Roy’un ekibinin son iki bölümde yaşadığı büyük kapışma ve akabinde Risa’nın çığlıklar içerisinde Lust’a yağdırdığı kurşunlar; hepsi (all of them) Hughes içindi… Roy’un defalarca elindeki çakmağı ateşlemesi ve o karizmatik duruşu ile Lust’ı defalarca alevlere boğması; hepsi (all of them) Hughes içindi…

Rose’un üzerine yıkılan, onu ailesinden ayıran adice planın Humonculus’lardan alınan intikamıydı tüm bunlar…

Albay Roy Mustang’ın elini Lust’ın göğsüne sokup felsefe taşını aldığı sahne kesinlikle muazzamdı ve Lust’ın önce parçalara ayrılması, ardından tam öldü sanıldığında tekrardan felsefe taşı ile ortaya çıkarak kahkahalar atması da mükemmeldi. Yine de kurtulamadı.

Lust’ın ölümü Glattony’i yaslara boğacak, intikam arzusu içinde cayır cayır yakacak olsa da ölmek bilmeyen Humonculus’lardan biri eksildi… Buna değer…

Huzur içinde uyu Hughes… Her şey bitene kadar saklanmaya devam et Rose…

Sonraki bölümde büyük karşılaşma var. Ed ve babası… Her şeyin başlamasına neden olan gülümsemenin sahibinin, Ed ve Al’ın annesinin mezarı başındalar… Ed ve onun sırlarla dolu olan babası…

Az önce AGT’de yayınlanan bir habere göre Fairy Tail seiyuu’ları belli olmuş. İlk başta ilgisizce şöyle bir bakayım dedim; ama her satırda şaşkınlığım bir kat daha arttı. Öncelikle listeyi şöyle bir paylaşayım;

Natsu Dragneel: Tetsuya Kakihara (Simon – TTGL, Fujioka – Minami-ke)
Lucy Heartfilia: Aya Hirano (Haruhi Suzumiya – TMoHS, Konata Izumi – Lucky Star, Misa Amane – Death Note)
Happy: Rie Kugimiya (Shana – Shakugan no Shana, Alphonse Elric – FMA)
Gray Fullbuster: Yuuichi Nakamura (Tomoya Okazaki – Clannad, Alto Saotome – Macross F)

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagaan’dan Simon’u yani Tetsuya Kakihara’yı kadroda baş rol karakterimiz Natsu’yu seslendirirken görmek beni şaşırttı doğrusu. Tetsuya’nın sesi Natsu’ya ne kadar oturur bilemiyorum. Sonuçta o sesi Simon’da duymaya alışmıştık.

Serinin summoner’ı (gerçekten çok ilginç summonları var) Lucy’nin ise Haruhi’nin ve Misa’nın ses sanatçısı Aya Hirano tarafından seslendirilmesi gerçekten de çok oturaklı olmuş. Beklediğimden çok çok daha iyi bir ses sanatçısı seçilmiş Lucy için…

Happy’e bile özenle seçilmiş seiyuu’su, bakar mısınız? Kim tahmin ederdi ki Fairy Tail’in geveze uçan kedisini Rie Kugimiya seslendirsin? Daha önceden sesini verdiği karakterleri de gözden geçirirseniz ne demek istediğimi anlarsınız. Hatta bu seiyuu’muzun boy boy ödülleri de vardı… Happy’i hakkıyla, hatta fazlasıyla iyi seslendirecektir.

Zaten benim için fazla bir önem teşkil etmeyen Gray gibi bir karakteri bile seslendiren üzerinde düşünülmesi gereken birisi…

Ama tüm seslendirmeler içerisinde şüphesiz en bombası, bana ilk gördüğümde nida attıran seiyuu seçimi, güzeller güzeli Erza için yapılan o çarpıcı seçim oldu. Favori seiyuu’larımdan Sayaka Ohara’nın Erza gibi bir güzelliğe sesini vereceğini duyduğumda kalbimden bir kez daha vuruldum doğrusu… Erza ve o mükemmel ses… Dehşet bir ikili olacak… Erza’nın animede çıkışını kesinlikle iple çekeceğim, yer aldığı her sahneyi gözlerimde yaşlarla takip edeceğim… Sanırım Erza’ya bir kez daha vurulacağım…

Daha geçtiğimiz gün, kalbimde özel bir yeri olan Yuuko’yu seslendiren Sayaka Ohara’nın, o güzel sesin Umineko no naku koro ni’de Beatrice’yi seslendirdiğini öğrendiğimde tokat yemiş gibi olmuştum. Şimdi bu haber tokatı yumruğa çevirdi ve resmen dağıttı… Erza’yı da Sayaka’nın sesi ile izleyebilmek… Düşüncesi bile darmadağın ediyor doğrusu…

Fairy Tail kadrosundaki bayanların her birinin seslendirmesine özel ilgi beklemek gerekliydi aslında… Daha önceden bu bayanların seiyuu’larının özenle seçileceğini düşünmediğim, bunu beklemediğim için şimdi pişman oluyorum. Belki bekleseydim bu kadar çarpılmazdım ses sanatçılarını ilk gördüğümde… Acaba Fairy Tail kadrosunda sonradan boy gösterecek olan diğer güzelliklerin ses sanatçıları kimler olacak?

Şimdi gördüm ki sevgili Shana’da 2 Boyutlu Kalem‘de bu konuya çok güzel değinmiş. Okumadan geçmeyiniz…

He sighed. “Yes, actually, there is. I’m not proud of what I did to get to this point, but I have discovered a way to be nearly immortal. I don’t want to live forever, though. I just have more work to finish before I can die. I have to stop others from learning my secret.”

“What do you mean?”

“I cannot even tell you all of what I’ve done. I’ve forgotten some of it already. Some of it is so terrible I wish I could forget it. And the rest? I can’t possibly begin to explain it to you. So many people have died to keep me alive. I can’t bear that weight on my shoulders for all eternity. I’d go mad.”

“And you’re going to kill me now to accomplish what, exactly?”

“I need to find a way to banish my mistakes, so to speak. I was willing to let them run amuck in this world, but now? Now I have something I need to protect.”

“And what’s that?”

“My family.” He pulled a worn brown leather wallet out of his pocket, handing her a picture of a beautiful woman with long brown hair. Beside her was a small boy of about three years old with blonde hair and mischievous amber eyes like his father’s, and in her arms was a small sweet-faced infant in a green tunic. “My wife, Trisha, and my sons. They mean more to me than anything, make up for everything. They’re my salvation, my reason for persevering.”

“And you think killing me will protect your family, is that it?” She smiled sympathetically at him. “I think I understand now. But you shouldn’t have kidnapped me, H. That just wasn’t very nice.”

He stared at her in disbelief. “Are you mocking me?”

She grinned. “Yeah. A little.”

“My, you’re plucky.”

“I get that a lot.” Her smile faded. “You’re still going to kill me, aren’t you?”

“Yeah.”

“Ok, then. Just make it quick.”

As an Edward Elric fangirl, I was thrilled when I heard about a new FMA remake. More Edo-kun! Imagine my squeal when I watched the opening to see what looked like an adult version of His Smexy Chibiness.

I couldn’t have been more sold than I was when I began watching the series.

And yet it lost me.

I have to praise many things about it. The opening theme, for one: Again by Yui. I can tell how proud of it she and Bones are by the way they’re keeping it off Youtube. It’s disappeared from my favorites three times T.T

I appreciate the decision to remake it according to the manga. It’s more craftily told in this narrative design, if less commercially. The change did make me a little uncomfortable, but that wasn’t something I was going to hold against it.

What lost me was the shift in tone. The original FMA has a tone of Ready, Steady, Go. Positivity, power, and upbeat drive soak Ed’s and Al’s attitudes—despite the dark lessons they’ve learned. The optimistic attitude empowers the horrific past, in my opinion, boosting the emotional resonance with the characters and underlying themes of the story. Gives it awesome takeaway value. I love it.

In this one, these driving elements behind the Elric brother’s characters are more difficult to detect. Without them, I’m disappointed. My will to keep watching dwindles at a single turnoff….

I’m going to try again, though. I’ll keep you updated!

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood

As  usual there are new releases from the rising sun nation, that break our expectations and prove the commitment from the mangakas that make the stories that we love, that the case of a very famous series Fullmetal Alchemist (Hagane no Renkinjutsushi) in a awesome comeback retelling the story of the Elric brothers to please the followers of the manga series.

On the early version of the anime that was produced the fan of the manga version were shocked by the decision of taking a new story plot line (different from the manga series).

Well being honest how cool would it be to really make alchemy like this dudes, yes i know there are boundaries of equivalence but it still make want to  you clap your hands.

My first impression of the anime ,,,,,, JUST ROCKS,  well that thought last until I read the manga version were the story has a more deep plot line, for short  it is AWESOME besides the anime appears to be a just a good adaptation but not very trustful.

The new project expectations from my part is that they full fill the promise of kept the anime version story accord to the manga version. Of course many of the people that i know they don’t expect many things from the series. But let us hope that they stick with their words.

Well the released episodes of the second version so far are pretty good. Just with some little mistakes like skip the mine issue and include a ice alchemist that is nowhere to find this guy on the manga version, well at least there are little changes.

Yes i know like they are starting again making their own new version, but we had to admit that this matters do not change the sequence of the original story and seing King Bradley kicking ass on the first episode is just great, too bad for the ice alchemist. I will miss the mine part it was kind of funny but hey they are just humans or maybe homonculus hehe.

Who the hell,,,, ah yeah random state alchemist hehe.You will be fine hide from Mustang and go to that alley.

The anime producer of the series want more fan rate , well remember the holy law that they present to us toukan koukan (Equivalent trade), just give us a good quality respecting the story plot line.

     So, I’ve said before that Fullmetal Alchemist is basically the best manga ever.  Well, its popularity, as well as the popularity of the original anime, has prompted a new anime series based on the manga, titled Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.  It features all the old voice actors returning to their roles.  So how does it begin?  With filler.  That’s right.  The first episode is some bulls*** about an ice alchemist.  Then, we have filler as a part of the Father Cornello story.  It’s never a good sign that you add filler so early on.  Then, there’s the animation.  The coloring isn’t as bright, the lines aren’t as sharp, and it just looks like the creators got lazy on the budget because they expected that the popularity of the franchise alone would carry this series into instant fame.

     Then, there’s the Japanese seiyuu.  Now, ask any “true fan” of anime, and he/she will tell you that the Japanese seiyuu are always infinitely better than American voice actors, and that people who watch the American dubbing aren’t true fans.  That’s just stupid.  I pick and choose depending on which I think sounds better.  For example, the English dub of Yu Yu Hakusho was absolutely superb, and most people agree that it was better than the original.  Most people will say that the Japanese seiyuu of FMA are better.  I don’t agree.  That’s not to say that Paku Romi is a bad seiyuu.  But she sounds way too… girly to be Edward Elric.  Ed is a really masculine character, despite his age, and Romi’s voice really doesn’t fit.  It was great for Loran Cehack in Turn A Gundam, who was really ambiguous.  But not here.  Vic Mignogna is SO perfect for Ed, and I can’t wait for this show to be dubbed so I can hear his work again.

     Alphonse Elric is likewise extremely girly sounding.  Aaron Dismuke, the American voice actor, WAS ACTUALLY 12 when he did the role.  He isn’t now, but he was SO good!  Kugimiya Rie sounds like a girl trying to be a boy, rather than an actual boy.  Roy Mustang occasionally sounds effeminate, which I disapprove of, and both Winry Rockbell and Riza Hawkeye sound too womanly.  They’re both tough women, and they should have voices to reflect that!  Lastly, the music is meh.  The opening theme song makes me miss Ready Steady Go by L’Arc-en-Ciel so much.  Most people won’t agree with this review.  I guarantee it.  But this is my honest opinion.  It’s still good, but it should be a lot better.  And I’m just not convinced by the Japanese seiyuu.

So we’re at episode 3 and we’ve finally made it to Lior and despite the fact its been done before, I still found myself enjoying it. I mean what’s to hate? Its a great story, its well acted and still well animated. They really don’t give you much to complain about.

Its basically the same as before, with Ed having to lay the smackdown on Cornello and doing so with gusto and finding out that Cornello’s Philosophers Stone was fake.

As before this show melds the humor and the angst beautifully I really enjoy when it slips into the crazy. Lust mentions ‘Father’ so if we weren’t already sure that this was going to take the route of the manga, we get a nice bit of confirmation there
