। তাদের মতে, আবদুল জলিল মন্ত্রিত্ব না পেয়ে দিশেহারা হয়ে গেছেন। এখন তিনি বিচার বিশ্লেষণ না করে যা ইচ্ছে বলছেন। মুক্তি পেতে জেলখানায় বসেও দলের বিরুদ্ধে আপত্তিকর অনেক বক্তব্য দিয়েছেন তিনি। তার এমন হঠকারিতাই প্রমাণ করে তিনি ওয়ান-ইলেভেনের সুবিধাভোগী।

Borneo Weekend in Kota Kinabalu – Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park

We flew from Singapore to KK, stayed in a good value Backpackers hostel (Kinabalu Backpackers), spent the 1st day scuba diving around Pulau Sapi Beach, Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, went to the Philipinian Night Market BBQ (strongly recommended – yummy!). Q. Please explain for us the significance of the conflict in Palestine and Iraq and its role prior to the advent of Al-Mahdi and Dajjal.

A. Iraq was the home of Abraham, who prayed for the Imamate to continue in his progeny, and Jerusalem is home to al-Aqsa, the blessed place of the Coronation of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaih wa aalihi wa sallam) as Imam of Creation. Amongst Muslims, Sufi Saints are able to solve this puzzle and understand the relevance of these lands to the Kingdom of Heaven. People have forgot everything about Islam, and what the essence of the message of the Holy Qur’an is. How many know why the Fourth Caliph chose Kufa for his Capital? How many know the grounds for Hadrat Mahdi (alaihi salam)’s declaration of Jihad with Jesus on the evil armies seeking to control Jerusalem when he arrives? People have forgotten. The world is being paved and prepared for the Armageddon. The camps are being prepared, that of the Ishmaelites, and that of the Israelites. The King of the Ishmaelites and Arabs is al-Mahdi and the King of the Israelites is Dajjal. The forerunner to Dajjal is as-Sufyani.

Turmoil in the Middle East

The turmoil in Iraq and Jerusalem is not without purpose. The forerunners of Dajjal, who seek a New World Order, understand the symbolic importance of Iraq and Jerusalem, and seek to destroy it and the Signs of Allah contained therein. Imam Mahdi and Dajjal are already at war. Imam Mahdi and his followers are busy spreading spirituality in the Capitals of Europe, America and the West, forcing devils to leave the satanic kingdom more so than at any other time in the history of the West. These supporters have successfully influenced the conditions in the world to force its leaders, Western leaders, to co-operate for the rise of Prophetic spirituality and its cultural hegemony where ever possible. These supporters of al-Mahdi are influencing the world’s greatest powers to help them end the ideology hate and terror which has hijacked, with the help of the forces of the Dajjal, the Islamic world. Once these individuals are removed, Islam will be brought to the forefront. The splendor of Islam will shine in the world.

Forces of Dajjal

However, while the supporters of al-Mahdi are busy in these peaceful tasks, the forces of Dajjal are busy killing and attacking throughout the world, preparing for the arrival for the Dajjal, who will unleash death, war and chaos on the earth until he is killed by Jesus. These forces of Dajjal are behind the Iraq war, the stationing of American troops there contrary to the laws embraced by the international community, and the opinions of Americans in general. These forces are acting to try to fulfill what they understand to be the ‘destiny’ of those whom they believe to be God’s chosen people, and that bloodline. You must understand that what we are witnessing in the Middle East and what has happened in the sanctuaries of the Muslim world are the direct doing of the Dajjal and his supporters. These decisions to demolish all Ishmaelite history in Hijaz, redefine Islam with an alien ideology and grant it the crown jewel of Islam, jihad, is part of a global web being spun by the Dajjal. You must know that it is not a coincidence that after 9/11 each of the shrines of the Princes of the Ishmaelites and Arabs, the Ahlul Bayt, were attacked. It is not a coincidence that the shrine of Salman Farsi (rad), about whom the Ishmaelite Prophet (S) declared, “Salman is from my Ahlul Bayt” was also attacked after 9/11. It is not a coincidence that the shrine of Ghawth al-Adham, the Cardinal Pole of Sufism, Shaykh ‘Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani al-Hasani wal-Husayni, the Ishmaelite, was also attacked.

The Last Ritual to Welcome Dajjal

This destruction is part of the global web of Dajjal, to pave the way for his advent and his global kingdom, which will include most of Middle East. One of the last major rituals to welcome his arrival and that of his kingdom is to destroy the heritage sites in Hijaz of the Prophet (S) and his family. The heritage sites of the Prophet’s (S) family, Dajjal’s greatest enemies, in Baqi were destroyed after the fall of the Ottomans and they followers of Dajjal seek to complete this evil ritual now with more destruction and their crown jewel will be their attempt to destroy the Green Dome of the Prophet (S) in Madinah and level the three tombs inside the Masjid an-Nabawi. You must know that it is in Dajjal’s name that capitalism is being pushed into our holy places, the haramayn, where now you can buy Gucci openly, but cannot make Salawat aloud. It is no secret, plans are currently under way, in the name of extension work, to erase all Prophetic history in Makkah, and Madinah, including the one of the greatest crimes against history committed in his name and honor, the bulldozing of the home of the Prophet (S) in Makkah where he lived and replacing it with latrines nearby.

Ishmaelite Heritage Erased in Honor of Dajjal

In preparation of his (Dajjal) arrival, his supporters have successfully erased from history the auspicious location where Ishmael (alaihi salam) was being sacrificed by Abraham (alaihi salam), and caused sever damage to the well of Ishmael, Zam Zam. It is for the honor of Dajjal that the exact blessed spot on earth wherein Allah made His Covenant with the Ishmaelites, in honor of which all Muslim males are circumcised, has been bulldozed and erased from history. It is in anticipation of his arrival that while the house of the Ishmaelite Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa aalihi wa sallam) was bulldozed, the house of Kaab bin Ashraf the Israelite still stands. If the house of Kaab bin Ashraf is destroyed, how will they trick the world into believing their claim on that part of the earth as well? In honor of Dajjal, you must know that plans are currently underway to collapse al-Aqsa, the place of Coronation of the Seal of Prophets. The forces of Dajjal are working hard to finish Islam and its heritage from the world, and erase its true message from the minds of Muslims. We are living in a time wherein people think the greatest enemies of Islam, terrorists, are its greatest supporters, and oppression, which Islam came to end, is the solution to revive Islam. What a grievous situation we are faced with! It is not a coincidence that to prepare the world for the arrival of the Dajjal, and war against al-Mahdi, the Ishmaelite Arab, that almost every film made in America to date about Arabs has demonized them, and dehumanized them for what other reason other than hate for the Ishmaelite Prophet and al-Mahdi, the Ishmaelite Imam and King. The Apostle of Allah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, “Allah examined His creation and chose the children of Adam from among them; He examined the children of Adam and selected the Arabs from among them; He examined the Arabs and chose me from among them, so I was always the choicest of choices. Behold, people who love the Arabs, it is out of love for me that they love them, and those who hate the Arabs, it is out of hatred for me that they hate them.”

Two Forces

Oh brother, you must believe that we are living in a world wherein there exists the forces of good and also the forces of evil. Muslims must condemn terrorism in all of its forms, as it is supported by the global agenda of the forces of evil, the Dajjal. Imam Mahdi (alaihi salam) is our only hope to restore justice and balance, to bring back peace. We are in the last days, witnessing all of the significant events unfold BeforeArmageddon faster than most of us can comprehend. Things will unfold so fast in the next seven years, that people will be forced to search out Al Mahdi (alaihi salam) and they will not stop until they have found him and pledge their allegiance to him.

While the supporters of al-Mahdi are working to spiritually finish all devils in the satanic kingdom, the world is seeing what havoc Dajjal is wreaking in the Middle East. Seeing this, our young generation which has been cut from the Wiliyat of Awliya and their support, do not know how to react, and what to do in face of such circumstances. Under such circumstances, you must first believe that Allah has already made arrangement for the settlement of these disputes and wars. He has already sent to the world al-Mahdi (alaihis alam), who is currently alive, and helping the true believers. Mahdi. Because al-Mahdi (alaihis alam) is already alive, and working, it is haram for anyone to declare Jihad anywhere in the world, without him. How many Middle Eastern countries are teaching their populations of his advent, not denying him, and the rights of the Quraysh and the Mahdi over them? First the entire world must speak of nothing else other than him, love for him must enter the recesses of our hearts, but today these countries are in complete denial. The only country which asks Allah to send forth the Mahdi, opposes and oppresses with laws the very teachings which connect us to him.

Our (Transmitted) Message

For the entire nation, and especially those in Iraq and Jerusalem, our (transmitted) message (from our Masters) is, obey your leaders and follow the example of the Prophet (S) who declared, “I am leaving for you two precious and weighty symbols that if you adhere to both of them you shall not go astray after me. They are, the Book of Allah, and my progeny, that is my Ahlul-Bayt”.

You must love the Ahlul Bayt and follow their example if you seek peace. Their method is to remain steadfast in the face of oppression and persecution. Look at their history, they were murdered, their fathers were poisoned, their children were killed, their women were unveiled, and yet they continued to thank Allah, and guide people to good works and patience. They spread Islam, taught Iman and Ihsan to the greatest scholars of the Sunni and Shia world, under such conditions. These illustrious Imams preached patience to their followers, and trained them to recognize God, equipping them with the greatest weapon, which makes one victorious, knowledge of Truth, and to be Haqqani, supporters of Truth. It was the practice of these Imams to give hope to their followers through the good news of the Mahdi al-Muntazr (alaihi salam) during whose time wrong will be righted.

May Allah enable you to decipher what is being sent to us as information to understand what is happening now. Where there is darkness, the only way to remove it is through light. The Imams and their teachings are the light needed to extinguish the darkness of Dajjal. That is why Dajjal will be killed by the party of al-Mahdi. There is a great secret in this, but who is listening to understand it?

Jalia til Qadr

The venerable late Muhaddith of Hijaz; ‘Shaykh al-Islam fil-Balad al-Haram’ as-Sayyid Muhammad ibn ‘Alawi al-Makki (rah) used to make it a practice with his students to recite the Qaseeda Jalia til Qadr on the 17th of each month, this Qaseeda under the spiritual gaze of Shaykh al-Islam fil Balad al-Haram, opens our hearts to Truth, and highlights the importance of following the example of the illustrious Ahlul Bayt, identifying them for us as “Hasnain, ‘Ali Sajjad, wa bi Baqir, wa bi Sadiq, wa bi Kadhim, and Radha. Naqihum, wa Taqihum, wa bi ‘Askari, the Twelve Imams, and the Seal of them, the descendant of the Prophet Muhammad (S), Muhammad Mahdi our guide, the Awaited Imam”. Those who wish to see the destruction of the heritage sites in Hijaz come to an end, must follow in the example of the venerale Muhaddith, Sayyid Muhammad ibn Alawi (qad) and push for the same reform he pushed for and recite this Qasida, because it will help connect one to Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamah and the Twelve Imams. It will bring help from the heavens for us. Here are the verses from the Qaseeda about the Twelve Imams in Arabic,

وكذا بفاطمة التي فَضُلَتْ على كل النِّسَاء وقلِّدَتْ عِقدَ الفَخرأيضاً
وبالحَسَنين سِبطي سيِّد ال كونين مَن بكِسائِهِ لهُما ستر
وبعمه العباسِ ثمَّ بنجلِهِ ال حَبر عبد الله نِبراس الفِكر

وكذا بكل الآل والأصحاب وال أزواجِ والعمات ربَّاتِ الخَفر
وعليٌّ السَّجَّادِ مِصباحِ الدُّجَى وبباقرٍ مَن للمعالمِ قدْ بقر
وبصَادقٍ وبكاظمٍ ثمَّ الرِّضَى مَن للمَساجد والمدارس قد عَمر
والأمْجَدَين نقِيهُم وتقِيهُم وبعسكري أئِمَّة اثني عشر
وبختْمِهم نجْلَ الرَّسُول مُحَمد مَهدِينَا الآتِي الإمَام المُنتظَر

Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal related in Musnad-e-Ahmad: “…By virtue of them (the Substitutes: Al Abdaal), Allah Almighty provides rain and by virtue of them, Allah Almighty provides help against the enemies. By virtue of them, Allah Almighty’s punishment is averted“(Musnad-e-Ahmad).
