But as you figure, we had the EURO 2008, i have a career to look after,
minibreaks here and there, and a rockstarlife to live.
I mean: there must be a time when i experience the stuff i want to
talk about, right?

Anyway, since you seemed to like it the last time, we’re talking bout
graffiti again. I quitted that ish couple years ago, but lately my fingers
have been itching severely. They say a leopard doesn’t change
his spots.

In Frankfurt, theres not too many locations, where you could paint
without being chased by five-o. To be exact: none.

But – just a few weeks ago, this really cool location opened its arms
to street tattoing and has been hit hard ever since.
Since my homeboy Kent has a permit to paint there, you’ll be happy
to enjoy fresh new productions in the near future. (Another reason for
an RSS-Feed on this blog, btw).

Expect the next burner in a couple of days, have to fix that collage first)

This wall is from mid june. It was June, 14 to be exact.
And it felt just like in the nineties. The guys came together,
Weather was warm, beer was cold … it was just … sweet as can be.
The Wall reads:
VOKS. FUEGO. KENT. DAER. ELVIS.
Flowers are by ME/DBL (not me, thats HIS name, stupid),
Characters von MEAN14/TSA

What was really cool, was to see 3 to 4 generations of Frankfurt
coming together. Legends on the wall. From the old to the new.
From the new to the old. Those, who were there, when we started.
Us. Those after us. And even those after them.
May sound kitsch to you but: it was all love.

Who said, this shit wouldn’t connect people?

Ich weiß, ich weiß: Gab schon ne Weile nix zu lesen hier.
Aber- ihr wißt wie’s ist: EM, Karriere, Kurzurlaub, Rockstarleben.
Irgendwann muß ich ja schließlich die Dinge erleben, von denen
ich dann hier erzählen können muß. Oder wie habt ihr euch das
vorgestellt?

Naja, weil es so gut ankam, heute jedenfalls mal wieder Graffiti.
Hab ich zwar vorn paar Jahren mit aufgehört, aber irgendwie
juckts in letzter Zeit wieder schwer in den Fingern.
Außerdem läßt die Katze ja schließlich auch das Mausen nicht.
Wieauchimmer:

In Frankfurt gibt es nicht sehr viele Locations, an denen man malen kann.
Genaugenommen: Keine. Also, jdf. keine, wo einen die Grünen Blauen
nicht auf die Nerven gehen resp. festnehmen.

Vor kurzem tat sich jedoch dann doch etwas auf, das dann auch
bemalt wurde (und in Zukunft öfter werden wird).
Und da mein Kumpel Kent für diese Location ne Genehmigung hat,
wird man hier öfter mal Produktionen von dieser Location sehen können.

(Könnt euch jetzt schonmal auf das nächste Brett freuen, muß bloß
noch die Collage zusammenbasteln.)

Diese Wand hier ist von Mitte Juni. Exakterweise war es der 14. Juni.
Und es hat sich angefühlt wie in den Neunzigern.
Plötzlich kamen alle Jungs zusammen, die Sonne schien heiß,
das Bier floß kalt den Halsenab, und alles war … schön.

Schön an der Kiste war auch, das hier 3,4 Generationen Graffiti
zusammenkamen. Legenden an Wänden.
Die Leute, die vor uns kamen, wir, die Leute die
nach uns kamen, und die, die nach denen kamen, waren auch da.
Und, so kitschig es klingen mag: It was all love.

Da sag noch einer, der Mist würde die Leute nicht zusammenbringen.
Pff.

Lets start with the ANGELS of DEATH Wall.

This gem was painted yesterday in Bad Vilbel, near Frankfurt.
It’s right by the trainline, so whenever you come by, watch out
for it. For all those who a) dont live here and b) dont ride trains,
enjoy the photographs.

Wie wärs mit ein bißchen Graffiti für die Seele?
Heute gehts um eine schicke Wand, die ein paar Freunde von mir gemalt haben. Es ist gleichzeitig der Beginn der Graffitisektion in diesem Blog. Da kommt also noch öfter was in naher Zukunft.

Ich hab ja selbst eine Affinität (*hüstel*) zu diesem Thema, von daher ist es naheliegend, das ich hier auch mal ein paar Geschichten vom Stapel lasse. Vergiss also nicht deinen RSS Feeder anzuschalten, alta.
Ich werde definitiv ein paar exklusive Dinger raushauen.
Fange wir an mit der ANGELS of DEATH Wand.

Diese Perle ist gestern in Bad Vilbel, in der Nähe Frankfurts entstanden. Liegt genau an der Line (für alle Nicht-Sprüher: An der Zugstrecke), also schön die Augen aufmachen, falls ihr mal vorbeifahrt. (Edit 11/7: Die Wand ist längst übermalt, also lasst ruhig die Augen zu). Für alle, die nicht in der Nähe wohnen oder sowieso nie Zugfahren, bittesehr, hier ein paar Fotos.
