Turkey Canyon Trail in the Lincoln National Forest 10/11

We hiked this trail with the West Texas Trailwalkers.   We did the 10k option a climb of 1,190 feet. This is an out and back hike in the upper Bonito Creek drainage that had multiple creek crossings and beautiful forest scenery.  190 more words

We passed through Hondo on our way to Ruidoso.  We stopped at the Hondo Iris Garden.
