Múrcia és un destí molt poc conegut. Ningú no va a Múrcia, a no ser que hi tingui parents. Ningú no pensa en Múrcia per passar un pont o unes petites vacances. I, si imaginem Múrcia a l’estiu te la seva lògica, tot i que Múrcia te platges maravelloses, i zones de la seva costa, com ara les compreses entre Mazarrón i Aguilas, son una passada. Però Múrcia és molt més que les platges verges de la costa rocosa o les platges turístiques del mar Menor. Múrcia és una ciutat agradable, amb grans atractius artístics, amb una regió al seu voltant amb tota mena de reclams turístics de primer ordre. Només en citaré alguns. A Múrcia capital teniu la Catedral, (a la foto), els carrers del casc antic, amb els seus palaus i esglèsies, plenes d’obres d’art, i museus com el Salzillo, amb els passos de setmana santa d’aquest artísta genial. La setmana santa es viu a Múrcia capital, i a tota la província, amb un fervor especial. Els actes són dignes de veure’s. Si parlem de la regió teniu Caravaca de la Cruz, i el seu santuari. O bé Lorca, una sobirana ciutat, plena d’art. O la militar Cartagena. O la blanca Águilas, a tocar del mar. L’interior depara sorpreses com la Sierra de Espuña, pulmó natural de la zona, el vall de Cieza, o Calasparra amb el seu arròs. El paisatge mineral i llunar dels voltants de La unión, zona minera poderosa, atrau als mineralogistes i als amants del turisme industrial. Per dormir us recomanem els hotels que les grans cadenes tenen a la capital. Sovint en palaus impressionants, molt bé de preu quan no hi ha executius agressius a la vista. Com ara el NH Rincón de Pepe, o l’NH Amistad. O bé cèntric com l’Hotel Arco de San Juan. O els preciosos AC-Hotels, com el Ciutat de Múrcia. Hem dormit a tots ells i us assegurem que són fantàstics. Per menjar aneu pels voltants de la plaça de Sant Joan i mengeu productes frescos de l’horta murciana. Tota mena de verdures a la planxa. Una delícia!.

Her kommer en forsinket rapport om stemningen til kampen mod Slagelse på Horsens Stadion d. 8. november 2009.

Dette var den første kamp, hvor vi har været fuldtallige. Hurra for det!
Som altid var alle fanklubbens flag nede ved siden af buret, hvor de ikke gjorde den store nytte rent stemningsmæssigt. Skandaløst, at folk, der vil skabe stemning på et stemningsafsnit, bliver forvist fordi “man ikke kan se noget for flagene”. Ganske enkelt tragisk. Så der var ikke den store tifo fra fanklubben af, udover en gennemsnitlig halstørklæde-tifo under “Vores ACH”, som nogle af os gik glip af, fordi vi skulle have os en lille snak med vagterne udenfor stadion fordi vi simpelthen bare er nogle farlige folk.

Men vi kom da ind med livet (og vores tifo) i behold. Og der gik heller ikke længe fra vi kom ind til udeholdet kom på banen tæt forfulgt af den sædvanlige pibekoncert.

Så var det De Gules tur. Da vi kun var fire (og stadig fuldtallige), kunne vi ikke få gang i al vores tifo. Men tre flag og et topindsbanner røg i luften under indløbet. Vores tifo og børnenes tifo nede ved buret var det eneste, der var værd at se på fra Horsens’ side. Slagelse Fanatics (og de andre fraktioner) virkede ret så anonyme hele kampen igennem. Nogle flag under indløbet har det eneste, man umiddelbart så til dem hele kampen igennem. Og man hørte da slet intet.

Stemningen under kampen var gennemsnitlig. Vi skabte rimelig god stemning på Øst på trods af, hvor få vi var. Vi sang igennem på alle de sange, vi kunne genkende oppe fra YC og sang også et par af vores egne. Vi hoppede betydeligt mere end dem på YC, der kun hoppede en enkelt gang under hele kampen. Fin stemning blandt os. Hvis vi dog bare var nogle flere…

Kampen endte 4-0 til Horsens, og sejren var mere end almindeligt velfortjent. Stemningen gennem hele kampen var middelmådig og skuffende i forhold til hvor stor sejren var, og hvor godt Horsens’ spil på banen var i forhold til Slagelses.

Assassins Creed 2 contains some great ideas and is an excellent addition to the franchise. It feels more expansive and just overall larger than it’s predecessor. Most of all, the Storytelling is some of the most powerful I have seen in a game. Sure you see it coming from a mile away but the illusion of the likability of all the characters makes their story to powerful to end. Visually this game is superb, it captures all the aesthetic parts of italy from florence to Venice with such ar’e moire. The italian language that people keep speaking is frustrating if you do not put the subtitles on but for me it made the game all that much more believable. The Game has been expanded huge on the collectable part and everything feels like the Ocarina of Time…which isn’t a bad thing. It’s just epic. This is my game of the year, and I love it.

London is widely known for its history and culture but the city is equally popular for its sports. The Premier League boasts of having as many as five clubs from London. And Tottenham’s crushing victory at the weekend just reinforced that the city’s footballing pedigree.

The results of the weekend meant that currently there are three London based clubs in the Top Four of the league. Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham all hail from the city so famous for its half caste weather that it even inspired a poem about the same.

In Arsenal and Chelsea, London has two teams which are regular contenders for the title. Between them the two sides have won the league 16 times and are the only teams beside Manchester United to win the league in the last 15 years.

Tottenham are also no push overs and despite not having quite the level of success as the other two in recent times; they can boast of an impressive history. This means that the city has at least three highly competitive clubs which is an unprecedented  number.

History of Football & London

Many may be unaware but football and London have a long history together dating back to almost 1175. William FitzStephen describes ball games played by kids in schools in his description of London written sometime between 1174 to 1183.

Even after the game was outlawed in the Kingdom because of its previously violent nature many in the city continued playing it.One of the first forms of organised football was also held here by Richard Mulcaster, the famous English educator, with referees and rules.

The FA, the oldest footballing body, was also born in London in 18 63 and thus the city is the birthplace of modern day football clubs. Things however weren’t all that rosy as many of the original members broke away from the FA and founded the Rugby Football Union.

Of all the London teams, Fulham is the oldest having been established all the way back in 1879. Tottenham followed in 1882 before Arsenal was set up in 1886. Chelsea were born in the 20th century in 1905.

Other Great Footballing Cities

The truth is that London has only shot to prominence because of Chelsea’s Ambrahimovic takeover. Before that London was no match to the footballing mecca that is Milan.

The fashion capital of the world takes an equal amount of pride in its two great footballing teams viz. AC Milan and Inter Milan. These two sides are two of the most successful clubs on the globe.

Both have won the Italian league 17 times. AC Milan are also the European kings having won the prestigious trophy seven times second only to Real Madrid. Inter have picked up the trophy twice.

The other great city to boast of equally grand clubs is Rome – home to AS Roma and Lazio. Both the Italian capital sides have enjoyed varying degrees of success over the years but have huge reputations.

Interestingly both Milan & Inter and Roma & Lazio share their stadia. Whilst the Milan clubs ply their trade at the San Siro, the Romans play at the Stadio Olimpico, venue of last year’s Champions League final.

Manchester – A New Rival

Manchester United may be ‘Enemy#1′ for all English clubs. But with the exception of the Red Devils the city’s other team, Manchester City, have been relatively unsuccessful. In fact the famous Man Utd chant goes “There’s only one Manchester”.

However all that may be set to change in the coming few years. Thanks to the Dubai takeover of the club, City boast of a budget which is unmatched in English football. Though recent results may indicate that the club is still far from the ‘Top Four’ but if their buying pattern continues they are sure to be there sooner rather than later.

However as things stand if not the world, London is most certainly the best footballing city in the country. And with the mouth-watering Arsenal -Chelsea game coming up this weekend. Things are just getting better.
