Restaurant fined $11,000 for removing food safety placard, other violations

An Ala Moana restaurant has been fined $11,000 for violations that include intentionally removing its food safety placard over a two-day period last month.

A 45-year-old woman has been hospitalized after being hit by a bus in Ala Moana.
