• Direttamente dal browser (necessario Java abilitato)
• Nel proprio player multimediale (in grado di scaricare streaming online)

Per ascoltare Kohina direttamente dal browser basta cliccare su questo link, dopo essersi accertati di avere Java abilitato.

Per ascoltare lo stream riprodotto dal proprio player multimediale (Amarok, Exaile, Rhythmbox, Windows Media Player,…) basta scaricare uno degli stream presenti nel sito di Kohina (scegliete fra quelli a 64bit se la vostra connessione è lenta, uno degli gli altri altrimenti) e aprire il file playlist .m3u scaricato con il proprio player.

Se doveste avere problemi non esitate a commentare, e non mi resta che augurarvi buon ascolto!

Maniac Mansion

The new Amarok 2.2.1 is great. Editing metadata finally seems not to disturb Amarok’s stability and doesn’t make the collection scanner choke and eat endless amounts of memory. And finally I can use it as the coolest “ambient” music player again: Party mode is back. Err, okay it was back before – BUT: it finally works. Not to forget to mention its performance has vastly improved. To conclude these words: Yeah, it’s finally back on my desktop. Thank you, dear Amarok team. Great job!

But of course my increased usage puts the spot on all the bad things I start to discover. It’s my contribution to an ongoing rant on Amarok. There are some things I hate. And I really hate them. At least there seems to be no more show-stoppers now (or I didn’t discover them yet). Here is what I hate:

The Redesign of the Toolbar

That is really annoying. What did you guys think when you moved the playlist buttons to the middle? This makes in no way sense to me, because:

• I have my Amarok OSD in the top center of the screen – exactly where the buttons are. Changing the track covers the buttons. I fixed this by changing to the slim toolbar but I miss the big buttons then (which I hated when they first came up btw).
  
• It is waste of screen real estate. Come on? We are all going to have widescreens. And what do you guys do? You make a redesign targetted to good old 4:3 times: Less width, more height. The now-ultra-long progress bar looks ugly. The new layout has no place for important and/or useful buttons and info texts which could’ve been put there otherwise. In the end it’s totally counter-productive to the 3-column widescreen layout of Amarok. Please change that.
  

Strange Bugs

Many new bugs have been introduced, some old annoying bugs still remain:

• You cannot remove track numbers from the metadata. Once set, they will always remain there. Trying to remove them and tabbing to the next field simply make the numbers reappear. Clicking on “save” while still in the field also doesn’t help – it’s just ignored and reset to the previous value. Does nobody use the metadata editor that it is treated such poorly?
• Using the metadata editor often results in Amarok to freeze for some seconds (the sound however continues to play, so it’s not that annoying).
• The playlist still has strange ideas of what should be grouped together and what not – most often when you remove a track from the playlist.
• ALL MY SONGS ARE ZERO SECONDS LONG?! No, I can’t believe that! BTW: The progress bar shows interesting timing information because of that. I first thought this was one of the hard-to-understand inventions of the developers before I realized that it is directly connected to the zero-second long tracks. See the above screenshots.
• Removing the current played track from the playlist makes Amarok jump to the start of the playlist instead of stepping to the “next” song. It’s annoying. I step into that pitfall over and over again (removing a track and skipping to next song afterwards). Argh!
• I’m pretty clueless about how the replay-gain feature works. Where’s the automatic gain scanner and volume adjustment I so much loved in Amarok 1.4? I have the suspicion that this setting simply does nothing. My collection has replay-gain tags but songs come out of my speakers at surprisingly (and disturbing) different volume levels. I consider that non-working and thus a bug.

Final Words

You lucky guys: I’m still hoping. No wrong… I’ve got hope again. Seems you are finally concentrating on fixing bugs instead of inventing strange new features. Hmm, oh well – wrong again. Your new toolbar is a strange new invention. At least you fixed some annoying bugs. Yeah, probably in the end, perhaps, maybe you rock… Keen on the next release.

…I finally found a lyrics display program, that fits my needs. As always, I am looking for some specific features I want definitely to be implemented. In this case, I required realtime scrolling with the text (so it displays just the line that gets spoken on the song right now), support for Amarok 1.4 and the ability to act as OSD (on screen display). Last but not least I wanted to get the lyrics downloaded automatically from the intertubes. Well, after spending too much time trying out all the lyrics programs I could find – twice – I decided to stick with osd-lyrics. It has a few bugs though, but it basically does what I want it to

Volkswagen será el proveedor oficial del raid más duro del mundo, el Dakar. Suministrará 35 Amorok para la organización y prensa. Su venta está prevista para después de la prueba sudamericana.

El nuevo pick-up de Volkswagen, el Amarok, será el vehículo utilizado por la organización del Dakar para la asistencia. La marca alemana suministrará 20 unidades para este fin y 15 más para prensa y traslados. También será el medio de transporte y apoyo del equipo de Volkswagen Motorsport.

“Estamos encantados de poder usar el Volkswagen Amarok como Vehículo de Asistencia porque el Rally Dakar exige los más altos niveles de perfección técnica, fiabilidad y resistencia, tanto de nuestros Race Touareg como de los vehículos de asistencia”, explica Kris Nissen, Director de Volkswagen Motorsport.

Antes de ponerlo a la venta, Volkswagen mostrará las cualidades del Amorok en los 9.000 km que componen el raid entre Argentina y Chile. Será lanzado al mercado en Sudamérica y, posteriormente, en Europa.

O lançamento oficial da picape média Amarok, da Volkswagen, será atrasado. A chegada da novidade ao mercado aconteceria na Argentina, no dia 15 de dezembro. No entanto, o modelo deve ser apresentado somente no primeiro trimestre do ano que vem, mesma época anteriormente prevista para sua chegada ao Brasil.

A confirmação do atraso veio no site oficial do modelo na Argentina, o Laboratório Amarok, Antes havia um espaço onde ficava a data de chegada da picape – e que agora foi desativado. O motivo do atraso seria a dificuldade que a marca está tendo na entrega dos veículos aos concessionários. Além disso, as linhas de produção precisam ser ajustadas para atender a vários mercados (Europa, Oceania, África e América Latina), para onde a picape argentina será exportada.

Com isso, a participação da picape como carro de apoio no Rally Dakar, a partir de 1º de janeiro, mostrará antecipadamente as formas da Amarok. Por conta do atraso, também é possível que ela demore um pouco a chegar ao Brasil.

I’ve been using an 8 GB Creative Zen player now for about a year, and in general, I’m very happy. It was about 25% cheaper than a comparable iPod, it can do more stuff, and it has ended up being very durable and easy-to-use.

Another thing that I initially liked about the Zen was how well it worked with Ubuntu Linux 8.04. From Amarok, I could add and manage files as easily as I could with my old iPod.

Then I updated my OS to use Ubuntu 9.04. The Zen would mount automatically when you plugged it in, but I couldn’t access it using any music player such as Amarok, RhythmBox, or Banshee. And if I could access the player using one of those apps, the connection was always very flaky. I might be able to move one or two songs, but eventually, something would crash and I would have to start over again.

This thread on the Ubuntu forums shows that many other Zen users were having the same problem:

The basic advice was to unmount the Zen after it was automatically mounted, and then access it using your favorite music player. This only worked for me sporadically at first. And if that wasn’t weird enough, the Amarok maintainers decided to do the following:

• Completely change the Amarok GUI interface
• Completely change the way you copy music to an MP3 player.

I figured almost everything out eventually, so I thought I would share it here.

1. First, plug your Zen into your computer. You should now see a Zen icon on your desktop.
   • 
2. Next, right-click on that icon and choose the Unmount Volume option. This may seem counter-intuitive, but it’s what you need to do.
3. Next, open Amarok. If you don’t see the Amarok window after a minute, then look for the howling wolf icon in your task tray. You will need to right-click on it and choose Restore.
   • Note: This process may work with other music players, but I haven’t tested it.
4. After Amarok opens, you should see the following items in Amarok:
   1. An MP3 player icon with a red X and green + next to it.
      • 
   2. Your Zen listed on the left-hand side of the screen.
      • 
   3. If you don’t see it at first, then make sure that you have clicked on the Collection button on the left-hand side of the screen.
   4. Also, If you see the MP3 player icon but your player isn’t listed on the left-hand side of the screen, then click on the green + button.

Now you can copy individual songs from your Local Collection by right-clicking on a song or album and choosing Copy To Collection -> Creative Zen. That should do it. I’ve had pretty good luck with this system as long as I didn’t try to move over 6 albums’ worth of MP3’s at once.

And here are some of the differences that you need to get used to when using the 2.x version of Amarok:

• You can no longer copy playlists over to your Zen. This is a big disappointment to me, and I can’t figure out why the Amarok maintainers took this functionality away.
• You can no longer “queue” up MP3’s that you want to copy to your Zen and then copy them all over at once. Again, another great feature that was taken away for some mysterious reason.
• Album covers are no longer copied to your Zen. This isn’t a huge disappointment, but it was always a nice feature of the pre-2.x version of Amarok.

In the end, I’m very appreciative that Canonical, the Gnome group, and the Amarok maintainers provide such excellent software that makes my life so much more enjoyable. And I’m glad that I finally figured out a somewhat-reliable process for copying MP3’s from my hard drive to my Zen.

It’s actually working.

Seriously, this is the first time since I don’t know when I’ve been able to use Amarok. There was one heart stopping moment at 57% when it was scanning my collection, but unlike 2.2.0 it simply paused, then went on to scan the reminder.

I’ve been able to throw the playlist and context menu around to get something I can live with, the playlist is sorted more or less to my liking,…I still think it’s overly complicated, and somehow it thinks that “The very best of 2 Unlimited” is the art of every album ever made but it’s working.

Bonus points, because it’s displays/sorts my collection in a different way, I’m playing music I haven’t heard in ages.

Amarok 2.2.1

Cumpliendo con el calendario de publicar una versión cada 6 semanas, el equipo de Amarok, publicó ayer la versión 2.2.1, con nombre “Weightless”. En ArchLinux ya está en los repositorios desde ayer. Esta versión se centra en la corrección de bugs, aunque alguna que otra novedad si que trae, como por ejemplo, el soporte para Samba. Ahora es posible añadir a la lista de reproducción usando este protocolo.

+ Amarok 2.2.1 “Weightless”

Da qualche giorno è disponibile per il download (è possibile scegliere tra le diverse tipologie la più adatta al proprio sistema ed alle proprie esigenze, io ho scaricato il Live CD KDE4) la nuova release di OpenSUSE, la 11.2. Potete leggere l’annuncio ufficiale di rilascio, le caratteristiche salienti di questa nuova release. E’ disponibile un set di screenshot che vi accompagnerà alla scoperta ed ai primi approcci con questa bella distribuzione linux.

OpenSUSE forse è stata la prima distribuzione GNU Linux veramente “amichevole”, in grado di configurare tutto a “colpi” di click e, soprattutto, la migliore quanto a riconoscimento hardware. Rimane tuttora tra le più adatte a chi si avvicina a GNU Linux per la prima volta.

L’ambiente desktop è KDE 4.3.1 ed il kernel è 2.6.31.5-0.1-default.

OpenSUSE non include driver proprietari e nemmeno i principali codecs audio e video che dovranno perciò essere installati in seguito.

Avviando da CD, vengono riconosciute e montate le eventuali partizioni windows presenti (queste ed altre informazioni sul sistema in uso sono accessibili semplicemente cliccando su My Computer) sulle quali è possibile scrivere.

Il filmato che vi propongo non è indicativo del reale tempo di avvio, perché testato su macchina virtuale e poi editato per tagliare i “tempi morti”, è però utile per dare una breve rassegna dei software inclusi con un occhio di riguardo a quelli di uso più comune:

Interessante la scelta di proporre Marble.

Da quanto vi ho appena descritto, è chiaro che un intervento, seppur minimo, dell’utente è richiesto perché il sistema si adatti alle nostre esigenze.

Luego de instalar Amarok o aTunes (u otro reproductor que utilice XINE) puede ocurrir que no podamos reproducir archivos MP3s. En ocasiones el reproductor nos señalará que falta un codec, pero, en otras, simplemente no responderá al intentar reproducir algún archivo.

La solución: Instalar el codec “libxine1-ffmpeg” que se encuentra en los repositorios de Ubuntu.

¿Cómo hacerlo?
1. Desde synaptics
2. Desde el terminal, pegando la siguiente cadena:  sudo apt-get install libxine1-ffmpeg

No meu review sobre o novo Kubuntu 9.10, comentei sobre as novidades do Amarok, que são tantas que com certeza merecem um post exclusivo para apresentar a nova versão do player.

O Amarok sempre foi uma das pedras preciosas do KDE e do GNU/Linux. Nenhum outro player consegue igualar o Amarok na hora de organizar e reproduzir áudio. Porém, desde que passou para a nova versão 2.x, o player passou a apresentar uma série de bugs irritantes, especialmente ao indexar a coleção, que é justamente o ponto principal do player. Felizmente, a versão 2.2 representa o fim desses problemas. A coleção é indexada tão bem quanto antes e o player voltou a ser estável como uma rocha.

O novo Amarok finalmente ultrapassou as funcionalidades da versão 1.4. A 2.2 acrescentou duas capacidades incríveis ao melhor player do mundo: o Amarok mostra automaticamente videoclipes do Youtube da mesma banda que você está escutando, sendo possível reproduzi-los direto no Amarok e mostra um slideshow da banda com fotos do Flickr.

O miniaplicativo da Wikipédia voltou a ser como no Amarok 1.4, permitindo navegar na Wikipédia dentro do próprio player e selecionar se você deseja ver a página do artista, do álbum ou da música.

O gerenciador de capas está mais eficiente. Ao invés da Amazon, ele agora busca as capas dos álbuns no Last.FM, o que melhorou muito a taxa de acerto. A integração com o Last.FM está muito boa, com botões para adicionar a faixa diretamente aos favoritos.

As listas dinâmicas continuam por ali, permitindo deixar o Amarok selecionar faixas de acordo com as regras que você definir. É bem fácil definir um artista e mandar o Amarok tocar tudo que for parecido . Voltou a ser possível definir um banco de dados MySQL externo para o Amarok, o que costuma ser útil para pessoas com coleções realmente grandes, que fiquem lentas no banco SQLite do Amarok.

A interface é mais personalizável, apresentando o comportamento padrão do programas do KDE 4.  Basta clicar com o botão direito na barra superior e desmarcar a opção “Travar Layout” para poder arrastas  vontade as barras e painéis. É possível inclusive deixar ele com o visual do Amarok antigo, apesar do novo layout ser bem mais prático.

A playlist pode ser organizada em diversos subníveis, basta clicar no último ícone abaixo da playlist. Também é possível fazer isso clicando na parte de cima da lista. É possível ligar ou desligar o agrupamento, exibir controles de reprodução na faixa tocada, alterar a forma de agrupamento, etc.

A única coisa que falta é o gerenciador de fila do 1.4, que permitia reorganizar a fila de reprodução. A função de fila atual se resume à incluir/excluir faixas da fila.

Finalizando, o novo Amarok está sensacional: estável, cheio de novas funções e belíssimo. O Amarok 1.4 pode finalmente descansar e dar lugar ao seu sucessor, que é um player realmente superior. Vale conferir.

E’ da qualche giorno disponibile la nuova release di Mandriva, una tra le distribuzioni GNU/Linux più user-friendly. Potete visitare i siti dell’annuncio ufficiale di rilascio e di un breve tour che illustra le caratteristiche salienti di questa versione. Il sito per il download è questo, la versione di riferimento è la One.

Preferisco questa versione in quanto in un solo CD è contenuto tutto il necessario (eventuali altri software possono essere scaricati in un secondo momento dopo l’installazione) e si ha la possibilità di testare il sistema operativo. Punto di forza della One sono i driver inclusi nella distribuzione, infatti già in versione live viene riconosciuta la scheda grafica e data la possibilità all’utente di abilitare gli effetti desktop, quali ad esempio il cubo 3D, le finestre “gommose” ed altri effetti speciali. Le partizioni windows vengono riconosciute e montate in automatico, anche se ciò potrebbe essere potenzialmente pericoloso per un utente inesperto.

L’ambiente desktop è KDE 4.3.2 ed il kernel è 2.6.31.5-desktop586-1mnb.

Con Mandriva 2010.0 possiamo fin da subito ascoltare la nostra musica e vedere i nostri filmati in quanto i codecs sono già inclusi (oltre ai su citati driver per la scheda grafica), insomma  si è “produttivi” da subito (caratteristica che l’ha resa sempre tra le più apprezzate soprattutto dai newbie),  anche se a costo di una certa pesantezza che si fa sentire non solo nel test su macchina virtuale, il che rende questa distribuzione certamente non tra le più veloci.

OSD Lyrics è un nuovo progetto in launchpad che permette la visualizzazione del testo della canzone ascoltata direttamente nella scrivania, una specie di karaoke che fa scorrere il testo man mano che il brano musicale viene eseguito

Per l’installazione basta aggiungere i repository launchpad del progetto, quindi eseguiamo in un terminale il comando:

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

(su kubuntu sostituite gedit con kate) e nella finestra di testo che si apre aggiungiamo alla fine i repository:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/osd-lyrics/ppa/ubuntu karmic main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/osd-lyrics/ppa/ubuntu karmic main

salvate il documento e sempre al terminale aggiungiamo la key pgp per l’accesso:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:osd-lyrics/ppa

lasciamo lavorare il terminale e una volta importata la chiave aggiorniamo il sistema e installiamo il programma:

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install osdlyrics

quando ha finito il terminale chiudiamolo.

Il programma si trova su Applicazioni>>Audio e Video e una volta lanciato si posiziona sulla  tray ed è possibile configurarlo in vari modi. Per il momento dispone di due motori di ricerca canzoni(sogou e quianquian) ma altri ne verranno implementati nel futuro e supporta i seguenty player:

Banshee

Audacious

Exaile

Rhythmbox

Eu uso o Ubuntu desde a versão 8.04, sendo que essa ainda é a mesma instalação. Eu atualizei o sistema do 8.04 para o 8.10, do 8.10 para o 9.04 e do 9.04 para o Karmic. Vou postar agora minhas impressões da nova distro.

Atualização

O processo foi tranquilo, apesar de ter demorado. Eu tenho muitos programas, uma pancada de jogos e o update foi 5GB (culpa de Nexuiz, Sauerbraten e companhia). Após o update, ocorreu algo no mínimo curioso: foi instalada a interface do Ubuntu Netbook Remix! Tudo bem que meu note tem tela de 12′, mas chamar de netbook é sacanagem. Nada que remover o pacote ubuntu-netbook-remix-desktop não resolvesse.

O novo Ubuntu

A primeira impressão veio no boot: a nova tela de splash é muito bonita, e a tela de carregamento do X também é de muito bom gosto, assim como o tema do GDM. A má notícia é que na nova versão parece que não dá para trocar o tema do GDM.

O tema Human foi redesenhado, sendo mais marrom e menos laranja . O novo tema de ícones é muito mais bonito que o anterior, ponto para a Canonical.

O que chamou atenção é que o sistema está bem mais rápido. O Nautilus abre mais rápido, os programas abrem mais rápidos, o desempenho realmente é melhor e o sistema responde muito bem. A maior melhoria foi no OpenOffice, agora na versão 3.1. O carregamento do OO.org está muito mais rápido mesmo e a nova versão ainda é bem mais compatível com os arquivos do MS Office 2007 (todos os documentos do Word e Powerpoint 2007 que abri vieram perfeitos ou com, no máximo, algumas coisinha fora do lugar, mas tudo legível).

O mixer foi alterado, usando agora o mixer do Pulseaudio. A vantagem é que o novo mixer é bem simples, sem todos aqueles canais. Uma das minha eternas críticas sempre foi a complexidade dos mixers dos sistemas operacionais, mas esse é bem simples: entrada e saída. Precisa de mais?

Central de Programas do Ubuntu

Uma das maiores novidades. O “Adicionar/ Remover” foi substituído pela nova central de programas. A separação em categorias é bem mais clara. Ao navegar pelos programas, os softwares já  instalados são marcados com um sinalzinho verde (achei que poderia ser algo mais visível). Ao clicar em um programa, ele abre uma tela com informações, um link para o site do desenvolvedor e um screenshot (finalmente!). Ao instalar ou remover um software, ainda é possível navegar e realizar outras operações de adição/remoção de programas, sendo que ele gerencia a fila de tudo.

Ubuntu One

O Karmic inclui o Ubuntu One, o serviço de computação em nuvem da Canonical. Com ele, você tem 2GB de espaço gratuitos (50GB pagos) para utilizar. Ainda é possível sincronizar as notas do Tomboy, favoritos do Firefox e contatos do Evolution. O One cria uma pasta “Ubuntu One” na sua home e tudo que você mover para lá será enviado para o One e tudo que você colocar lá pela interface web também aparecerá no seu PC.

A interface web é simples, mas permite ver, adicionar e editar contatos e notas. Um serviço realmente útil.

O novo Kubuntu

Eu também possuo o KDE em minha máquina, então farei um review do Kubuntu também. A principal mudança é a atualização do KDE da versão 4.2 para a 4.3. A única coisa a dizer é que o novo KDE 4 está sensacional, absolutamente espetacular. O tema é o mais bonito que já vi em qualquer SO. O Kwin está bem mais leve e seus efeitos 3D já estão tão leves quanto os do Compiz (e o Kwin não tem os bugs do Compiz para jogos em tela cheia). O KDE está muito mais rápido e o Kubuntu inclui um novo Network Manager (bem melhor que o anterior).

O Dolphin agora pode reproduzir arquivos de áudio e vídeo diretamente (!) e o K3B já está em QT4. O Amarok passou por várias melhorias e, finalmente, passou o nível do 1.4 (é, está melhor que ele). O player agora reproduz clipes do Youtube e mostra slideshows do Flickr. As alterações foram tanta que não vou nem tentar explicar agora e vou deixar o assunto Amarok 2.2 para o próximo post.

O KDE 4 chegou lá. Já dá para esquecer o saudoso KDE 3.5, pois o 4 já iguala seus recursos, adiciona coisas novas e possui um visual inigualável.

Com isso, termino o review do Karmic. Para quem ainda não está testando, vale a pena. O Ubuntu está cada vez melhor e a Canonical aprimora cada vez mais sua distro. Vale conferir.

In modo simile anche per Xubuntu potete leggere l’annuncio, visualizzare un breve tour grafico e quindi passare al download.

Su Kubuntu in versione live vengono riconosciute e montate le eventuali partizioni windows presenti, così fin da subito si ha la possibilità di aprire i propri file per testare le applicazioni presenti in questa distribuzione, non invece su Xubuntu.

La scelta di Kubuntu è adatta all’utente che sa quello che fa, quella di Xubuntu è invece adatta all’utente che preferisce non correre il rischio di rovinare il file system preesistente sul pc.

Dopo una rapida “esplorazione” ci si renderà conto che non è possibile visualizzare correttamente siti con contenuto flash, come ad esempio YouTube, e nemmeno potersi godere i propri file musicali ed i propri filmati.

Karmic Koala infatti non include i principali codecs audio e video (nemmeno flash) e nemmeno driver proprietari, quali ad esempio quelli della scheda video.

Ciò potrebbe far scoraggiare l’utente che sia avvicina per la prima volta al mondo GNU/Linux, ma occorre sottolineare che bastano pochi interventi perché Karmic Koala diventi perfettamente “usabile”.

I filmati che vi propongo servono soltanto a mostrare l’impatto visivo di queste due distribuzioni e fare una carrellata dei principali software che mettono fin da subito a disposizione.

Le durate dei filmati non corrispondono a quelle reali, infatti prima di postarli ho preferito cancellare i “tempi morti” di durata eccessiva, anche perché per la registrazione mi sono servito di macchine virtuali che non emulano a dovere le caratteristiche hardware dei pc in circolazione.

Kubuntu

Kubuntu e Xubuntu sono senza dubbio delle ottime distribuzioni (adatte soprattutto a chi proviene da windows) e le consiglio caldamente. Da quanto vi ho appena descritto, è chiaro che un intervento, seppur minimo, dell’utente è richiesto perché il sistema si adatti alle nostre esigenze.

A Amarok já começou a ser produzida na planta de Pacheco, Argentina, e chegará à terra do tango ainda este ano. No primeiro trimestre do ano que vem, o modelo começa a ser vendido no Brasil. O projeto da picape custou US$ 340 milhões, tendo como rivais a Nissan Frontier e a Toyota Hilux.

Inicialmente, a Amarok será vendida somente com motor a diesel, de 180 cv e tração integral, e cabine dupla. Posteriormente, ganhará versões de cabine simples, tração traseira e motor bicombustível. Todas as unidades terão airbag duplo, freios antitravamento (ABS) e controle de estabilidade (ESP).

لذلك، لتنزيل codecs افتح تيرمنال وأكتب الأمر

sudo apt-get install libxine1-ffmpeg

من المهم هنا أن أذكر أنه قد تواجه رسالة خطأ ملخصها عدم القدرة على التنزيل (أعتذر لأني نسيت نسخ فحواها)، عندها قم فقط بكتابة الأمر

sudo apt-get update

ثم أعد كتابة الأمر الأول

Unfortunately the default package repositories for Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala only provide access to packages for Amarok 2. While Amarok 2 of course is a great media player, I actually like Amarok 1.4 much better. Luckily Bogdan Butnaru gives you the chance to download Amarok 1.4 through his very own deb-repository.

So I tried to add Bogdan’s repository to my sources list, but I could not verify Bogdan’s public key to actually access his packages. Since I did not get that to work no matter what I tried, I had to work around that. Here is what I did:

1. Download all debs for the correct architecture (in my case i386) from http://ppa.launchpad.net/bogdanb/amarok14/ubuntu/pool/main/a/amarok
2. Open a terminal session and install each package with sudo dpkg -i, e.g. sudo dpkg -i amarok14-common_1.4.10-0ubuntu3~ppa4_all.deb. This will install the packages even if the dependencies are not satisfied.
3. Satisfy all dependencies and configure the newly installed packages by issuing sudo apt-get install -f

E voila: We have a working installation of Amarok 1.4. Nice. And thank you Mr Butnaru

Berlin, 19 November 2009 - Pabrikan otomotif asal Jerman, Volkswagen (VW) menyediakan 35 varian pick up kabin ganda produksinya, yaitu VW Amarok sebagai mobil resmi yang digunakan di gelaran Reli Dakar 2010 mendatang. Dari jumlah itu, 20 unit untuk panitia dan 15 unit untuk kalangan media yang meliput hajatan tersebut.

Reli ini akan digelar di Amerika Selatan pada 1- 17 Januari 2010 mendatang. Titik pemberangkatan peserta di Argentina, kemudian melintasi Chili dan berakhir di Argentina. Total jarak yang ditempuh dalam reli ini mencapai 5.592 mil atau 9.000 kilometer

“Kami senang (gelaran Reli Dakar) menggunakan Volkswagen Amarok sebagai kendaraan pendukung,” tutur Kris Nissen, Direktur Motorsport Volkswagen dalam siaran pers Volkswagen seperti dikutip worlcarfans, Rabu (18/11).

“Sebab Reli Dakar membutuhkan kendaraan pendukung yang memiliki kesempurnaan teknologi tinggi, ketangguhan serta kecepatan. Amarok merupakan kendaraan yang sangat tepat bagi tim kami,” tandas Nissen.

Sebelumnya, VW Argentina menyebut, kendaraan jenis truk ringan itu akan diproduksi akhir 2009 ini di Pacheco, pabrik VW yang terletak di luar Buenos-Aires, Argentina. Untuk proyek ini, VW menggelontorkan dana tak kurang dari US$ 340 juta atau sekitar Rp 3,2 triliun.

Disebutkan, VW akan mengekspor kendaraan itu pada kuartal pertama 2010. Produksi pertama akan dipasarkan di Eropa, Afrika, serta Australia selain Amerika Selatan. Pasar pertama yang dibidik adalah Amerika Selatan di awal tahun.

Kemudian Amerika Tengah pada musim semi 2010, setelah itu Eropa dan Rusia pada musim panas sebelum merambah pasar Australia dan Afrika.

Amarok akan ditawarkan dalam dua versi , yaitu diesel TDI common rail dan mesin bensin direct injection. Namun hingga kini, VW belum memberikan rincian tentang kapasitas mesin maupun berapa varian pick up kabin ganda itu dibanderol.
