So why I Decided to stop interviews – except for some friends, who have ties of gratitude? 
There are several Reasons for this.

Begini ceritanya.
Kamis, 6 Juni 2013 aku berkelana ke Tegal. Naik kereta Kaligung Mas. Di perjalanan kunikmati pemandnagan yang indah. Mulai dari laut, pohon, hutan, sawah, padi, jagung. Semuanya kurekam dalam lensa kamera. Sesampainya di Tegal aku berkeliling ke alun-alun, balai kota, Masjid Agung Tegal serta menikmati makanan yang tidak kutemukan di Semarang: kupat glabad, olos, tahu aci, dan tahu pletok. Kemudian aku merenung. Yang kutemukan adalah apa yang ditulis Paulo Coelho dalam bukunya, The Alchemist benar. “Di mana hatimu berada, di situlah hartamu berada.”

Setelah perjalanan dengan pemandnagan yang mengesankan, makan makanan yang lezat, kelelahan karena muter-muter di sana, akhirnya aku harus pulang. Iya, pulang. Bukan karena waktunya pulang tapi karena hatiku tidak di Tegal. Hatiku ada di Semarang. Harta terbesarku ada di sana: cintaku, teman-temanku, perjuanganku. Setelah berkelana seharian, di kota yang belum pernah kudatangi sebelumnya, aku menemukan bahwasanya harta terbesarku sudah ada di dekatku sejak dari dulu.

Tapi, tanpa perjalanan ini, aku takkan pernah menikmati hal-hal menakjubkan di dunia. Aku takkan pernah bertemu dengan orang-orang baru, mencicipi makanan lezat, dan mengunjungi tempat-tempat baru.

For all the bookworms out there, I recommend these following books..

I’m into classics and these 3 are my favorites (even though ‘The Alchemist’ is not a classic, I consider it as a classic ‘coz it should be)

Charles Dickens is my favorite classic writer. His books took me to an era where there are carriages instead of cars, where the streets are almost abandoned when at midnight and the people are nicer (I guess). His books are just.. Great.

Paulo Coelho is an amazing writer. His books made me realize the value of life is greater than we could even imagine. And ‘The Alchemist’ is the best book that he have ever written (and ‘The Devil and Miss Prym)

You may know his name.. but not his story.

Many people know the name Sherlock Holmes but do they know how he became ‘The Great Sherlock Holmes’? Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is an exceptional writer. He made Sherlock Holmes more than just a fictional character, he made Sherlock Holmes the greatest identity ever imagined. Apart from his extraordinary powers of deduction, he is a person whom you will love for beneath his tough and mysterious exterior lies a gentle and compassionate friend to his companion and best friend, Dr. John Watson. I just love his adventures <3

This series is my another all-time favorite aside from the Mortal Instruments (another post for that hihi :”>)

The Infernal Devices is the prequel of the Mortal Instruments, also by Cassandra Clare. What I like about these books is that the setting is in 1800s but the characters possess the humor of the modern society. Aside from the humorous side of the story, a romance that will capture your heart and will make you cry or get butterflies in your stomach is another feature that I love in the story. Just.. Just read it, and cease to be a mundane.

I spotted some absolute gems such as this gorgeous Zara slouchy kimono jacket [in store only] http://www.look.co.uk/pictures/48-high-street-fashion-hits/zara-floral-kimono-jacket-£6999-in-store-only and this jewelled AX Paris dress that I wore last night http://www.axparis.com/products/High-Neck-Jewel-Bodycon-Dress.html. Topshop disappointed me once more with their shapeless styles and poor quality; some of the items were falling apart IN THE SHOP! However I did spot a white blazer which would be perfect for summer wear!

On another note, if there is an Alchemist bar near you I implore you to try it if you haven’t already. The prices are pretty average for a cocktail bar and more than worth it for the show the bartenders put on! With fire and smoke and flashes and bangs, this cocktail lab creates delicious drinks to be enjoyed in the sunshine. And though the food menu is pretty limited, it’s really great and made up for by the expansive cocktail list!

After watching this video, how can you NOT want to do something, anything? If you’re stuck, trying to figure out exactly how to start living out your dreams, get a pen and paper.

I started my journey by writing down exactly what I wanted and the dates these goals/dreams/aspirations would happen.  I carry that sheet of paper with me everywhere and look at it everyday, as a reminder of what I’m supposed to be doing.   So far, I have achieved 4/6 of those items on my paper. Hooray!  Now it’s your turn…Ready…Set…Go!
