PEACHES FIRST CONFRONTATION

Got the call I’ve been waiting for! Joel finally got to take “Peaches” Jason Rosenberg out for his first confrontation! According to the producers, the stake out occurred right in front of a police station on the south side of Chicago. The producers (Idris Akinbiyi and Robert Mcewen) along with the Hitter and Jason waited in their squad car in back of the clients family. We’ll call him “Mr. Smith” because his court case is still ongoing. Mr. Smith’s ex wife was supposed to drop off their 3 year old daughter in his custody. However lately, she hasn’t been doing that at all! She’s been doing everything in her power to keep the father out of child’s life. Mr. Smith has been growing increasingly frustrated at this current dilemma . AMWD was at the helm and ready to get to the bottom of this goofy situation. According to Idris, the AMWD team waited for hours in the cold in front of the police station from 7 to 9 pm. Toward the end, the team had to call off the bust to regroup for another day. The producers gave Jason Rosenberg many praise saying he keep it professional and was able to hold a debriefing all on his own. We only hope Jason will keep his cool as he did when he actually has to confront a dead beat.

I tuned into the Jason Rosenberg Show last week and got an ear full from his AMWD segment. A man had called in and was complaining about the tough time he was having raising a child with a single mother that wasn’t his. The poor guy lives in California (yeah, I know. Sucks huh?). This poor man had shacked up with this mother of a four year old who’s father was basically M.I.A. Child support located the dead beat only to find that he was a complete loser and wasn’t making any attainable income. So what do these geniuses in the legal system do? They go after the new boy friend who is currently plugging the single mom! I think that’s total B.S!! The dude stuck around because he loved the mother and accepted and enjoyed playing with the child (THAT’S NOT HIS). So how does the universe repay him? They bill him!!! Outrageous! The court system begun to suck his wages at work. The obviously angry step dad now has to work three jobs to feed himself. My question is where is the justice in the world when it comes down to child support. Why is it that in this day and age a man can still get stiffed when the child isn’t his with child support? The disgruntled male called in to speak with Jason to tell him how the child support has basically put a damper on his relationship with the single mother. He wishes he never meet her at all! He goes back to recount the times where his friend told him to stay away from single moms? Unfortunately for him, there is nothing AMWD can do to help him. Since the laws in place hinder any opposition, the guy is forced to adhere to the rules. Adhere to the rules or pay the consequences which could mean actually jail time. We only hope here at AMWD that more stories like this reach the headlines and the attention for young males out there to beware of the women they date and also take heed of the effects of child support on other males.

I’ve been getting many e-mails from you people saying I hate women? Where the heck is this coming from? I think all of my blogs lately have been pro men, but nothing bad about women. Okay, maybe I did say a few things a while back about how marriage isn’t good for guys. It just isn’t and that’s just the truth. Statistics show that two out of every three marriages end in divorces. The divorces is usually proceeded by the female. Maybe I did say a few things a few blogs ago about the court system in the US (especially in California) being bias toward women and against men. But once again, it’s just the damn truth! You go ahead and give cases where the two divorcing couples walk out of the court room and the male counter part doesn’t get screwed over. It’s rare and it’s not fair! Maybe I did say a few things about how it usually isn’t a good idea for guys to date single mothers who are currently raising the child of a deadbeat dad. Did I go too far with that one? I mean, in most state like California, a man can get served child support papers for a child that isn’t his. And for what, just because he was nice enough to date a single mom? Please before you go ahead and call me a misogynist, please look at the facts, then judge me.

I’m dedicating a blog specifically to this person. Ms. Tripp is a single parent that was wronged by her ex husband who happens to be a millionaire. The man along with his new “lady friend” ran Mrs. Tripp out of business and left her with nothing. After winning a court case against her, he is no longer obligated to support his children, leaving her with the sole responsibility of raising children broke. This situation has left her mentally scarred. AMWD ran into her last week during a Keeping it real segment to get the scoop of the story. When the producers of the show called me up to discuss the story, I was shocked. AMWD is now going after this guy! This dude who owes multiple companies. AMWD wants to get his side of the story and expose him on TV! Things are definitely going to be heating up here in the ice cold streets of Chicago! I will keep everyone posted on developments!

Reggie Farley here again. Planning on meeting up with producers Idris Akins and Robert Mcewen of AMWD toward the end of this week. As I was on the phone with them, we we’re talking about one of the of their current cases. AMWD is following a fraternity case dealing with a woman (we’ll call her Brenda) who tracked down a man (we’ll call him Jack) who donated his sperm to her. She had the little girl and is now taking the girls biological father to court. Poor guy, thought he was doing community service. Brenda was in a relationship with another woman, the two of them wanted a child. When their relationship ended the women split up and Brenda was left with the baby. Brenda actually tracked down Jack and took take this guy for child support. She actually won the case! I was appalled by this. This case sparked another conversation about fraternity fraud and how ramped it is in the US. I’m at odds at with the thought process in this country as I realized that there really are no laws against women that lie about who the real father of their child is during a child support case. There are thousands of mothers out there that are making their man pay for a kid that doesn’t belong to them biologically. In California specifically, there seems to be trend to hit guys the hardest with this. They’re small men’s rights groups out there pushing for new laws to protect guys, but they’re making little progress. I end this blog with a question to any reader who is just so happens to pass by this article. Has there been any recent changes in the US concerning fraternity fraud? I don’t think guys should pay for kids that don’t belong to them and I don’t think the bias legal systems out there should push them to do so. Men are getting thrown into jail for this crap! I was listen to an excerpt from the Tom Leykis Show. The discussion was centered around rich women and relationships. The discussion brought up an interesting point of view. Rich women act just like guys. Halle Berry is one of the most successful “black female” actresses out there and has been quoted saying that marriage is useless. Now that’s fine, I actually agree with her. Many people nowadays get married for stupid reasons. Either it be to keep a woman in the house (Guys) or to get control of a mans bank account (Gals). Some people claim they only seek to make other family members happy by ascribing to their values and finding a life long mate. I think these are all stupid reasons. Marriage to me just seems so out of date. Marriage is at heart just a business agreement. It originated during a time where females were generally regarded as property and had no rights and were sold accordingly. Fast forward a few decades later and women basically rule the US now. We have more women going to college, more women as employers, more women running their own businesses and more women as single moms. Back in the day, women depended on entering a “fruitful” marriage. They looked forward to being protected and taken care of. But now, things are so different as far as social rules and customs. If a woman has entered into a certain income bracket, the idea of settling with a guy and “being his slave woman” is entertaining to any female. So what we’re seeing is a shift in gender power. Nowadays you’ll see rich females keeping multiple guys around like flavored lollipops for personal pleasure just to be discarded like lollipops when the females are finished with them. it’s the change in tides. Oprah just keeps that simp Stedman around for just the same thing…because she can. Mr. Farley is totally fine with all this. My problem arise when the masses look at rich guys who do this and call them women haters or greedy jerks while rich women are champion in our society and hailed as independent queens. The irony only lies in the fact that men as a whole can’t get a break. Men including myself don’t think this is fair. At least back in the day, the rich guys took care for the women. I don’t think this rings true for rich women. In the end, marriage is an out dated custom build to control the weaker half in the relationship. Rich women see no use for it because like rich guys, some of them are just happy being by their selves and being forever single with endless lollipops to choose from.

HAITI

Wow, am I glad to be back in the US. I recently took a trip over to Haiti. My best friend Roy was caught in all of the mayhem and terror that has recently boiled over. He was cool until the aftershock destroyed the complex he was living in. I had to pick him up from Haiti so I could bring him here to Louisiana to stay with me. The whole process was hell of course. However, I did appreciate the US a lot more coming back home. While I was in the plane, I would think to myself and laugh at all the goof ball things I did in college. I was big on conspiracy theories and was anti-government everything! I remember the stupid hippie rallies I would attend during college advertising the vegan lifestyle and anti-animal cruelty. I remember the college papers I would write bashing America for all the problems we have in the world. Visiting another country has truly shown me that through out my entire life, I’ve had it very, very good. Seeing wandering children ALL over the place with no Father or Mother made me feel very naïve to how random and cruel life can actually be. Looking at these kids I thought to myself, “a decade from now where will this kid be”? Will this kid be alive? Will this kid have a loving family? Will this kid have kids of their own? More importantly, will this child have what I have now? I see why everyone in the US is either trying to adopt of smuggle children out of Haiti. They see what I see. They see children that deserve the same love and care that American kids get daily and take for granted. The same kids that whine about wanting Xboxes and Playstations. I learned a lot about how bad things could be. I also learned the value in visiting other places. So many America’s believe that America itself is the center of the universe and we are all that’s ends all. There are so many other possibilities and alternate routes and paths one can experience it’s mind boggling when you consider how large our world is. Visit another country once and a while, it will do you good!

Amway will be very pleased that the Irish and adopted Irish were out in full force – so much so that they are holding another seminar on March 7th 2010.

Paul Christophers was the main Amway guest speaker of the day but there were other local speakers that spoke about how they built and are building their business.

Overall is was a great success and one can definitely say the Amway business is alive and well in Ireland.

Findlays said in a statement to the Colombo Stock Exchange on Tuesday that AMW owners, Al Futtaim had informed the two other partners that it was pulling out. The statement said Findlays and JKH were now examining the feasibility of continuing with the project which involves re-development of land next to AMW on Union Place which stretches to Vauxhall Street in the capital.

I was watching some “America’s Most Wanted” tonight and saw a segment about a sleazeball from New York who swindles folks out of their retirement money with promises of big returns on substantial investments. Those stories have been quite common in the last couple of years, but they’re no less disgusting every time you hear them. Anyway, Walsh was going through his typical spiel about what the guy looks like, where he might living and some of the activities he enjoys. Then, Walsh told us about his screen name (MonkeyBoy) and had this unintentionally hilarious gem of a quote:

“MonkeyBoy? Really? More like CreepyCowardBoy,” Walsh said.

Fantastic. I immediately wanted to change my screen name to CreepyCowardBoy. I couldn’t stop laughing for a solid two minutes. The story was awful. The guy is the definition of a DB. But that quote, no matter who clever and hard Walsh was trying to sound, was ridiculous and painfully funny. How does this relate to sports? Well, there’s no direct correlation. But I can tell you that it took my mind off:

• Elon’s depressing throttling at the hands of Wake Forest tonight, 35-7. I really thought they’d keep it closer than that.
• The Mystics overtime loss to the Indiana Fever in Game 2 of a best-of-3 first-round playoff series. That’s right. I’m bringing you some WNBA. Deal with wit.
• The Capitals deficit to the Blackhawks in the third period of a preseason game. OK. So this outcome isn’t so depressing. It’s an exhibition and the Caps played mostly kids while Chicago dressed what amounts to a full professional lineup.

So yeah, this really has nothing to do with sports. I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to relay Walsh’s fantastically funny quote.
