Recently, my musical palate has been turned onto a group known as Thievery Corporation. The core members of this duo include DJs Rob Garza and Eric Hilton. Together, and with the help of other musically talented artists from all backgrounds, Thievery Corporation has broken down the barriers of a one-themed genre. Their influences vary from dub, to acid rock, to jazz, to jam-band, rap, reggae and many more! It is a must that you take a listen to this group. Taking a political stance in most issues, Thievery Corp is very anti-war and pro peace and can be referred to by many as the key “modern-day Hippies” in today’s social structure. I hope you enjoy this group as much as I have been lately!
