Hey! Lilguy574 here. Sorry for not posting yesterday with the updates but yeah, it was Christmas. There was a new newspaper yesterday. It contains the Coin for Change results.

They sent a post card to every penguin who donated coins! Very nice art work on the card. WOO! go teamwork!

For all you secret agents out there they sent a card to you reminding you to prepair for Mission 10 on Monday! Since it is winter break I will post the mission ASAP!

The ice rink returned at the begining of the Christmas party and I think it will stay for quite a while. If the soccer pitch returns, it will be in the summer. There is fireworks form today until January first. The Christmas Party ends on the 29th of December. There will be a new clothing catolog on January 2nd then another on February 6th.

Well, it’s been about a week and a bit since I have last posted – so I’ve got some explaining to do, yes? Well, I have been caught up in lots of blogs. Mainly because I love so many games! So, let’s get this straight.

Well, the fact is I just don’t find the inspiration anymore. But, the fact is also I have moved on from this stuff. I don’t know why it has, it just – has. But I will be making a new blog, which will be self-hosted.

So what does that mean?

• Lots of freedom. And free CSS editing.

iCopter is based on the HELPICOPTER GAME but instead of right clicking, you tap your screen. This game is highly addictive and is a great bargain at £1.19

Real Football 2009 is a great game with many features which allows you to play football/soccer on your iTouch. The controls are (Left, Right, Up, Down) and (A [Shoot] + B [All passing]). Everything is well put together but does take a while to get used to. The price, whilst high, is reasonable. £5.99

It’s been a while since I have dug out an emotional post; but I hope this one hits the note.

Recently, I have been hung, drawn & quartered by a former friend because of my attitude to blogging. Now I don’t mind that – everyone has their opinion. What I don’t get is why hatrid is such a powerful weapon to, not only him, but almost everyone.

Your kindergarten teacher probably told that ‘Hate is such a strong word’, and they weren’t lying, no matter what you think. Hate is a weapon. Hate can be used against people without you even knowing what you are doing. Hate is what was used against me.

But isn’t hate, the biggest weapon in the world?

The smaller the hatrid fueled attacks get, the more targeted they are. If you chose to attack someone by calling them names, doing things to put them in the wrong, or hurting someone close to them, then you have to think to yourself why you are doing it.

But that’s just the problem with hate, it overcomes your sense of control. When you hate someone, or something, you have targeted it and you will do silly things to get back at the person. So my debate stands there.

Is hatrid the biggest weapon?

You might think something like 9/11 was, but wasn’t that out of hate?

Anyway, I will post soon again. Sorry for my lack, been keeping in touch with all of my friends from school. It’s been a lot better. Dunno why though.

I have been on Bebo a lot recently, and on Windows Live Messenger. This is the reason I haven’t been posting much. To be honest, I might be quitting soon.

I’m not sure if this technique has been around a while or what, but I’ve just noticed it. Someone just tried to leave a comment on an older post with the usual “nice post thanks” and a smiley as the anchor text (or image in this case).

How It’s Done

These comment spammers prey on unsuspecting WordPress users by linking to their site with a smiley image like this.

Wow! Really awesome post! <a href="http://example.com">:)</a>

The smiley is then parsed into an image, which is then displayed in your WordPress comment moderation panel.

How To Spot It

In the comment moderation panel, under the smiley image you’ll notice a small, barely noticeable, underline.

This indicates the smiley is linking to something, most likely a site you wouldn’t approve of.

Conclusion

I guess spammers will never stop of thinking of new ways to spam, but it’s best to be aware of the new techniques as they come out. Have any of you seen this type of comment spam before?

Well, I thought it was about time I actually tell people about my life. Because if this is a ‘real life’ blog, I better make it one. So here goes.

My name is Keith. I’m a 12 year-old boy from Central Scotland.
           I live in a fairly modern house in a village of around 1,000 people. I am surrounded by vast countryside & fields. The village lies on top of a small hill around 500 feet high, which gives us a lovely view of the carse. The carse has a beautiful variety of green, yellow & beige fields which are all continusously being harvested. The nearest city to me is around 15 minutes drive away, although I almost feel secluded from it. 
           My computer lies in the living room of the house, or the lounge. It’s a room which used to be the main lounge before I got my extension in Summer ‘07. The desk lies against the wall as I face the screen directly in front of the beige wallpaper. To my right is my houses patio. Further beyond that is a surrounding green hedge, with a variety of bamboo, holly, and other various types of green leaves. After that is the road, which lies on a slight downhill slant and bend.
           I have one 15 year-old sister, who is called Rachel. She likes the same music and clothing brands as me, as well as shoes & images. Pretty odd. My mum & dad are the best. My dad always plays football, tennis or table tennis with me whenever I ask. My mum is always there for me if something goes wrong, and she really comforts me. My sister is really nice as well, and we are one of the unusual siblings who like each other, instead of fighting all the time.
           My main friends are called Keir & Hamish. They both live down the road from me. They are so amazing. Keir used to be ‘Doc Vok’ who some may remember. Hamish had a penguin called ‘Mishy100′ but never logged on. Some more of my good friends are Lewis, Andy (Pandy, Lol), Gavin, Calli (Callum), Sam, Cian, Aaron, Gary, Callum (another one) & many, many more. I’m not the most popular kid in school, but I am not really unpopular. Higher than middle. Ahh, it’s complicated. There are about 90 boys in S2, and everyone has their different “group”. Life’s confusing.
           My style is the same as Cian’s. Maybe Sam’s. Usually I wear; Shirt: Oakley/O’neil/Quicksilver etc. Jumper: Abecrombie & Fitch/Quicksilver etc. Hair: My hair is relatively long, slightly slanted to the left. Brown with almost unoticable blond-ish streaks. Hat: If I do it will be chunky with a pattern. Trousers/Pants: Usually Black jeans. If not school-black trousers with gray/white lines. Shoes: DC’s/Vans/Etnies/Converse. Usually black/white.
          

I may continue this later on, but for now, that’s me, my life, my style & myself.

When you have an iTouch.

I love my little pal, the iTouch. It has everything from the iPhone, but without the phone. I mean – it’s also £100 cheaper. But why is the iPhone so much more popular? No reason. Lets take a look at the iPhone:

Our maths teacher, Mrs. Hendry, is starting us up on algebra. It’s not that it’s hard to me, but ugh, it’s algebra! I think we have just finished off our ‘Scientific Notation’ and today went onto ‘Evaluating ”Squared” terms. I mean – who would want to teach maths? What kinda person?

Anyway, we have had some really boring lessons recently. Some I just want to tell the council to get rid of, because they’re so pointless & unnecessary. Anyways, here was the stuff we were doing (The stars are meaning squared):

If a = 4, b = 5, c = 7.

1a) 4a*(c - a)* = a* = 16
                           a* x 4 = 64
                           c – a = 2
                           2* = 4
                           64×4 = 256

And our damn teacher makes us write all of that working for 1 question. And we have to do, 1a – z, 2a – z, 3 – 10a – z. Grr…
