Today while hanging out with Rev. Al Sharpton in the studio, I found my mind reflecting deeply on the recent drama between Tiger Woods and his wife, Elin Nordegren. In spite of the fact that I was sitting next to the man who epitomizes race relations in America, no one brought up the fact that Tiger Woods is involved in an inter-racial marriage. It wasn’t because we were afraid to go there, it was just that there were more pressing issues to discuss.

Even though Rev. Sharpton and I discussed everything except for the fact that Tiger’s wife is white, one of the callers slammed the issue on the table like a five pound slab of raw chicken. The caller made the old OJ Simpson argument: “Had he been with a sister, none of this would have happened.”

While I don’t agree with the caller’s assertion (we know that marital drama knows no racial boundaries), I found it interesting that some of the black women in the studio smirked and looked at the floor, as if to say, “I hear ya girl.” These smirks were not built on agreeing with what the woman said, but rather, on the disappointment and resentment that many black women have felt about the fact that Tiger Woods almost never seemed to show any interest in African-American females. Unlike guys like myself, who admire Tiger for his achievements, I know a long list of black women who could care less if Tiger were to take his golf clubs and jump off the side of a 10-story building.

The woman’s comment about race, which again I did not agree with, led me down a trail of thought about Tiger Woods, race and how this incident is going to change the way we see him forever. One clear point that can be made relates to the OJ Simpson case. Before he was acquitted for the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson in 1995, OJ Simpson was America’s favorite black man: He didn’t have anything to do with the black community and white America loved him as much as they loved themselves. He simply turned in his “brother card,” never to be seen in a soul food restaurant again. But fate changed all that, as OJ ended up relying on support from the black community to get him through his toughest hour. White America abandoned him for committing a mortal sin: Hurting a beautiful woman with blonde hair and blue eyes. Had Nicole Brown Simpson been black, it is arguable that OJ would never have been dealt with so harshly for the next 15 years.

Tiger may be in a similar situation with his wife Elin. I seriously wonder if Elin struck Tiger with that golf club, given that Tiger was going in and out of consciousness and drove straight into a tree. It’s odd to me that one of the most focused human beings on the planet was unable to dodge large objects in the path of his automobile. But given that Tiger is the one being accused of committing adultery, one can only wonder if our society will decide that Tiger is the bad guy in this incident. Should this incident turn out to be a case of domestic violence, it should be made clear that if Tiger didn’t hit his wife, he is not the one who should be charged and vilified. There is no excuse for committing violence in a relationship, period.

We have to remember that the world changes quickly, right before our eyes: No one ever thought that OJ Simpson would be public enemy number one, and it was once a pipe dream for Barack Obama to become President of the United States. So, the idea that Tiger Woods could become ostracized by the American public for the dirt now being released about his private life is not out of the question. I am not sure which direction this saga is going to go, but I can guarantee you this: It’s going to get deeper before it’s done, since the world has been waiting to see the real Tiger Woods.

A web designer in California wants the state to make the ultimate sacrifice:  marriage for life.  No more divorces in California, if he gets his way.  He says since the state outlawed gay marriages, then the state should outlaw divorce.  Californians voted no on gay marriage because they wanted to preserve the sanctity of marriage.  If this is the case, then voters should have no problem voting no on divorce, since divorce definitely does NOT preserve the sanctity of marriage.  In order to raise money and awareness of the potential vote, he is selling t-shirts for $12.  The t-shirts feature a man and woman stick figure shackled at the wrist.  It will be difficult to actually see such a law passed.  Only a few countries in the world ban divorce, and even those allow annulments.  Even religious leaders state that disallowing divorces would be “impractical.”  According to statistics provided by the National Center for Health, the U.S. divorce rate is 47.9 per cent.

I think it sounds like an excellent idea.  If gay people can’t get married because people want to preserve the beautiful, if misguided, notion of marriage, then nobody should be allowed to get divorced.  So many people take marriage frivolously these days.  You meet somebody on Monday.  You date until Wednesday.  Thursday night you get married and Saturday afternoon you’re filing for divorce.  Where’s the preservation in such a holy unity?  But gay people, who are fighting so hard for their rights, can’t get married.  Gay people would probably stay married longer since they have to go through so much crap just to get there in the first place.  Everyone goes around talking about how important marriage is, how sacred and all that jazz.  If it is so holy, then why should divorce be allowed?  Why end something that is supposedly from God?  Your words, not mine.

A Miami woman has been arrested on bomb threat charges after she tried her best to help her boss make his flight.  The woman called the Miami International Airport and told them there was a bomb on an American Airlines plane.  She was hoping the delay caused by an investigation would leave enough time for her boss to make his flight.  The aircraft was searched, and of course, there was no bomb.  The woman told police that her boss was late to catch his flight to Honduras because of her, and that a bomb threat would be just enough time for him to catch his plane. 

That’s dedication to the job.  Let’s hope he still holds your position after you do the 25 to life for your terroristic tendencies.

Smash These High Prices
A Minnesota man is under arrest after he ran through a Target store smashing up televisions and other electronics with a hammer.  Employees say the man came into the store “walking like Frankenstein” with a “glazed look” in his eyes.  He got into it with an officer and then took off running through the store, smashing things as he went passed.  Police had to subdue him with a Taser. 

Apparently he was pissed that he missed the Black Friday sale.

On the 12^th Day of Christmas, My True Love Gave To Me
How expensive would it be if you bought all the gifts mentioned in that irritating song?  How about $87,402.81?  This is an increase of .9 per cent from last year.  Experts say the costs of birds is much cheaper, but the five gold rings is gonna cost you.  The five gold rings are 43 per cent more expensive than last year.  Three French hens are more expensive than a partridge in a pear tree.  Because minimum wage is up, eight maids-a-milking will now cost $58.  Experts also agree that you will not save any money by trying to shop online for your calling birds or drummers drumming.  Shipping all those geese a-laying and swans a-swimming will cost you about $10,000 more than if you just went to a retailer.

In case you were in the market for some lords a-leaping and all that.  Anyway, I don’t know what they did back in the old days but if my true love gave to me 11 pipers piping or some mess like that, I’d dump his ass.  Five gold rings are acceptable, but I don’t need nine ladies dancing around in my living room.  Thanks anyway.

Fatty Can’t Graduate
If you don’t complete your course requirements, you can’t graduate.  If you don’t receive a passing grade, you can’t graduate.  If you’re too fat, you can’t graduate.  Students at Lincoln University in Pennsylvania have been informed that if they are too fat, they have to take a fitness course in order to graduate.  Students with a BMI over 30 must take the course, and if they don’t succeed, then they don’t get a diploma.  Some students are just not happy about that.  One student says she didn’t come to college just to be told about her weight; she came to get an education.  Since she’s an honour student, she thinks it doesn’t matter that she is ‘slightly overweight.’  Some don’t mind the class, but don’t agree that only fat students have to take the class; they think all students should be mandated.  The university maintains that students are depleting their quality of life by remaining overweight.

As a fat person, I completely agree with this.  I don’t understand why fat people get so offended when people tell them the truth.  I think they take it very personally, as if someone is degrading the internal and that’s just not the case every time.  No one is saying because you’re fat, you’re ugly or stupid, or whatever.  What we’re saying is that because you’re fat, you’re unhealthy.  That’s the bottom line.  You don’t need to be thin, emaciated, scrawny like a super model.  You don’t need to feel poorly about yourself because there’s more of you to love.  But you do need to be concerned about your health and how it affects others around you.  Not me—but your family and your loved ones.  Being unhealthy and overweight is draining.  Today you’re mad because someone called you fat, and tomorrow you’re suicidal because you “can’t understand how you let it get this bad.”

A former Miss Argentina has died after having butt surgery.  Solange Magnano, who was crowned Miss Argentina in 1994, elected to have plastic surgery on her buttocks, but died during the procedure due to complications.  The incident is being investigated.  Argentina is quickly becoming a destination spot for those seeking plastic surgery.  The costs are considerably lower than in the United States.  According to statistics, approximately 1 in 30 Argentines have had plastic surgery. 

One in 30?  That’s a lot of damn surgery.  Some people are so unsatisfied with how they look that they are willing to risk their life just for the sake of beauty.  You don’t need to fix your ass cheeks, honey.  There’s something else going on, something else much deeper that no plastic surgeon is going to be able to cut, mold, bend or manipulate.

Out of My Way, Officer
Al Sharpton’s daughter, Dominique Sharpton faces charges including resisting arrest after she cut off a police officer and then screamed profanities at him after he pulled her over.  She told the officer that he was driving too slow and that she was on her way to a play.  According to the officer she veered out of her lane, ran through a red light and forced another car to swerve out of her way.  While she was being ticketed, she and her mother screaming curse words at the cop.  The police officer claims to have told them to get back in the car, but when they refused, he arrested them both.  According to the complaint, Dominique Sharpton pushed the officer and resisted arrest.

Amusing.  That’s all I’m going to say about that.

“This is f*cking bullsh*t” is hardly the way any person would think the daughter of a preacher would respond to a member of law enforcement but that is exactly what the progeny of one famous Bible-totting activist said to her arresting officer.

Dominique Sharpton and her mother, Kathy Jordan, appeared in court after launching into a public tirade against NYPD and resisting arrest.

Dominique was arrested after crossing a double line and cutting off a police officer while driving for resisting arrest and various other charges.

Her mother, 53 year-old Jordan, is facing the same charges after procuring handcuffs from a nearby law enforcement official and “twisting her body away from police officers.”

A lawyer for both women attempted to have the case thrown out of court citing their First Amendment right to free speech. That motion was quickly and vehemently denied.

A police report for the incident says that Sharpton “flailed” her arms to resist being arrested, after which she “pushed her feet against a police vehicle to resist being placed inside said vehicle.”

Prosecutors in the trial have offered no deal.

Both women are facing a maximum sentence of one year in jail.

In true Al Sharpton fashion, the glorified noisemaker is calling the treatment of his former wife and daughter “unfair.”

Unfair??? Give me a break. . .

Abraham Hodari, Caitlin Bruce part of national debate after forced abortion lawsuit

FLINT, Michigan — Abraham A. Hodari became a doctor because he wanted to be able to heal children’s hearts, but ended up abandoning his plans to become a pediatric surgeon because some cases were “too depressing.”

He now is one of the most high-profile abortion doctors in the state — a man praised by his medical peers and protested by pro-life activists.
Now, Hodari is at the center of a new controversy involving a Fenton Township woman who claims that the doctor held her down and forced her to have an abortion at his Flint clinic when she was 18.

“I wanted it to stop, but it didn’t. I wanted a child, but I didn’t have one,” said Caitlin Bruce, now 20.

Hodari and his lawyer maintain he was well into the procedure when she expressed misgivings, and he had to continue for her safety.
Both Hodari and Bruce have witnesses to support their claims.

Both also now find themselves the focus of headlines and blogs across the country.

And, both say they are a victim — one by her doctor and the other by overzealous protesters.

Bruce debated for several weeks what to do before going on April 9, 2008, to the WomanCare clinic, also known as the Feminine Care Center, on Saginaw Street in Flint.

She was a high school dropout with no job, six-weeks pregnant and scared.

Bruce worried she wouldn’t have enough support from her family to become a mother.

As she sat alone at the clinic and waited for her turn, she looked at pictures from a recent ultrasound. When her name was called, she said she told Hodari she was unsure about the procedure.

She said she told him she changed her mind.

Bruce claims in a civil lawsuit that Hodari and an assistant held her down and covered her mouth as she screamed for them to stop while Hodari aborted her fetus.

A written statement reportedly provided by another worker in Hodari’s office and contained in the lawsuit, claims that the doctor told an upset Bruce “I’m not going to do this. I’m going to send you home” before going through with the abortion.

The employee wrote that Hodari grinned as he completed the procedure, according to court documents.

Bruce said Hodari’s employees gave her a juice box when it was over.

Hodari was born in France and his family moved to Argentina soon after he was born to escape the Nazis, he said in an e-mail from his lawyer in response to questions from The Flint Journal.

He entered medical school at the University of Buenos Aires in the 1950s, planning to be a pediatric surgeon, but had difficulty with the emotional toil of seeing children with irreversible heart conditions and switched his focus to obstetrics and gynecology.

In the 1970s, Hodari was serving as the OB/GYN residency program director for three hospitals as part of the Detroit-Macomb Hospital Corporation.

When abortions were legalized by the Supreme Court’s landmark Roe v. Wade decision in 1973, Hodari began performing early-term abortions.
He agreed to do so because he was worried about the “excessive number of illegal abortions that were being performed, wherein all too often complication, infections, sepsis, and death might occur,” he said.

After Medicaid stopped paying for abortions in 1977, Hodari decided to offer abortions in private clinics — which reduced the costs for patients and made them more accessible, especially to poorer women.

He started opening clinics in 1980 and went on to open six abortion clinics, including WomanCare in Flint.

Bruce said she is not a “money hound” — she wants “justice” for the baby she lost in Hodari’s abortion clinic.

She said she tried to kill herself soon after the abortion, and blamed herself for going to the clinic in the first place. After going through therapy, she realized she didn’t bring this upon herself and decided to file the lawsuit, she said.

She never sought criminal charges because was young and she knew it wouldn’t bring her baby back, she said.

“I just thought it was done and over with and what more could I do,” she said.

Bruce’s mother, Donna Bruce, said the family didn’t want to tell anyone about the abortion at first, but now want to protect other women from harm.

“The way she was fighting around and everything … it’s amazing that he didn’t hurt her,” she said.
Caitlin Bruce’s lawyer, Tom Pabst of Flint, said this isn’t an issue of pro-life or pro-choice — but of consent. His client didn’t want the procedure, but Hodari proceeded anyway, said Pabst.

“I have a problem with him turning into God and telling you want you can do with your body,” said Pabst.

Hodari rarely speaks to the media, but has been a nationally respected doctor since the 1960s.

The Bloomfield Hills doctor has earned more than a dozen awards over his career for his work in OB/GYN and abortion procedures, and speaks across the country to colleges and medical students.

“I have great satisfaction of what I do,” he said in a speech given to students at Wayne State University that can be seen on YouTube. “I never feel bad or worried about doing abortions.”

He is a fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and has earned honors including the President’s Award Excellence in Medical Research from the college.

He declined to answer any specific questions about Bruce’s claims.

However, his lawyer has said Hodari had to continue with the procedure after Bruce changed her mind because he already had broken her water and she was bleeding.

Written statements from other employees in the room day also claim Hodari acted professionally and properly.

Entire Web sites are devoted to detailing every court case involving Hodari.

Protesters have gone though his trash, taken photos of him driving his car and posted them on the Internet, and kept constant vigil outside his Saginaw Street clinic.

He has faced more than 20 civil lawsuits over the past two decades, according to court records in Oakland and Genesee counties.
“He’s nationally known because he’s barbaric,” said Judy Climer, president of Flint Right to Life.

In one widely publicized incident, pro-life activists sifted through the garbage at Hodari’s abortion clinics, where they claim they found aborted fetuses and medical records.

One of those protesters — Monica Miller, director of Citizens for a Pro-Life Society, a national organization headquartered in Michigan — said Hodari is unique because he owns several abortion clinics rather than just one, and said he “represents the worst.”

“I think he’s in the abortion practice to make a lot of money,” she said. “For him it’s like a commercial franchise.”
Climer said the attention from pro-life activists shouldn’t be intimidating, “because if he’s obeying the law, he shouldn’t have anything to worry about.”

To protect his safety, his family and his employees, Hodari has installed 24-hour security cameras at his clinics and worn bullet-proof vests when giving public speeches at schools about abortions, he said.

“The threats and harassment are quite scary for him, his family, and his staff, and often his patients, as well,” said lawyer Steve Weiss of Bloomfield Hills.

Hodari said while he believes everyone has the right to express their beliefs, he thinks anti-abortion activists “have gone too far.”
He said women should be able to make health choices without “intimidating harassment.”

Four months after the abortion, Bruce and her boyfriend, Trumain Holmes of Flint, were expecting again. This time, she never considered an abortion.

Eva, a smiling and outgoing baby girl, was born May 31.

Bruce and Holmes, now 37, have been dating for four years and work together fixing up homes and renting them out to earn money.
Bruce also is planning on returning to school in the spring and lives with her mother and Eva in Fenton Township in a home filled with family pictures and toys for the baby.

Still, Bruce said she has anxiety because of the abortion and worries someone will come and take Eva away while she sleeps.
“Seeing how perfect my child is, could my other child have been just as perfect?” she said.

Allegations of misconduct brought against local doctor

FLINT (WJRT) — (11/23/09)–Allegations have been brought against a Flint doctor by a Genesee County teenager who says that doctor physically forced her to have an abortion.

She has filed a civil lawsuit against the doctor, and that lawsuit is now drawing national attention from anti-abortion groups.

It is a controversial lawsuit. Caitlin Bruce says she is seeking justice with the lawsuit she filed in June against the doctor who she says went to far.

That Flint doctor says he had no choice and did nothing wrong.

“They ripped the life out of me that day,” Bruce said.

Bruce was just 18 years old and 6 weeks pregnant when she says walked into the Feminine Health Care Clinic in Flint last year.

“I was nervous and I really didn’t have the moral support I needed. And I just didn’t know what to do,” Bruce said.

Bruce says she wrestled with her decision in the waiting room.

“They started the ultrasound. The lady turned the ultrasound toward me and said, ‘This is your baby. This is the heart flicker,’” Bruce said.

Bruce says that’s when she changed her mind. But she claims Dr. Abraham Hodari did the procedure anyway.

“He told his assistant, ‘Hold her down.’ They had my arm pinned,” Bruce said.

“His weight was all on my chest and then he took his hand and he had it so tight on my mouth that it was muffled. I was trying to scream, ‘Stop!‘

“I was screaming. I was crying. It felt like they were ripping a life out of me. When he was done, he looked at me. He gave me a smirk and he left he room.“

We tried to reach Hodari at his clinic on South Saginaw Street, but he wasn’t available.

In court documents, Hodari denies the plaintiff’s claims and says they are untrue and defends his actions, saying: “The surgical instrument was inside her uterus and she was already bleeding when she verbalized any misgivings.”

“My client acted properly under the circumstance. This was an abortion that was consented to,” said Steve Weiss, Hodari’s attorney.

“When the patient first expressed misgivings about it, it was too far along for Dr. Hodari to stop.”

Bruce’s lawyer admits Hodari has long been a target for anti-abortion groups, but he says that shouldn’t matter.

“This is shockingly wrong no matter what camp you’re in,” said Tom Pabst, the plaintiff’s attorney. “This shouldn’t have happened. If a woman says stop, it should’ve stopped.”

Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton says he is not investigating this case for possible criminal charges.

No police report was filed.

Included in the suit are 6 counts against Hodari, including lack of informed consent/medical malpractice, battery, fraud, misrepresentation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and ethnic/gender intimidation.
Michigan has a statute that forbids intimidation based on gender or ethnicity. Ms. Bruce believes that Hodari forced the abortion on her because she is Black. Considering it’s been established that Tiger Wood’s wife, Elin Nordegren, who is white and blond (therefore innately endowed with Nazi tendencies), had been responsible for the facial lacerations Woods (who is half black) suffered will she now be charged with a hate crime (or more accurately, a half hate) crime? Legal analysis: Let’s face it,  we can’t have a wild racist white woman running around loose out there attacking a famous black golfer (even if they are married).  No word yet from the Racial Gods of Mount Olympus: Al Zeus Sharpton or Jesse Hercules Jackson. Maybe Obama will suggest a beer summit. Remember the words of Rodney King: Can’t we all get along?

In an article inspired by “What does Ray Nagin, Diane Downs and Richard Reid have in common?”, I decided to write what Lori Drew, Osama bin Laden, and Adolf Hitler have in common. If you are thinking that I am lumping all of them together, which they all have been subjected too, especially with Lori Drew. You are wrong. Well, no one is going to argue that Drew, Bin Laden, and Hitler are the most reviled figures in history and are rightfully regarded as public enemies. Let’s review who they are and their evil misdeeds.

Lori Drew, husband Curt, daughter Sarah, and Ashley Grills harassed a girl to suicide by using MySpace in Fall of 2006. Bin Laden masterminded the 9/11 Terrorist Attacks on the East Coast of America in 2001. Hitler was the leader of Nazis Germany from 1933 to 1945, which started World War II and Holocaust.

On the surface, what they did are dramatically different. One girl died from suicide after being mentally tortured; 3,000 people died on live television and many more could die from the toxic dust and smoke; 30 million died in genocide and left Eurasia in shambles. Beyond that, Drew, Bin Laden, and Hitler have a lot in common. What is it? They feel that they are being victimized and persecuted by imagined enemies. They are addicted to victimhood and maintain that feeling to assert dominance and control other people, by bullying, mass murder, terrorism, or genocide. They always see themselves as victims and blame the victim for their problems.

Recall the Secret Service study they conducted on school shooters after the Columbine Massacre. There was no one clear profile of a so called typical profile of a school shooter. However, they found that 71 percent of school shooters felt a sense of persecution. Few of them were actually bullied, contrary to popular beliefs. Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold saw themselves as victims, when in fact they were bullies themselves with a laundry list of discipline problems and brushes with the law. Quite frankly, after the Columbine Massacre, I took great offense at the way the media portrayed Harris and Klebold as victims of bullying. This is the same mantra used after Columbine, 9/11, Seung-Hui Cho, Steven Kazmierczak, and Nidal Hasan. The media plays “blame the victim” game because the attackers were tormented. All the victims killed had no connection to the perpetrators.

One can say that Harris and Klebold were bullies because bullies bully because they feel they are being bullied themselves and have to lash out. They bully to feel “good” about themselves. Yes, it is generally true that bullies do not have any lack of self-esteem. They have high self-esteem, but having high self-esteem does not translate into success. In fact, high self-esteem is dangerous because people do not have to will to change. They are happy and content with their life as it is. People with higher self-esteem are more likely to be addicted to alcohol and drugs and commit crime. Ask any person who remembers the bully, chances are they will say they ended up as either drug addicts, in prison, or dead.

Lori Drew posed as “Josh Evans” to see if Megan Meier was talking bad about Sarah after Megan allegedly called Sarah a “ugly Lesbian”. Drew was motivated by protecting her daughter from bullies. The Drews were described as over involved and pushy parents, especially in regards with Sarah, which made people feel resentful. The Drews are a classic “helicopter parent”. Also, Lori Drew was described as sociable and clingy to a point of annoying. She was considered an outcast in her neighborhood. Drew wanted to snoop and teach Megan a lesson for not being friends and bullying Sarah. Drew scapegoated her for all problems in life because Sarah was not happy and was no longer a friend. Compounding it, Drew was upset that Megan was losing weight faster than Sarah and she bad mouthed her for that. Drew viewed herself and family as being repeatedly victimized by Megan. The Drews and Ashley Grills would later send ugly messages that called her “fat” and “whore” to Meier and she committed suicide on October 16, 2006. The case would be revealed a year later by Steve Pokin, which would make her one of the most hated persons in years.

The Megan Meier case is reminiscent of Gertrude Baniszewski, who was enraged after Sylvia Likens accused her daughter Paula and Stephanie of being prostitutes. Baniszewski felt the sense that Likens was persecuting her and her family and she needed to stop it at all cost. Baniszewski got her children and neighborhood children to torture Likens to death to teach her a lesson. Also, she wanted to protect her and her daughter’s reputation and tried to portray themselves as “virtuous” and “clean” and attended a fundamentalist church. In reality, Stephanie and Gertrude were sexually promiscuous and had a child out of wedlock. Baniszewski was often subjected to abuse at her live-in boyfriend and constantly felt victimized over and over and Likens pushed her over the edge. Baniszewski thought torturing Likens would be an act of redemption.

Osama bin Laden, the leader of Al-Qaeda, was behind the horrid September 11, 2001 Terrorist Attacks in New York, Arlington, and Shanksville. Four airplanes were hijacked by terrorists and they attacked the World Trade Center, Pentagon, and a failed one near Shanksville. The attack leveled the World Trade Center and left the Pentagon burning. 3,000 people died in the terrorist attack on live television, mostly from the collapse of the towers. Bin Laden was partly motivated by how Saudi Arabia allowed America to use the land to attack Iraq in the Persian Gulf War of 1990. He blames America for that, despite the fact that the Saudi Royal Family allowed and they could of denied that access to America. Bin Laden sees America and the West as being oppressive to Muslims and supporting Israel. He views Muslims as victims of “Western Imperialism” and “Islamophobia”. Bin Laden sees Palestinians being oppressed and victimized by the Jews, who are helped by America. This is despite the fact that the Israeli/Palestinian conflict is more political than religious.

Bin Laden believes that suicide bombers are courageous and should be employed to teach America and the West a lesson. Also, Bin Laden encourages that Muslims protect fellow Muslims from America and the West by engaging in Jihad or “Holy War”. Also, where Bin Laden is from, they have a revenge culture because the climate is desert, which is dry. Dry climate makes bodies decay less and people are more likely to remember.

Adolf Hitler took advantage of Germans’ desperation from the Great Depression. It was after World War I and the Treaty of Versailles imposed harsh punishment on Germany. They had to pay huge reparations. They had to print a lot of money, which led to hyperinflation during the Great Depression. Hitler blamed Jews for all of Germany’s problems from hyperinflation to Treaty of Versailles. Hitler saw Jews as backstabbers and traitors out to destroy the Germans. He viewed Germans and Germany as victims of “Jewish” control and it had to be stopped. Hitler believed that Jews “raped” Germany during and after World War I. Hitler is voted in the 1933 election and rose to power on the guise of “hope” and “change”.

Hitler wanted to protect the Germans from the Jews by passing laws that discriminated against Jews. Hitler wanted to teach Jews a lesson in every way possible. By the time World War II starts, Jews were rounded up and sent off to death camps to be killed. Hitler also went after Slavs, Gypsies, Jehovah’s Witness, and disabled people because he saw them as undesirable. In the end, 30 million people died and Eurasia was left a total mess with 80 million killed in World War II. Nearly 70 percent of the European Jews were wiped out.

Many genocidal maniacs are paranoid and obsessed with protecting people. They use their persecution complex to impose their tyranny on the people. Joseph Stalin was another paranoid psychopath like Hitler. He went after anyone who were enemies of the state. Stalin viewed the state and himself as being victimized by dissidents. He had those infamous show trials, caused famines that killed 7 million Ukrainians, and many untold number of people would be sent off to Gulags in Siberia to a life time of hard labor and death.

Another example of a dictator with a sense of constant victimization is Saddam Hussein. He believed in protecting the Arab people from the Persians. Hussein viewed Arabs as victims of “Persian” cultural imperialism. He invaded Iran after the 1979 Islamic Revolution because he was afraid of Shiites would spread their influence, which he saw it as Persian cultural imperialism. The 1980 Iran-Iraq War had Arabs of all religious background, Muslim and Christian, because they saw Persians as the common enemy worthy of destruction. When Hussein was executed in late 2006, his last words were “Down with Persians”, a testament to his hatred towards Persians.

Cult leaders are often paranoid and use that paranoia to maintain control on their followers. Cult leaders feel victimized. Jim Jones, Charles Manson, and Fred Phelps come to mind. Jones was an avowed communist and Stalinist and felt that the CIA was spying on him and People’s Temple. They would later flee to Guyana to establish Jonestown. Than Congressman Leo Ryan came to investigate that followers were held against their will. Jone’s men attack Ryan’s convoy and from their 909 people die from mass suicide and murder. Manson was paranoid about a race war called “Helter Skelter”. Manson’s cult went on a brutal killing spree that killed actress Sharon Tate and LaBianca couple in 1969. Phelps is the leader of the Westboro Baptist Church. They are notorious for picketing funerals and hating homosexuals. He always talks about how his so-called church is being persecuted and that picketing funerals is a way to stop the persecution. Phelps is clearly a closeted homosexual with serious issues of self hate. It is probable that Phelps might have illegitimate children because Shirley Phelps-Roper has an illegitimate son named Samuel.

Many so-called civil rights leaders, like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are very paranoid of racism and bigotry against Blacks and are addicted to victimhood. Victimhood becomes part of them. Any slighting that Blacks are subjected too will put them in the spotlight. In many ways, Jackson and Sharpton are addicted to victimhood. They feel that Blacks are denied equal access whether it is education or a job. In reality, Jackson and Sharpton are racists themselves and have expressed bigotry. Jackson called New York “Hymie Town” because of its largest Jewish population. Jackson is part of another underlying problem, anti-Semitism. A sad irony because Jews helped Blacks in the Civil Rights Movement.

What does this all mean? Feeling the sense of persecution and victim blaming are recurring theme among evil people. Does paranoia and feeling the sense of persecution lead to evil and violence. Not always. It is healthy to have some paranoia. It makes us human. It is common that we are all paranoid to some extent. We don’t like it when people talk bad about us. Who does? Of course we do not get so consumed with it to a point that it drives us to feel victimized. We all have felt victimized at some point. There are other factors as well to consider. Paranoid is a sign of a personality disorder, which is the hallmark of a psychopath.

The constant state of paranoia and feeling victimized day in day out and it becomes part of them. That is unhealthy and dangerous. Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Jim Jones, and Lori Drew come to mind. Also, their paranoia was mixed with anti-social, narcissism, and deviance, which is a dangerous mix. Hitler, Stalin, Jones, and Drew are considered psychopaths. However, feeling victimized and psychopathy need not to be the case. Bin Laden who lacks any psychopathic behavior is very focused on one thing. A psychopath usually lacks focus, which would be a bad thing for terrorist, especially in an organized one like Al-Qaeda.

Being paranoid and feeling victimized are not a bad thing in healthy doses. For some, being paranoid and feeling victimized is an addiction that can turn deadly. The very thing they fear and hate becomes them. Just look at Adolf Hitler, Osama bin Laden, Jim Jones, Eric Harris/Dylan Klebold, Jesse Jackson, and Lori Drew. They constantly felt victimized and needed to protect the very thing they feared and hated. It became them. In some cases, it turned deadly.

I am always amazed how conservative white guys jump up and declare Rev. Jesse Jackson and Rev. Al Sharpton spokesmen for the so-called black community. It is so ignorant to suggest that black people need one or two spokespeople to speak on their behalf as if they’re too stupid to speak on their own. Where are the leaders for the white community, the Latino community, the Asian American community or the Native American community? And, if they are out there, why are they not being set up to be attacked as Rev. Jackson and Rev. Sharpton are being put into position to be attacked?

This is from a Midland, Mich. writer named Chris Stevens, who states in a blog titled “Anything goes: Instead of Limbaugh, let’s say ‘no’ to Jackson and Sharpton”:

So Rush Limbaugh’s bid to be one of the buyers of the St. Louis Rams is being opposed by, among others, the Revs. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.

Why doesn’t that surprise me?

Sharpton and Jackson have as much politically in common with Limbaugh as the Detroit Lions have with Super Bowl championships.

Zilch.

That’s not the whole story, of course. If Sharpton and Jackson are involved in something nationally, typically race is involved.

That’s their shtick. They are, and have been, the designated spokespeople for the black race. And that’s quite puzzling.

He stats that if Rev. Jackson and Rev. Sharpton are involved then race is probably an issue. But, who is asking the questions? Rev. Jackson and Rev. Sharpton don’t run CNN and MSNBC and they sure as hell don’t run the far-right Fox News. They don’t run NBC, CBS, ABC, the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, etc.

So, a conservative white guy declares that Rev. Jackson and Rev. Sharpton are spokesmen for the so-called black community. Now, this is done because conservatives in the media have worked for decades to demonize Rev. Jackson and Rev. Sharpton as a means of knocking down and keeping down what they call “the black community.” They declare Rev. Jackson and Rev. Sharpton the so-called leaders of “the black community” or the so-called spokesmen for “the black community” and then turn around and attack the two. Is this a disguised attack on blacks as a people?

Is Rush Limbaugh the spokesman for the white community? He is for a large number of far-right conservatives.

So, this writer ends by stating:

Sharpton and Jackson have had their time in the limelight.

It’s time for them to go away.

He seems to have left Limbaugh’s name out of that statement. Should be surprised? Of course we should not be surprised.

Don’t for one minute believe conservatives like Chris Stevens want men like Rev. Jackson and Rev. Sharpton to go away. I agree that the media should allow other strong and young black voices (alternative voices) a platform in the media, but that is not the interest of conservatives like Chris Stevens.

It’s a disguised and passive-aggressive way of attacking black people.

When I received this survey in the mail last week, I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.  Although I did not check with Obama Girl, I’m going out on a limb to proclaim that the Republican National Committee secured neither her approval for this survey nor her permission to invoke Obama’s name.  But I am glad the Republican Party is on the ball.

My only complaint is that the survey is multiple choice and so I elaborate on two questions below.

Question Number 4: Should English be the Official language of the United states?

SevenCell’s Answer: Let me just start by saying, “Whew! I was worried that one had slipped through the cracks….” I had woken up in a cold sweat the very morning I received the survey panicked over our official language situation. Do we have an official language?  Does the White House even have an “Official Language Situation Room?” It should. What happens if we do get an official language and people start speaking other languages? All hell will break loose. Anyway, I was especially comforted to know that the Republicans are keeping on top of things and floated that question right up to Number 4. We pay them six figures, you know. Gotta get our money’s worth.

Question Number 7: Do you believe that Barack Obama’s nominees for federal courts should be immediately and unquestionably approved for their lifetime appointments by the U.S. Senate?

SevenCell’s Answer: I believe we should amend the Constitution to permit Rush Limbaugh and Al Sharpton to collaborate on nomination choices for federal judges instead of the duly elected  President of the United States (until both Rush and Al die). If we are unable to secure that Amendment, I say we go with the United States Constitution as it stands.

The housing bubble that is now deflating and wreaking havoc with the economy was created by several factors, Glenn Beck said on his TV show today.

“The Fed and the politicians” are responsible, he said.

Activist groups were encouraged to agitate by the Carter-era Community Reinvestment Act, which enshrined in law a kind of lending protection racket. Banking regulators were given the power to make trouble for banks that failed to lend enough money to so-called underserved communities. Banks that paid enough — whatever that means — got left alone, but banks that didn’t, got their legs broken.

How much money is enough to satisfy the law? Even the Federal Reserve Board can’t say for sure. From the Fed’s online summary of the Act:

The CRA requires that each depository institution’s record in helping meet the credit needs of its entire community be evaluated periodically. That record is taken into account in considering an institution’s application for deposit facilities.Neither the CRA nor its implementing regulation gives specific criteria for rating the performance of depository institutions. Rather, the law indicates that the evaluation process should accommodate an institution’s individual circumstances.

One can almost imagine a CRA commissar saying, “It’d be a real shame if something happened to that nice bank of yours.” When in doubt about potential CRA liability, don’t risk committing a crime against diversity: make the loan. Or else.

After CRA came into effect, Saul Alinsky-inspired “community organizer” groups such as ACORN, the Greenlining Institute, and National Council of La Raza got into the shakedown business. They preach the hateful class-warfare rhetoric of their fellow community organizers Jeremiah Wright, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and Michael Pfleger.

Even though the left’s pathological preoccupation with economic egalitarianism never takes a vacation, the left isn’t entirely to blame for Wall Street’s current troubles.

The Federal Reserve Board encouraged bad behavior by keeping interest rates artificially low for far too long after the 9/11 attacks. Since money was cheap, bankers went overboard with exotic mortgage products, and investors kept inflating the housing bubble, sending home prices into the stratosphere.

But no one can deny the fateful role that liberal financial activist groups played in making a bad situation much worse.

On Morning Meeting with Dylan Ratigan and Contessa Brewer yesterday– the day after about 40 ultra-liberal Democrats announced they would scuttle Pelosi’s health care bill if taxpayers were not going to be on the hook for abortions– the storyline was still that it’s Republicans who are fatally divided.  That conservatives are splintering the GOP and making it impossible for them to win.

That story is SO last Spring’s fashion, darling.

This blissfully skirts the fact that just a week ago, Democrat candidates nation-wide garnered about 20% less of the vote than Barack Obama received just a year ago (even in places that they won);  and that Gallup shows 40% of the country calling itself “conservative,” but only 20% comfortable with the term “liberal.”

Of course, this is MSNBC.  It’s pretty funny that anyone at MSNBC would point to Fox News as biased, though I supposed next to MSNBC’s “news” coverage, anything down the middle is FAR to the right.

Sure, Fox has its opinion shows, but MSNBC is 24/7 with partisan editorializing.  Take Contessa Brewer.  She’s supposed to be more or less a straight up news anchor, but she makes the most hilarious slips at times…

BREWER: You remember this when images were used like it when the GOP stormed the Capitol, protesting the Democrat’s health care bill. Representative Michelle Bachmann inside of that blitz. But none of the party’s leaders seem to share her sentiment about the signs. Well, despite the outrage, the Democrat-led house bill still passed. But this isn’t even Contessa’s funniest slip.  Who could forget the classic — “You all look alike to Contessa?”

Once is a slip of the tongue.  Is twice a pattern?  One might just write this off and have serious fun watching Jesse Jackson’s expression as she calls him “Reverend Al Sharpton,” if it weren’t for the fury her colleagues express when a Republican uses a similar expression:

This is hardly Contessa’s worst wardrobe malfunction.  Sometimes she just lets it all go and bares her bias for all to see:

So, Contessa, I don’t know if any of your recent slips got you a good dressing down, but don’t be discouraged.  I find your wacky ensembles incredibly entertaining.

The American Spectator : The Man Who Despises America.

The very next paragraph is going to make the nut jobs on the far left excitable beyond belief. I am not referring to all Democrats or even a majority of liberals. I am singling out the “they’ve-lost-all-touch-with-reality” crowd. This includes Media Matters for America led by the admitted hit-and-run, drunk-driving serial liar. The group includes the unshaven, bathrobe-clad unemployed who live in their mother’s basement and are devout followers of MoveOn.Org. It is also the bitter, aging spinster working at the New York Times, the morbidly obese documentary film maker, and cable TV news’ resident drama queen who hosts MSNBC’s Countdown. They are about to simultaneously suffer from brain aneurisms. So without further delay, I’ll say it.

Barack Obama despises America.

When people who voted for Obama in 2008 — including registered Democrats — start speaking in normal conversational voices at dinner parties, neighborhood gatherings and PTA meetings that the over-inflated ego from Chicago has it “in for America,” then it’s clear most reasonable people have reached the same conclusion.

The central conviction of Obama’s ideology is that America is guilty of limitless moral failures and is the chief architect of the world’s ills. Obama has boundless enmity for America, its key institutions, and its longtime allies. Consider these facts.

The 30-years of Obama’s post-adolescent life are radical by any measure. First, he grew up listening to the ramblings of committed Communist Frank Marshall Davis. It had such a profound effect on him that he wrote fondly of Davis in his first book. In fact, that book is replete with statement after statement about how the U.S. is deeply flawed. Most Americans believe in American exceptionalism. Not so with Obama.

Patriotic Americans would not have listened to the bigoted, anti-Semitic, hate-America rants of a fringe religious leader for 20 seconds let alone for 20 years. Yet, Obama who admitted he attended services at Trinity United Church at least twice a month for two decades called Jeremiah Wright his mentor and his moral sounding board.

Nor would most Americans cultivate a close friendship with an admitted domestic terrorist and his wife whose most notable life’s accomplishments were to set off bombs that killed and maimed innocent people.

Joining Al Sharpton and Jeremiah Wright in organizing attendance at Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan’s 1995 march on Washington is beyond imaginable. Especially after Farrakhan demonstrated public support for Colonel Muammar Qaddafi during the Libyan Leader’s most bellicose years against the U.S., which included Libyan complicity in numerous terrorist attacks.

Obama’s view of America in national security and foreign affairs is profoundly disappointing to say the least.

Americans overwhelmingly view the men and women who saved Europe and the Far East during World War II as comprising the Greatest Generation. By his comments and actions, President Obama obviously thinks otherwise.

Obama did not honor American greatness on the 60th anniversary of the Berlin Airlift while on his first European trip. Instead, he accused “America [of having] shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive” toward its European allies.

He also denigrated the accomplishments of the American G.I. during World War II in the Pacific theater when he offered a thinly veiled apology for the U.S. having dropped the A-bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Those acts brought the war to a swift conclusion, perhaps saving hundreds of thousands of lives when it appeared Japan was prepared to wage an island-by-island battle to the last man.

Obama ordered the release of the so-called CIA “torture memos,” seriously damaging delicate intelligence relations with allied nations and placing at grave risk the safety of U.S. intelligence officers working overseas. The impact of his action handcuffs the ability of U.S. intelligence officials to protect the U.S. and American interests from acts of terrorism.

In a matter of weeks last spring, Obama gave deference to a variety of belligerent leaders while stiff-arming longtime American allies. First, he called for closer relations with Cuba while ignoring that nation’s long list of continuing human rights abuses. Then he warmly welcomed Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez at an Organization of American States summit.

Next, he failed to respond and set the record straight after Nicaragua’s Communist leader Daniel Ortega listed alleged U.S. crimes and atrocities during a nearly one-hour rant at the OAS meeting. It is unsettling that in his own remarks Obama incorrectly claimed the OAS has 36 members rather than the actual 34. Ortega and the hemisphere’s other Socialist leaders claim the OAS would include 36 members if Cuba and an independent Puerto Rico were allowed to join. Mere coincidence or Freudian slip?

Immediately following the OAS embarrassments, Obama ignored a request from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to meet. Obama would repeat this snub six months later before agreeing at the last moment to meet Netanyahu after the Israeli leader was en route the U.S.

In his speech before the Muslim world, Obama made the patently absurd claim of equivalency between the status of displaced Palestinians and the slaughter of millions of Jews during the Holocaust. His claim that 7 million Muslims live in the U.S. is a figure inflated by as much as 700%.

In an earlier speech, Obama claimed that the U.S. is not a Christian nation, which is at odds with the fact that 79% of Americans self-identify as Christians and the nation’s founders were devout Christians.

In less than six months in office, Obama apologized for Guantanamo Bay; for alleged mistakes committed by the CIA; for U.S. policy in the Americas; for America’s history of slavery; for “sacrificing [American] values;” for “hasty decisions” in the war on terror; for “America’s standing in the world;” for American errors in foreign policy; and for U.S. relations with the Muslim world.

He pronounced Iran’s pursuit of nuclear technology acceptable and he warned Netanyahu against targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities. Obama’s approach to Iran is eerily similar to that of Jimmy Carter, whose actions contributed to the fall of that nation into the control of Islamic radicals.

This summer, the door to greater individual freedoms in Iran was firmly closed shut when Obama announced the U.S would not meddle in Iran’s election and he offered no encouragement to democracy activists who protested the obviously stolen elections. His silence was deafening when regime security agents savagely attacked and killed countless Iranians who took to the streets.

In contrast to his deference to anti-American leaders such as Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Hugo Chavez, and Daniel Ortega, Obama strong-armed Netanyahu on key Israeli matters. In addition to snubbing the Israeli Prime Minister’s requests to meet, Obama demanded an end to Israeli settlements and insisted on the creation of a two-state Palestine solution.

Obama abandoned NATO members Poland and the Czech Republic by canceling the central Europe missile defense plan just as rogue nations North Korea and Iran make advances in nuclear and ballistic missile production. The cancellation was demanded by Moscow authorities who have adopted a more confrontational posture toward the west.

Solidarity with freedom-loving East Germans has been a staple of the American presidency for nearly 50 years. John Kennedy pronounced himself a Berliner. Ronald Reagan demanded Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev “Tear down this wall!” Yet, this bricks and mortar icon of first, Soviet totalitarianism, and then, second, the end of Soviet domination did not make the cut as Obama chose not to attend the 20th anniversary of the fall of the wall. In the summer of 2008, Obama altogether skipped mentioning the role of the U.S. — or even the West, for that matter — in bringing down the wall, instead crediting “a world that stands as one.”

Obama’s disagreement with American values and institutions is evident in domestic issues. He has stocked his administration with wild-eyed radicals who believe foreign law trumps the U.S. Constitution (Harold Koh); include an avowed Marxist and “truther” who believes George Bush was complicit in the 9/11 attack and is also an ardent supporter of cop-killer Mumia Abu Jamal (Van Jones); and include a devoted admirer of Mao Tse-tung who slaughtered as many as 75 million people (Anita Dunn). (In contrast, George W. Bush’s Attorney-General nominee John Ashcroft was savaged by the news media for being an Evangelical Christian.)

Three weeks after America’s first black president was sworn in, the nation’s first black Attorney-General who was hand-picked by Obama, called America “a nation of cowards” for some perceived race relations shortfall. The understood meaning of Eric Holder’s comments is that white people are still racists. However, the reality is the people most preoccupied with fomenting the racial divide are those who populate the ranks of the Obama Administration.

Obama’s Homeland Secretary designated military veterans as terrorists-in-waiting to be equally as dangerous as other domestic terrorists including pro-lifers and citizens opposed to the flood of illegal aliens.

One of Obama’s very few suggestions to cut into his $1.4 trillion budget deficit was to have servicemen and women pay for their own war injuries. He’s all for providing free health care to illegal aliens but believes wounded warriors should foot their own hospital bills. In fact, the Defense Department is about the only sector of government in which Obama has proposed slashing spending.

Hours after a belligerent “African-American Studies” Harvard professor engaged in behavior unbefitting anyone let alone a professional man, Obama accused the exceedingly tolerant Cambridge police officers as having “acted stupidly” and then digressed into how people of color have been unfairly treated by white America.

Bush was prolific in quietly and privately visiting the military wounded and family of the fallen. In contrast, Obama attempted to make political capital of his one visit to Dover Air Force Base. Obama’s motives were so transparent that families of 17 of the 18 fallen denied permission for Obama to engage in a photo-op alongside the returning caskets.

In May, Obama immediately issued a statement that he was “shocked and outraged by the murder” of a Kansas doctor specializing in partial-birth abortions. He called it a “heinous act of violence.” Attorney-General Holder mobilized U.S. Marshals nationwide to provide protection to abortion clinics.

But Obama remained silent the very next day when two U.S. soldiers were gunned down by a Muslim extremist outside a Little Rock recruiting station. After repeated prodding for a presidential comment, the White House faxed an after-hours statement to select media outlets two days later offering a tepid remark that Obama was “saddened” without even mentioning the soldiers were murdered.

Five months later, another Muslim fanatic gunned down nearly four dozen Americans, killing 13, at the Ft. Hood army base. It was an act that demanded the most serious demeanor of the military’s Commander-in-Chief. Yet, Obama referenced the massacre in the most insincere fashion just seconds after a jocular shout-out to an audience member during a public speaking engagement. It was the equivalent of attending a funeral in swimwear while en route to the beach.

The odd inadvertent comment or occasional verbal faux pas can be explained away as just that. However, Obama has a lifetime of comments and actions including 10 months as president that belie his real attitude toward the U.S. The difference between Obama and his immediate predecessors such as Ronald Reagan, the George Bushes and Bill Clinton who actually revere and honor the greatness of America and its citizens and institutions cannot be overstated.

Last Friday, the Yankee parade terrorized downtown NYC, and while it was fun (for Yankee fans) to see their favorite players move along The Canyon Of Heroes, rap fans were surprised to see Jay-Z and his right-hand-man Ty-Ty on A-Rod’s float. Yup, Jay, Alex and Ty-Ty were like the new “Roc Boys,” and A-Rod had no problem becoming the latest person to fall into the “I’m-standing-next-to-Jay-Z-so-I-want-to-look-cool-by-making-a-diamond-with-my-hands” category.

We shouldn’t be too hard on A-Rod, though, there’s been tons of awkward Rocafella Diamond sightings anytime there’s a chance for a celebrity to get a photo-op with Hov. Don’t believe us? Based on the popular satiric comic strip of the same name, The Boondocks follows the lives of the Freeman family.  Robert ‘Granddad’ Freeman, an old school brother is the patriarch, trying to raise his two grandsons:  Huey, a 21st century militant, and Riley, a gangsta rap lovin kid obsessed with the ‘thug’ lifestyle blown up in hip hop.  After the deaths of the boys’ parents, Granddad moves them to Woodcrest, a quiet Midwestern suburb (literally and metaphorically as far from the hood as possible).

For having a relatively short run, The Boondocks has made more than its fair share of noise.  To understand why it gets ranked so high, it’s on to the tale of the tape…

Relevance:  Fans of the comic strip will tell you that Huey and his revolutionary ideals were the centerpiece of the daily arcs.  With the transition to television, Huey’s black militant ideals became the fulcrum between Granddad’s traditional (and somewhat out of touch) worldview, and Riley’s commercialized hip hop persona.  (Short translation:  this show is very relevant in portraying different points of view in the black community.)

Legacy:  Because the show is still active, it’s a little early to define what The Boondocks ultimate legacy will end up being.  While the comic strip carries the same tone, the increased viewership of the TV show has put a bigger spotlight on one of its trademarks:  calling out the hypocrisies and airing the dirty laundry of the Black community.  Aaron McGruder is both loved and reviled for what he preaches through Huey.  More on this in a minute…

Craft:  Comedy, specifically satire, is very hard to pull off but The Boondocks handles it as well as any show with a political leaning.  Personal tastes affect everyone’s choice, but ‘The Trial of R. Kelly’ is great satire, great slapstick, great racial humor, AND a great half hour of episodic television.  A must watch if you’re not familiar with the show.

Crossover:  More than it appears on the surface.  Directly related to the ‘Legacy’ breakdown, when you earn the wrath of Rev. Al (and the attention of Nightline), you’ve hit a crossover nerve.  While the show was shopped to BET (snickering), landing in the red hot Adult Swim block on the Cartoon Network is also a nod to the show’s ability to reach outside its target demographic.

Apollo:  Oh boy.  What to choose, what to choose… Hmm…  You know, I mentioned the three viewpoints symbolically represented by the three main characters.  There’s a supporting character who’s a little more, ahem, extreme in his worldview.  An old black man who hates black people.  No, I mean, he REALLY hates black people…

“White man just a joy to be around.  Smell like lemon juice and Pledge furniture.  And look at ‘em, they gave us discipline, jobs…took us out the jungle!  And what we do to show our appreciation?  We march up and down the street, we VOTE!  Ingrates…”

(And those of you who watch the show know that particular Uncle Ruckus rant was fairly tame…)

Why does Bill O’Reilly continue to provide Al Sharpton a platform for his race-baiting?  To show how “fair and balanced” he can be?

OReilly made it easy for Sharpton by posing the issue this way:

Why is the House Ethics Committee investigating seven different African-American lawmakers?

Sharpton argued that race must be involved, given all the attention focused particularly on a powerful African-American Congressman like Rep. Charlie Rangel.

Softball questions get the answers they deserve. 

Here are the questions that O’Reilly should have asked:

• Was the House Ethics Committee being anti-Semitic when it subpoenaed law enforcement agencies for intercepted communications between U.S. Rep. Jane Harman (D-Calif.) and a suspected “Israeli agent?”
•  Are you aware that it was in a case led by future U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder that the white Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee Dan Rostenkowski was indicted on corruption charges (e.g., keeping “ghost” employees on his payroll and using Congressional funds to buy gifts such as chairs and ashtrays for friends) and was then forced to step down from all Congressional leadership positions?
• Shouldn’t Holder, now that he is the Attorney General,  put his color blinders on and investigate Rep. Charlie Rangel for possible criminal wrong-doing (e.g., accepting thousands of dollars in interest forgiveness and failing to disclose this windfall on both his Congressional disclosure forms and income tax forms in violation of federal laws) as Holder had done with  Rostenkowski fifteen years ago?  
• Do you think that Rangel, who has  admitted to failing to pay a substantial amount of income taxes, deserves some sort of affirmative action type leniency from the Ethics Committee because he is an African-American and that he should be allowed  to continue to head the body in charge of writing the tax laws in the House of Representatives for the rest of us ordinary taxpayers?
• Are you accusing the Democratic Party leaders in the House of racism since they could stop the ethics investigations any time with a snap of their fingers and have not yet done so?  Or do you think that it is enough that Nancy Pelosi is not asking Rangel to step aside even after he admitted his failure to pay his own taxes?

My plea to Bill O’Reilly is to return to the days of the true “No Spin Zone” and ask tough questions such as the ones above rather than give race-baiters like Al Sharpton free air time.

I just heard Curtis Sliwa bring this interesting fact up. Did Bloomberg Buy Sharptons Silence with a Contribution or a Promise or a Threat  of something??? Sharpton has been interestingly SILENT, and that is a very rare occasion when Sharpton is silenced. Maybe Bloomberg or his representatives brought up some issues that if pursued, would be detrimental to Sharpton. Not like Sharpton has anything to Hide (says sarcastically) I would like to know how King Bloomberg bought Sharptons Silence.

The Board of Education is Lucky they didn’t endorse anyone during the Campaign. But Bloomberg will still shaft them regarding Pay Raises. Bloomberg says the Race wasn’t close………………I think bloomberg is on drugs and should be sent to Rehab as he is in Complete Denial……………….The guys a Shmuck and will always be a Shmuck.
