“Homossexuais católicos contra referendo no casamento ‘gay’. Associação condena postura da Igreja” (DN 11/11/09, chamada de primeira página para PAÍS, p. 19).

1. Silogismo bíblico (Ou a lógica é uma batata!)
Premissa maior. Então, digam-me cá, os católicos não dizem no seu Credo ‘Creio em Deus Padre todo poderoso, criador do céu e da terra, criador de tudo quanto existe?” Não foi “Deus que criou o homem e a mulher à sua imagem e semelhança”? Todos os homens e todas as mulheres, machos e fêmeas? E todos os outros – os que são, metade por metade ou em partes desiguais, machos e fêmeas, ou fêmeas e machos? Foi ou não foi Deus que os fez assim, hormonalmente, fisiologicamente e até anatomicamente? Repito a pergunta, não foi Deus que os fez todos à sua imagem e semelhança? E que fossem felizes?!

Premissa menor. Então, já que o sexo não é só para procriar, não têm, todos eles e elas, o direito de gozarem o sexo como Deus lho deu? Ou alguém, por ser crente, terá receio de que um homossexual, uma lésbica, um hermafrodita esteja a dar, só por essa razão, uma imagem errada do Deus que assim os criou? Ou apenas o homem bem homem e a mulher bem mulher, são imagem de Deus? E os outros e as outras, são imagem de quem? Do Diabo?

Conclusão. Logo (Ergo), o casamento dos (das) homossexuais está nos planos de Deus.

2. Silogismo ateísta (A lógica não é uma batata!)
Premissa maior. Segundo a teoria evolucionista (Darwinista…), primeiro a vida, depois as espécies vivas, vegetais ou animais, foram evoluindo naturalmente, todos na procura instintiva, compulsiva de viver o melhor possível – vegetais –, de gozar, de procriar, de pensar na medida em que foram atingindo a inteligência – micróbios, bichos, animais , humanóides e humanos. Documentários têm-nos evidenciado que nem só os humanos usam o sexo não só para procriar, mas também, compulsivamente, para gozar, ter prazer.

Premissa menor.  O sexo não é, pois, só para procriar: é também para gozar.

Com Natália Correia, ilustra-se a menor:

Na sessão de 3 de Abril de 1982, em resposta à afirmação do deputado do CDS João Morgado de que “o sexo é só para fazer filhos”, a grande poetiza Natália Correia subiu à tribuna e leu o seguinte poema, escrito  num repente:

“Já que o coito – diz Morgado –
tem como fim cristalino,
preciso e imaculado,
fazer menina ou menino;
e cada vez que o varão
sexual petisco manduca,
temos na procriação
prova de que houve truca-truca,

Conclusão. Ergo, cada um poderá casar-se com hétero- ou com homo-, como lhe é natural.

Pior a emenda que o soneto? E como vamos classificar, agora, os seus “beijinhos”? Mas, além dos “beijinhos”, lemos, nos jornais de 19/11 que a

“Ministra manda avaliar mesmo sem objectivos. Ministério da Educação cede a sindicatos e envia ofício às escolas para que todos os professores sejam classificados, mesmo os que não entregaram objectivos individuais. Em aberto fica a possibilidade de entrega de auto-avaliação”.

E termina assim o corpo da notícia:

“Esta possibilidade, reclamada por todos os sindicatos de professores vem contribuir para esvaziar ainda mais o debate das propostas da oposição que hoje vão a plenário da Assembleia da República e reclamam a suspensão do modelo em vigor”. (Destacado: “Escolas vão ainda receber orientações para parar processos”, DN 19/11/09, p. 18).

E agora, Senhora Ministra?

Perante o que vimos acontecer no tal debate e, sobretudo, na sua conclusão, eu acho que a Senhora Ministra, para manter a sua dignidade e a sua honra, só tem uma atitude a tomar.

1.  Um charco lexical: nomes substantivos, adjectivos, verbos e expressões, em  campo lexical ( todos a ver com a raiz rup- ) ou campo semântico (a ver com a ideia de quebrar, violar, infringir, esfrangalhar, estilhaçar):

Corrupção < corruptio-onis

Corromper < corrumpere, corrupi, corruptum (Con-+ rumpere*, diz o Torrinha )

Corrupto < Corruptus-a-um

Corrompido – adjectivo verbal, particípio passado do verbo (vernáculo) corromper

Luvas: suborno.

Por baixo da mesa: sub-repticiamente, às escondidas. Mas também se usa o  antónimo: às escâncaras .

Cunha:  “Peça de ferro ou madeira, com duas faces em ângulo bastante agudo, que serve para rachar lenha, fender pedras, etc.; […] (sentido figurado): recomendação; pedido, empenho […] Sua excelência a Cunha (plebeísmo: Cuinha). O grande agente de emprego e de ‘encomendas’: para amigos, compadres ou sócios e parceiros. / Tráfico de influências: Se podias dar um jeitinho pra isto e pràquilo. – Ó amigo, é já! – Obrigadinho, pá. – Manda sempre, pá!

Nepotismo: “(HISTÓRIA) posição de relevo, no campo honorífico ou administrativo, dada por alguns papas a pessoas da própria família” (Porto Editora). Como estes dicionários são discretos, de humildade cristã e reverente!: com ‘pessoas da própria família’, querem dizer ‘sobrinhos’ para não lhes chamarem ‘filhos ‘ que é o que eram. Veja-se o Torrinha: “nepos, nepotis – neto, sobrinho, descendente […]; dissipador, pródigo, perdulário, devasso”. Dos papas passou ao comum dos mortais. Compadrio e amiguismo situam-se na mesma área semântica

2. E porquê todo este  charco lexical? Ainda perguntas porquê ? Então, não dá ele a ideia, o retrato deste país corrupto em que estamos metidos? Desta neblina, deste nevoeiro que envolve o país – Estado, empresariado, muitos cidadãos que até elegem gente comprovadamente corrupta e condenada? E todo esse nevoeiro pantanal, não está ele a pontos de querer tapar os olhos do país, do Zé Povinho, dos desempregados, dos pobres, dos remediados, ou mesmo alguns ricos sérios? Estará o País condenado a viver no nevoeiro do pântano, ou no pântano enterrado até às orelhas, cada vez mais mísero e mesquinho? Governado por um governo que está, há uns anos, constantemente a ser beliscado pela suspeição, pela descredibilização? Teremos nós de nos encher de resignação cristã, neste negrume, neste cheirume de gato fedorento em que nos movemos? Tudo à nossa volta exala fedor! Tudo fede!

3. E porque é que tudo isto faz lembrar o engenheiro Cravinho? Ah! O engenheiro Cravinho lá está em Londres, bem colocado na vida. E bem calado. Ele lá sabia/sabe qualquer coisa… Ou cheira-lhe… E então? E então, nada! Deixem-no em paz e vivamos aqui mergulhados no nevoeiro e na lama. Pobre País!

4.  A fumarada e os enxota-fumos

Sin duda el tema de los Anusim despierta un interés inusitado y un fuerte clamor en favor del retorno de nuestros hermanos a casa.
Valiosos testimonios que merecen ser escuchados y comprendidos.

Estimado Sr. Guido:

Mi nombre es Verónica Fernández, y soy una descendiente de Benei Anusim. A principios de este año hice retorno a la religión de mis antepasados después de largos años de estudios. Ahora soy una shavei, pero aparentemente la Agencia Judía no me quiere reconocer como tal, porque por primera vez desde su existencia, desde hace pocas semanas la Agencia Judía esta colocando peros a muchos conversos y retornados de diferentes partes del mundo para poder hacer Aliyah, y los peros lo basan en cuestionar la legitimidad del certificado de conversión o retorno.

Pertenezco a una organización liderada por un rabino sefardí ortodoxo. La organización se llama Abarbanel Foundation, y mi rabino se llama Abraham Deleon-Cohen, descendiente directo del gran rabino de Turquía Isaac Abarbanel y nieto de quien fuera hasta hace algunos años el rabino principal de Turquía. Sr Guido, después de que leí su articulo en el Aurora, simplemente me puse a llorar. Usted describe exactamente lo que siento, entre ello el derecho que tenemos los shavim de regresar a la tierra que nos pertenece, y a la cual ahora se nos niega el acceso. Sr. Guido, yo he estado en Israel anteriormente. Israel no es una tierra fácil, ni su gente. Yo vivo muy cómoda en los EEUU, pero mi alma de sionista no me va a dejar en paz hasta que yo haga Aliyah, porque hacer Aliyah para mi representa no solo retornar a la tierra de mis antepasados, sino que junto conmigo estarán retornando todos mis antepasados a los que se les negó hasta el derecho de profesar su fe judía. Hacer Aliyah no solo hace justicia a mi deseo de estar allá sino también hace justicia a todos mis antepasados que murieron en el exilio y sin ser aceptados por su propia comunidad judía. El no poder hacer Aliyah seria tan devastador como si se me negara el derecho de ser judía.

Quien quiere mudarse a Israel en estos días? En especial después de tantas amenazas de parte de Irán y de Siria, y de la posible disminución del apoyo de parte de USA? Que yo sepa muy pocos, pero si conozco miles de Benei Anusim sionistas en diferentes países de Latinoamérica que están haciendo un enorme sacrificio por aprender Tora y Hebreo para hacer su retorno, que algunos de ellos quieren comenzar a conformar kibbutz en sus países para irse acostumbrando desde ya al sistema, que los mas jóvenes quieren entrar en el IDF para servir a la única patria que consideran suya: Israel, que están dispuestos a mudarse a asentamientos donde ni los mismos israelíes quieren estar por temor a enfrentamientos con grupos terroristas, ya que estos sionistas consideran que morir como israelí en su patria es mejor que vivir como exiliado y rechazado por su propio pueblo en sus países natales.

Sr. Guido, soy estudiante de comunicación social con mención en relaciones públicas. Estoy tratando de consolar a mi rabino y a los miembros de nuestra organización después de haber recibido la desagradable noticia de parte de la Agencia Judía. Estoy tratando de comenzar a hacer alianzas con otros rabinos ortodoxos (no hay muchos que defiendan nuestra causa) para conseguir apoyo. Estoy tratando de comunicarme con el resto de las organizaciones en España, Portugal, Brasil, Colombia, Venezuela, México, etc, para hacer un frente común, pero lamentablemente no conozco gente importante en Israel que quiera apoyar nuestra causa. Su artículo me permitió percibir que Ud. es uno de esos pocos en Israel que sabe de nuestra existencia y nuestra pasión sionista, y de nuestro derecho a estar en Israel para habitarla, desarrollarla y hasta defenderla.

Acudo formalmente a usted solicitando orientación de como hacer conocer nuestra causa, lamento y tragedia ante la opinión publica Israelí, de que nos están cerrando las puertas porque ahora hay un nuevo” filtro ” en la Agencia Judía que impuso el rabinato de Jerusalén quien decide cuales conversiones o retornos son validas. Como podemos comunicarnos con estadistas israelíes, o miembros del Knesset que saben que Israel necesita gente, que el IDF necesita mas soldados fieles, que hay profesionales dispuestos a dejar la comodidad que han adquirido en sus países natales, que hay gente humilde pero con muchas ganas de trabajar el desierto del Neguev hasta que este florezca, que no quieren que el gobierno de Israel los mantenga sino que les den una oportunidad de hacer algo por la patria que sus almas claman?

Le ruego al Eterno que el haber leído su articulo no haya sido pura casualidad y de que Ud. nos sirva de orientación para hacer conocer nuestro clamor en Israel.

Leí su articulo y me pareció muy interesante, sin duda alguna se despierta una oleada de personas que quieren llegar al Judaísmo, en mi caso hice mi conversión hace 4 meses junto con mi esposa y 17 familias mas, y quedan por lo menos otras 20 familias mas, juntos conformamos un comunidad que desea y lucha por conocer y practicar el camino de la Torah, y el amor a Hashem.

Le mostraré mi historia y creo que se sorprenderá, pero le aclaro que aunque busque en las listas de apellidos sefardíes, mis apellidos no los encontrará porque debido a la conversión forzada al cristianismo, mis apellidos se perdieron o extraviaron. No obstante, con exhaustivas investigaciones se ha recuperado la información. He aquí la historia que deseo compartir con usted, luego que se perdieran previamente con la asimilación obligada:

Apellidos Santi y Pereiro. Este es un breve resumen de la ascendencia judía de los apellidos Santi y Pereiro. Santi es un derivativo del apellido Santos y Pereiro otro derivativo del apellido Pereira. Santi tiene una etimología religiosa. Por ejemplo, si escuchamos lo que dice el Papa en latín Spiriti Santi (Espíritu Santo) como también lo que sale de boca de cualquier sacerdote católico, aquí, pues, podemos tener una idea o noción del significado de Santi.

Santi también puede ser una variante del latín Sanctus que equivale a Santo, sin embargo no pierde su etimología religiosa. Además, Santi proviene de la localidad de Alessandria, en la provincia de Piemonte, al norte de Italia (Santos italianizado Santi). En su conversión forzada, los judíos a veces elegían nombres de santos o de símbolos católicos para sustituir su nombre hebreo. Otras veces conservaban el propio nombre hebreo adaptado al idioma de acogida (catalán, castellano, vasco, galaico portugués, italiano, etc.)

Con referencia a Pereiro, ya es distinto a Santi, ya que es un peral o árbol de peras, así como lo es el apellido Pereira. Este apellido es el nombre de pueblos y calles en la región de Galicia, al norte de España. El Pereiro, como árbol, produce un delicioso fruto (la pera) que se consume y con su madera se fabrican flechas y ballestas (su madera es recomendada por su calidad para tales fines). La pera, el peral, así como otros árboles, frutales o no, fueron asumidos como nombres por los judíos en base a lo que dice la Biblia: « Después de todo, ¿son los árboles del campo seres humanos, que los tienen que asediar también? » (Deuteronomio 20: 19). Forzados a la diáspora, los judíos iban traduciendo sus nombres a los idiomas de acogida.

Para terminar, se puede decir que Santi al ser variante de Santos, apellido de origen judeoconverso español, es de origen sefardí, no obstante Santi pertenece a un clan de personas convertidas al cristianismo en el siglo XIV y Pereiro también es un derivativo de Pereira que es otro apellido judeoconverso español, por ende, el clan de Pereiro posee raíz sefardita, pero sus integrantes se hallan convertidos a la cristiandad desde el siglo XV.

Seguí muy de cerca todo lo que publicaste con referencia a nuestros hermanos Anusim y me siento reconfortado saber que en tu persona se encuentra un luchador infatigable por la JUSTICIA y la reparación histórica, material y espiritual cuya meta no puede ser otra que la integración al pueblo de Israel con todos sus deberes y derechos de los sefardíes convertidos a la fuerza y sus descendientes que así lo soliciten.

Desde que llegó a mis manos el libro de nuestro querido Marcos Aguinis (LA GESTA DEL MARRANO) pude meterme en las entrañas del dolor que durante siglos infringieron a nuestro pueblo esclavizados, digo esclavizado porque las conversiones forzadas y las odiseas vividas por cumplir en secreto o simplemente por tener sangre judea fue un retorno a Egipto, y no sería justo esta vez esperar a que el nuevo Moshe (MASHIAJ) venga a redimirlos, somos nosotros los que tenemos la obligación de armar el rompecabezas de Israel COMPLETO, no debe quedar ningún judeo ni sus descendientes fuera de este armado, cada uno es una pieza valiosa y jamás podremos completarlo si discriminamos y excluimos basados en conceptos xenófobos, puristas y absolutistas, los Anusim fueron, son y serán JUDEOS mas allá de lo que opinen los popes y representantes oficiales del judaísmo.

En tiempos de Abraham Avinu, todo aquel que en su corazón aceptaba el monoteísmo y manifestaba su deseo de incorporarse al pacto era considerado hijo espiritual de el, miles de años transcurrieron hasta el presente y la historia nos mostró que cada época traía un opresor con intenciones de destruir esa numerosa prole de su descendencia. Lois is rushed to the hospital after experiencing an overload of flashes from the future. While Lois is in the hospital, Tess kidnaps her in order to find out what happened to her when she disappeared for weeks.

**POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD**

Off in a Luthor Corp. facility Tess notices Zod’s power tower in Lois’s memories, so with the help of Stuart – she decides to tap into Lois’s memory in order to find out if Zod’s tower would in fact change the world as stated by Zod. Here are the rest of the episode highlights:

• Lois’s first memory she relives is waking up in the future. There’s a red sun and as she wanders she encounters one of Zod’s men (who flies over to her) and confronts her. Major Zod is now General Zod, and the Blur is gone as his signature black T-shirt is torn and hung from a pole as some sort of trophy.
• Back to the present, Clark heads to watchtower and confronts Chloe as he thinks Chloe is hiding Lois. Chloe informs him that his accusations are outrageous and that he should work on an apology later. Chloe requested Lois’s medical records and finds that Lois is suffering from post-dramatic stress disorder and every time she relives a memory from the future, her body relives the trauma and her heart can only take so much. Clark and Chloe figure out that Tess is the one who kidnapped Lois due to her obsession in finding out the truth behind Lois’s disappearance.
• Lois is taken to the Kent farm which has turned into a prison (in the future). She wanders around and runs into the ninja assassin, Alia (Monique Ganderton), who is guarding the prison. Lois requests food, but Alia asks what can she trade [in exchange for food] when Clark steps in and offers his father’s watch. Alia accepts and walks away. Lois and Clark hug and Lois asks him why she gave away his father’s watch, and Clark responds that he did it for her. (Aww…) Lois believes she is in a dream, but Clark informs her that she wasn’t dreaming and that he hasn’t seen her since she disappeared 1 year ago. Lois tells Clark that the last memory she had was fighting Tess and putting on a ring. Clark realizes she is talking about the Legion ring and that she time traveled [to the future] and asks her if she still had the ring. She says she does just when Alia comes back and tells Lois that Zod has requested to see her. Before Lois departs, Clark tells her to guard the Legion ring!
• Lois is taken to the Luthor mansion. She eyes a table full of food and treats and runs and grabs something to eat. General Zod appears and advises her to try the truffle as it is his favorite. Lois picks up a truffle and is about to take a bite when Zod takes it from her hand and takes a bite in front of her. He finds the Legion ring in her pocket and takes it. He then asks her about Clark when Tess enters in soldier attire. Tess tells Zod that Lois use to work for her. Lois is extremely upset because Tess chose to side with Zod and his people. Tess admits that she helped Zod gain power because she believes that Zod and his people will save humanity. Zod then makes a reference back to Clark stating that Clark is only alive because he has always hoped that Clark would join him in the hopes of bridging the gap between the humans and his people. Tess adds that she has tried her best to convince Clark to join them, but it seems their efforts are fruitless. Zod has given up on Clark and decides to execute Lois and Clark. (Oh no!)
• Before the execution, Zod presents Tess with dog tags as way to initiate her into his army. Clark is brought to the Luthor mansion and he pleads with Zod to spare Lois’s life and take his life. Zod’s people force Clark to kneel before him as Zod grabs a sword. Zod is about to chop Clark’s head off when a gang of rebels dressed in black drop in and start shooting kryptonite arrows. Zod and some of his people (including Fiona) manage to escape afterward Oliver approaches Lois. Lois and Oliver hug and Chloe comes over and hugs Lois too. Clark joins them and thanks Chloe and Oliver for saving their lives. There is some tension between Clark and Chloe. During the save attempt, Tess was shot with one of the arrows. Oliver approaches her, and Tess admits that she took a risk siding with Zod. Tess dies in Oliver’s arms. Chloe approaches Oliver and tells him that she had the shot and she took it.
• Oliver buries Tess as Lois looks on just when present day Tess wakes up and hyperventilates a bit after seeing her fate. She tells Stuart that Chloe kills her (in the future) and Stuart jests that he doesn’t know what she saw but she was very much alive in the present. Tess believes that Lois’s memories are too dangerous for anyone else to discover and demands Stuart to erase Lois’s memories of the future. Stuart tells her that if he attempts to erase Lois’s memories and makes a mistake, Lois could become catatonic. Tess demands Stuart to obey her request but Stuart refuses and Tess shoots him. Tess heads to the computer in order to erase Lois’s memories when Clark superspeeds in but is weakened by the kryptonite powered equipment. Tess plays the innocent victim and tries to blame everything on Stuart but Clark shoves her aside and Tess is knocked out cold.
• Clark takes out one of Lois’s brain taps out but he accidentally sticks himself with it and falls to the ground (because kryptonite is now shooting into his body). Clark is now tapped into Lois’s mind and he experiences her next memory.
• Lois explains to Chloe and Oliver that she traveled to their time with the Legion ring and now Zod had the ring. Clark realizes they need to send Lois back to her time in order to warn their past selves how to prevent this future from becoming a reality. Chloe devises a plan to use watchtower to take down Zod’s tower because it is what is causing the red sun which in turn has given the Kandorians their powers. Clark chimes in that if Chloe is able to take down Zod’s tower and bring back the yellow sun, he is their best chance against Zod. Lois is confused how bringing back the yellow sun would make Clark their “#1 draft pick”, but no one elaborates. Clark responds and says that he and Zod have a history.
• Later at Clark’s place, he splashes some water on his face when Lois enters. Clark asks if she was alright and Lois recounts the day of time traveling to a not so bright future, witnessing flying aliens taking over the earth, and almost getting her head chopped off. She then admits that the one fact she cannot believe is that Chloe and Clark were not friends anymore (in the future). Clark admits that once Lois disappeared, he couldn’t be around Chloe and Oliver anymore because it reminded him of her and that hurt too much. Lois approaches Clark and asks about the history he and Zod shared, but he dodges the question and says that he has made some mistakes in the past. Lois and Clark kiss and they make love to each other. Watch this scene here.
• Dr. Hamilton and Chloe find Clark in the Luthor Corp. Lab as Dr. Hamilton examines Clark who is unresponsive. Chloe has called an ambulance and reports that Stuart lost a lot of blood but he will make a full recovery. Tess is expected to recover too. Dr. Hamilton begins to attempt to disconnect Clark from Lois’s mind, but Chloe dissuades him because Lois’s memories may help Clark prevent the world’s destruction.
• Lois experiences another memory and it’s of her, Chloe, and Oliver heading to watchtower. Chloe boots up the computers and proceeds to upload a virus into Zod’s network in order to take down the tower. Oliver suits up in his Green Arrow outfit as Chloe finishes up. Oliver and Lois prepare to leave when Lois turns to Chloe. Chloe assures her that she’ll be right behind them and tells them to go on ahead. Before they leave, Oliver hands Lois a kryptonite knife (with a lead cover) so that she can protect herself. Lois heads outside and ducks behind a car. Chloe comes out and starts running toward Lois but before she can reach her, she is cut off by Alia. Alia takes out her sword and stabs Chloe. Oliver drives Alia away by pointing his bow towards her and she superspeeds away. Lois runs to Chloe but Chloe dies in her arms. Oliver tells Lois that they need to get the Legion ring back so that Lois can go back and help prevent a future like this to ever happen. Lois runs off ahead while Oliver stands watch. Oliver prepares himself as the sky is filled with Kandorians flying above and all of them are coming toward Oliver.
• Meanwhile, Zod is dragging Clark across the ground and asks why don’t the humans just give in and concede to his rule. Clark tells Zod that humans are resilient and they will not concede so easily. Lois catches up to Zod and Clark and she throws Clark the kryptonite knife toward him as she tries to remain unseen. Zod steps on Clark’s hand which is grasping the knife. Zod lowers his head and looks at Clark and says: “goodbye son of Jor-El” and he delivers a kicks that sends Clark soaring. Lois starts to run towards Clark but Zod grabs her. All of the sudden, Zod’s tower powers down and the yellow sun appears. Lois gets away as Zod is still in a state of shock that his tower is offline as Clark approaches him. Clark then tells Zod that his reign of terror is over. Zod is furious and tells Clark that he (Clark that is) forced his hand, which in turn caused him to unleash his power. Zod then stabs Clark with the kryptonite knife. Clark takes the Legion ring from Zod and gives him a good shove which sends Zod sailing and landing with a big thud to the ground.
• Clark pulls out the kryptonite knife as Lois runs to him. Clark instructs Lois to put the Legion ring on so that she can head back to her time. Lois is afraid that she’ll never see Clark ever again. Clark assures her that she will and they kiss. They both stand and Clark places the ring on Lois’s hand when Alia spots them and runs toward Lois and she is able to touch the ring and hitch a ride with Lois back to her time.
• Flashes occur of Lois’s arrival back to the present when Alia attacked Lois on the train (which is how the Season 9 premiere opened) just when Clark wakes up. Clark asks if Lois is ok and Chloe assures him that she is ok and that Dr. Hamilton was able to erase her memories from the future as well as the medical problems that was plaguing her due to the post-dramatic stress episodes she experienced [from having these future flashbacks].
• At the Planet, Clark hands Lois a maple doughnut which she happily eats. Lois notes concern on Clark’s face and repeats her doctor’s prognosis was that she’s hypoglycemic and as long as she eats every 3 hours – she’ll be fine. Clark tells her that he almost lost her once and he wasn’t going to let it happen again. Lois starts to push papers when Clark asks her what exactly is going on between the two of them. Lois is a little flabbergasted and tells Clark to slow down. She elaborates and says that she has had bad relationships before and she didn’t want to mess things up again. Clark says that they should make “dating” work for them and they should take their time. Lois agrees and says that they should start by going out for coffee followed by numerous lunch dates and she insists that Clark take her to a monster truck rally one day. The elevator arrives and they both get in and before the elevator door closes, Lois holds Clark’s hand.
• Later, Clark enters watchtower smiling. Oliver jokes that Clark seems awfully chipper for someone that took at large dose of kryptonite. Clark responds and says that the sun is shining, Lois is going to recover, and all is well. Chloe enters the room and makes it a point to mention that no one seemed to be worried that they’re all going to suffer horrible deaths in the not so distant future. Clark points out that they can do something now in order to prevent the future he saw ever happen. Oliver suggests that they take Zod out now, but Clark says no because the future he saw had him treat Zod as the enemy which caused Zod to fight back with a vengeance. Clark makes a decision that he will befriend Zod so that Zod can see how great life on Earth could be. Chloe advises against that notion but Clark’s mind is set. Clark then repeats his father’s last words to “save Zod” which he has now interpreted as saving Zod from himself.
• Zod is addressing his solders and tells them that his tower must be built. He assigns one person to find out what building regulations they need to abide by to insure that they can begin building the tower, he assigns another person to find out the energy requirements needed for the tower, he’s about to assign a job to Alia when Clark drops in wearing his Blur attire. He addresses Zod and says that he has heard that he (Zod) has been looking for him. Zod turns to Clark and looks happy (in a sinister way) that Clark has finally come to see them. Zod commands his troops to kneel before Kal-El and they all do (minus Zod) and the gesture catches Clark by surprise.

A causa di un imprevisto arrivero’ abbastanza in ritardo, ma saro’ comunque presente (^^)b

O que aqui se disse relativo à crónica de Vasco Graça Moura (ensaio mais histórico), pode voltar a dizer-se agora, depois de se ter lido Sobre Caim, de Pilar del Rio (mais antropológico) (DN 29/10/2009, p. 50). Termina assim:

“Sigamos então por caminhos marcados por lendas, com interpretações simbólicas ou não, mas tenhamos ao menos a decência de atribuir-nos a sua autoria: a de havermos criado a divindade e toda a dor e sacrifício que os deuses supostamente impuseram ao mundo. À imagem e semelhança do ser humano”.

É assim. Quando alguém passa da crença em Deus para a descrença, é quando a sua cabeça virou ao contrário o versículo da Bíblia relativo à criação do homem e, com convicção, o adopta assim virado : “ …e diz [Deus]: Façamos o homem à nossa imagem e semelhança” (Gen. 1, 26). Lá dizia, há pouco tempo ainda, em Vila da Feira, o grande escritor Salman Rushdie: “Deus é o maior erro da espécie humana”. E então não será mesmo?

Mas vejam só se pode falar de coerência o cronista habitual do DN de Domingo, penúltima página (01/11/2009). À afirmação de Pilar “os chamados seres racionais estão loucos, por isso talvez não mereçam a existência”, ele responde: “eu não chegaria a tão dramática conclusão, mas é notável ver uma comunista de sempre [sic] falar com tamanha franqueza do credo que professou e que, contra toda a coerência, continua a professar [sic].”

Ninguém que esteja de algum modo interessado na polémica Caim/Bíblia/Deus/ Saramago/Igreja deverá dar por terminada a sua tarefa de participar ou simplesmente acompanhar sem ler a crónica de Vasco Graça Moura (VGM) Melhor crer do que ler? (DN, 28/10/2009, p. 54). Ali está tudo, tratado em género ensaio histórico, tudo o que Saramago disse, primeiro em género ficção (sátira ou “escárnio e maldizer”?) e, depois em debate, em entrevista, em conferência.

Quem leu ontem a crónica de Miguel Tavares sobre o assunto, e hoje a de VGM!…

Começo por dizer que geralmente leio e aprecio as crónicas de João Miguel Tavares. Mas esta As afirmações religiosas do ateu José Saramago (DN, 27/OUT/2009, p. 9) mais me parece uma série de excertos da homilia que o autor terá ouvido no último domingo. Que grande confusão, meu Deus! Confusão semântica, confusão teológica, confusão filosófica. Então digam-me: um ateu, por ser ateu, não pode falar de ética? Não pode analisar um texto do ponto de vista da ética? Pois! Sócrates (nada de confusões aqui!), quando estava a virar a juventude grega contra os deuses do Olimpo, que pelos vistos estavam acima de toda a ética humana, foi obrigado a tomar  a cicuta letal. Ele, que “só sabia que nada sabia”! Vejam:

“… o escritor português defendeu ‘o direito à heresia’. Carreira das Neves respondeu, e muito bem, que Saramago não pode ser herético se não acredita em Deus. Tivesse o nosso Prémio Nobel da Literatura mais cuidado com as palavras e perceberia que aquilo que está a defender é, isso sim, o direito à blasfémia.”

E mais adiante:

“… uma série de gestos muito atinados mas que passam ao lado do essencial: um ateu pode perfeitamente dizer que a Bíblia é um manual de má literatura; não pode é dizer que é um manual de maus costumes”.

E porque não? E agora esta barbaridade:

“Só quem acredita que a Bíblia tem alguma relação com a palavra de Deus está habilitado para sobre ela fazer considerações éticas”.

Esta, é de pasmar! Ainda para mais saída da pena de um escriba jornalista! Pena que eu tantas vezes tenho visto passar com o bico sobre a ética de figuras políticas e não só! Poderá um jornalista fazê-lo: ler um texto e analisá-lo do ponto de vista ético? E porque não um escritor? E porque não um ateu?

E agora vejam só mais esta:

“… A maior parte dos cristãos dirá que a Bíblia é um Manual de bons costumes. Mas seja para dizer que os costumes são bons, seja para dizer que os costumes são maus, é preciso acreditar no ‘poder ético’ daquele livro, ou seja, na transformação da palavra em acção. Ora, um ateu necessariamente não acredita nessa transformação, e por isso tem de olhar para a Bíblia como olha para outro livro qualquer: estética e nada mais.”

Nada mais porquê? Quer isto dizer que um crente terá de deixar de se preocupar com a ética quando deixar de crer em Deus? Não haverá aqui uma grande confusão de ética com teologia moral?

Fiquei com pena daquele concorrente ao Jogo da Língua (Antena 1, 14:30 h) que ligava da linda terra das alheiras, Mirandela. Foi-lhe posta a questão assim: “Qual é o plural de decreto-lei?” E ele disse logo: “Decretos-leis”. Mas em seguida o problema foi-lhe proposto assim: “Tem de escolher uma destas duas: decretos-leis ou decretos-lei?” E o homem, muito baralhado, pensou pensou e disse: “bom, decretos-lei”… Veio a senhora doutora e explicou: decretos-leis, porque não sei quê não sei quantos, porque era assim mesmo… E o homenzinho ficou sem o livro. E eu sou capaz de dizer: em um “jogo da língua” assim, questões polémicas não se devem pôr! Polémica, esta? Sim.

Embora o tal Dicionário da Academia diga que o plural de decreto-lei é decretos-leis, e mais nada, há quem, com muita autoridade, diga que esse nome substantivo composto pode ter como plural: decretos-lei ou decretos-leis ou vice-versa (Cf. Dicionário Aurélio e Dicionário Houaiss). Mas a polémica não fica por aqui. A Nova  Gramática do Português Contemporâneo, de  Celso Cunha e Lindley Cintra (Sá da Costa, 3.ª ed., p. 188) diz: “c) também só o primeiro toma a forma de plural quando o segundo termo da composição é um substantivo que funciona como determinante específico: navios-escola…”, opinião seguida por gramáticas adoptadas nas escolas. Ora se decreto é um diploma com força de lei emanado do Governo, e lei é um diploma legislativo emanado do órgão propriamente legislador, no composto decreto-lei, o segundo elemento bem pode(deve) ser considerado um determinante específico. E ainda, conforme o Prontuário Ortográfico e guia da língua portuguesa, Notícias, 47ª edição, p. 56:

“- Nos compostos formados por dois nomes (normalmente ligados por hífen) em que o segundo elemento tem uma função adjectival só o primeiro elemento vai para o plural: escolas-modelo, expressões-chave, projectos-piloto, etc.”

Neste “etc.” poderíamos acrescentar, entre outros, os nossos “decretos-lei”.

Mas o Jogo da Língua não acaba aqui. Há dois dias, a pergunta era: “deve-se escrever/dizer precaridade ou precariedade?” A senhora doutora explicou: precariedade, porque é assim nos nomes deste tipo derivados de adjectivos terminados em –ário. Está bem. Mas eu acho que a senhora doutora podia muito bem alargar a explicação, porque esta não abrange substantivos do mesmo tipo, como ansiedade (de ânsia), piedade (de pio), sobriedade (de sóbrio), sociedade (de sócio), seriedade (de sério); e decerto alguns outros que não derivam de adjectivos terminados em –ário, mas simplesmente em –io (ou –ia). Há, ainda, o caso de saciedade que nos vem do latino satietate, derivado não de adjectivo ou substantivo, mas sim de advérbio – satius – comparativo de superioridade de satis. Saciedade é, pois, o estado de qualquer coisa que é “mais que bastante”, ou seja, o estado de saturação.

Até porque, de minha experiência, não posso considerar o Dicionário da Academia o “papa” dos dicionários da língua portuguesa, muito ao contrário.

Oliver (Justin Hartley) tries his luck at Roulette and when he is down on his luck he is approached by a mysterious woman (guest star Steph Song) to play one final game. The woman sets up a classic 3 cup game and asks Oliver to choose a cup. Underneath the cup is a red pill and Oliver has a bit of a Matrix moment where he can choose not to play or take the red pill and continue the game. He chooses to take the red pill and things start to get hazy and when Oliver wakes up, he realizes he has stepped into a dangerous game and must fight for his life.

**POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD**

Back at Clark’s house, Clark speeds in and finds Lois folding her laundry. Clark quickly changes out of his Blur suit and changes into normal clothes. Clark asks Lois why she is there, and she says that she brought movies for a movie night. As Lois and Clark watch the movie, Clark uses excuses like getting drinks and popcorn in order to respond to those he hears in distress. Meanwhile after Oliver wakes up from being drugged, he finds himself in a coffin with a flashlight. He looks around the coffin and sees the words “Game on” written on the wall. Oliver is able to unhook the latch in the coffin and he is able to break free from his confinement. He finds another coffin in the room and noises were coming from it. Oliver opens the coffin and finds a speaker in the coffin and all of a sudden a voice resonates in the room and tells Oliver that he has to say the safe word in order to end the game but Oliver doesn’t know the rules of the game. A dog chases Oliver and he gets into an unlocked car then a truck comes toward the car and Oliver can’t get out because the doors were jammed and Oliver ducks down as the truck rams into the car. Here are the rest of the episode highlights:

• Back at Clark’s house, Clark figures out that Lois is not telling him what is bothering her and she admits that she is upset because it is Oliver’s birthday and they have a tradition to play beer pong (on his b-day) but Oliver hasn’t been answering his phone.
• Oliver wakes up along side the wrecked car and he gets up and makes a call to Chloe for help but the call is intercepted and the person on the phone said that it wasn’t going to be that easy (to get out of the game). Oliver hangs up and looks at his wrist and finds a “Roulette” (the gambling establishment where he was drugged) stamp. Oliver heads to the Roulette club and finds the woman who drugged him there. She is flustered and runs up to him and kisses him and whispers in his ear that the game is still in play and there are people in the room that are part of it. Both Oliver and the woman fight the people in the club and they run out of there together. The woman’s name is Victoria and she explains to Oliver that the people she works for are dangerous and that he must’ve upset someone greatly in order for him to get involved in “the game”. As they are running Victoria is shot in the back and as Oliver checks on her the cops come and find Oliver covered in blood and Oliver explains that he didn’t kill her and they tase him.
• Lois and Clark head to Oliver’s apartment and they snoop around. Lois logs into Oliver’s computer as Clark discovers the Roulette napkin. Lois watches a video on Oliver’s computer, which is the footage from the Toyman’s attempted bombing and finds out that Oliver almost committed suicide and she is upset with Clark (she sees Clark approach Oliver in the video) for keeping this from her.
• Oliver wakes up and finds himself changed to a chair in an interrogation room. The cop that tased Oliver starts talking to him but reveals that the case has been turned over to the FBI. A FBI agent enters the room and tells Oliver that he knows about “the game” and that the FBI have been investigating the people behind “the game”. The FBI agent further elaborates that “the game” targets wealthy individuals as he puts a computer in front of Oliver. He advises Oliver to check his accounts in order to make sure that his money has been untouched. Oliver checks his accounts and all of his money is intact. The agent says “that’s a good thing” and leaves the room, then all of a sudden Oliver’s account is drained and Oliver calls for help when gas starts seeping into the room. Clark rushes in and saves Oliver and there is a bit of confusion on Oliver’s part because he finds himself in a warehouse of sorts and the interrogation room was a fake and “the game” was over (since all of his money was taken).
• Clark and Oliver head to the watchtower to find Chloe and Chloe does a little computer work and finds out that Victoria’s alias is “Roulette”. Oliver storms off in order to find the people behind “the game” and Chloe shows Clark the footage from Oliver’s computer and zooms in a particular person. It is the ninja assassin lady (alive and well) on the night of the bombing and Clark is shocked because he buried her body himself when she died in the barn. Chloe advises Clark to ask Jor-El to find out more about the woman.
• Meanwhile, Lois is on her phone and she manages to find Oliver’s car and she is greeted by Victoria! They fight and Victoria pulls a gun on Lois.
• Oliver heads to the Roulette club and finds a woman dressed in red at the bar and points a gun at her. The woman doesn’t say anything and Oliver cocks his gun but he doesn’t fire. Then he finds that the woman in red is Lois tied up and when Oliver tries to help Lois, Victoria enters and points her gun at Oliver. Victoria says that she is disappointed and says that Oliver lacks a killer’s instinct. Victoria starts firing and Oliver ducks and when he rises he finds that Victoria is hiding behind Lois. Lois indicates to Oliver to shoot Victoria but he doesn’t because he doesn’t want to hit Lois. Oliver then smells gasoline in the room and Victoria waves a lighter in her hand and threatens to torch the place but she runs off to a room off to the side. There is a loud crash and Victoria calls for help. Oliver runs in and finds Victoria under a heavy slab and flames are starting to engulf the room. He tries to lift the slab but he is unable to. Then Victoria slips out and all of the flames in the room extinguish. Victoria asks Oliver who did he destroy and she flips a switch and mirror faces Oliver. She says that the hero is still in him (because he tried to save her), but he has look within.
• Chloe is sitting at a cafe when Oliver brings her a King chess piece as he has figured out that Chloe was behind the whole “game”. Oliver thanks Chloe for saving his life both the “myth and the man”. Although Oliver questions the safety of Lois when they were playing “the game” and Chloe says that Lois was not suppose to be involved but she made sure that Oliver’s gun had blanks (because she didn’t trust Oliver but she had faith in his heroism). Oliver asks if Clark was involved and Chloe said that Clark was not involved in her plan but the Justice League members were.
• Lois stops by as Oliver checks on his computer that his money is all back, and she talks to him about the video on his computer. She asks him why he never came to talk to her if he was having problems and Oliver responds that it was “pride, fear, and regret” that prevented him as he was fighting his demons. Lois asks was there “nothing in life worth fighting for”? Oliver responds that he never felt that way when he was with her but he knows that things have changed between them. Lois says that things have changed but she is always there for him. They conclude their talk by playing beer pong.
• At watchtower, Clark talks to Chloe after talking to Jor-El and he finds out that the woman’s name is Alia and the symbol on her shoulder (as seen on the video) was a family crest and that she was Kandorian. Kandor was suppose to explode with Krypton but somehow with the time rift they can’t tell how many Kandorians survive. Chloe checks her computer and she assures Clark that he is not alone (implying there are more of his kind).
• Oliver suits up in his Green Arrow costume on top of a building and Clark approaches him. Oliver says that Clark’s outfit is dumb and that he can refer Clark to his tailor. Oliver then gets serious and says that Clark has done a great job and now he is there to help him.

Next week’s episode is titled “Crossfire”. “There are moments that define a legend then there are moments that are legendary…” Hidden meaning…Lois and Clark kiss! Watch the promo for “Crossfire” here.

Tendo em vista o penúltimo parágrafo, relativo à pontuação, achei oportuno acrescentar algo. O problema da pontuação, remete para aquilo a que os linguistas chamam sinais diacríticos e volto a dizer que me parece que o seu uso mais normativo, em Caim como em outras grandes obras anteriores do Autor (v.g. O Evangelho), não só não prejudicariam o estilo, como, ainda, aumentariam a clareza do discurso e, em consequência, facilitariam a leitura. Lendo Caim, não raras vezes me aconteceu parar para ver se  determinada vírgula era interrogativa ou não. E reparei que em muitos casos, o narrador vê-se obrigado, para confirmar a interrogação, usar a intercalada “respondeu”, “perguntou” e outras. Estaria também resolvido o problema didáctico do ensino/aprendizagem, quando, na escola, se recorre a textos saramaguianos.  Mesmo o uso da maiúscula em nomes próprios. Mas, repito,  a genialidade da narrativa lá está sempre, seja com o desvio diacrítico original ou fosse com a pontuação de uso universal.

As palavras, na sua forma, na sua significação e no seu uso, têm muito que se lhes diga; precisam de ser bem definidas antes de serem usadas, seja em monólogo, em diálogo, ou em debate. Quem estudou um pouco de Lógica, devia saber isto e mais coisas.

Vem isto a propósito de Saramago e o seu Caim, da Bíblia e o seu Deus, e a polémica que daí vem. Dizem alguns crentes, a começar pelos que se consideram guardiões da crença e da fé em Deus, que o que escreve Saramago, o que ele diz, é insulto à fé dos crentes (ou aos crentes da fé), confundindo polémica, opinião e insulto. Antes de mais, vamos lá então definir.

Polémica s. f. discussão acesa, controvérsia; debate (Do grego polemike, feminino do adjectivo que deriva do substantivo pólemos que significa guerra).

Insulto s. m. (Do lat medieval insultu). O verbo insultar, do lat. insultare (in+saltare com o afrouxamento do ‘a’ em ‘u’ = saltar sobre, atacar, injuriar).

Opinião s. f. modo de ver pessoal ou subjectivo; parecer emitido sobre um assunto…

E agora vamos lá ver.

O senhor A diz que isto é assim. O senhor B diz que isto é assado

O senhor A diz que o que diz o senhor B é insulto ao que aquele diz e crê.

E então podemos perguntar. Se o que o senhor B diz de uma coisa é insulto ao senhor A pelo que ele diz dessa coisa, não será também insulto ao senhor B o que diz dessa mesma coisa o senhor A?

Mais concretamente. O senhor A diz que Deus existe. O senhor B diz que deus não existe. O senhor A diz que o senhor B está a insultá-lo ao dizer que Deus não existe.. Então e o senhor A não estará a insultar o senhor B ao dizer que Deus existe? São duas opiniões, contraditórias, subjectivas  que, no nosso caso têm, uma e outra, como referência a Bíblia, que o senhor A diz que tem Deus por autor e o senhor B diz que é da autoria de homens e está a ser lógico: não pode ter Deus por autor, porque ele não existe.

Então o melhor será, na base da Democracia e da Lógica, o senhor A e o senhor B, em liberdade de pensamento e expressõo, poderem expressar a sua opinião, sem que alguém possa arrogar-se o direito de ter mais direito de livre expressão do que o outro… Deixem o Caim de Saramago (e o da Bíblia) cumprir o seu destino de uma errância sem limite, como, de resto, lhe está traçado pelo autor da Bíblia, seja ele quem for.

Uma narrativa genial que só me põe um problema: a pontuação. Problema que, em minha modesta opinião, sem afectar o estilo e mesmo decerto a barroca fluidez do discurso,  podia ser resolvido pelo próprio Autor… Com duas vantagens: 1) não dificultava, aos alunos de português, a aprendizagem da pontuação normativa, e 2) tornaria o discurso mais claro e assim facilitaria a leitura.

Comentário complementar. Este Caim de Saramago assume notábvel relevo na linha satírica tradicional da nossa literatura. Camões, Vieira ( a quem Saramago tanto deverá felizmente), Eça, o próprio José da Silva o Judeu que foi queimado na fogueira da Inquisição, e da qual Saramago se livrou (pelo menos por enquanto!). E tantos outros, mesmo já no escárnio e maldizer medieval. O próprio Gil Vicente. Mas aquele de que me lembrei logo, ao começar a ler Caim, foi Guerra Junqueiro e a sua A Velhice do Padre Eterno contra a qual se insurgiram os guardiões infalíveis da Verdade/Dogmática. E fizeram constar que o velhinho Poeta morreu com os sacramentos… Tem cuidado Saramago! O que te valerá é que a Anjo da Guarda Pilar não deixará…

Para que não pensem que o Tento se mete em política, extravasando os limites da linguística, lembrei-me de antepor aqui uma introdução de cariz linguístico. Sim, porque a língua é base de tudo, da nossa vida social e, por isso mesmo, também da nossa vida política. Vamos lá então às palavras.

“Salgalhada , s. f. Pop. Confusão; mistura de coisas diferentes; mixórdia, trapalhada, mistifório” (Dic. Da Língua Portuguesa, J. Pedro Machado, vol VI). Etim.: De salgar. Em em 1873, D,V. (Dic. Etimológico da língua Português, mesmo autor). Explicita-se D. V.: Grande Dicionário Português ou Tesouro da Língua Portuguesa, pelo Dr. Frei Domingos Vieira. Porto, 1871-1874).

Tudo isto para para dizer que a palavra é bem vernácula, formada já na nossa língua bem crescidinha, com o seu sentido próprio e figurado. Deriva de salgalho (= acto ou efeito de salgar).

“Carácter (L. character <Gr. charaktér), Cunho; marca; impressão traçada; tipo de imprensa; distintivo; especialidade: sinal de abreviatura; índole; natureza; sentimentos; feitio moral; firmeza de vontade; expressão ajustada; propriedade.” (Ibidem).

Agora, o que nos traz aqui, hoje.

Eis o que diz o DN (18/10/2009, p. 12 “Somos todos crescidinhos”) citando o Expresso:

“Se se confirmar que o encontro foi combinado e até promovido por Carvalho da Silva, como diz o Expresso, este terá induzido em erro Jerónimo de Sousa e a outros dirigentes comunistas. Isto porque, na nota que o secretário-geral da CGTP enviou para os comunistas, este diz que transmitiu a mensagem a António Costa ‘num encontro casual’, enquanto, afinal tudo terá sido preparado ao pormenor.”

A ser verdade, poderemos então perguntar: se somos todos crescidinhos, como é possível gente tão grada comportar-se como se o não fosse?

Il periodo indaffarato sta proseguendo. Ovviamente non mi lamento, ma sembra ogni tanto di assistere ad una serie di colpi di scena uno dopo l’altro di un film di avventura, magari di quelli di serie B in cui il protagonista spera in qualche modo di arrivare intero alla fine, se pur con qualche ciccatrice… Un po’ di stress immancabilmente si accumula.

Ho visto la bozza dell’illustrazione della copertina dell’art book che uscira’ in Italia e in Francia verso marzo del prossimo anno. No, i disegni non sono i miei (anche se, be’, si’, forse uno sara’ un’illustrazione realizzata da me l’anno scorso), ma di un illustratore e mangaka giapponese. La copertina e la parte principale del volume riguarderanno comunque i personaggi tratti da una mia storia (ad essere precisi, da due racconti). Ovviamente ci saranno anche moltissimi disegni originali dell’autore dell’art book e altri concernenti alcuni romanzi e racconti di scrittori giapponesi (una parte dei quali pubblicati anche su ALIA, altri da note case editrici nipponiche). La copertina dovrebbe gia’ essere pubblicizzata sulle riviste di settore a partire da fine novembre-dicembre di quest’anno. Spero di poter presto fornire altre informazioni e di potervi far vedere la versione definitiva della cover.

E a proposito di ALIA, amici giapponesi mi hanno proprio oggi informato che ora si trova in vendita anche nella libreria Kinokuniya (minamiguchi/uscita sud) di Shinjuku a Tokyo nella sezione letteratura italiana. Non male per il volume di un piccolo editore…

La mostra a Mondovi’ di emakimono termina oggi. L’affluenza e l’interesse sono stati ottimi ed e’ stata apprezzata da molti. Sono contento.

La scorsa settimana sono poi iniziati i corsi di giapponese alla Fondazione Universita’ popolare di Torino. Spero di non aver traumatizzato troppo i nuovi allievi. I vecchi sono ormai abituati… (^^;)

Unica notizia molto triste, e’ la dipartita di Mark McFadden che e’ stato uno dei primi scrittori di lingua inglese a collaborare al progetto di ALIA. Vedere adesso la sua foto in kimono e con tanto di katana lascia un senso di amarezza… Credo che il commento di Davide renda piena giustizia all’uomo che e’ stato.

A gente cá de baixo, da “paisagem”, vê, olha e já não entende nada. Se calhar, nada já será para entender. O que se passa em Lisboa nesta campanha eleitoral para o município da Capital.

Às Portas de Santo Antão, lá está às moscas – dizem-me – uma sede (ou ex-sede?) do Movimento da Bela Helena, que deixou de ser preciso depois da “coligação” com o candidato Costa. “Já não há movimento” (até me apetece adaptar a bela canção de Rita Guerra). Sá Fernandes fugiu do BE e agarrou-se ao “tronco”. Saramago, alheio àquele que diz ser o  seu partido, por não sei que coerência ou incoerência, apoia o Costa. Carlos do Carmo, por não sei que fado, é mandatário. Já agora só falta que alguém do PSD se zangue com o Santana e se “encoste” também. E é para perguntar: se estas coligações individuais e individualistas trazem aos “coligados” ou à autarquia alguma vantagem. Se não trazem, é mau; se trazem, é muito pior. Eu acho… Não acham vocês?

Estava este texto neste ponto – vai não vai, publica-se não se publica –,  quando aconteceu a bica do Chiado, de Carvalho da Silva… E achou-se que era mesmo preciso publicá-lo, agora com mais este mau-exemplo acrescentado. Então já viram? Três militantes que se dizem de um partido – um Nobel, outro o Rei do Fado, e agora outro, Doutor, o sindicalista dos sindicalistas – todos os três a “tomar bicas” (com aspas ou sem aspas) com o candidato de outro partido. Militantes de um, mas apoiam outro, dizendo que sim senhor, são deste mas apoiam aquele. Onde está a coerência correspondente à importância (pelo menos à celebridade) destes senhores?! E o mau-exemplo? E a ética política ou a ética tout-court?  É para ficarmos aqui a pensar, com o poeta das mais belas canções de Um Homem na Cidade: que Lisboa é essa, que País é este?

Ary, Ary! Ah sim, “poeta castrado não”!

My writing has dropped off when I promised myself that I would do so regularly. So here we are then. Quite a few weeks ago I went to an ALIA event called Web 2.0: from the cradle to the future. It had 40-50 or so people, and I was also fortunate enough to run into Rhys Moult, who I’d previously met on the E-Dayz working committee. It was good sitting next to Rhys, partly because I knew him, but also because it was good to hear comments about a library profession-organised web 2.0 event from a non-librarian’s point of view.

The first speaker was Rod Martin from Era Publications. He spoke well, and his presentation (promoting a web-based children’s book application) was reasonably interesting. It’s only problem was that it had nothing to do with the topic. His main point was that having an on-line product means that digital children’s picture books are more dynamic and adaptable. Which is true. but it isn’t web 2.0. The emphasis with w2 is network creation, content creation and interactivity. This has some interactivity: a child can take the pre-generated characters to create their own stories, which they cannot share, except by printing it. There’s little in the way of sharing and collaboration that marks this as a web 2.0 tool for me.

Kate Sinclair’s Get a (2nd) Life: Virtual Worlds for Teaching and Learning was also an interesting presentation, but also got the collaborative essence.  One interesting point was that 2L can model worst practice. For example, students doing a health assessment of a fitness club might see the odd point to criticise, but because it will have had warning it will also have made sure that things are ship-shape. On the other hand, in 2L, students can look at a a problem environment (and can do so without any OHS&W concerns). It also means that there’s an engagement with the process (for example, ‘there’s been an outbreak of legionella: why?’).

Karen Ayles’s presentation on the UniSA Law Wiki was interesting because of how the wiki was used. Essentially, UniSA got a new Law School, and the wiki was to have important Q&A for queries from law students, and to track dtat for those types of inquiries. A good idea. What I found interesting was that the wiki was managed and updated bty a small team, while those people who actually handled the queries couldn’t update it themselves.

As this was being explained, Rhys was shaking his head, and he whispered to me what would become the title of this post. Using web 2.0 tools isn’t web 2.0. Web 2.0 is collaboration, networking, creating, directly. The age of the gatekeepers is fading.

Es muss schon über 15 Jahre zurück liegen, als ich mir das letzte Mal eine Kassette anhörte. Dieses Format wird zwar von der Screamo/Emo-Szene weiterhin am Leben gehalten und ist aktuell angesagter denn je… doch wenn ich die Wahl habe, greife ich wegen dem besseren Sound halt doch zum Vinyl. Anders sieht es da aus, wenn zwei Bands einen Split ausschließlich auf Tape veröffentlichen. Mio und Alia haben nicht nur einen ähnlichen Namen, sie kommen auch beide aus Leipzig. Und beide haben sie sich dem Emo verschrieben. Wobei es, bei allen Parallelen, doch einige Unterschiede gibt. Alia gehen stark in Richtung Mid90ies und dürften von Bands wie Still Life, Indian Summer oder Ordination of Aaron beeinflusst sein. Aktuell würden sie wohl ganz gut zu Who calls so loud oder Drowning with our Anchors passen. Ruhige Parts und melodisches Geklimper werden bei Alia immer wieder durch erruptive Passagen unterbrochen. Wobei letztere nie übertrieben hart sind. Viel eher steht die einerseits zwar verträumte, aber andererseits auch schwer melancholische Atmosphäre im Mittelpunkt. Die dezent eingesetzen deutschen Worte fügen sich in dieses Bild ein, bleiben aber eher im Hintergrund. Irgendwie erinnern mich die Vocals gar etwas an Captain Planet und Konsorten. Gute 20 Minuten benötigen Alia für ihre drei Stücke. Und ich finde ihre Seite richtig gelungen. Perfekte Wintermusik! Auf der Flipside haben wir Mio. Diese könnten zwar die selben Vorbilder wie ihre Split-Partner haben, doch unterscheiden sich in Feinheiten dann doch. Mio gehen nämlich etwas ungestümer und rotziger zu Werke. Die Songs sind dezent schneller, aggressiver, kompakter – was sich dann auch auf die Spielzeit der Songs niederschlägt. Wenn es auch melodische Passagen gibt, sind diese lang nicht so ausladend wie bei Alia. Qualitativ ist auf jeden Fall nicht viel Unterschied zwischen den beiden Bands, wenn mir persönlich die Alia-Seite einen Tacken besser gefällt. Geschmackssache. Zum Sound an sich: natürlich ist der minimalistisch. Man sollte für einen solchen Sound definitiv was übrig haben. Mio and Alia gelingt es auf jeden Fall perfekt “wie damals” zu klingen. Auf meinem Tape ist übrigens ein kleiner Fehler drauf: das Intro von Mio’s erstem Song ist nämlich auch am Ende der Alia-Seite raufgespielt worden. Aber das ist Nitpicking! Denn die Aufmachung ist ansonsten richtig gelungen! Das Tape kommt im bedruckten Stoffsäckchen daher, behinhaltet ein Booklet und einen Button. Die Kassette ist per Hand beschrieben. Während Lala Schallplatten für die Aufnahmen zuständig waren, kommt das Design von Built on Friendship. Die Tapes bespielt hat schließlich Johannes von Tapewriter Rec. Schlussendlich ist dieses Split-Tape ein wunderbares Stück DIY-Kultur. Wer’s kaufen will, meldet sich am Besten bei einem der drei Labels. 7/10

Që kur shumica e grupit themelues të PD-së u largua nga ajo për të krijuar Aleancën Demokratike, u bë e qartë se PD-ja do të ishte një shëmbëlltyrë e Partisë së Punës në drejtim të demokracisë së brendshme të saj. Kushdo që ishte në të, si ushtarët brenda një bunkeri, duhej të qëllonte armikun sipas urdhrave të komandantit Berisha. Ndërsa kushdo që nuk u bindej urdhrave të komandantit, shpallej tradhtar ose i shitur tek armiku. Dhe pavarësisht dështimeve elektorale të komandantit (në vitet 1994, 1997, 2000, 2001, 2003), ai mbetej në krye të ushtrisë demokrate, sepse në të mbijetonin vetëm ushtarë të bindur të tij.

E kundërta ndodhi me PS-në. Ajo, duke qenë pasardhëse e drejtpërdrejtë e Partisë së Punës, iu largua modelit punist të funksionimit të brendshëm. Kjo ndodhi ndoshta për dy arsye.
E para, sepse Fatos Nano, njeriu të cilit Ramiz Alia i la në dorë timonin e partisë, qëlloi të ishte një “dandy”, që parapëlqente më shumë jetën e natës se sa punën intensive për të mbajtur nën kontroll partinë. Ndërsa arsyeja e dytë, e ndoshta edhe më e rëndësishmja, ishte se PS-së i duhej të distancohej sa më shumë nga modeli punist. Kjo, për shkak të diskreditimit të Partisë së Punës në sytë e opinionit publik të asaj kohe. Ndërkohë, Berisha mund ta adoptonte atë model pa shumë probleme, për sa kohë luante fort kartën e antikomunizmit në arenën kombëtare dhe ndërkombëtare.

Flirtimin e parë me modelin punist të funksionimit të brendshëm PS-ja e pati në kongresin e dhjetorit 2003, në të cilin Nano e margjinalizoi krejtësisht grupin fraksionist të Ilir Metës dhe ku pothuaj nuk pati garë për kreun e PS-së. Por ajo që nisi atë dhjetor u ndërpre në korrikun e 2005-ës, kur Nano, me ose pa dashje, i humbi zgjedhjet parlamentare, ndërkohë që ishte si në krye të partisë së tij, ashtu edhe të qeverisë.

Kuptohet që Nano, në qoftë se do të kishte dëshiruar, mund të kishte mbetur në krye të PS-së, duke ia faturuar humbjen një grupi armiqësor brenda partisë – zëra se Edi Rama dhe njerëz të afërt të tij kishin punuar kundër PS-së qarkulluan pas zgjedhjeve të 2005-ës… Por ngjarjet e mëvonshme treguan se Nanon, më shumë se të qenit udhëheqësi i opozitës, e joshte posti i Presidentit të Republikës. Dhe, në fakt, ai, me ndihmën e mik-armikut Berisha, do ta kishte arritur këtë synim, në qoftë se jo Edi Rama, por dikush tjetër do të ishte zgjedhur në krye të PS-së.

Me ardhjen e Edi Ramës në krye të PS-së, modeli i partisë ushtri, i aplikuar për shumë kohë nga Berisha, u adoptua edhe në të. Por me një ndryshim shumë esencial. Ndryshe nga statuti i PD-së, statuti i PS-së parashikonte ndërprerjen e mandatit të kryetarit të partisë në rast humbjeje të zgjedhjeve parlamentare. Pra, kryetarit iu la në dorë komandë pothuaj absolute për ta çuar ushtrinë e tij drejt fitores, ndërkohë që iu ngarkua edhe një përgjegjësi e drejtpërdrejtë për humbjen.

Por ngjarjet e pas 28 qershorit po tregojnë se neni më i rëndësishëm i statutit të PS-së, ai që e bënte PS-në e Ramës aq të ndryshme nga PD-ja e Berishës, paskësh qenë pa vlerë. Sepse kryetari që nuk i siguron fitoren partisë mund të vazhdoka ta udhëheqë atë edhe pas ndërprerjes së mandatit të tij. Për këtë, i duhet thjesht një rikandidim e rivotim nga anëtarësia e partisë. Por edhe Berisha është votuar e mund të votohet deri në vdekje nga anëtarësia e PD-së, pavarësisht dështimeve apo sukseseve të tij…

Kuptohet që Rama e ka sot shumë më të lehtë seç e kishte dikur Nano të adoptojë modelin punist të funksionimit të partisë. Kjo, sepse distanca kohore prej transformimit të Partisë së Punës në Parti Socialiste është shumë e madhe, dhe sepse vetë Rama, ashtu si dikur Berisha, e filloi karrierën politike si antikomunist. Sidoqoftë, mbetet të shihet se sa PS-ja e viteve që do të vijnë do t‘i ngjasojë PD-së së viteve 1997-2005, kur aplikonte modelin punist gjatë qenies në opozitë.

He was so cute yesterday T__________T It’s such a pity that I didn’t show him a great smile or at least say “thanks a lot” to him or something like that. ;^; I regret this day till the end of my life, URGHHHH!!

But yeah, I always thought that he’s the only warmth I could cling onto when no one is on my side anymore. Turns out that it was true. Maybe he didn’t know about my situation, but things he said when I talk to him makes me extremely happy, you see. Tho I’m pretty much using him to make me smile again. >.<

But it’s not like he lose anything when I do that, right? So yeah, I’ll just find him whenever I’m sad or depressed. xD Awww… poor him >___<

Well… it’s because talking to him makes me feel serene, and looking at him makes me see clarity. I don’t know why, but knowing that I can still talk to him like usual just puts me at ease… Makes me wonder if it was a good decision to throw this moments away and just “disappear”. I was so determined at first, but he makes me hesitate. He makes me think back and turns out that I really treasured all the memories I have about everyone I know. No matter if it was bitter or sweet, it’s always here with me.

But I have to move on. I don’t want to live with regrets. If I decided to give up on something, I usually will never “touch” even a little bit of “fragments” of that certain “something”. Do you get me? Oh, never mind if you don’t. >.>

I don’t want to throw away the chance to talk to him and the moments when I could see his smile. But if I don’t leave this place, I can’t confess to him. And I don’t think that I could ever feel relieved unless I could gather my courage to confess to him. I have decided to leave this place right after confessing. Just so that I won’t need to face the awkwardness. You can call me a coward for running away. But this is the first time I’ve ever think of confessing to someone I love. He’s important to me, but that’s the more reason for me to leave him. It pains me to say this but; I don’t think he cared that much about me anyway ~____~;;

I talked to Alia on phone today. It’s been such a long time since the last time we talked to each other, since we’re both busy and all. We talked for hours; about lots of things, but mostly about PMR. I missed her so much, it’s so nostalgic whenever I talk to her ;3

She’s an important person to me; she’s like my older sister. Tho my birthday is only 2 days after hers xDD Awww… we are the February babes >:D I’ve been best friends with her ever since I was in Standard 1. It’s so sad that we didn’t get to be in the same secondary school and that she has moved far away from BSD ;_; But that won’t change anything. Sure, we lived far away from each other, but it won’t change the fact that she’s important to me =)

Yeah, she’s a smart student. and she’s a lot more matured compared to me. Despite my (very) envious personality, I’ve never been envious of her. Instead, I admire a lot of things about her. She’s just the best ♥♥♥

ALIA President Jan Richards will be heading to Townsville in October to take part in the Change & Challenge conference. Thank-you Jan for taking a moment to answer our three questions!

1. Can you please give us a taste of what you will be speaking about at the conference?
As part of the Public Libraries Forum I’ll be placing particular emphasis on the outcomes of the Public Library Summit, not surprising really when so much of my time and thoughts have been caught up in it over the past 6 months. It will be great to be able to share those thoughts with colleagues from across Australia.

2. What is inspiring, exciting or challenging you at the moment?
I’m about to travel to England to look at examples of converged Library/Museum/Archive facilities and I’ve found the research into that very exciting. I’ve been corresponding with some of my UK equivalents over several years so I’m really looking forward to finally meeting them and having some honest discussions with them. That’s what I love most about this industry we really share.

3. If you will be visiting Townsville for the first time, what are you looking forward to the most?
This is my first time in Townsville – well that’s not really true! I passed through on my way to Dunk Island many, many years ago and I’m really looking forward to being able to explore your city and no doubt assist the economy in some small way:-)!

At the conference, Jan will be participating in the “Public libraries responding to change” forum with Bernard Salt, Jan Fullerton, Director-General NLA **, Anne-Marie Schwirtlich, CEO and State Librarian, SLV and Lea Giles-Peters, State Librarian, SLQ.  Each forum members will  do a short presentation and discuss the challenges and opportunities as public libraries respond to social change. Outcomes from the recently held Public Libraries Summit will also be discussed. Opportunities for audience interaction will be provided. Mary Teague, Director, Public and Indigenous Library Services, SLQ will be moderator for this session.
