Die 2005 eingeweihte Allianz Arena und ihre Finanzierung ist die vielleicht größte Herausforderung für Uli Hoeneß gewesen. Seine gesamten Erfolge als Spieler und Manager für Bayern München aufzählen, hieße Eulen nach Athen tragen. Er ist in den letzten Tagen von den Zeitungen und Magazinen der Republik mit Lorbeeren und Rückblicken auf sein Lebenswerk bedacht worden. Auch seine größten Kritiker nehmen innerlich Haltung an.

Ich habe Uli Hoeneß das erste mal als 10-jähriger Junge 1973 live im Europapokal der Landesmeister gegen Dynamo Dresden spielen sehen. 1976 habe ich mir beim verschossenen Elfmeter von Belgrad im EM Finale die Haare gerauft. Er war und ist für mich der beste Fußballmanager über Jahrzehnte gewesen. Seine Leidenschaft und sein Feuer waren immer stark. Natürlich musste er auch einiges austeilen. Einstecken auch.

Uli Hoeneß hat Bayern München geprägt. Den Verein groß gemacht. Nicht alleine. Das geht auch gar nicht. Doch er war über 30 Jahre lang Lokomotive. Er hat auch stets im Erfolgsfall an die Spieler gedacht die sich mit Verletzungen rumgeschlagen haben, denen es zwischenzeitlich dreckig ging und persönliche Lebenskrisen hatten. Er hat dort immer ein sehr großes Herz gehabt. Mir fallen da spontan seine Unterstützung für Gerd Müller am Krankenbett ein. Seine Hilfe für Alexander Zickler, die Anerkennung für Jens Jeremies seinen körperlichen und gesundheitlichen Einsatz in der Champions-League Saison 2000/20001, die Bemühungen um Sebastian Deisler oder das einstige auffangen von Mehmet Scholl in einer schwierigen Lebensphase. Uli Hoeneß hat immer alles gegeben.

Im Exklusiv-Interview auf eurosport.yahoo gab sein langjähriger Weggefährte Paul Breitner Antwort auf die Frage, ob Uli Hoeneß – von seinem Lebenswerk FC Bayern loslassen kann-, folgende Antwort:

,,Wenn Uli nicht loslassen könnte, hätte er nicht vor längerer Zeit schon Rückzugsgedanken gehabt, diese mit Franz Beckenbauer und einigen anderen Leuten besprochen und das zu seiner ganz klaren Linie gemacht. Uli war immer einer, der ganz klare Vorstellungen hatte, was, wann, wie passieren sollte – wenn es irgendwie machbar ist. Das ist ein deutliches Zeichen dafür, dass er gewisse Dinge jetzt geregelt haben will. Er sagt eben nicht wie so mancher Aktive: Ich trete als Manager dann zurück, wenn ich irgendetwas gewonnen habe. Davon ist er Gott sei Dank weit entfernt.”

Uli Hoeneß ist immer seinem Lebensmotto treu geblieben. Leben und leben lassen. Seine Eigenschaften gibt er mit geradlinig, zuverlässig und sozial an. In der Sonderedition 30 Jahre Leidenschaft heißt es treffend:

,,Uli Hoeneß hat auf seinem Weg nach oben die meisten hinter sich gelassen, weggeschaut hat er nie.”

Der ehemalige Manager ist jetzt der neue Präsident von Bayern München.

Why do I always type a little blurb here? It never really says anything; I just feel weird diving straight into the match results themselves without any preamble. It’s too… impersonal that way. So hello, hi, here we are, so let’s get down to it:

Calcio:

AS Roma Totti 3-1 Bari – Romanisti always repeat one thing when Er Pupone is sidelined: No Totti, no Party. But sometimes we get so caught up in our own negativity that we forget the flip-side of that equation: Totti = party. Er Capitano made his return today against Bari, back from over a month out after going into knee surgery earlier in the season. And just to remind us why we miss him when he’s gone, he scored a hattrick. In the first half hour. The first came on 7′ – a spot kick after Jean-François Gillet downed Mirko Vucinic in the area. Then, only 7 minutes later, Totti launched a searing free-kick into the back of the net to make it 2-0. On 28′, he scored a world-class – and seemingly impossible – goal, beating Bari’s defense, Gillet and firing an acute-angle shot into the far corner. Beauty. Roma did their usual thing in the second half, sitting comfortably back on their large lead and letting i Galletti tire themselves out. However, the visitors finally pulled one back when youngster Marco Andreolli nodded the ball into his own net on 73′. A bit of a blemish, but a pretty good party nonetheless. To Gillet’s credit, he was outstanding for most of the match (those stretches when Totti was not destroying his self esteem), as was Julio Sergio, who was very solid behind the Roman back four. Mirko Vucinic was phenomenal, back to his old self again, while the only real black spot for Roma was Nicolas Burdisso, who was an absolute horrorshow at right-back. Also, the own goal was unfortunate. But all in all, a very good party with Er Capitano back at the helm. I can’t wait until we get Danielino back – then we can really party.

Inter 3-1  Bologna – The Inter Offside webpage referred to this match as a ‘Mortadella Speedbump’ — that pretty much sums it up for me. The reigning champions probably felt as if they could simply stroll into the Stadio Dall’Ara and come back out with three easy points, and their hosts failed to prove them wrong. There was a bit of tension early in the match; Diego Milito put Inter ahead on 22′ off of a corner from Maicon, only for Marcelo Zalayeta to equalize within 60 seconds, smashing the ball past Julio Cesar and into the top corner. The next 20 minutes saw both teams get really into the game, but Mario Balotelli should have put his side ahead when he beat the Bologna backline and dummied ‘keeper Emiliano Viviano – only to waste enough time that Viviano was able to get up and rob him of his much belated shot. One could see Jose Mourinho rise from his bench, flailing in anger. However, Supermario was able to atone for his sins just before the half; another Maicon corner saw the young striker rise powerfully in the air and head home to make it 2-1 for the Nerazzurri. He picked up a knock in the process, however, and was subbed off for Samuel Eto’o, who made a rare start on the bench. The visitors would make their lead more comfortable midway through the second half, with Esteban Cambiasso, who was in excellent form, burying a left-foot strike on 72′. To be honest, the hosts never looked like they were going to get back into the game, and Inter cruised to a comfortable win over the Emiliani.

AC Milan 4-3 Cagliari – It was a bit of a rollercoaster ride in the San Siro this afternoon, but i Rossoneri came out on top. Clarence Seedorf gave the home side an early lead on 5′, but gli Isolani weren’t interested in falling behind and Alessandro Matri equalized just 3 minutes later. The visitors would take the lead on 30′ when Andrea Lazzari found himself completely unmarked at Milan’s back post and gave his side a 2-1 lead. This time though, it was Milan’s turn to come from behind, as Marco Borriello and Alexandre Pato bagged a pair of goals in quick succession to put their side up 3-2 by the 39th minute. Pato’s goal was particularly nice, a rocket-powered blast into the top shelf which sent the San Siro crowd into an uproar. Milan would further consolidate their lead after the break, with Ronaldinho stepping up to the spot after Borriello had been felled in the area and burying it, sending Federico Marchetti the wrong way. He seems to score all of his goals that way, doesn’t he? More on him later. Cagliari was able to reduce Milan’s lead to a single goal when Nenê beat Dida on 68′, but Milan would hold onto their rather precarious lead and edge their visitors 4-3 in what turned out to be an exciting goalfest. Now, Ronaldinho. He was quite possibly – I’d almost say easily – the man of the match; back to his Barcelona form and full of tricks and flicks. That he only got onto the scoresheet via PK is misleading, as he was the creative force behind Milan’s devastating offense all night. That being said, their defending was quite shoddy, and against a better team (no offense, Cagliari, I like you guys) they might have come away with a rather different result. That being said, an excellent high-scoring match to put il Diavolo into 3rd place. Who says Serie A is boring?

Juventus 1-0 Udinese – Oh that’s right, Juventini say Serie A is boring. Because Juve is boring. I Bianconeri edged, well, i Bianconeri in Turin to keep their Scudetto hopes alive tonight. After the kickoff, it was all Juventus; Diego and Mauro Camoranesi both came close in the first quarter of an hour. After that though, the game went into a bit of a lull, and neither side looked dangerous (or did anything important) before the halftime break – unless you count a Udinese goal rightly disallowed for offside. After the restart, it was once again Juventus who set the pace, and this time it paid off. Summer signing Martin Cácares set up summer signing Fabio Grosso, who beat Samir Handanovic with ease to put the home side up 1-0 on 51′. Udinese fought hard throughout the remainder of the half, and both Handanovic and Gigi Buffon were called upon to make class saves, but ultimately the most exciting thing to happen before the fulltime whistle was Alessandro Del Piero’s appearance as a substitute. Juventino or not, you gotta love that guy.

Football:

A hattrick? No, that was just a warm-up.

Tottenham Hotspur 9-1 Wigan Athletic – Stop the press! What in God’s name do they put in the water in Tottenham? The Spurs recorded the second-biggest Premiership blowout in history at White Hart Lane over a hapless Wigan Athletic, with Jermain Defoe grabbing 5 himself in the second half. Peter Crouch opened the scoring for the home side on 9′, and believe it or not, that was it for the first half. Defoe got started right away after the break though, netting on 51′ and 54′, before Paul Scharner (who may have also pulled a Thierry Henry) pulled one back for the Latics to make it 3-1 on 57′. Defoe wasn’t done yet though, and to complete his hattrick restored the Spurs 3-goal margin just seconds later. Aaron Lennon got in on the action with a goal of his own on 64′, and then Jermain Defoe topped off his hattrick with a brace on 69′ and 87′. Chris Kirkland put the ball into his own net on 88′ to make it 8-1, and then Niko Kranjcar scored in the 4th minute of stoppage time to make the scoreline a whopping 9-1. To put this into perspective, didn’t table-toppers Chelsea lose to Wigan this season? Holy shit, dude.

Chelsea 4-0 Wolverhampton – Speaking of Chelsea, Carlo Ancelotti’s men took part in a rout of their own this weekend, though it seems rather paltry in comparison with their London neighbours’ rather excessive beatdown. The Wolves simply had no chance at Stamford Bridge, and with Florent Malouda opening the scoring with a 25-yard strike on 5′, it seemed a cricket score was imminent. Michael Essien furthered that notion, bagging a brace within a 10 minute span by finding the back of the Wolves’ net on 12′ and 22′. The visitors simply had no response to the dominant Chelsea play, and their ill-advised 2-5-3 formation left plenty of gaps for the Blues to exploit. The teams went into the half with the score 3-0, but not before Sylvain Ebanks-Blake forced a class save from Petr Cech. As the game progressed, Wolverhampton reverted to a more solid 4-4-2, it was not enough to stop Joe Cole from scoring his first Premiership goal in over a year, making the score 4-0. Another quite impressive blowout/shutout from Ancelotti’s men, but until they score 9 goals I think they’ll feel that their crosstown rivals have the upper hand. Then again, they’re leading the league, so who cares about the Spurs?

Liverpool 2-2- Manchester City – Every time a Koppite cries, and angel get its wings. Or so I’ve been led to believe. Either way, both the Reds and the Blues (no, no, other Reds. Other Blues too.) dropped points and further away from the top 4 with a 4-goal draw at Anfield on Saturday. Martin Skrtel gave the home side the lead on 50′, only for Emmanuel Adebayor and Stephen Ireland to respond on 69′ and 76′ respectively to give the Citizens a 2-1 lead. A loss at this stage in the competition would have meant disaster for the Scousers, but luckily Yossi Benayoun cut any Mancunian celebrations short by responding with a goal of his own on 77′ to equalize and make it 2-2. And 2-2 the score would remain. This result is neither a complete disaster for Mark Hughes or Rafa Benitez, but you gotta think that the two of them, and their grossly underperforming squads, have gotta be feeling a little uncomfortable right now.

Manchester Utd 3-0 Everton – As for the other Reds and Blues of Manchester and Liverpool, a draw was not in the cards. The Red Devils trounced the Toffeemakers at Old Trafford to stay within five points of Chelsea in the table. Darren Fletcher opened the scoring for the homeside on 35′ with a beautiful goal that has been compared (somewhat hyperbolically) to the work of Zinedine Zidane. After the half Michael Carrick and Luis Antonio Valencia would add a goal each, while David Moyes’ men could do little but keep the scoreline respectable. I gotta say, the Merseyside derby is going to be downright depressing this year…

Sunderland 1-0 Arsenal – Oh, Arsenal. The Gooners had gone over a dozen games without a loss, but as usual Arsene Wenger’s men got a little too close to the sun and their wings simply burned up. Also, they had a lot of injuries. The Londoners put in an unfocused and ramshackle performance against a determined Sunderland side who clearly wanted the result more. And they got it. Sunderland simply rode out wave after wave of potent Arsenal attacking play, though admittedly, it didn’t seem like the Gunners wanted to do much other than controlling the ball in midfield. On 71′, the home side finally got their chance and Darren Bent buried it to make the score 1-0 for the Black Cats. Wenger’s men had simply no will to get back into the game (perhaps their minds were occupied with thoughts of next week’s clash against Chelsea) and ultimately fell to a steely Sunderland side. This is the second time this year that the Black Cats have beaten a top 4 side – and this time it can’t even be blamed on a beach ball.

Futbol:

Real Madrid 1-0 Racing Santander – Well, Los Galacticos are still without their biggest star – Cristiano Ronaldo – and they’re still not playing as ‘Galacticos’ perhaps should, but they’re finally where Galacticos should be: on top. Gonzalo Higuaín provided the difference that Manuel Pellegrini’s men needed to take down mid-table residents Racing Santander, with a strike from close range on 22′. Both sides had second-half goals disallowed for offsides, with both Karim Benzema and Sergio Canales putting the ball into the back of the net only to be notified by the referee that they need not celebrate. As has been the norm this year, Madrid did not completely convince, but their narrow victory was nevertheless enough to see them go top of the table for the first time this season after Barcelona picked up a similarly unconvincing result in Bilbao.

Because Bear Country is more frightening than Basque Country.

Barcelona 1-1 Athletic Bilbao – Treble Champions they may be, but at times this season Barcelona have failed to look the part. They faltered again in their title race during this weekend’s trip to Basque Country. Though many of their starting 11, including Zlatan Ibrahimovic, were out with knocks, one could still expect Barcelona to produce a result against midtable opponents such as Bilbao. Early in the match, Los Leones put pressure on their visitors, peppering them with corners and free kicks, while Barca looked simply content to play on the counter. Soon however, Barca wrested control of possession from their hosts, and began to look like the side to score, though when it came to finishing they came up empty – at least in the first half. However, after the restart the Blaugrana got off on the right foot, with Daniel Alves running on to the end of a perfect throughball from Xavi and finding the back of Bilbao’s net. Athletic immediately responded by bringing Toquero into the game; a move that would prove very effective as the substitute would equalize for the home side within 10 minutes of coming onto the pitch, running onto a long ball and smashing it home. All that was left to do for Bilbao was to park the bus and ride out the waves of Barcelona attacks – which they did – in order to gain a point and drop the reigning champions down to second place. What has happened to Pep Guardiola’s men?

Fußball:

Bayern München 1-1 Bayer Leverkusen – Well, Die Roten haven’t sunk any further into their slump, but they haven’t de-slumped either, achieving a draw against league-leading Bayer Leverkusen at the Allianz-Arena this weekend. Mario Gomez and Stephan Kießling each netted for their respective sides early on in the match; both goals came within the first 15 minutes of play. Bayern started off energetically, with their aggressive attack leading to Mario Gomez’s opener on 8′, which he sidefooted in on an advantage play after Miroslav Klose was fouled. However, their visitors soon caught up to them in pace and were able to exploit the home side’s defensive weaknesses; Kießling easily beat the offside trap and slotted the ball coolly past Hans-Jörg Butt to make it all square on 14′. Each team had spells of pacy and bright looking attack, but neither could capitalize during those stretches; Leverkusen keeper Rene Adler saved his side time and time again with world class saves to prevent Bayern from getting out in front. Even Thomas Müller, who has so often been Bayern’s ace-in-the-hole this season proved ineffectual, and was subbed in the second half for Ivica Olic, returning from a lengthy injury layoff. The chances petered out towards the end of the game, and a 1-1 draw it would remain – a result that sees Bayer reclaim 1st and Bayern languish in 7th.

Werder Bremen 6-0 SC Freiburg – Poor Freiburg. On more than a few occasions this season they have found themselvesin situations where they are simply out of their depth. The home side suffered a humbling defeat to Die Grün-Weißen in their own Badenova-Stadion, falling 6-0 in an all-out slaughter. Hugo Almeida opened the scoring for the visitors on 33′, Marko Marin added a second on 55′, Almeida doubled his money on 57′, Mesut Özil netted on 67′, Naldo on 73′ and substitute Markus Rosenberg made it 6-0 with 8 minutes left to play. Freiburg once again made a case for having the worst defense in the Bundesliga (they have the highest number of goals against; 30) and sit 13th in the league table, while this victory propels Werder Bremen to second, just a point behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen. I guess the English aren’t the only ones who know how to have a good blowout!

Hamit Altintop im tz-Interview

Vom feinsten, Hamit! So möchte man doch seine Spieler hören. Mit Stolz auf den Verein, mannschaftsdienlich und zielorientiert. Welch ein wohltuendes Interview nach all dem Terz der letzten Wochen. Dass er ganz schön schleimt um wieder in die Mannschaft zu kommen, sehe ich ihm deswegen dabei freimütig nach.

Unterdessen hat Jogi Löw Philipp Lahm auserwählt, die Deutsche Nationalmannschaft beim morgigen Test gegen die Elfenbeinküste als Kapitän auf´s Feld zu führen. Ich kann mir nicht helfen, irgendwie schmeckt das Ganze wieder nach einem kleinen Wink mit dem Zaunpfahl in Richtung München. Vielleicht bin ich zu feinfühlig, aber die ein oder andere Spitze lese ich aus den Aussagen aller Beteiligten durchaus raus. Auch bei Philipp. Zwischen den Zeilen klingt das gar nicht so gut für mich. Aber ich will auch nicht zu viel hineininterpretieren. Dass er nicht begeistert ist nach den Tumulten der letzten Tage um ihn und den Vorstand ist ja nicht sonderlich verwunderlich. Ich hoffe nur, das Verhältnis ist nicht nachhaltig gestört.

Wer ist gemeint und wer sagt das?

Richtig! Karl-Heinz Rummenigge über die Telekom. Der Sponsoring-Vertrag wurde bis 2013 verlängert. Um es auf den Punkt zu bringen: Wir kriegen genauso viel Geld wie bisher, dürfen aber viel mehr leisten. Das erstaunt auf den ersten Blick, man wähnt ja den FC Bayern immer in der besten Ausgangslage für solche Gespräche. In Zeiten der Wirtschaftskrise aber vielleicht auch irgendwie normal. Diese ganzen exklusiven Inhalte, welche Liga Total da mit uns plant und umgekehrt klingen allerdings irgendwie sehr nach Bravo TV. Ich hoffe das werden Sendungen, die sich hauptsächlich mit Fußball befassen und keine Propaganda-Shows, in denen den Spielern noch mehr Popstars-Images verliehen werden.

Zum Schluss noch ein putziges Video mit Uli Hoeneß, in dem er stolz wie Oskar durch sein “Wohnzimmer” Allianz Arena führt. Ganz so glücklich sind natürlich nicht alle wie dort verzählt. Aber gut, dass er stolz ist kann man auch irgendwie nachvollziehen. Auch wenn er jetzt etwas verklärt wirkt wie in letzter Zeit öfter, irgendwann wird mal sein Denkmal vor diesem Stadion stehen, da bin ich mir auch sicher. Und das dann sicherlich insgesamt zurecht.

So Scheiße kann Fußball sein! Endstand 1:1! Der FC Bayern ist 8. Platz.

The Champions League fixtures which were so exciting a fortnight ago were mostly dreary affairs this week, as each team played the same team as they had previously, except this time in the others’ house. We ended up with 3 draws and a couple of blowouts, assuring me that being without internet/cable access for the majority of the evening was not a total tragedy. I’ll write up most of them, except the really useless ones (I’m looking at you, APOEL v Porto). Here they are, in no particular order:

Look how happy he was to be back in Milan!

AC Milan 1-1 Real Madrid – Well, the fixture that was so explosive last week ended without the same sort of fireworks this time around. Instead of ludicrous goalkeeping errors and 40-yard screamers, tonight’s match was graced by a pair of (comparatively) cheaply-had goals and one goal which was bafflingly disallowed. Kaká’s build-up to Real Madrid’s 29th minute goal showed a flash of the genius he used to have at the San Siro (and has failed to produce thus far for Madrid), but Dida made the initial save and it was up to Karim Benzema to tap the rebound past the bumbling Brazilian. It didn’t take long what had been a rather flaccid Milan side up to that point to galvanize (and equalize), when Gianluca Zambrotta was struck by the elbow of a sliding Pepe in the area and awarded a penalty. On 35′, Ronaldinho gleefully buried from the spot. Alexandre Pato almost gave i Rossoneri the lead moments later, with his volley finding the back of the net, but the goal was ultimately disallowed because the youngster had committed a foul in scoring it (maybe the foul was scoring it?). In the end, it would finish all level at the San Siro, and all level in Group C; Milan and Madrid sit tied with 7 points just above Marseilles.

Marseille 6-1 FC Zurich – Normally I wouldn’t give half a shit about this game. Swiss teams, French teams, it’s all Greek to me. However, the epic nature of the scoreline forces me to give at least a bit of a shout-out to l’OM, for whom 6 different individuals made an appearance on the scoresheet (well, 5 Marseille players and 1 Zurich via OG). In fact, it was Silvan Aegerter’s own goal that opened the floodgates for the visitors on 3′ – Fabrice Abriel would make it 2-0 on 11′, but Alexandre Alphonse pulled one back for his side on the half-hour mark. After the half, Mamadou Niang, Hilton, Benoît Cheyrou and Brandao would all net for Les Phocéens, while the home side would be left less than satisfied with their solitary goal. Quite a blowout!

Bordeaux 2-0 Bayern München – Les Girondins are progressing to the knock-out stages. As for Bayern, well, we’ll have to see. In the first 30 or so minutes of tonight’s match at the Allianz-Arena, it seemed like it would be the home side who would take the lead. Bastian Schweinsteiger proved a great danger as a dead ball specialist, causing the visiting defense all sorts of problems and coming close to causing a goal more than once. Bayern also might have gone ahead from the spot -players appealed for a penalty on a perceived Michael Ciani handball in the area, but the referee saw nothing; what die Roten wanted to be a spot kick would instead be a corner. Ultimately, it would be the French side who would get ahead on 37′ thanks to star man Yoann Gourcuff, who headed home after shaking off Mark van Bommel. After the break, Luca Toni had about 80,000 chances (duffed ‘em all) and Arjen Robben came on to greatly improve Bayern’s play, but the German side simply could not find the back of the net. Late in the game, Bayern fans began to depart from the stadium en masse, and those who did stay until the end were treated to the sight of Marouane Chamakh skipping past Hans-Jörg Butt to ease the ball into an empty net. Back-to-back losses to the French side for Bayern see them fall to 3rd in Group A – I knew this was the Year of the Underdog, but did it have to be the Year of the French by extension?

Juventus 1-0 Maccabi Haifa – Juventus continue to stay true to their recent Champions League mantra – do as little as you have to and scrape by. I’m sure Ciro Ferrara’s side is still reeling at the manner in which they let Sunday’s fixture against Napoli slip away, but they once again managed to beat the Israeli side (this time in Haifa) by a margin of 1-0. Mauro Camoranesi’s magic touch in first-half stoppage time was enough for i Bianconeri to slip past their hosts, who are now officially out of the competition with a grand total of 0 points. Juventus spent much of the second half patiently building up attacks and then listlessly watching them break down, as though they were simply happy to kill the time. And they were. Another half-assed performance, another victory for Juve. Go figure.

Agüero-Drogba strike force?

Chelsea 2-2 Atletico Madrid – Over the past two weeks, Chelsea’s goal differential was +19. That’s 19 for and 0 against, in all competitions. That included a 4-0 drubbing of Atletico Madrid at Stamford Bridge which prompted me to wonder how Abel Resino was hanging on to his job. Two weeks later, Resino is out of a job, and Chelsea have finally been scored upon. One could make a case to have this match renamed Sergio Agüero 2-2 Didier Drogba, as each prolific striker bagged a brace for his side to account for all 4 goals of the match (this time split evenly between the teams). Los Colchoneros took a second-half lead on 66′ when Agüero, just recently subbed onto the pitch, met the end of a cross with a sharp volley that left Petr Cech helpless on his line. Didier Drogba would take his time, but eventually single-handedly turned the match around for the Blues with a pair of goals on 82′ and 88′ – the latter being a supreme individual effort in which the Ivorian beat several defenders and buried his own rebound. However, Agüero was not about to be outdone, and on 90′ launched a strike from 30 yards which leveled the match for his side. New Atleti manager Quique Sánchez Flores will no doubt be disappointed that his team gave up the lead, but thrilled that they salvaged the draw – nevertheless Atletico are now officially out of the competition, while Chelsea are officially moving on.

Manchester Utd 3-3 CSKA Moskow – Sir Alex Ferguson’s men sealed their passage into the knock out rounds as Luis Antonio Valencia once more played the last-ditch heroics card. CSKA took the lead on 25′ through Alan Dzagoev, but Michael Owen equalized just 4 minutes later. Nevertheless, CSKA were undaunted, and within the next 20 minutes of play took a commanding 3-1 lead through Milos Krasic (31′) and Vasiliy Berezutskiy (47′). Darren Fletcher was booked on a strange call, after he looked to be set loose on goal and was then taken down in the box. Instead of a spot kick, the Scotsman received a yellow card. Paul Scholes and the aforementioned Valencia would bring it equal for United with Scholes’ goal on 82′ and Valencia’s in stoppage time. Moscow player Deyvidas Semberas was sent off after a bit of a spat late into injury time, but the Muscovites were nevertheless able to hold United to a 3-3 draw. Not a bad result from the Russian side, though it won’t help their Champions League aspirations this year.

VfL Wolfsburg 3-0 Besitkas – Luckily for Deutschland, one German squad was able to easily overcome their opposition this evening. Wolves took over Istanbul as Armin Veh’s side ran rampart at Inönü, with Zvjezdan Misimovic, Christian Gentner and Edin Dzeko finding the back of the net for their side. It seems that the key to obtaining an ‘always difficult’ away win in Turkey is to strike hard, and to strike often – take notes, Fergie.

Über die geplante Beteiligung von Audi am FC Bayern hab ich ja schon des öfteren berichtet [> siehe hier]. Am Sonntag hat sich nun Uli Hoeneß in der Sendung “Sky 90″ des gleichnamigen Pay-TV-Anbieters ausführlich zu diesem Thema geäußert. Und auch in Sachen Neuzugänge und Abgänge gibt es neues und außerdem gibt es mal wieder Stress mit dem blauen Pack um die Allianz Arena. Aber der Reihe nach:

Mega-Deal mit Audi vor Abschluss

Der geplante Deal mit Audi geht wohl weit über eine Beteiligung an der FC Bayern AG hinaus wie Uli Hoeneß gegenüber “Sky” erklärte. Hoeneß: “Grundsätzlich ist das ein ganz anderer Deal: Das ist eine Beteiligung und ein langfristiger Vertrag, wir reden da über ganz andere Beträge. Das ist ein Betrag, der weit über 100 Millionen sein wird. Das ein Paket: Ein Werbevertrag und eine Beteiligung. Also, wenn Schalke schon 25 bekommt, müssen wir ja schon in die 100 Millionen gehen.” (Anm. Schalke hat kürzlich für den Verkauf von Arena-Anteile 25 Mio Euro von einem Energiedienstleister erhalten)

Der Autobauer wird für rund 90 Mio Euro gut 9 Prozent an der FC Bayern AG erwerben. Hinzu kommt einWerbevertrag über die Laufzeit von 10 Jahren.  Das ganze Paket soll dem Vernehmen nach bis zu 200 Mio Euro in die Vereinskasse spülen!!!

Noch vor der Jahresversammlung am 27. November soll der Deal mit Audi offiziell bekannt gegeben werden. Das viele Geld wird wohl komplett in die Finanzierung der Allianz Arena fließen.

Und das ist noch nicht genug – es gibt noch einen weiteren Geldsegen. Die Telekom wird wohl ihren Vertrag bis 2013 verlängern und dann 25 Mio Euro (bisher 20 Mio) pro Saison zahlen. Die Bonner lösten Opel 2002 als Haupt- und Trikotsponsor ab. In drei Jahren spült der neue Deal so 75 Mio Euro in die Kasse des FCB.

Catering-Kosten: FC Bayern verklagt die blauen Penner

Der FC Bayern und der TSV 1860 sehen sich bald vor Gericht wieder, anfang Dezember soll der Fall verhandelt werden. Doch um was geht es genau?

Es geht um ausstehende Zahlungen beim Stadion-Catering. Groß darauf eingehen möchte ich eigentlich nicht. Alles was man darüber wissen muss kann man auf  spox.com oder tz-online.de nachlesen.

Ich finds eigentlich ziemlich erbärmlich was der abgeht. Wir haben den blauen Idioten schon mehrmals den Arsch gerettet. Von ihrer Seite könnte ruhig mal etwas mehr Dankbarkeit kommen. Am besten wäre es wenn wir die Penner aus der Arena rausbekommen. Aber das bleibt wohl nur ein Traum. Ich wünsche mir einfach nur das wir den Möwen nicht  noch mal entgegenkommen und ihnen erneut den Arsch retten.

Kroos kehrt zurück und Görlitz geht

Hoeneß hat gegenüber “Sky” erklärt mit Hans-Jörg Butt sei man in der “laufenden Saison total zufrieden.” Man werde versuchen, zur kommenden Saison einen “sehr guten Torwart“ zu verpflichten, so der Manager. “Da spielt der Name Manuel Neuer auch eine Rolle. Aber ich bin ganz sicher, dass das nicht in der Winterpause passieren wird. Es hängt aber auch davon ab, wann Schalke Gesprächsbereitschaft signalisiert.”

Ansonsten ist mittlerweile klar das es nach Jose Ernesto Sosa einen weiteren Abgang geben wird. Andreas Görlitz wird den Klub in der Winterpause verlassen. “Es ist mit dem Verein abgestimmt, dass ich im Winter gehen kann“, so der Außenverteidiger. Damit wären wir weiteren “Ballast” im Kader los. Sehr schön.

Und auch in Sachen Toni Kroos ist klar wie es weiter gehen wird. Das Talent ist noch bis zum Sommer 2010 an Bayer Leverkusen ausgeliehen. Zuletzt hatte Rudi Völler angekündigt den 20-Jährigen  fest verpflichten zu wollen. Dem hat Uli Hoeneß nun eine klare Absage erteilt.

Wenn man sich am Rande des Spitzenspiels am 22. November in München zusammensetze, „können wir gerne über alles reden, aber sicher nicht über einen Wechsel von Toni Kroos“, so der Manager. „Wir haben mit Toni Kroos einen Vertrag bis 2012 und den wollen wir gemeinsam erfüllen.”

Ugh… A good weekend for some, perhaps. As always, only the big games – ’cause no one gives a hoot how Sheffield Wednesday did (sorry, Sheffielders).

Football:

Liverpool 2-0 Manchester Utd – On friday night I sat in a pub with a friend of mine, who nursed his pint as he mourned his team’s downward spiral. He is, of course, a Liverpool fan. I told him not to worry – that they’d beat MUFC this weekend and they’d bounce back. I’m not sure exactly how much either of us believed what I was saying, but sure enough, the game rolled around and Liverpool came out on top at Anfield. The Scousers would survive a second minute scare when Wayne Rooney found the back of the net (only to be disallowed for offside) and would go ahead in the 65th minute thanks to a classy finish from Fernando Torres. Nemanja Vidic and Javier Mascherano would both be sent off in the dying minutes of the match and it would be the Frenchman David Ngog who would seal United’s fate in stopagge time, finding the net on 96′. So all you sad-eyed Scousers, rejoice! You’re back to winning – for now. And Rafa, Gillette and Hicks – you can breathe again too.

Chelsea 5-0 Blackburn – Rovers fans will not be rejoicing this weekend. Gaël Givet opened the scoring in Saturday’s match by deflecting Nicolas Anelka’s shot into the back of his own net on 20′. That would hold the Blues until the half, but on 48′ Didier Drogba won a spot kick for his side and Frank Lampard (despite a returning Joe Cole wanting it oh so badly) converted to double Chelsea’s lead. From that point on, the floodgates were opened: within the next 15 minutes Michael Essien buried another of his rare but famed long range efforts, Lampard bagged his brace, and Didier Drogba brought Chelsea’s tally to 5. Blackburn were completely overrun by the home side, who obviously wanted to show that last week’s defeat to Aston Villa was not a sign of futher weakness. Joe Cole also made a fantastic appearance, his first in the Premiership this year, running the visitors ragged and creating all sorts of chances for his side. In their last two fixtures the Blues have 9 goals for and 0 against. Not bad Carletto, not bad.

Arsenal 2-2 West Ham – Despite Arsene Wenger’s claim that the Gunners will pick up at least one trophy this year, his side were unable to pick up full points against cross-town rivals West Ham this weekend. First half goals from Robin van Persie and William Gallas looked like they might be enough to see the Gooners take full points, but late strikes from Carlton Cole and Italian substitute Alessandro Diamanti saw Gianfranco Zola’s side make a marvelous comeback – despite the sending off of Hammer midfielder Scott Parker. Seems like the trophies are still a long way away, Wenger.

Futbol:

Real Madrid 0-0 Sporting de Gijon - Sans-CR9 Madrid were unable to bounce back from their midweek loss to AC Milan and gain a positive result domestically this weekend. Los Merengues were held to a draw at El Molinón by the midtable side, who were kept afloat largely through the heroic efforts of their netminder, Juan Pablo. Kaká once again failed to impress in the white shirt, and Manuel Pellegrini’s side dropped points in La Liga for only the second time this season to fall three points short of Barcelona. Not the result Los Blancos were looking for – one can only imagine that just about everyone involved in that club is virtually counting down the days until their most expensive signing is fit again. But not I!

Villareal 2-1 Malaga – Unlike his current side, Manuel Pellegrini’s former squad were able to bounce back after a midweek European defeat to Rome’s other team and grab their first domestic win of the season. El Submarino Amarillo took the lead on 27′ thanks to the Brazilian Nilmar, only for Malaga’s Luque to equalize in the dying seconds of the first half. However, it wouldn’t take long after the break to restore that lead, as defender Capdevila found the back of the net on 54′ – his goal would be enough to see the home side grab all 3 points and that much-needed first victory. Finally, something (however little) to celebrate at El Madrigal.

Barcelona 6-1 Real Zaragoza – Unlike their arch-rivals, Barcelona showed that they weren’t too worried about their midweek loss to Rubin Kazan with a 6-goal thrashing of Real Zaragoza. Bullies. Seydou Keita bagged a treble, Zlatan Ibrahimovic bagged a brace and Lionel Messi bagged one of his own in a comfortable victory for the Catalan side. Jorge López pulled one back for his side on 77′, but it was little more than consolation as the Blaugrana ran rampant in the Camp Nou. I suppose the rest of us have now been warned…

Calcio:

AC Milan 2-1 Chievo Verona - In keeping with the theme of last-gasp comebacks and goal-scoring defenders, AC Milan were able to grab their second straight Serie A win after Alessandro Nesta, of all people, scored twice in the last 10 minutes of the match to earn his club all 3 points against the Flying Donkeys. Nesta’s heroic efforts cancelled out the 7th minute lead which Giampiero Pinzi had afforded his side and which had stood for the better part of the match. It seems that Leonardo’s men are finally finding their legs to stand on after a more-than-shaky start to the season this year – it’s about time, Rossoneri; it’s about time.

Inter 2-1 Catania - i Nerazzurri were able to reassert their position atop Serie A with a comfortable win over a struggling Sicilian side at the San Siro on Saturday (ooh, alliterative!). Catania fell behind early in the game as first-half goals from Sulley Muntari and Wesley Sneijder seemed to put the match well out of reach. However, their lead would be halved when keeper Julio Cesar erred and was forced to give up a penalty on 83′; which Giuseppe Mascara duly converted. Though Catania would pour forward after that in hopes of finding their equalizer, Inter afforded no clear-cut chances to their visitors and were able to secure victory, reasserting themselves atop the Serie A table after being usurped earlier that day. Speaking of which…

Sampdoria 4-1 Bologna – Call it the Antonio Cassano show. Call it the Daniele Mannini show. Call it whatever you want, but know that Sampdoria mean business. Sure, Bologna are relegation fodder and aren’t exactly the stiffest test Serie A have to offer, but then, neither are Catania. The visitors wasted no time, with Giampaolo Pazzini scoring on 7′, Daniele Mannini adding two of his own, and Reto Ziegler rounding it out to 4-0 within the next 30 minutes. Marco Di Vaio, easily Bologna’s best player, picked up a red card early on – however Pablo Osvaldo would find a late consolation goal for the home side. Though Fanantonio didn’t get his name on the scoresheet, he had a hand in two of his side’s goals and his creativity was, as ever, the driving force behind Sampdoria’s potent attack. After Saturday’s blowout, i Blucerchiati enjoyed a short time at the summit of Italian calcio, before Inter reasserted themselves later that afternoon. Another seriously impressive performance from the upstart side from Genova – the only question that remains is just how long they can keep this up.

That about sums it up.

Livorno 1-0 AS Roma - I have only one thing to say: this team needs to learn how to play without Totti. After last weekend’s loss to Milan and the midweek draw at Fulham, it appears that Claudio Ranieri’s honeymoon with AS Roma has come to an abrupt end. The team is now forced to face a harsh reality: Totti is out and they are expected to win anyways. Livorno are absolute bottom of the table and they just sacked their coach – today was Serse Cosmi’s debut as manager of the struggling side. For i Giallorossi to lose to this side at the Olimpico is nothing short of disastrous and the 1-goal lead afforded to the visitors by Francesco Tavano should have been easily overcome. Jérémy Menez and Mirko Vucinic proved ineffectual up front and while Daniele De Rossi looked solid while defending, perhaps it should be he who steps up to provide an offensive threat in the absence of Er Pupone. Of course, I’m being ridiculous – one of DDR’s problems is that he already tries to do too much at once. Stefano Guberti once again looked strong, bringing immediate life to the side after he replaced Menez at the half, and even Julio Baptista was thrown into the match in a last-ditch effort to quiet the boos resounding throughout the Olimpico. In the end, nothing worked and i Lupi are left to ponder another defeat to another weaker side. We need to snap out of this and fast.

Bari 2-0 Lazio – Misery loves company. Luckily for Romanisti, Laziali know little else. We weren’t the only team (not even the only team in Rome) to face defeat against a newly-promoted side this weekend – Lazio’s winless streak extends to 7 games as they were defeated handily by i Galletti, who put in a mighty performance at the Stadio San Nicola this evening. Bari went ahead on only 11′ thanks to Paulo Barreto, though they wouldn’t improve upon that lead until the second half, when Riccardo Meggiorini ran onto a ball from Vitaly Kutuzov and shot top corner on 69′. Lazio struggled throughout the manage and did not look capable of bringing themselves back into it – their fate was sealed with just 7 minutes to go when substitute Ousmane Dabo was sent off. Hey Romanisti, at least we’re not Lazio!

Juventus 1-0 Siena – Today Juve once again failed to live up to their billing of Scudetto contenders. With Livorno’s victory over you-know-who, Siena sit absolute rock-bottom in Serie A – yet it took La Vecchia Signora 72 minutes to break down the home side. It would be Brazilian hitman Amauri who finally found the back of the net for a side that doesn’t look nearly good enough to mount a proper Scudetto challenge. All in all, not impressive fare from Ciro Ferrara’s men, but I’m sure they’ll happily take home the 3 points.

Fußball:

Bayern München 2-1 Eintracht – Die Roten were spared embarrassment after a pair of late goals made up for the concession of a surprise lead. Though Louis van Gaal’s side were the more dangerous looking out of the gate, neither side were able to capitalize upon their first-half chances (ever-reliable Luca Toni struck woodwork yet again) and it would be the visiting side who would take the lead on 60′ at the Allianz-Arena when Alexander Meier cut behind Phillip Lahm and finished coolly. It would be substitutions that made the difference for Bayern, with the not-quite-fit Arjen Robben coming on to tap home the equalizer on 70′ and defenseman Daniel Van Buyten sealing victory on 88′ after being subbed on for the struggling Toni. The last-gasp victory should go a ways towards erasing midweek memories of Bordeaux and sees Bayern take 5th place in the Bundesliga.

Il colpo di testa che Daniel van Buyten ha messo a segno proprio allo scadere, sabato, è valso al Bayern una fondamentale vittoria in rimonta su un Eintracht Francoforte poco lucido ma duro a morire.

I 69.000 dell’Allianz Arena hanno assistito a un primo tempo poco fluido e con poche occasioni, anche se Luca Toni è stato incredibilmente sfortunato colpendo un palo poco prima dell’intervallo. Al rientro in campo, gli uomini in rosso hanno preso il controllo del gioco, lasciando all’Eintracht un’unica occasione, sfruttata da Alexander Meier che ha trovato il vantaggio a cavallo dell’ora.

Arjen Robben, entrato come sostituto, ha pareggiato dieci minuti più tardi e Martin Demichelis ha fatto in tempo a fare il proprio rientro nell’epilogo, dopo dieci settimane di assenza, ma è stato van Buyten, reinventatosi attaccante d’emergenza, a trovare il gol della vittoria ad appena due minuti dalla fine.

Con questa vittoria il Bayern sale al quinto posto della Bundesliga con 18 punti in 10 partite, ad appena quattro lunghezze dai capoclassifica del Leverkusen, anche se la situazione potrebbe cambiare quando, domenica, molte squadre di vertice scenderanno in campo. Bayern ed Eintracht s’incontreranno nuovamente fra appena quattro giorni in un incontro valevole per la DFB Cup, in programma a Francoforte.

Interessante WDR Sport Inside Sendung über die finanziellen Verbindlichkeiten der Bundesligaclubs. Der Fokus in dem Bericht liegt auf Schalke 04 und unseren Bayern.

Vieles ist sicherlich nachdenkenswert. Allerdings hat man durch die Abfolge in dem Bericht das Gefühl, Schalke und Bayern wären in ähnlichen Situationen. Da sind sicherlich Unterschiede wie Tag und Nacht vorhanden, das hätte man durchaus betonen müssen. Dennoch ist natürlich nicht von der Hand zu weisen, dass die Allianz Arena, vor allem nach dem Ausstieg der 59er aus der Stadion GmbH, eine große finanzielle Belastung für uns ist. Sicherlich auch richtig ist, dass die Verluste der Stadion GmbH nicht in den Bilanzen des Vereins auftauchen. Allerdings sind diese 7 Millionen Verlust pro Jahr nichts existenzgefährdendes für uns. Bei anderen Vereinen sieht das sicherlich ganz anders aus.

Der geplante Audi-Deal wird auch nicht zu Unrecht kritisiert. Allerdings auch eher unter moralischen Gesichtspunkten, denn aus betriebswirtschaftlichen. Natürlich ist es erschreckend Uli Hoeneß im Jahr 2006 in dem Bericht reden zu hören von einer jungen Mannschaft, welche aufgebaut werden soll, ohne verrückte Summen auszugeben. Wenn man sich vor Augen hält, was seitdem bis jetzt an Geld für Stars ausgegeben wurde, muss man sich abermals fragen, was wollen die Herren in unserer Führungsetage eigentlich? Wissen sie das selbst überhaupt? De facto würden die 100 Millionen von Audi allerdings natürlich nichts anderes tun, als die kritisierten Verluste der Stadion GmbH geringer ausfallen zu lassen.

Damit sind wir aber natürlich nur in einer Lage, in der Uli Hoeneß uns garantiert nicht gern sieht, auch wenn das nach außen hin anders kommuniziert wird. Vereinsanteile zur Tilgung von Verbindlichkeiten zu verkaufen, ich denke Uli Hoeneß wäre bei dem Gedanken vor ein paar Jahren noch jedem an die Gurgel gesprungen, der diesen Gedanken ausspricht. Nur muss man dann ganz ehrlich sagen: Das hätten die Herren sich vorher überlegen müssen. Es ist sicherlich nicht unrichtig, was da im Bericht anklingt, dass sich zu viele Leute vom schönen Schein der neuen Stadionwelt haben blenden lassen. Und jetzt ist man in einem Mechanismus drin, den keiner wirklich gewollt hat für den FC Bayern München.

Aber es sei nochmal betont: Es geht hier nicht um unsere Existenz, wie etwa bei Schalke 04. Es geht bei uns “nur” um Handlungsfreiheit und Unabhängigkeit. Etwas, das die Fanseele – auch meine – natürlich sehr umtreibt. Niemand will dabei zusehen müssen, wie Vereinsanteile an Wirtschaftsunternehmen veräußert werden. Auch nicht schleichend Stück für Stück. Denn machen wir uns nichts vor. Selbst wenn die Gegenleistung des Vereins klar formuliert ist und sich in diesen Formulierungen auf Werbemaßnahmen und Cooperationen beschränkt, so ist doch klar, dass bei den Summen die da im Spiel sind, auch Einflussnahmen weit über den Sponsoringbereich hinaus stattfinden. Und da hört der Spaß definitiv auf.

Und die Frage muss erlaubt sein: Wo hört es auf? 10 % für adidas…okay. Adidas passt ja auch ganz gut zu uns und es ist eine sehr lange und enge Zusammenarbeit. 10 % für Audi? Keine Ahnung ob man zur Tilgung von Verbindlichkeiten in den sauren Apfel beißen muss. Gefühlt schmerzt es sehr. Nun ja, immerhin ist Audi ein recht seriöses Unternehmen. Mit Schmerzen würde man es vielleicht grad noch so aushalten. Aber was dann? 10 % an die Telekom? Weils ja auch so ein enger Partner ist? Und danach? 10 % an wen auch immer? Weil sich die Leute mitlerweile nach dieser Salamischeibentaktik damit abgefunden haben und man es machen kann und dadurch wieder frisches Geld hat? Und was dann? Die lästige 50 + 1 Regel endgültig abschaffen, weil man sonst nur noch 9 % verkaufen könnte?

Holzauge sei wachsam kann ich nur sagen. Wir werden die Dinge genauestens beobachten. Ich für meinen Teil jedenfalls bin sehr schwer mit Salamischeibentaktiken ruhig zu stellen.

O Donbass Arena é um novo estádio em Donetsk, Ucrânia. Foi inaugurado a 29 de Agosto de 2009 e é servido por um relvado de relva natural. A instalação está localizada no centro da cidade, no parque Lenin Comsomol.

Tem capacidade para 50000 espectadores e irá receber os jogos do FC Shakhtar Donetsk e possivelmente alguns dos jogos da fase final do Europeu de 2012, que será co-organizado pela Ucrânia e Polónia. É um dos mais modernos estádios do mundo sendo considerado um estádios de Elite da UEFA.

O custo inicial estimado era de cerca de 250 milhões de dólar, sendo que 30 dos quais estavam destinados a um parque recreativo à volta do estádio. Porém o custo final do projecto cifrou-se em mais de 400 milhões de dólares.

A construção foi iniciada em 2006. A empresa responsável pela obra foi a empresa ENKA, sendo esta uma empresa de origem turca.

O Donbass Arena foi desenhado pela ArupSport, que também projectou o City of Manchester Stadium (Manchester, Inglaterra), o Allianz Arena (Munique, Alemanha) e o Beijing National Stadium (Pequim, China). Uma solução de engenharia de excepcional – o efeito do tecto a subir - fará com que o estádio se assemelhe a um disco voador. A forma oval e  a fachada envidraçada garantirão uma visão inesquecível. O estádio está localizado próximo do RSK Olimpiyskiy Regional Sports Complex criando um elegante conjunto arquitectónico. A iluminação externa fará com que o Estádio brilhe como um diamante na noite.

O Donbass Arena foi inaugurado a 29 de Agosto de 2009, embora com a velocidade de construção e cronograma poderia ter sido feito mais cedo. 29 de Agosto é o dia dos mineiros na Ucrânia e o dia cidade de Donetsk. Também o nome do clube local, Shakhtar Donetsk, traduzida para Inglês é “Donetsk Coal Miners”, logo esta data foi escolhida pelo seu simbolismo.

Mit einem fulminanten Auftritt haben die Bayern den amtierenden deutschen Meister Wolfsburg aus der Allianz Arena gefegt. Der erst am Donnerstag verpflichtete Holländer Arjen Robben zeigte mit einem Doppelpack sein Können. Mit dazu beigetragen hat Franck Ribery mit seinen genialen Pässen.

Der Ex-Stuttgarter Mario Gomez eröffnete den Torreigen mit seinem 2. Saisontor zum 1:0 in der 27.Minute.

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge fühlte sich nach diesem sehr starken Auftritt seiner Bayern bestätigt. “Geld schießt eben doch Tore”, sagte er – und fügte eine Kampfansage an: “Wir haben einen sehr schlechten Start gehabt. Aber ab jetzt geht die Bundesliga-Saison los. Wir geben Vollgas. Es wird schwer, uns zu schlagen.” Quelle bundesliga.de

Das 3:0 gegen Wolfsburg lässt auf mehr hoffen. Hat richtig Spaß gemacht diesen Bayern zuzuschauen. Nächstes Spiel gegen Dortmund werden mit Sicherheit Ribery und Robben von Anfang an auflaufen. Ich freue mich schon auf dieses Spiel.

Hallo liebe Leser,

am Samstag geht um 18:30 Uhr das absolute Topspiel in München über die Bühne. Der FC Bayern München empfängt in der Allianz Arena den Meister aus Wolfsburg. Ganz Fußballdeutschland wird morgen nach München schauen und dieses Spiel bewerten, analysieren und lange darüber sprechen.

Seit 43 Jahren sind die Bayern nicht mehr so schlecht in eine Saison gestartet. Mit 2 Punkten aus drei Spielen ist es kein Wunder, dass der Baum in München anfängt zu brennen. Einige Fans wünschen sich sogar Jürgen Klinsmann und seine Buddhas zurück, denn so schlecht wie im Moment waren die Bayern selbst unter ihm nicht. Die Bayern haben 3 Tore geschossen, aber auch 4 Tore bekommen. Das ist zu viel für eine Mannschaft, die die Meisterschaft gewinnen will und vor allem in der Champions League etwas reißen will.

Daher hat man am gestrigen Donnerstag knapp 25 Millionen € ausgegeben und mit einem Blitztransfer den Superstar Arjen Robben von Real Madrid verpflichtet. Robben ist ein sehr schneller und technisch hochwertiger Spieler, der Spiele auch im Alleingang gewinnen kann. Er wird den Bayern helfen und wie es aussieht auch morgen auf dem Platz stehen.

Am Anfang der Saison wurde viel darüber geredet, wie van Gaal wohl ist. Selbst die meisten Journalisten in Deutschland kannten ihn nicht. Nun ist er da und leistet keine schlechte Arbeit in München. Es sieht zwar so aus, aber aus der Ferne würde ich sagen, dass die Spieler noch nicht richtig wissen, was der Trainer von ihnen will. Ich frage mich manchmal, ob die Spiele van Gaal immer verstehen, denn in manchen Interviews habe ich Probleme ihn zu verstehen, da er noch nicht das beste Deutsch spricht. Das System, dass van Gaal spielen will leuchtet ein und ist taktisch sehr professionell. Die Frage ist nur, ob und wann die Spieler dieses System verstehen und ob sie es auch abrufen können.

Eines der größten Probleme in München ist aber der Medienrummel. Wie soll ein Trainer mit seiner Mannschaft in Ruhe arbeiten können, wenn die Presse immer auf der Matte steht. Gerade bei schlechten Spielen, wie am vergangenen Samstag in Mainz kocht die Presse über und man hat kaum Zeit für einen klaren Gedanken. Das bringt Unruhe in die Mannschaft und in das Umfeld. Auch wenn es die Spieler nicht zugeben wollen, aber es stört den Mannschaftsgeist und einige sind vielleicht nicht so bei der Sache, wie es eigentlich sein sollte.

Es fehlt bei den Bayern dennoch einer, der die Spieler wachrüttelt und einfach mal dazwischen haut. Als Beispiele fallen mir Oliver Kahn und Stefan Effenberg ein. Bei den Bayern fehlt es einfach an Typen. Der einzige, der ein wenig an die beiden rankommt ist Mark van Bommel. Aber der ist in meinen Augen einfach kein Vorbild, da er bei jedem Spiel rotgefährdet ist. Er spielt immer volle Kanne und das meist auf Kosten des Gegners. Egal ob Lahm, Schweinsteiger oder Klose, sie haben keinen “Arsch” in der Hose um einfach mal zu sagen, was Sache ist. In diesem Bereich fehlt einfach jemand, der die Courage hat auf den Tisch zu hauen.

Ein Problem sehe ich auch auf der Torwartposition. Ich sehe Rensing nicht als die Ideallösung in München. Ich muss sogar Rudi Assauer Recht geben, denn dieser hat in seinem Videoblog gesagt, dass Rensing einer der schlechtesten Keeper der Liga ist. Von vielen Bayernfans wird er hochgejubelt, aber leider zeigt er nicht die Leistungen, die diesen Jubel bestätigen würden. Nicht zu Unrecht sind mit Manuel Neuer und Rene Adler zwei andere junge Torhüter im Aufgebot der Nationalmannschaft. Jörg Butt ist zwar ein guter zweiter Mann, aber als Nummer 1 bei den Bayern nicht mehr gut genug. Es wäre besser gewesen, wenn man Keeper wie Robert Enke und Manuel Neuer verpflichtet hätte. Die Bayern wollen die Nummer 1 in Deutschland sein, dafür braucht man auch einen Torwart, der eben Top-Leistungen zeigt.

Die Niederlage des VFL Wolfsburg am letzten Sonntag war völlig gerechtfertigt. Der HSV war besser und hat verdient gewonnen. Ich persönlich habe nach dem 2:2 gedacht, dass der VFL das Spiel nach Hause bringt, aber dann kam das 3:2 und somit der verdiente Sieg für den HSV.

Ich gehe davon aus, dass der VFL Wolfsburg morgen in der Allianz Arena gewinnen wird, evtl. sogar eindeutig. Die Bayern sind noch nicht soweit, um mit dem VFL auf einem Niveau zu spielen, auch wenn das die Bayernfans anders sehen. Die einzige Chance für die Bayern wäre ein frühes Tor, vielleicht sogar 2. Ich sehe beim VFL nur eine Schwäche… die Abwehr. Diese konnte bisher nicht überzeugen, gerade bei Freistößen hat diese viele Löcher, auch bei Kontern sah der VFL noch nicht so souverän aus.

Wenn der VFL Wolfsburg aber einmal am rollen ist, dann wird Rensing im Bayerntor überrollt werden. Die Bayernverteidigung ist eh alles andere als gut, fast schon amateurhaft. Die Wölfe spielen taktisch sehr gut und vor allem schnell. Sie kontern schnell und machen ihre Chancen eigentlich immer rein. Der Sturm mit Grafite und Dzeko ist einer der besten in Europa. Mit Misimovic im Mittelfeld ist dieses Dreieck fast unbezwingbar. Mit Obafemi Martins auf der Bank haben sie dann noch einen, der schneller ist als der Schall und der vor allem immer für ein Tor gut ist.

Es ist eine Klasse, die nur der VFL Wolfsburg hat. Gerade in der Schlussphase können sie ein Spiel noch komplett drehen und so ihren Gegner schwindelig spielen. In der letzten Saison, genauer gesagt am 26. Spieltag gab es ein 5:1 in der Volkswagen-Arena.  Tore sind also garantiert. Ich gehe davon aus, dass wir ein Spiel auf hohem Niveau erwarten dürfen das am Ende zugunsten des VFL Wolfsburgs ausgehen wird. Ich räume den Bayern ganz ehrlich keine Chance ein, auch wenn sie zuhause spielen und Arjen Robben seinen ersten Einsatz hat.

Eines ist sicher:

Wenn die Bayern morgen nicht gewinnen, dann wird es langsam eng für van Gaal. Ich persönlich würde ihm noch mehr Zeit geben um seinen Plan, seine Strategie umzusetzen, aber wer München kennt, der weiß, dass es alles andere als ruhig werden würde. Man muss abwarten wie das Präsidium auf eine weitere Niederlage reagieren würde.

Der Gewinner ist auf jeden Fall der Fan. Wir dürfen uns auf ein extrem spannendes und richtungsweisendes Spiel freuen. Mit Arjen Robben und Franck Ribery gegen Misimovic, Grafite und Dzeko. Mehr geht in der Bundesliga eigentlich nicht.

Kleine Randnotiz: Bei dem Spiel morgen werden ganze 22 Kameras eingesetzt. Wir dürfen uns also auch auf eine tolle Übertragung freuen.

TSV 1860 lost today at home against Karlsruhe SC with 1:3. It was the top match of the weekend in the 2. Bundesliga. Kenny scored in the 18th minute his 2nd goal for the Blues.

Secondo pareggio consecutivo per il Bayern Monaco, bloccato oggi per 1-1 all’Allianz Arena dal Werder Brema in un match giocato questo pomeriggio per la seconda giornata della Bundesliga, il campionato tedesco. Dopo il pareggio della scorsa settimana in casa dell’Hoffenheim, appuntamento con la vittoria quindi ancora rimandato per la squadra del neo allenatore Louis van Gaal. Bayern ancora senza Luca Toni e sotto al 39′ per il gol di Mesut Oezil, poi pareggio di Mario Gomez al 72′. Al 62′ van Gaal ha mandato in campo anche Frank Ribery, chiamando il “ribelle” fantasista francese in campo al posto di Jose Sosa.L’Amburgo ha travolto per 4-1 il Borussia Dortmund del presunto mago della panchina, il mediatico e sovra esposto Juergen Klopp (con i gol di Demel, Ze Roberto, Guerrero e Berg). L’Eintracht Francoforte è bloccato in casa 1-1 dal Norimberga. Il Bayer Leverkusen ha piegato 1-0 l’Hoffenheim grazie al gol di Stefan Kiessling.Il Wolfsburg va a segno e viaggia a punteggio pieno: i campioni di Germania si impongono a Colonia 3-1, grazie alle reti di Dzeko (28′ st), all’autogol di Wome (29′ st) e di Martins (42′ st). I padroni di casa erano passati in vantaggio al 4′ della ripresa con Ehret.

Comform Prosport, ziarul Times din Marea Britanie a întocmit un clasament cu cele mai frumoase stadioane din lume. Surprinzător este că stadionul echipei de fotbal Dinamo București este pe locul 8. Întreg clasamentul arată așa:

Un clasament destul de ciudat dacă ne uităm la unele stadioane ce se află in acest top. Aici mă refer bineînțeles la Stadionul Dinamo, Inonu și Craven Cottage. Când am văzut lucrul acesta pe Prosport era să-mi sară ochii din orbite. Cum nu prea am încredere în jurnaliștii de la Prosport, am decis să caut direct la sursă, să văd dacă este adevărat. Pe prima pagină nimic despre acest clasament, așa că scriem frumos in căsuța de search stadiums, și găsim Top ten football stadiums. Ia să vedem. Și minuneeeeee. Chiar apare Stadionul Dinamo. Să vedem ce zice autorul acestui clasament, Tony Evans despre Stadionul Dinamo. “A running track is normally enough to destroy a stadium’s credibility. However, Dynamo Bucharest’s ground is a masterpiece of Cold War chic. You are greeted by Stalinist statues before arriving at a sunken bowl. A wide staircase behind the goal takes you pitchside — you can imagine a baby’s pram rattling down the stairs — and the closest thing to executive boxes are the balconies of neighbouring tower blocks. “. Destul de frumoasă această descriere, dar nu știu care-i faza cu statuile staliniste.
Acum să-mi dau și eu cu părerea despre acest clasament. Pe primul loce eu aș fi plasat stadionul din Munchen, Allianz Arena. Din poze arată minunat, iar in realitate cu siguranță arată bestial. Signal Iduna Park, sau Westfalenstadion e destul de drăguț, dar mi se pare că designul tribunelor este prea înghesuit. San Siro, stadionul echipei mele preferata, AC Milan, din nou un stadion frumușel, dar formele sale nu prea tind către frumusețe arhitecturală. Despre Santiago Bernabeu și Camp Nou nu am decât cuvinte de laudă, sunt niște stadioane foarte frumoase, dar mai mult îmi place Camp Nou, din cauza formelor rotunjoare. Stadionul La Bombonera nu-mi place absolut deloc. Acea formă dreptunghiulară și taită pe la mijloc, mă respinge. Craven Cottage înțeleg perfect de ce apare în top. Pot spune că este un stadionu foarte frumos, în ciuda dimensiunilor sale destul de reduse. Acest sadionu combină stiul rustic, vechi din secolul 20, cu stilul modern al secolului 21. Este amplasat exact pe malul Tamisei. Am ajuns și la stadionul Ștefan cel Mare. Nu mi-a plăcut niciodată acest stadion, și nu înțeleg ce a văzut Tony Evans de l-a introdus în acest top, și înaintea stadionului Cam Nou. Este un stadion mic și vechi, ce aduce la suprafață stilul comunist, cel de stadion oval, cu pistă de alergare, asemănător cu stadionul lui Dinamo Kiev, sau Dinamo Minsk, sau Dinamo Moscova. Chiar dacă nu simpatizez acest stadion, mă bucur că unul românesc apare in clasament. Sper ca în următorii ani, capacitatea spectatorilor să fie mărită, și tribunele acoperita. Tot ce mai pot spune e baftă Dinamo în Europa.

Arsenal 6-2 Blackburn - Not to be outdone by Liverpool and Tottenham’s high-scoring performances last weekend, the Gunners responded with a blowout of their own in which six different players appeared on the scoresheet. Thomas Vermaelen, Robin Van Persie, Andrei Arshavin, Cesc Fabregas, Theo Walcott and Nick Bendtner all netted for the Londoners; while David Dunn and Steven N’Zonzi scored for the visitors – N’Zonzi giving his side an early lead in the 4th minute. An important win for Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, and a result which puts them ahead of rivals Liverpool with a game in hand.

Chelsea 2-0 Liverpool – For a match that was touted in the days leading up to it as all-important and due to be a spectacular showdown of two top-notch Premiership sides, neither Liverpool nor Chelsea were able to make an impact upon the early stages of the game. Both sides looked tentative and unwilling to leap headfirst into the match – the sides would remain even until the 60th minute, when a Nicolas Anelka strike put the blues ahead. The wind was more or less taken out of the Merseysiders’ sails at this point, though Fernando Torres, Ryan Babel and Yossi Benayoun did all they could to equalize (the latter missing a late sitter which should have brought his side level). However, the the Scousers’ fate was sealed by Florent Malouda on 91′, as Chelsea proved that all it takes to win in the English Premier League are French strikers and an Italian manager.

Manchester Utd 2-2 Sunderland – As usual when things go wrong at Old Trafford, the blame for Manchester United’s draw against  lowly Sunderland was all the fault of the match official – if we’re to believe Sir Alex Ferguson’s side of the story. Ferguson lashed out at referee Alan Wiley after the match, questioning his physical condition and claiming he did not add on enough stoppage time at the end of the second half. However, I think it is a bit ludicrous to blame United’s perhaps disappointing result on anyone but themselves. Goals from Darren Bent and Kenwyne Jones (on either side of a classy volley from Dimitar Berbatov) had seen the Black Cats go ahead of the home side at Old Trafford, but the visitors’ luck began to turn when Kieran Richardson was sent off for poor sportsmanship in the 84th minute. Things went from bad to worse when, on 92′, Anton Ferdinand deflected Patrice Evra’s long-range effort into the back of his own net – earning a not-quite-deserved draw from a United who had looked hapless and disorganize all throughout the match. Who would’ve thought that the Black Cats could be so unlucky?

Fußball:

FC Köln 0-0 Bayern Münich – This match has been called the most boring game of the Bundesliga played yet this year – and not just by me. Die Roten played almost the exact same squad they utilized in their midweek draw against Juventus – the only change being for Arjen Robben, who picked up an injury in that Champions League match, thus forcing the hand of Louis van Gaal. The fans at the Allianz Arena were treated to a game riddled with fouls and choppy play – game broadcasts panned over the stands at halftime to find fans fast asleep. I am not exaggerating. While Bayern could barely get an attack started, the dull play was not entirely their fault – Köln seemed content to park the bus in front of their goal, not playing a single player upfield and holding the home side to a nil-nil draw. Dull stuff from Deutschland, I’m afraid.

Bayer Leverkusen 4-0 Nürnberg - Elsewhere in Der Vaterland, goals were scored, and in fact scored aplenty. Keverkusen hit hard and early, taking control of the match at the BayArena with a fantastic set piece goal from Toni Kroos on 2′, followed by a spot kick by Simon Rolfes on 28′ and a strike from Erin Derdiyok on 34′ to round out the first half. In the second half the home side eased up on the throttle a little, but not enough for Nürnberg to bounce back, and not enough to stop Stephan Riessling from scoring his league-leading 6th goal of the season. A win that sees Bayer seated atop the Bundesliga table, separated by goal difference from Northern side Hamburg SV.

Hamburg SV 3-1 Hertha Berlin – Speak of the devil – Hamburg also pulled off a win this weekend, defeating Hertha in their own house at the Olympiastadion in Berlin. Hertha took an early lead thanks to an Arne Friedrich header in the 9th minute, but after an own goal from Claudiano Bezerra Da Silva equalized, Hamburg added two more of their own to go up 3-1 before the half. Neither side managed to add to that tally in the second half and so Hamburg comes away with a victory that (as mentioned) sees them second in the Bundesliga behind Bayer Leverkusen. David Jarolim and Ze Roberto netted for the away side.

Calcio:

"Gee Rob... my bad."

AS Roma 2-1 Napoli – Francesco Totti is trying to get Roberto Donadoni fired. Donadoni’s Napoli have had a miserable start to the season – a positive result at the Stadio Olimpico today might have gone towards convincing Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis that the manager was worth keeping around. Unfortunately for the ex-Azzurri boss, Roma came out strong, with Simone Perrotta and John-Arne Riise missing a pair of early chances that should have put i Lupi easily ahead of their struggling opposition. However, it would be Napoli who would ultimately strike first – after Roma keeper Julio Sergio was substituted for injury, his replacement Bogdan Lobont was beaten by Ezequiel Lavezzi’s low shot on 25′. However, Roma weren’t about to let their bright start be ruined, and equalized on 37′ with a ball that started at the feet of Mirko Vucinic, but was redirected by Perrotta and then (who else?) Francesco Totti into the back of the Napoli goal. Totti would strike again in the second half with a low shot from some distance against which Napoli keeper Morgan De Sanctis never stood a chance. Er Pupone’s brace was enough to see his side clear of the visitors and put Roberto Donadoni’s job in serious danger. Sorry Rob; nothing personal eh?

Inter 2-1 Udinese – A last-gasp win for i Nerazzurri which, combined with other events to have transpired this weekend, sees Jose Mourinho’s men sitting atop the table for the first time this season. The game was played at a lightning pace straight from the outset, with Sulley Muntari and Simone Pepe spurning early chances. Dejan Stankovic gave the home side a lead on 22′ at the San Siro, only for the on-fire Antonio Di Natale to equalize not 5 minutes later. Both teams would have plenty of opportunities – though a combination of Sulley Muntari’s lack of aim and Samir Handanovic’s goaltending ability saved Udinese on several occasions. However, it would be Inter who would take home the full spoils, as Wesley Sneijder’s 93rd minute strike gave La Beneamata a late, late victory.

"Did I look worried?"

Palermo 2-0 Juventus – Many thanks to il Rosanero for keeping my claims of the Year of the Underdog alive. The Sicilian side absolutely dismantled Juventus, who have been flying high in Serie A of late, and shown them their first defeat of the season to prevent i Bianconeri from rising to the top of the table. It took a pair of first-half strikes in quick succession to slay La Vecchia Signora, who despite pouring on pressure lacked creativity in the final third of the pitch and were ultimately unable to prevent a defeat at the Stadio Renzo Barbera. Edinson Cavani and Fabio Simplicio were the heroes for the home side, with their goals on 37′ and 42′ respectively proving a hurdle too difficult for Juventus to overcome. All in all, a fantastic win for Palermo which sees them rise to a comfortable midtable standing – and which no doubt allowed Walter Zenga a breath of relief after a stuttering start to the season. An impressive and deserved win for the Sicilian side.

AC Milan 1-1 Atalanta - I have never seen a side so bereft of confidence or direction as the Milan squad which played in the first half of today’s match in Bergamo. Milan were constantly found on the back heel in what is becoming their typical fashion -Gennaro Gattuso charged around like a tank, the strikers had no service, and Andrea Pirlo looked like a shadow of his former self. L’Altri Nerazzurri, as I like to call them, were often the aggressors in the first half and star man Cristiano Doni looked like a legitimate threat to the Milan goal every time the ball was at his feet. In fact, it would be lowly Atalanta who would take the lead in the match, after Simone Tiribocchi buried a ball left for him (perhaps accidentally) by Doni. The goal was borne out of a gross defensive error, as Alessandro Nesta had left Tiribocchi completely unmarked, but nonetheless Atalanta was on top and deservedly so. However, Atalanta would be dealt a crushing blow on 38′, when Ivan Radovanovic was handed a second yellow card for laying hands on Alexandre Pato. For my own part, I had initially thought it was a straight red card, and was seriously questioning whether match-fixing was still alive and well in the Italian game. Ultimately, the card was harsh, but not to the extent that I’d imagined – though it certainly turned the match around and gave i Rossoneri the chance to go on the attack. After the halftime break, the momentum had decidedly been reversed, and it was AC Milan who were on the offensive. Atalanta did all they could to stay ahead in the game, but Ronaldinho’s volley on 83′ inevitably earned the visitors an equalizer. One more thing: Klaas Jan Huntelaar failed to make his mark in the first half, and was substituted early in the second. How is a young striker supposed to build up confidence when he is constantly substituted in what are essentially votes of no confidence from his coach? Just an example of poor man-management from Leonardo, and perhaps another example of why Milan needs to secure themselves a replacement for the disappointing Brazilian tactician.

Sevilla 2-1 Real Madrid – I feel vindicated by this result. I’ve been saying since the shiny new Real Madrid started tearing up La Liga (and Champions League) that when Los Blancos finally found themselves up against an opponent capable of mounting a serious defense, Manuel Pellegrini’s men would find themselves shut down and unable to account for it. Well, it appears that it is Sevilla who was that squad, as Real visited the Estadio Sánchez Pizjuán and suffered their first loss of the season. Madrid were unable to create chances and it was Sevilla who controlled tonight’s match. Jesus Navas gave the home side the lead on 32′, which would stand until Pepe equalized early in the second half. However, Renato would see that Sevilla took all three points from Los Galacticos with a goal on 66′. Perhaps the reason for this defeat can be traced back to the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo, but for the successes of a team which cost hundreds of millions of euros to assemble to ride on the back of a singular player just reveals the shaky foundation upon which this new Galacticos era has been built.

Barcelona 1-0 Almeria – Oh, and Barcelona beat another relatively small team. Spanish youngster Pedro scored the only goal of the match at the Camp Nou.

“Capiamo di più del nostro valore dopo aver giocato con avversari di rango,” ha detto Holger Badstuber appena fuori dalla Sala Stampa dell’Allianz Arena (al termine dell’incontro di Champions League con la Juventus, NdT). “E continueremo su questa strada,” ha aggiunto il ventenne. Ovviamente, Badstuber si riferiva al Bayern nel suo complesso, ma se anche avesse preso in considerazione solo se stesso e Thomas Müller l’affermazione sarebbe stata ugualmente appropriata.

La partita contro la Juventus è stata la seconda giocata da Badstuber in Champions League e la terza da Müller, nonché la prima per entrambi contro un avversario di rango che appartiene all’élite europea. La coppia di ragazzi ha affrontato l’impegno con evidente maturità e la loro prestazione è stata pressoché perfetta. Adesso, entrambi sanno un po’ quanto valgono.

Badstuber e Müller non si sono ancora dimostrati in grado di competere ai più alti livelli, ma sono molto vicini a poter dare un aiuto consistente. Entrambi sono dei debuttanti nel calcio che conta ma danno già l’impressione di sentirsi a proprio agio tra campioni quali Ribery, Buffon e Camoranesi.

Müller onorato

Entrambi hanno giocato nelle sette partite di Bundesliga e nelle due di Champions League disputate finora (mercoledì scorso, NdT). Tutti e due si sono dimostrati decisamente bravi. Müller è risultato primo nel prestigioso sondaggio del periodico Kicker da cui è emerso il Giocatore del Mese di settembre in Bundesliga, aggiudicandosi un notevolissimo 56% dei voti, ben staccato dal secondo, Jefferson Farfan dello Schalke 04, che è stato indicato dal 21% degl’interpellati. “Non posso davvero lamentarmi di come stanno andando le cose in questo momento,” ha commentato Müller, che sta diventando famoso per i suoi colpi di testa.

Uli Hoeness ammette che la nuova stella ha due qualità eccezionali: “Non ha incertezze e sa leggere il gioco all’istante.” L’attaccante, al momento impegnato prevalentemente come centrocampista offensivo, ha già segnato due gol sia in campionato che in Champions League, ma sta coi piedi ben piantati per terra. “Quando penso che alcuni giocatori riescono al massimo ad arrivare fin qui, penso che sia meraviglioso quel che è successo. Ma mi ci sto abituando dopo un anno passato a contatto del gruppo.”

Badstuber soddisfatto

Il difensore centrale Badstuber non gioca per far gol ma per evitare che ne facciano, il che suggerisce che più gioca più può migliorare. Con van Gaal, i difensori centrali devono saper iniziare e sostenere le azioni di contrattacco. La cosa più importante però è che aiutino a non subire gol contro i grandissimi attaccanti che ci sono in Bundesliga e in Europa. Nelle ultime sette uscite (prima dello 0-0 di oggi col Colonia, NdT), il Bayern ha subito soltanto tre gol.

“Devi sempre stare attento a un attaccante come Trezeguet. Può tirare fuori un gol dal nulla, ma ammetto che ci siamo comportati bene difendendo su di lui,” ha riflettuto Badstuber dopo l’incontro di metà settimana. Far bene è decisamente una caratteristica sia sua che di Müller.

Heute Abend geht es für den FC Bayern weiter: Um 19 Uhr muss die Mannschaft gegen den Zweitligisten Rot-Weiß Oberhausen ran. Eine machbare Aufgabe, vor allem da das Spiel vor heimischer Kulisse stattfindet.

Wenn man überhaupt von Kulisse reden kann. Für das Spiel sind erst knapp 39.000 Tickets verkauft, ungefähr 30.000 sind also noch zu haben [> siehe hier]. So wenig Zuschauer kennt die Allianz Arena sonst nur von Spielen der blauen Idioten.

Dieses Spiel ist übrigens kein normales: 1. Geht es um den Einzug ins DFB-Pokal-Achtelfinale,
und 2. ist dieses Spiel das insgesamt 200. in der Arena.

Also verlieren verboten. Van Gaal wird die Mannschaft aber wohl auf einigen Positionen verändern. So könnten Spieler wie Müller, Badstuber, Robben und Olic eine Pause erhalten und dafür Reservisten wie Breno, Ottl, Sosa und Baumjohann eine Bewährungschance bekommen. Klose und Toni werden wohl ebenfalls in den Kader oder sogar in die Startelf zurückkehren. Es gilt mit der richtigen Einstellung in das Spiel zu gehen und den Gegner nicht zu unterschätzen. Vor allem für die Reservespieler ist diese Begegnung die einmalige Chance auf sich aufmerksam zu machen.

Das zweite Jahr in der 2. Bundesliga hat für RWO nicht sonderlich brillant begonnen. Mit einem deutlichen 3:0 gewann Union Berlin am ersten Spieltag gegen die Rot-Weißen. Letzter Platz in der Tabelle! Doch nur wenige Wochen später sieht es ganz anders aus. Nach fünf Spieltagen hat der RWO einen gewaltigen Sprung nach oben geschafft: Platz 4 heißt die momentane Bilanz. Wahnsinn!

Diese tolle Entwicklung macht Hoffnung auf kommenden Dienstag, wenn die Oberhausener zu Gast sind in der Münchner Allianz Arena. Nein, nicht etwa, um gegen die 1860er Löwen zu spielen – auf niemand Geringeren als auf den FC Bayern treffen die Malocher aus dem Ruhrgebiet im DFB-Pokal. Und der rasante Spurt nach oben lässt auf ein spannendes Spiel hoffen. Schließlich haben wir so eine Begegnung schon einmal gehabt, aus der wir zumindest nicht torlos und erst recht nicht als klare Verlierer hervorgingen. 1998 war es, als die Bayern zu Besuch im Gelsenkirchener Parkstadion waren und dort auf den RWO trafen. Lange hielten sich die Oberhausener Jungs gut – damals noch mit dem heutigen Trainer Jürgen Luginger als Mittelfeldspieler. 3:1 gewannen die Bayern, doch die Rot-Weißen mussten sich nicht verstecken. Vielleicht ist da noch mehr drin!?
