Sitter og rocker for øyeblikket..

Forsvant visst jeg..But im back bitches! Sitter nå og rocker ut til Breaking Benjamin, en av mine favoritt bands, annbefales! Ellers i det siste har egentlig ganske mye skjedd. Lørdag jobbet jeg for harde livet og måtte nesten løpe hjem for å gjøre meg klar til bursdagsfeiringen til Line. Var litt ukomfortabelt, egentlig, siden jeg kun kjente Line der. Men etter litt smisking klarte jeg å “lokke” en arbeidskollega der til, men først måtte jeg ut på kjøretur med han, haha! Var morsomt det.. Spesielt når vi kommer tilbake og Line er dritings og ler seg ihel av alt mulig, spesielt seg selv. Var utrolig kos!

Søndagen var jo egentlig bare daffere enn daffest, våknet halv 4 om dagen. (Shit!) Og brukte egentlig tiden min foran TV’en.

Å herregud, i natt våknet jeg kl. 04.40 av at jeg satt meg opp i sengen i skrekk fordi jeg trodde jeg hadde forsovet meg, adrenalin er aldri bra å ha når du ikke er våken! I dag har jeg brukt tiden min på jobb, og ifølge NK’en (Nest kommanderende) er jeg rå, haha. huff. Uansett, så var jeg den som åpnet butikken, det vil si at jeg var den som låste opp osv. Og selvfølgelig er jeg på jobb litt tidligere enn oppført bare for å passe på at alt går smooth, og for andre gang har en av mine kollegaer skremt livskitten ut av meg mens jeg står med hodet inni safen og de sniker seg innpå, fy faen!

Er nok jobb imorgen og, og nå sitter jeg her trøtt og jævlig så hopper snart til sengs tenker jeg vel..

It scrubbed so long to get your sticky dark stain off my skin. I was left all pink and raw and new. So when I find the her, my other, I’m exposed. There are no traces of your poison left, there is no reason for me to hunch my shoulders or lower my eyes. There’s no bits of your venom in my saliva.

Opening weekend of white tail deer season is over.  Most wives dread deer season, because their husbands become obsessed with it and pay no attention to the needs and duties at home. 

Other wives love the break and like when their husbands leave for a week. It give them a break from the “Big Kid” in her brood. 

And then there is me!  I am the hunter in our family, most years anyway.  This year Ben really wanted to go to, but I am 8 months pregnant and could not participate this year.  We still went to deer camp and shot the breeze with the boys and cut up deer and all of that fun stuff, but I have to tell you not participating this year was not fun!

I love the feeling of refreshment when you sit in the deer stand all morning.  The air is clean, your mind is clean and of course your soul is clean.  Sitting still in peace and quiet is just what a person needs to re-energize.  Until, of course, that monster steps out and the commotion starts.  Scramble to get your gun up, scramble to find the site, remember that the safety is on.  Oh yeah then there’s either my dad or brother saying, “If you don’t take it right now I am going to shoot!”  So much for the peace and quiet.  But at that point the adrenalin starts to kick in and that’s even better! 

So this year we missed all of the excitement and adrenalin.  Next year though Ben and I will have to make sure we take some extra time off of work and stay out at camp.
