Auf meiner Suche im Netz nach interessanten News für meinen Blog, bin ich auf eine geniale Seite gestoßen, die ich euch nicht vorenthalten möchte (Um auf die Seite des Erfinders zu kommen bitte auf das Bild klicken!!).

Die Luftgitarre gehört damit wohl der Vergangenheit an!

Das AirPiano scheint nur auf Bewegungen zu gehorchen und ist ein neuartiges musikalisches Interface. Die virtuellen Tasten befinden sich über der Oberfläche und je nach dem wie lange sich die Hand an einem bestimmten Ort befindet, wird die Tonlänge bestimmt. Weitere Infos findest Du auf der Webseite www.airpiano.de. Es gibt im Moment noch keine Informationen, ob das Gerät serienmässig hergestellt wird und was es kosten würde. Eine ähnliche Anlage habe ich übrigens vor vielen Jahren im Studio des schwedischen New-Age-Musikers Ralph Lundsten gesehen. Auch er brachte mit Handbewegungen in der Luft einen Synhesizer zum Klingen.

Creado por Omer Yosha, se trata de un controlador polifónico que permite tocar instrumentos software moviendo las manos en el aire.

Sobre AirPiano hay una matriz virtual de hasta 24 teclas y 8 faders (sí, “en el aire”), asignados a mensajes MIDI y listos para ser disparados.

La duración de una nota disparada equivale al tiempo que mantenemos la mano sobre la tecla virtual, y esto se confirma con señales visuales (LEDs).

Dispone de un software que permite configurar el sistema, guardar y cargar presets y transponer notas.

Ya se, no es el primero: antes existió el Theremin, y hasta el arpa laser.

เจ้า AirPiano มีหลักการทำงานที่น่าทึ่งมากๆ เลยค่ะ โดยมันจะสร้างแมทริกซ์ของคีย์เสมือน

กับระดับคีย์อ็อคเตฟบนอากาศ ผู้เล่นสามารถทราบตำแหน่งคีย์ที่เล่นได้จากแสงของ LED

AirPiano จะทำให้เลือกออคเตฟได้ 3 ระดับ ซึ่ง AirPiano จะเชื่อมต่อกับคอมพิวเตอร์ผ่าน

ทางพอร์ต USB และควบคุมการทำงานด้วยซอฟต์แวร์ที่สามารถกำหนดคีย์ที่ต้องการเล่น

ระดับเสียง และอื่นๆ (เสียงเครื่องดนตรี, ความเร็วในการกดคีย์ ฯลฯ) โห…สุดยอด!!!

We were excited to learn of [Omer Yosha]’s AirPiano, but being the persnickety nerds we are, we think its more like a theremin than a piano. The device lets users play 24 different notes with a wave of the hand over the AirPiano. The “keys” are arranged in a matrix of three tiers with eight notes per tier; if the user sustains his or her hand over the AirPiano, the corresponding note is sustained.

It’s construction is relatively simple: an Arduino, several infrared sensors, and LEDs corresponding to the notes make up the device. It doesn’t have any built-in audio hardware at all, so it’s most basic use is as a MIDI controller. Still, it is essentially an unspecified input device, so it could theoretically be used for other purposes. For us, it’s fun to just watch the AirPiano in action.
