Just a few snaps of the Korpus gang working at the Crazy AITS convention. The Crazy AIT Show was held at Hilton on the Park last weekend.

The convention was over 3 days, Friday 2nd November to Sunday 4th November 2012.

The Korpus crew tattooed some fantastic designs over the 3 days for the convention.

The Convention is a great way for all Melburnians to get a glimpse of some of the world best tattooers in action. Rites of Passage celebrates the art of tattoo, music, visual art and environmental awareness. This is the second year the Convention was held at the Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton Gardens.

All of us at Korpus had a great time. We really appreciate the many wonderful complements from those who attended, both tattooers and the public. Thanks for the support.

We hope you all enjoyed the convention as much as we did. A big thanks to all of the organisers for another great year.

Both Alvaro and Teniele worked on several tattoos over the 3 days of the Expo. The following images include some of the Tattoo´s Teniele and Alvaro were working on.

Mick was working as part of the Inkjecta Booth at the Expo. Micks award entry for his skull hand design has been included in the following photos.

A wonderful time was had by everyone. It was a really fun weekend. A very large amount of sleep was required to recover. We cant wait to do it all again next year! Hope we will see you there.

In January we were delighted to receive a visit from traveling Artists Seth-DEM189, and Does & Nash from LoveLetters Crew. Does was in Melbourne for 3 weeks as part of Melbourne’s Underground. Traveling with him was fellow Loveletters crew member Nash.

Established in 2006 in the Southern Holland. The LoveLetters Crew is an International collective of eleven European writers. Starting out with 4 members (Nash, Tumki, Chas and Does) Loveletters has since expanded to include writers from Germany, Netherlands, France and Switzerland.

Originally from Jerez in Southern Spain. Alvaro spent many years working in cities all over the country. Spending his time between Barcelona, Ibiza, Malaga, Cadiz and Jerez.

After traveling the world tattooing under the name ´Sin Rumbo´. He decided he needed another challenge and made the move to Australia.

Previously working at Eternal Instinct Tattoo. Alvaro joined the Korpus team in November last year.

Alvaro specialises in custom design in a variety of different styles. He enjoys working with Japanese, Traditional styles, Geometric and Patternwork.

Alvaro has been living and working in Melbourne for the last 2 years. He speaks Spanish and English.

We are back! And its a brand new year!

A big thanks to everyone for following………I have so much to catch up on. I must give my apologies for being absent for so many weeks.

At the end of last year Korpus welcomed a new Tattoo Artist into the family. Spanish-born Alvaro Flores Mejias from Jerez in Southern Spain!

Alvaro specialises in various styles including, Japanese Geometric style designs and Patternwork. Examples of Alvaro´s  work is already available to view on our website http://www.korpus.com.au and on the Korpus Tattoo facebook page. More on our newest member in future posts.

Everyone has been really busy during the Christmas break. Painting and drawing in between spending some time with family and friends. We hope you enjoy some of the fantastic new artwork everyone is creating.
