Here’s some more phonk for ya. Stuntin’ straight out of Houston, Texas comes the 19 year old OG (Original Goddess) Amber London. As an unsigned artist of SpaceGhostPurpp’s Raider Klan, London drops the music video for her single “Servin’ Fiendz”, produced by DJ Smokey himself which will be off her upcoming mixtape, “Tru 2 tha Phonk”. It’s visuals can only be described as a grimy optic; true to the underground rap scene that her affiliation with Raider Klan has helped inspire. She’s got a unique appeal; whatever notion goes with “female MC’s” stops with her. The songstress has a laid back delivery in every punchline and rhyme. It goes along perfectly with the music video and it’s her authentic, cold-hearted, lyrics that separate Amber London from the rest of the hip-hop community.

Gangsta Boo feat Amber London from the Raider Klan produced by Eric Dingus

It was a moody vibe this week folks. We rolled back the scroll of time, we sat on the carpet of the past, we mimicked our elders. It was 1994, it was 1968, it was 2013 simultaneously. We entertained the notion that love is a worthwhile endeavor (and not, ahem, a booby trap) while maintaining a bare minimum amount of raunch BECAUSE WE HAVE STANDARDS PEOPLE. We discussed the morality of friendship, the irrelevance of newness, the double standard in male-female relations, and sent across the airwaves the age old hetero-female anguished call “Where my niggas with the big dicks?”, which hopefully reached all the way to alien receptors.
