That’s right. Channing Tatum, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Robert Hoffman, Briana Evigan, Rick Malambri, Sharni Vinson, along with SYTYCD/DWTS dancers, etc. are attending/ making appearences at the first ever DizzyFeet! (A foundation founded in 2009 which helps underprivileged young people realize their dream of becoming professional dancers and to support, improve, and increase access to dance education in the Unites States.)

According to Channing Tatum Unwrapped:

Jenna Dewan-Tatum tweeted yesterday that she would be both presenting and performing with “So You Think You Can Dance” dancers and more at the upcoming Dizzy Feet Foundation benefit, and today, she announced that Chan would also be presenting with her.

Dizzy Feet Foundation was founded in 2009 by producer Nigel Lythgoe, director Adam Shankman, “Dancing with the Stars” judge Carrie Ann Inaba and actress Katie Holmes to help underprivileged young people realize their dream of becoming professional dancers and to support, improve, and increase access to dance education in the Unites States.

Guided by a board consisting of some of the most illustrious names in the American dance community, the foundation’s mission is threefold: (1) to provide scholarships to talented students studying at accredited dance schools, studios, or institutions; (2) to establish national standards for dance education and an accreditation program for dance schools in all of the major styles of dance; and (3) to develop, provide, and/or support dance education programs for disadvantaged children through and with local community organizations.

Dizzy Feet’s first-ever fundraising gala, CELEBRATION OF DANCE, is taking place at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood, California on Sunday, November 29th 2009 at 3PM.

All of the leads from ‘Step Up‘, ‘Step Up 2: The Streets‘, and ‘Step Up 3D‘ will make appearances at the event. As I mentioned earlier, Jenna and Chan will be presenting and Jenna will also perform.

Alyson Stoner keeps it cute in an LBD as she arrives at the premiere of Old Dogs held at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood on Monday night (November 9).

The 16-year-old actress recently caught up with JJJ and told us a bit about her upcoming flick, Step Up 3D.

Alyson shared, “The choreography and the dance battles are eye-popping, mind-blowing excitement from start to finish. It’s crazy what they’ve come up with – the special effects and the 3-D technology really adds another layer to it. This is a legitimate dance movie too! It isn’t cheesy…for the most part…and I haven’t seen many of them, but I know that this one isn’t going to be cheesy.”

ALSO, Alyson chatted with Seventeen Magazine not too long ago about her character Camille in the new Step Up movie as well as MOOSE!

Alyson is currently in New York filming Step Up 3D, the first dance movie in 3D technology. “I play Camille, Tyler Gage’s little sister and now Moose’s best friend who’s been accepted into NYU. She’s planning to pursue that area and hopefully grow closer to Moose because she’s secretly madly in love with him.”

So apparently Adam was NOT one of the dancer at Britney Spears Circus Tour show in Los Angeles. My mistake, I received the information via fans whom attended the concert on September 23rd.

As far as I know (although I keep hoping they’ll surprise us), neither Channing Tatum nor Jenna Dewan are in the third installment of the extremely popular ‘Step Up‘ franchise they started in 2006. Regardless, I’ll be one of the first in line with glasses in hand to see ‘Step Up 3D‘ when it hits theaters next August.

‘Step Up 3D‘ takes the dance battling global; The story follows a passionate, tight-knit group of street dancers (featuring Rick Malambri and Sharni Vinson with the returning actors Adam G. Sevani and Alyson Stoner) who find themselves pitted against the world’s best breakdancers in a high-stakes showdown.

Check your local listings for all of the show times.

Meet one of my favorite people and directors, the talented Jon Chu.  Some may recognize him from the Miley Cyrus youtube dance off videos, his guest spot on Ellen, the Teen Choice Awards or as the director of Step Up 2: The Streets and soon to be Step up 3D.  Jon and some other skilled people in the business have been locked in a room secretly building a project that combines music, dance, story telling, sport and interactive media.

They call the project LXD, which stands for the Legion of Extraordinary Dancers. Partnering up with Agility Studios, Jon and his crew have gathered their army and have been slowly but surely creating something really special.

The intense underground street dancing scene of New York City is back in an all-new installment of ‘Step Up,’ and ET is behind the scenes for the first-ever 3D dance drama!

In theaters summer 2010, ‘Step Up 3′ goes global: The story follows a passionate, tight-knit group of street dancers (featuring Rick Malambri, Sharni Vinson, with the returning Adam Sevani and Alyson Stoner) who find themselves pitted against the world’s best breakdancers in a high-stakes showdown. Can they beat the odds and step up to the top?

“This is the big, big final battle,” says Sharni. “My trainer says that when you’re working for the Olympics you don’t work this hard.”

“There’s 10 times more dancing than the last movie,” says Adam.

“It adds another layer, another energy,” agrees Alyson.

Jon M. Chu, who made his feature directorial debut on the box-office hit ‘Step Up 2: The Streets,’ returns to direct, with authentic locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

“There’s an epic amount of dancers on stage right now, just to fit them all in is craziness,” says Jon about the day’s big dance scene.

The influence of Michael Jackson’s moves and music is definitely not lost on this cast and crew, and ‘Step Up 3′ co-choreographer Jamal Sims says his first paid dance gig was for Michael’s video “Remember the Time.”

“I was 17, went in there nervous off the streets,” says Jamal. “I went in front of him and did the dance, and went over in the corner and he looked over and gave me the thumbs up. So I got the thumbs up from Michael.

“Even today, before we started, everybody decided we’re gonna do this for Michael,” he continues. “I think he’d be proud to see this going on in his honor.”

Filming has officially begun in New York City on the third “Step Up” movie, which follows a tight-knit group of street dancers trying to beat some of the world’s best breakdancers in a showdown. Alyson Stoner and Adam Sevani reprise their roles from the first two dance dramas, but along with a few familiar faces expect to see something else new (no, not any street dancers busting out to “Macarena”): 3-D cinematography.

The third “Step Up” is the first 3-D movie to film entirely in New York City, and also the first-ever 3-D dance flick. Expect a summer 2010 release, but in the meantime, check out our list of the familiar Big Apple sites we’re thrilled to see on the big screen in 3-D … and which ones we’re not so sure about.

Thrilled to see pop out of the screen:

1. THE ARCHITECTURE
New York is home to some of the most famous and fabulous structures in the world (the Chrysler Building is a personal fave), so I wouldn’t mind getting an up-close view of all those flying buttresses and groin vaults.

2. PIZZA PIE
I may not read Gourmet magazine, but that doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy a little food porn now and again. In 3-D I imagine every speckle of grease and every strand of mozzarella would be magnified to a I-just-can’t-resist degree. I’m hungry already.

3. CHANNING TATUM
No word yet on whether the original “Step Up” dance master will be making a three-peat by making a cameo in the third flick, but just considering it makes me a little giddy.

Not so sure we’d want to be grabbing at these images:

1. SEWER RATS
They’re scary enough when scurrying underfoot, but tens of feet tall, in multiple dimensions? No thank you.

2. SPEEDING CABS
With taxis whizzing by like they’re drag racing on the Autobahn, one of my biggest nightmares is being struck while I’m crossing the street. A 3-D cab barreling down on me, even just in the multiplex, would surely cause a panic attack.

3. THE NAKED COWBOY
‘Nuff said.

Principal photography has begun in NYC on the third movie in the hit ‘Step Up’ film franchise — and this time the dance drama is coming to you in eye-popping Digital 3-D.

Alyson Stoner (‘Step Up’) and Adam Sevani (‘Step Up 2 the Streets’) reprise their original roles in the third film — helmed by ‘Step Up 2′ director Jon M. Chu — which follows a tight-knit group of street dancers as they take on the world’s best breakdancers in life-changing showdown.

The first 3-D dance flick to shoot entirely in NYC is slated for a 2010 release.

Most of my contributions to The ‘Nova are comments here and there – usually about the awesomeness that is Tiny T. But this little gem made its way into my inbox from The General and it’s worth sharing.  And since I know how much the boys enjoy any type of dance choreography, I thought The ‘Nova was the perfect place to share it.

Those of you who enjoy Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory will not need any background on this spoof of Rob’s dance routine “Butter Feet” choreographed by ACDC’s (not the band with the dude who insists on only wearing shorts, rather the Adam/Chu Dance Crew) Adam Sevani and staring SuperFan Cole Hernandez.

Turns out Cole is also a fan of the Denver Nuggets and has performed during the Nuggets half time show. Throw it all in the blender – add a mix of marketing genius and you get Nugget Feet:
