Bidvertiser adalah Program Pay Per Click, yang juga cukup populer di kalangan netpreuneur, karena kemudahan untuk kita untuk bergabung tanpa mengeluarkan biaya alias Gratis, serta pencairan dana yang lebih cepat yaitu di $ 50. walaupun program Iklan ini tidak sebaik google adsense, tetapi cukup ampuh untuk meraup ribuan dollar dalam sebulan.

Menurut aku Walaupun Program Pay Per Click adbrite ini tak sebaik Google adsense dan bidvertiser,tapi program ini cukup lumayanlah untuk meraih dollar dan kemudahan dalam pencairan cek, minimum pembayaran adalah sebesar $ 25.

What would Google do if there were a national ad click day–where everyone everywhere clicked on as many online ads as they could that day? Heck, we could even have an international ad click day…that would really mess things up. In fact, why stop with just one day? Let’s make it an ad click week, or month. Would advertisers have to pay for all those clicks or would Google’s “technology” be able to decipher which ones were legit? What about people with Adsense on their blogs? Would those bloggers just get screwed out of those commissions?

I’ll be the first to admit Google has a great search tool. But am I alone in thinking that they have gotten too big for their britches? Think about it. If you have Adsense on your website, you cannot even encourage your visitors to patronize your sponsors. What other business in the world tells their customers  NOT to visit or patronize their advertisers? Has Google ever unveiled or published the technology or algorithm they use to decipher legitimate from fraudulent clicks? Why isn’t it posted on their Adsense site? Who is Google to tell a user whether or not a visitor is legitimate or not? Does’t Google owe it to their advertisers on Adwords as well as their Adsense customers to communicate to them how they are getting paid? If I’m an advertiser, I want quality leads–but I also want as many leads or people looking at my product as possible. If  there were more clicks on ads, the cost per click would go down and actually decrease advertising costs. Google doesn’t want costs to advertisers to decrease because then they can’t gouge them as much. Isn’t price gouging in some industries illegal??? Gasoline comes to mind.

Google’s response might be that by publishing their algorithm that determines click fraud, they would be helping their competitors. Actually, they would be helping the industry as a whole and Their Customers! Google doesn’t want to publish that information because then both advertisers and website publishers would see how royally they are getting ripped off.

Google’s real product is their search engine. I don’t have any problem with them not sharing that information. If they did share their search formulas, and perhaps they already have, most people wouldn’t understand it anyway. Besides, there are only a couple other players in the search market anyway. By not sharing how they determine click fraud, they continue to support their own wide profit margins at the expense of advertisers and website publishers. That makes perfect business sense, as long as you support the idea of price gouging. Maybe the government should look in to whether or not there is any anti-trust stuff going on here.

Fortunately, although a bit late, there are other competitors on the pay per click scene that are emerging. Just to name a few: Bidvertiser, advertising.com, blogads, Adbrite, and Videoegg. Unfortunately, many ad networks follow Google’s lead by not disclosing their margins. Let me be more precise here. I am not asking them to disclose margins–simply publish how click fraud is determined. A publisher can merely compare how much they get paid from one network vs. another. However that can be very time consuming, cumbersome, and expensive.

Google, if you want to do your fans and customers a favor, share with everyone how you determine click fraud. I, for one, would like to encourage my visitors to patronize my advertisers. In the meantime, hopefully  some ad network will emerge with fairness and transparency–something that, in my opinion, Google has not done a good job of.

In conjunction with the Web 2.0 Expo, Girls in Tech organized a special evening panel on “The Women of BD” featuring the heads of Business Development from Yelp,AdBrite, Bebo and CBS Interactive.  The event was a standing-room only, smashing success with well over a hundred people in attendance!

So, I read an article on Editor and Publisher about the Fair Syndication Consortium.

Basically, if a newspaper article (or anything) is found on another site other than the original author, the Consortium will be able to track it and get compensation from the site’s administrator in the form of ad revenue from ads on that site. The technology exists to track such content, so why not use it to the creator’s advantage?

I thought, “YES! That’s awesome! Why did no one think of this before!”

But, I wonder, what happens when articles or content are put onto a site that doesn’t generate revenue from ads?

Regardless, I think this is a good step for publishers to take. A lot of providers have joined including Conde Nast. I’m really hoping it yields the desired results.

There are several ways to earn money from the Internet. The most common is Google’s AdSense, where you insert a peace of code into your web site and you start to earn money. There is however another adds service available, AdBrite. From our experience, adBrite can sometimes be more rewarding than AdSense but in the long run it is not the best choise. If you use both of them, it is defenetly not a good idea to place two different ad services on the same page. AdBrite highlights some text and shows a little popup when you place the mouse pointer over while AdSense does show only text links or images. However, We do not recomand the use of any of these free ad services because the money you will earn is prety low compared to the time and effort you put in the promoting of your web site. To earn money you have to convince the user to click on the ads. Most users wont even bother to click on your ads, no mater what you do. Placing ads on your web site is unprofessional, more like a hobby.

Lately, most users think of a web site with ads as a low-cost or poor man’s web site with low-quality content. Only two big exceptions are known by us: torrent search engines with ads and file servers with discreet ads placed so that you cannot avoid to click them.

You control the who, where, why and when aspects of your ad campaign by specifically targeting pre-sold traffic in relation to your keyword industry terms. There are far fewer people advertising by means of adBrite. This creates the opportunity for you to saturate your name across the front page of the search engines. By expanding the number of clicks to your products or pages in dynamic measure, you will without a doubt begin to make more money from your advertising campaigns.

Adbrite is not contextual like Adsense, so the click through rate is a bit low. The best option with adbrite is the full-page advertisement and the in-text advertisement. I have tested adbrite recently and got nice clicks from the in-text ads. Since my site is full of content so the in-text ads work good. The full-page ads are usually impression based, and my traffic is not that huge, so I did not make much with the full-page CPM ads.

So, to start with here are a few steps to maximize your adbrite earnings.

1. Un-check the auto-approve of ads, and don’t approve ads below 10 cents.

2. Give a nice description of your website, remember most of the advertisers you will catch from the adbrite market place.

3. Get the big rectangles, as that is the best performing ads for any network.

4. Put up as many tags as you can, in the keywords field. Use the dictionary if you run out of keywords.

5. Make the color of the ads text and background same as rest of your website.

6. If the ads are a banner, only approve the really high CPC ads, like 50 cents or more, and for CPM ads banner, choose max you can.

These basic steps will improve your earnings a lot.
