Lunedi este un tânăr ce locuieşte împreună cu mătuşa şi unchiul în Elveţia la începutul anului 1930. Într-o zi pe când cutreiera Alpii, Lunedi găseşte o mică fetiţă care este unica supravieţuitoare a prăbuşirii unui avion,pierzându-şi memoria.Este numită Jeudi de către unchiul lui Lunedi şi amândoi sunt crescuţi împreună. Pe măsură ce cresc,între Jeudi şi Lunedi se formează o prietenie profundă. După câţiva ani, Jeudi doreşte să-şi descopere trecutul.Singurul indiciu este un cântec pe care îl aude constant în mintea ei, un cântec numit Alpine Rose.
