This evening was a reminder that the opportunity for a great photo can come at any moment.

I’ve been sitting at my computer all day editing photos when I glance out my window around 4:30PM and the sky is ablaze and the pavement is a reflection of purples, reds and oranges. I quickly grab my camera and race down to the waterfront with hopes of getting a photo of the skyline with the amazing sunset behind it.

I’m almost at the waterfront when I get stopped at a red light. Looking up at the sky I know that the amazing sunset is on its way out and I’m not going to make it down to the waterfront in time. Instead I pull into the adjacent parking lot, jump out and get as much shots off as I can before the colors faded to dark grays.

I love stormy days like this. It pours all day creating rivers and lakes on my street and then just as dusk comes the rain ceases and blue sky appears to provide an amazing sunset.

The weather has been grey – both within and without.

But then I decided to open my eyes, to look out and seize the beauty of a moment or two.

To drink in this glorious blaze before the fade, where trees rise up from golden pools of light like graceful girls with flaming red hair.

I walked on the golden carpet, focused inwards… Then I looked up and saw I was surrounded by a halo of light, a tunnel of friendly leaves.

So, drink in the colours, apply the balm to your soul and celebrate the autumn – which blazes so magnificently as it slowly fades away.

Aflame! Sorry but I do not mean an excited car out here. lol.

I witnessed a car burning in flames last night when going to meet a friend. It was just about 200 meters from the car when I, riding on my motor cycle, was signaled by a medium built guy to stop. At first I thought it might be another mugger as it was already about 10 pm and there are rarely any people on that road. But I slowed down and the guy screamed out not to go ahead as there is a car burning, fearing it might burst at any moment. I stopped and watched the blaze. It was mainly in the bonnet while some streaks of fire could be seen at the bottom of the car as well. For a moment I watched how serious it was. Was it by some miscreants or was it an accident? There were a host of other people and vehicles lined up at a safe distance while further frantic calls were being made by the same guy who signaled at me to stop other approaching vehicles. After a while I started at full throttle, wore my helmet and raced past the blazing car. At the same time when I was starting, a mini fire truck wailed beside me and parked just crossing the car. As I reached a possibly safe distance, I could imagine a sigh of relief in the watching small group.

I returned back through the same road after some time and could see that the situation was back to normal. This time again, I stopped and walked near the vehicle to have a look at the damage. There were some 6-7 people with the car this time, 2-3 of them discussing possibly about the dealer of the car, damage compensation etc. On asking one guy standing beside, he told me that the engine just caught fire, possibly overheating or some electrical glitch somewhere.

The car was a brand new Tata Indica GLS. This was a live sight I had witnessed after reading stories of 3 such car fires in the local newspapers in last 2 months.

So on Saturday the 22nd of August we were asked to help out at the callon gala day, and were also given the opportunity to publicise both our group and the club.

We had our own stall displaying photographs of previous projects the group have taken part in over the years and had some of our costumes on display for people see. Our stall definately was bold and bright, decorated with many of the banners the group had painted.

As well as our own stall we were asked to run the music for the event, we were provided the system and although there were a few problems we overcame them and music definately livened up the atmosphere on the pad.

We also supported the stalls for the bespoke project which was canvasing for opinions of the estate in a fun and interactive way.

A lot of rumours and such have been going around the callon estate with many people thinking that St Teresa’s parish centre is closed.
So as a group we decided to raise its profile a bit by giving it a bit of a face lift!

Criminals set ablaze three vehicles, machine

HAZARIBAG: A group of criminals, claiming themselves to be members of Jharkhand Sanyukt Morcha, raided a railway construction site at village
Khalari under the Simaria police station in Chatra district on Wednesday night and set ablaze three vehicles and one machine, Chatra SP Narendra Kumar said on Thursday.

The SP said the group of seven miscreants was led by one Ritesh Kumar. Five of them were carrying countrymade revolvers while the remaining two were wielding lathis.

The SP said immediately after reaching spot, he held talks with the contractor who was monitoring the construction work at the Reach no. 13 of the under construction Koderma-Hazaribag-Barkakana-Ranchi railway line.

The contractor claimed property worth Rs 1 crore was damaged in the incident.

The SP suspected the crime was committed in connivance with the munshi, contractor and the truck owner. The burnt vehicles were stolen properties. They somehow got the vehicles insured and set them ablaze to claim money from the insurance company concerned, the SP added.

“The extremist colour to the incident was given to mislead the police. The Simaria police have registered a case in this connection and further investigation is on,” the Chatra SP said, claiming this incident will have no impact on construction work at Koderma-Hazaribag-Barkakana-Ranchi railway line.

Hazaribag SP Pankaj Kamboj said the place of occurrence was just 7.5 km away from Hazaribag border and it was the Hazaribagh police which reached the spot first. Kamboj said no organization, known as Jharkhand Sanyukta Morcha, exists in the area.

Next week marks the official start of Zendikar preview week over at Wizards official Magic website. Players everywhere are dying to find out the Zendikar story and start getting a taste of the new cards. The official Zendikar mini siteis up and running, complete with the orb of insight. Other sites too offer offical spoilers, as many renound Magic websites have been given a preview card.  

If you can’t wait or want more info, check out the unofficial spoilers sites such as MTG Salvation, where new cards are already being leaked. Beware, however, while usually accurate, not all cards are as spoiled.

So far, What has been spoiled, both officially and unofficially, makes Zendikar seem like a very interesting and mysterious place.

Once of the things that make the new set so intriguing is several new card types.  A specific type of instant; trap, has already been officially spoiled. Played like regular instants, traps have a alternate mana cost if certain conditions are met, such as an opponent playing two or more ceatures during a turn.

Ally creature-type cards have also been seen in the unofficial annals. These cards have an additional type, ally, aside from their creature type. By the looks of it, ally cards affect other ally cards, such as adding plus one plus one counters to other ally cards, or recieving them if another ally enters play. It will be interesting to see what else they might do.

Quests will be making an apperance too, in the form of enchanments, according to some spoilers. These enchantments gain a “quest” counter when a certian condition, such as a creature going to the graveyard, which can be removed once they reach a certian count to produce an effect (along with the sacrifice of the enchantment).

These new enchantments, along with traps, just might add quite a bit of second-guessing and long-term planning to the game, if the corresponding cards are worth playing competitively. Chump blocking 1/1 tokens is a no-brainer; but what if the opponent can make a 5/5 zombie if you kill three of thier creatures?

It seems some new keywords, both officially spoiled, will be making an appearance too. Kicker, allows players to pay an additional cost to get an additional or boosted effect when playing a spell. This has been seen previously in the Invasion block on both creature and non-creature cards, some of which were very popular (Kavu Titan and Orim’s Chant). In some cases it gives a card early and late game relevance. 

The Landfall keyword means a permanant has an effect triggered whenever a land is played by its controller. For example; Rampaging Baloths, an officially spoiled card, creates a 4/4 beast token whenever its controller plays a land. This mechanic has the potential to be very popular, as it rewards you for doing something you would normally do anyway; play the lands in your hand. It might also make late game land draws much less of a hinderance.

Another keyword, intimidate, has been seen as well. Creatures with intimidate may only be blocked by artifact creatures or creatures sharing a color with the beastie.

Several “tribes” appearing in Zendikar have also been revealed. It seems vampires will finally be getting a prominant place in a card set. Goblins (they seem to making a functional goblin lackey!) have also been seen on various cards, along with Merfolk. The Kor will be returning as well, though it isn’t know whether they will retain their damage-shunting abilities.  

Planeswalkers are back, as most of us know already. Two of them; Sorin Markov and Chandra, Ablaze have already been officially spoiled and can be found in various places. Nissa Revane is the only one remaning in secrecy, though many feel the mono-colored nature of her fellows betray her color as well.  

As far as the storyline of the set is concerned, from what I can tell so far, Zendikar is a plane of high adventure. It seems from what has been revealed, exploration and relic hunting is the name of the game. Pictures of swarthy adventures covered in gear (lots and lots of grappling equipment; perfect for all of those flying island things) abound.  

Zendikar looks to me like the most unique set to come out in awhile. Some may not like this idea, but I’m looking forward to new things in the realm of magic.

Todays entry is special, well to me. Cos i am going to share my faith story. Some of you all might think “what is he talking about?” but a faith story is a story of someone coming to know Jesus. The reason why I want to let you all know is because Jesus loves you. I also just learn the meaning of faith Story in Ablaze.

So this is my faith story:

At a very young age, my family faced some challenges that led to my parents divorce. And due to this, I never got to see my father a lot. Throughout childhood, I would miss my dad and feel quite sad that I couldn’t see him as often as I wanted. This sadness turned into frustration and eventually into anger. The problem that I had once seen in my family had eventually become the struggle I would have to battle with everyday. Not only that, my mother is always not home due to work and i dont get to see her often.

Everyday my mother would canned me because I never finish my homework or being a naughty boy. My mother would even ask my father to come over and continue to canned me. Everyday, I would have scar and blood all over me and i always hold my anger and my hatered in my heart.

When I get to school, people know me as the “Hulk”,”Angry Man” and many more they can think off. The reason for that is because of my anger. The anger that has long kept in my heart has been unleashed towards my friends and sometimes even teachers. Due to my anger, i have decided to be a “ebel”. I still remember i started drinking when I was 12 years old. I started lying to my parents and teacher regarding homeworks and sometimes even results. But things began to change when i met my science teacher at 13 years old.

One day, i was walking to the canteen for lunch and I was a group of friends inside a science lab and also i saw my science teacher. It was funny because he wasnt having detention with my friends. He was telling story and I was like “why would you listen to story in your lunch time?.thats silly”(Was saying it with a lot of bad words). But one thing i notice is that my friends, they seem to accept me for who i am and they werent afraid of me. I find it weird.

However, one day at school, during lunch time, I was walking with my friends. Suddenly, I saw my science teacher in the science lab and he asked me to come and see him. I wasn’t sure as to why he had wanted to speak with me, and never would have known that this moment would hold the transformation of my life. As he had noticed the challenges I had faced, out of care and concern he began helping me. He led me to the story of Jesus Christ being the Son of God, coming down to his earth to die for our sin. He said that in John 3:16 – “For God so love the world that he gave his one and only son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
At that point I was amazed that to know that someone actually loved me so much to the extent of sacrificing His life for me. I felt in my heart that this love was a very different kind of love that I have been used to. Compelled by this love, I opened my heart up to God to begin His transformation process in me and invited Him into my life to be Lord. And I never regretted making that decision.

Eversince then, my life is been change. I no longer get very angry easily towards small things. I began to forgive my parents for what they have done. I love my parents more now and also love God even more as I know Him more.

So yea, this is my short story. God is real and everyone might not be able to see Him or able to prove that He exsist physically, but look at me, If God wasnt real, I would still be a rebel like couple years ago. My life would never be the same again because of God. Also, I now look forward to the day when I am able to meet God face to face. The main things is that, God loves all of us no matter who you are, a muderer, a buglar, a theif, a lyer, a drinker, a bully. God still loves you and He is waiting at your doorsteps and waiting for you to allow him to come into your life.

Hey Guys,
Today,1st August marks a special day for a lovely friend of mine. I met him last year and seriously I am very glad to have him as a friend and able to share life with him. We went to the same life-group together and now we have separated to different group but friendship remains forever.

Glad to have him as a friend and seriously, I have seen him grow so much and he is always faithfull to God and always have the desire to know God.
