¡¡¡¡Awwwwww!!!! ¡¡¡¡¡Dioses, voy a ir a ver al Ballet de Moscú al Auditorio de León este miércoles!!!!! ¡¡¡Y hacen “El Lago de los Cisnes”!!! ¡¡¡WOOOOW, woow, woooooow!!! ¡¡¡¡<333333333!!!!
Hala, ya está. Creo que eso ha expresado con creces mi emoción. Y siento volver a actualizar con este tema, pero no he podido evitarlo.

Por otro lado, tengo una anécdota muy interesante que contar:

Ayer por la noche, a eso de las nueve, decidí ir a cenar al comedor (como cualquier otro día), pero cogí monedas para la máquina de sándwiches, por si acaso la comida del Fray era más asquerosilla de lo habitual.

Llamé a la puerta de Alicia para preguntarle si quería venir conmigo (aunque bien sé que tiene una especie de terror a las cenas del Fray… sentimiento bastante justificado, en mi opinión).
Obviamente, y como cabía esperar, me dijo que no. Pero nos quedamos hablando de cosas… de todo tipo de cosas. Llegaron las 10 y le dije que iba a coger un sándwich. Después de equivocarme de bocadillo (cogí uno de jamón y roquefort, muy puaj) y de agenciarnos sendas bolsas de gominolas (fresones y botellas de coca-cola), nos dirigimos a la 104 para continuar con la charla. Un poco más tarde llegó Jordi y fui a su habitación a ponerle el Project 64 en el ordenador, mientras Alicia volvía a la 102.

Cuando terminé con lo de Jordi, volví a llamar a Alicia…
Creo que eran alrededor de las 12 menos cuarto y yo todavía no me había comido el sándwich de la cena. Ella cogió su ordenador y lo trajo a mi habitación (se ve que tenía pensado pasar varias horas hablando conmigo). Por fin me puse a comer el asquerosito bocadillo viscoso (argh, argh, argh… recordadme que no vuelva a coger eso), mientras continuábamos hablando de canciones en francés (Jacques Brel <333), ballet (<33333), los Simpsons y cosas frikis en general. Entonces vimos que la señorita Laura Vizcay estaba conectada al MSN y le propusimos hacer una videoconferencia, para que no se quejara de que nunca participa en nuestras conversaciones nocturnas por el hecho de estar en el Reino Unido. Ella nos respondió que sí, pero que debíamos esperar 10 minutos a que terminara el capítulo de Bob Esponja (I’ve burnt my hand… At night! Lol). Después de varios intentos, por fin conseguimos establecer una comunicación decente (lógicamente, usando Skype, porque el MSN es una cagadilla que sólo funciona cuando le apetece).

Lo que pasó después es una especie de nebulosa en mi mente.
Sé que hablamos de asignaturas, de palabras, de gestos amistosos, de puños sin pulgares, de mimitos, de deberes, de idiomas, de los Erasmus, de Londres, de Norwich, de Salamanca, del las historias del Fray, de la ticketera, de Hello Kitty, de videoblogs, de Phineas y Ferb, de Bob Esponja, de quedar en vacaciones y de un millón de cosas más. Nos reímos muchísimo y nos metimos un poco las unas con las otras. Vimos puntos resplandecientes que parecían un mundo paralelo detrás de una estantería. También observamos a Laura mientras se comía galletitas de limón a las tantas de la mañana y se quejaba de tener un hambre voraz. Descubrimos las monas mini botellitas de leche de los ingleses. Nos burlamos de los pijamas mal conjuntados. Hablamos sobre Rusia, un taxi, dos conos y una Planeta. Mencionamos los problemas del novato de al lado con su garganta y mucho más…

Y todo eso hasta las 5:30 de la mañana (bueno, para Laura eran las 4:30 y fue ella la que dijo que se quería ir a dormir [aguafiestas…]). Y la verdad es que a partir de las 4 ya se empiezan a decir muchas tonterías, como: “¿Cómo se dice cuando estás…? […] ¡Ah, sí… espesa!”, o “¿Crees que te has perdido un comentario divertido? Pues sí, te lo has perdido”.
Así que Ali y yo nos acostamos a las 6 de la mañana, cuando ya se podían ver unos débiles rayos de sol mirando hacia la catedral.

Y por lo tanto hoy estoy que no estoy. Estoy… espesa, como ya dije ayer por la noche. Y tengo que enfrentarme a una pila de deberes con la que no puedo un día como hoy.

Pero vamos, lo de ayer fue tan archigenial que lo repetiría esta misma noche si no estuviera tan cansada. Sin duda, un día de estos volveremos a hacerlo. Y ese día lo grabaremos para que aparezca en las “Fray stories”.

Last night,Dick Clark and ABC television hosted the annual American Music Awards, where all kind of crazy and cool happenings went on,and Lady Gaga and Adam Lambert still stood out.

I like it how every year some new act feels the need to shock and push the limits of the public morals to the breaking point, and this year the winner for that category is Adam Lambert.

Adam,the runner-up for last seasons American Idol competition,decided to out do Katy Perry who kissed a girl, or at least had a hit record about it, by kissing a guy on stage.

And, as if that was not enough to get his point across, he then grabbed a male dancer, and had him kiss,…or do something like that, to his crotch. Many guys have done this on stage before,except with women.

I think the best one was that awards show on Spike TV hosted by Jamie Foxx,when he grabbed Halle Berry’s nice behind and laid a good kiss on her…remember that.

…Oh yeah…as usual,like clockwork…Lady Gaga got down!…she is the most interesting performer out there currently, and whenever she performs…I simply can not take my eyes off of her,because of her performances.

She has way more concept than the rest of her fellow performers,and I can tell she is having a big influence on others stage shows. Good going Gaga….

This weekend I was given the privilege of going to Gainesville, FL, the home of the University of Florida Gators, with my two great friends Alicia and Nicole. It was a pretty intense road trip. We left around 3pm (after getting Alicia’s flat tire patched) and got to Gainesville around 11:30. We made INCREDIBLE time and we weren’t even speeding that much. We got to where we were staying, put our stuff up, got ready and went out to a club called “X’s”. They played a lot of 80’s/90’s music which was fairly good except about 1/3 of it you couldn’t actually dance to. We were there til last call at 1:30am. The next morning we got up at 9:30 and headed out around 10. We had to make a couple stops but along the way they showed me around campus. Its a really nice campus. I think I would have liked going there. It pulls enough green with a city feel that it would keep me entertained. Also, the night life is much better than UNC. They have a really nice Union and dining area with a lot more good restaurants. We ate at Subway, bought shirts (yes, even I bought a shirt but I will not be wearing it in Texas or on the day of a Texas game) and then headed to the game. Florida stadium is pretty awesome. Its really pretty and quite large. They were playing FIU and of course the game was a slaughter but still fun to watch. We left immediately after the game. We got back around 2:30am on Sunday. The time spent in Gainesville was less than 24 hrs but it felt like more which is a good thing. I want to do trips like that more often.

L’opinione: Dopo la scomparsa prematura di Manuel Vázquez Montalbán, Alicia Giménez-Bartlett si colloca come la giallista spagnola più famosa, prolifica e interessante. Esponente, ovvero, di quella narrativa noir, poliziesca, o gialla che dir si voglia, di respiro moderno e profondo che affonda, paradossalmente, le proprie radici in un tardo passato: nei nomi, ovvero, di
Gadda e Simenon. La narrativa poliziesca della Bartlett offre non solo trame avvincenti, ma poesia, riflessioni intime e sociali, risvolti psicologici e caratteriali assai profondi, arguta e graffiante ironia in un sempre interessante spaccato della società e delle relazioni umane del giorno d’oggi.

«Il silenzio dei chiostri» si pone come una prova letteraria davvero assai felice. Un romanzo che, pur nella sua notevole corposità, si divora tutto di un fiato grazie alla vicenda notevolmente avvincente. Una trama gialla interessantissima, che inchioda il lettore alle pagine, che invita a finire la lettura e che, tra tanti colpi di scena, solo nelle ultime pagine trova l’inaspettata e difficilmente prevedibile soluzione. Molto ben confezionata. A tutto ciò fa da contorno tanta ironia, personaggi e vicende dagli interessanti risvolti storici, culturali e psicologici, situazioni che portano a intime riflessioni. Oj oj idag har jag varit så trött för lilla gumman var ju uppe och grinade natten som var. Vet inte vad det var men ledsen var hon. I över 2 timmar var hon vaken innan jag fick henne att somna om sedan så sov hon jätteoroligt resten av natten. Idag på skolan så har hon haft svårt att hitta lugnet .

Tycker synd om lillan för nåt är det som är fel. Nu på kvällen vaknar hon också och grinar . Vad gör man ???

I thought that the nearest MRT station to Marina Square was Marina Bay!
But no it was City Hall –.-
So when I got out of the station, I got a huge shock so I called Alicia for directions.
R: Oh no, where am I?
A: Hahah, what shops do you see?
R: There are no shops! I’m at a roadside! (Construction works for IR)
A: Huh?!
Omg that was so noob HAHAH.
But believe it or not, I never took MRT to these places before.
So cannot blame me!

Let me start by saying that I fully support this cause. Actually, I don’t even think it makes sense to support or not this cause as its stupid to discriminate between men and women for almost anything.

The moon race took place in the ‘60 and thanks to many and many people things have changed significantly since then. I want to believe that such an absurd act of discrimination would not take place today, even though I’m sure that the percentages would still favor men… but time and persistency will make things right.

Before anyone complains, I say almost anything because there are things like medical studies, statistics, or even sex where it’s necessary to discriminate or differentiate!

What am I talking about? Right, I forgot to say… here’s the link

So if I’m all for it, what am I complaining about? Am I always complaining on this blog? Should I rename it to something like “I disagree”, “This is Stupid” or something like that? I hope not… I’ll find something nice to post one of these days

Anyway, my point is… does anybody think it will make any difference whatsoever in any decision maker? Wait… I just read her blog (the one I posted a link to) and it has nothing to do with the 2 news pieces I just read about this…

Hmm… interesting… this happens a few too often. I started this post because I read on a newspaper (in Spanish) that she was revindicating that women were not part of the moon programs back in the ‘60 and she wanted to “pressure” so that they took part in NASA’s new plans of sending people back to the moon. Now I read on her blog that it’s just a story about a woman who, like all women that were never part of the moon race, stayed on earth and she bases her stories around this character.

We could argue again that maybe some people have too much spare, wasted or useless time on their hands or be a little more honest and admit we’re just amazed that someone can make a living by doing that (I wouldn’t mind making a living by “expressing” some of my crazy “artistic ideas”) but the point is that it’s a show, it’s different and I have nothing bad to say about it or against it :)

Alicia: Why are there so many deer here? Shouldn’t they go somewhere? Like south for the winter? Do deer go south for the winter?
