Kompliant Karo in New In Chess In the 2009#7 issue of New in Chess, Nigel Short presents a Caro-Kann

Kompliant Karo in New In Chess

In the 2009#7 issue of New in Chess, Nigel Short presents a Caro-Kann sideline that I tried as well in USCL action.

Caro-Kann Foxy Two Knights Foxy Deviation Line with 6. Be2!?

1. e4 c6 2. Nc3 d5 3. Nf3 Bg4 4. h3 Bxf3 5. Qxf3

Fischer used to play this just to get away from the tedious main lines. Can the bishop pair count? He certainly did not do well versus the likes of Keres (three times) in his early career (such as twice at the mammoth all play all four-times Bled Candidates ‘59) when he coupled this idea with g2-g3, fianchettoing. It was just too easy for black to play.

Fischer-Keres 0-1 Bled ‘59 Part One

Fischer-Keres 0-1 Bled ‘59 Part Two

Finally Fischer draws, Fischer-Keres 1/2, Bled ‘61

5…Nf6 6. Be2!?

No fianchetto! An interesting try.

Give up the center? Why?

The essence of this particular Caro deviation. White hopes for a miscue and in fact gets it right away!

6…dxe4 (?) 7. Nxe4 Nxe4 8. Qxe4.

In one game, Short-Gagunashvili (2564) Calcutta Open 2009, there followed 8….e6 9. O-O Nbd7 and now Short found the “move of Frolov” (from 1990): 10. b4! with a significant edge. In Merida 2001, Short had played 10. d4? versus Vishy Anand and got nothing, but Short and Rybka are both correctly enthused by 10. b4! – a nice move.

In the main game annotated in his article, Erwin L’Ami at the London Staunton Memorial 2009 played 8…Qd5 9. Qg4 Nd7 10. O-O Nf6 11. Qa4 Qe4 12. Qxe4 Nxe4 13. Re1 and black had not equalized.

So far so good, right? However there is a problem. Black’s 5h and 6th move combination is rather obviously not very good. The essence is that there is no reason to rush to give up the center; doing so makes the two bishops count more (especially in the “Frolov Improvement Line” mentioned above).

I run into an Improvement

Try instead the move order from MG (ARZ) – L. Kaufman (BAL), USCL 2009,

1.e4 c6 2.Nc3 d5 3.Nf3 Bg4 4.h3 Bxf3 5.Qxf3 e6! 6.Be2 Nf6!

Ye Olde Bricke Walle

This move sequence for black on moves 5 and 6 is so obvious in hindsight.

Where does it come from? The games Fischer was tortured (see above links) vs Keres! Simply maintain the center with a rock solid game. White has nothing that I can see! So do I complain to Short, Short’s opponents for gilding this apparently attractive path, the NIC Editor for running the article without the improvement, or Larry Kaufman for being too prepared? Or am I missing some hidden improvement? To my mind, Kaufman’s moves look logical and what are my bishops doing? Larry assists with Rybka programming and development, maybe this improvement is just “oude kuch” (stale cake, as they say in NIC Dutch language) to him and I stepped in some NIC doo doo.

Arrghhhh.

See the USCL website for the rest of my crazy game. I tried an early pawn advance which didn’t work at all. The only thing I’ll say about that one is that black missed a nice knockout with 19…Nc5! with the very nasty idea of Nc5-b3, winning.

Astute readers will notice the problem: “NJ Receives Draw Odds.” Far too great an odds in a 4-person match (this is obvious, right?).
I have a better idea. Random Site must recognize my blog as the primary chess knowledge source in the known universe and place that accolade in an obnoxious scrolling LED style banner on their home page. Then I will make a link to my new friends and my deserved accolade. But the real take away lesson – when you have a bad position, just think to yourself “which game has lost his fan base ” and tell yourself it’s not yours.

Blancas: Vladimir Kramnik- 2772 (Rusia). Negras: V. Anand -2783- India.

Today Kramnik was able to win his game multiple times do to inaccurate play on both his and Ponomariov’s part. I am in shock that the same Kramnik that missed 19.Qxh7+ played such a precise endgame. Thanks to Ponomariov, Kramnik was able to pull ahead of Anand and is now in first place all by himself.

Blancas: Vladimir Kramnik- 2772 (Rusia). Negras: V. Anand -2783- India.

Vande Mataram from Bankim Chandra Chattopadyaya’s “Anand Mutt” is India’s na

Vande Mataram from Bankim Chandra Chattopadyaya’s “Anand Mutt” is India’s national song.

The Song sung by Lata Mangeshkar (Music Director Hemant Kumar Mukhopadyaya) is captured here:

“Vande Mataram” was the Mantra, reciting which numerous Indians from Punjab to Tamilnadu braved death and fought the British occupation. Composed in simple Sanskrit, this is a national song of India and any day most nationalist Indians rate this song above “Jana Gana Mana”, a song penned by Tagore welcoming British King George as “Bharata Bhagya Vidhaata-Arbitrator of India’s Destiny”.

The Islamist veto and the nehruvian appeasement of islamism prevented “Vande Matharam” from becoming the National Anthem of India. And in a remarkable parody of History, Indians have a song, sung first welcoming a foreign dignitary, as the national anthem. nehru as the first prime minister of India did enormous damage to the soul of India. nehru’s foot prints can be seen in most of India’s social, economic, defence and foreign affairs problems.

One can not help noticing the superiority of this composition of “Vande Mataram”, the complete one, to the subsequent subversion efforts (subverted islamised one) by the likes of Slumdog A R Rehman, which in comparison to the original version appear trite. Later compositions on account of composer’s poor knowledge of Sanskrit and Indian culture could never reproduce the spirit and magic of Bankimda’s immortal work.

Why Islamists oppose the song?

Yesterday Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind resolution endorsed Deoband, Dar-ul-Uloom’s fatwa against singing Vande Mataram, India’s national song.

Central reason of muslim hostility to the song is islamist opposition to blend with natives, islamist hatred of native Indian traditons.

One may notice that islamists dont seem to have qualms at all on Jana Gana Mana, where English Emperor George V is addressed as Bharata Bhagya Vidata (Arbitrator of India’s destiny). So the issue is as much political as it is an assertion of islamist exclusivity.

One need not blame Maulana Madani, Jamaat leader, who is straight with his position unlike the sickular crowd. Madani referred explicitly to Indian muslims following mohummad’s Hudaibiya precedent. (islam’s founder mohommad led a strategic retreat in Mecca without integrating with native Quresh, who were stronger, and waited for an appropriate moment to strike for islam and extinguish native Arab beliefs). Sickularism in India is a tool for islamists to persist with Hudabiya type strategy.

Those who eulogise so called muslim moderates like Syed Ahmed Khan, Maulana Mohummad Ali, and Jamaat as a moderate organizations are guilty of deliberate deceit.

Above assertion holds as Syed ahmed khan indeed peddled deceit – asserting that he belonged to two equal circles – one Indian, one islamic, and then collaborated with the British for waxing of one (islam) and waning the second (native indian); just as muslims today collaborate with sickular/communist deceits.

Jamaat, Maulana Maududi and others similarly opposed partition not because of nationalist credentials, as Congress I (islami-isai) deceits would have one believe, but because of the concern that division of India, would slow down the wider islamist millennium old project to take over India, cut down native beliefs/traditions.

What should be done?

Unfortunately there are no easy solutions.

It is quite clear that coercive dogmatic islamist undermining of national unity can be faced only by coercive efforts by the state. Sarcozy was left with no option but to ban burqa in the interest of French society, its native tradition, their well being.

In India, articles 25-30 which have been used to empower totalitarian xianity/islam have to go. In India, we have a situation wherein all the rights, privileges and prerogatives belong to the minorities and the native Indians are left holding the duties, responsibilities and obligations. Natives as we know in India cant set up education institutions to propagate their values/heritage. And native places of worship alone get regulated by the hostile government, their resources abused/looted. This perverse situation does not exist anywhere else in the world.

Conclusion:

Failure to address islamist vote bank politics, encouraged and nurtured by congress I (islami-isai), communist boot leggers will have enormous costs for India, its unity and in specific for followers of native Indian faiths – Hindus, Jains, Sikhs, Buddhists.

Tailpiece 1:

Some Tagorists are in a state of denial that Tagore did not eulogise George V thru Jana Gana Mana. Evidence is too strong on the context of Jana Gana Mana creation as eulogy to King George; and its timing – it was first publically sung welcoming british emperor; media carried reports to that effect (see next para); Tagore as long as he lived, never publically denied these reports show the correct position. ZIM believes that Tagore’s greatness as a poet is in no way diminished by the evidence that Jana Gana Mana was created by him as a eulogy to King George. Those were perceived by many as the halcyon days of the Raj. Another give away is that in native Indian tradition, Nation is looked at as a mother that nurtures. Tagore himself in Amar Sonar Bangla, refers to Bengal as Nurturing Mother.

(-Statesman, Dec.28, 1911)’Jana Gana Mana’ was composed and Sung on December 1911, precisely at the time of the Coronation Durbar of George V, and Statesman of those days called it a paean in praise of “the overlord of India’s destiny”. “The Bengali poet Babu Rabindranath Tagore, British Indian subject, sang a song composed by him specially to welcome the Emperor.”)

I saw this series on 411movies. The columnist was listing the best and worst Hollywood movies he had

I saw this series on 411movies. The columnist was listing the best and worst Hollywood movies he had seen one letter at a time. After being sufficiently inspired by the column (like most of our movies get inspired by Hollywood), i decided to make my own list for each letter. (Apart from X, no hindi movies start with X).

Some rules:

1. This list is completely subjective, you may disagree ardently with any of my choices, that is your right.

2. I have only included movies i have seen (which is a lot), so i am not claiming that this is a be all and end all. Also, i do watch a lot of movies, so some movies mentioned can come about as obscure.

3. All opinions expressed are mine alone.

4. A huge load of thanks to Subodh Kapoor who helped me identify even worse movies every time i thought i had already reached the worst one.

5. If ever you get the idea to go and watch the movies i have mentioned as my worst, please don’t.

So with that out-of-the-way, here we go with the first installment, movies from A to D:

A

Worst movie:

The floodgates basically opened with this letter, there were so many movies deserving of being named worst of the letter. They included recent movies like “Aloo Chaat” “Aabra ka daabra – the school of magic” which was an extended ad for Parle-G and Camlin etc. etc. to the Amitabh superhero “Ajooba” or even the godawful movie “Army” to Govinda’s completely crass comedy in “Aunty No.1″. But, after a deliberation due to the embarrassment of riches to choose from, i finally arrived at the worst movie i have seen from the letter “A”.

ABHAY:

For those of you who don’t remember this movie, consider yourself lucky. This is probably Kamal Hasan’s worst movie, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy’s worst music and a very good movie if you want to keep kids off drugs. The movie is basically one long extended acid trip sequence with the characters turning into anime and back to represent the villains mental health. The background music was an exercise in torture and the performances were non existent. A good choice for worst movie from A.

Best movie:

Some great choices i could have made here as well, from my favorite comedy “Andaz Apna Apna” to “Amar Prem” to “Amar Akbar Anthony” and even more recently “Aamir”. In the end, i decided to give this to an all time great movie:

ANAND:

“Zindagi badi honi chahiye, lambi nahin” – The simple sentence on which Anand lives his life. This is a masterclass in filmmaking, where everything clicks. The direction, the acting, the dialogues and the music. “Kahin door jab din dhal jaaye” is still crooned regularly. This is also a rightfully deserving of the spot.

B

Worst movie: Again a good collection to choose from, there was Kaizad Gustad’s “Boom”, the Indian version of Heartbreakers “Bachke Rehna Re Baba”. And the “winner” is:

BUDDHA MAR GAYA:

As a public service announcement, i have to tell you guys to stay as far away from this movie. I mean it, even out of sheer morbid curiosity, don’t ever consider renting the DVD out. I saw this movie through the movieserver in college, so the only thing i lost was an hour or so of my life and my self-respect. Once again, i repeat, stay away. What were such fine actors like Anupam Kher, Paresh Rawal and Om Puri (who plays a gay sadhu, seriously!!!) thinking when they signed on for this.

Best Movie:

Again, plenty of choices, from “Bheja Fry” to “Bawarchi” to “Bombay to Goa”. I finally had to give this to,

BORDER:

Probably the finest war movie made in the past 20 years. The casting was perfect, the jingoism was kept in control and the climax is perfectly shot. I am sure most of you will disagree with this choice, but i stand by it. This was a really good movie and deserves this spot.

C

Worst Movie: Well, C seems to be a pretty strong letter to start a movie name with. There are very few outright Bad movies, but bad movies can still be found, just not as many as for A or B. The worst movie from C is

CASH:

With “Dus” becoming a hit thanks to Style and little to no substance, the next logical move was to make a movie with complete style and absolutely no story or anything even resembling a story. Cash was a wasted opportunity to make a good thriller and instead ends up being the worst movie from C.

Best Movie:First, let me acknowledge some of the fine movies which did not make it to Best movie from C: “Chak De India”, “Coolie”, “Coolie No.1″ (back from when David Dhawan and Govinda made good movies), “Chala Murari Hero Banne”, “Chandni”, “Criminal”, “Company”.

But, one movie stood head and shoulders above all others, this is one of my all time favorites, its DVD earns a pride of place in my collection and it is an all round entertainer

CHUPKE CHUPKE: This, my friends, is a true classic. Still as entertaining with repeat watches as it was on the first watch. Dharmendra’s best performance as a lover boy. Brilliant comic sequences, the Karela-Corrola sequence still has me in splits each time with Amitabh pretending to be a Botany professor. Seek out the DVD and buy it, this movie is worth it.

D

Worst Movie:

D is another strong selection. Honorable mention “Drona”. The Winner is

DESHDROHI:

This movie wishes it was a “Jaani Dushman” or a “Gunda” (to be clear, you will not see either of those movies on this list). This movie could have been a cult classic, but the movie goes way beyond being bad into transcendental territory. This is still a one time watch, but the number of loopholes, logical gaps, bad bad cues by the actors and a script which was probably written in a hurry make it a chore to sit through. There are moments of unintentional humour like when Gracy Singh makes her entry in Dhoom style, but the movie cannot rise beyond its flaws to become a cult.

Best Movie:

D was an embarrassment of riches, if i did not have my list frozen before writing this, any of the honorable mentions could have easily made it as the best movie: “Daag” “Damini” “Disco Dancer” “Don” “Do Aankhen Barah Haath” “Do Bigha Zameen” “Devdas” “Dev D” “Dosti” and many more. But, on my list, for the letter D, there can only be one best movie:

DILWALE DULHANIYA LE JAAYENGE:

The love story of Raj and Simran, a trendsetting movie in more ways than one, and the movie which firmly established SRK, Kajol and YRF in the industry. This movie has it all, and is my best movie of the letter D.

That’s it for this installment, next time we will go from E to H.

Until Next Time,

K.C.G

Lord Sesha breathed Life into my child!

“The Lord has spoken to me and I’m in ecstasy!!”

– Harsha

My Namaskaarams to all!

Glory be to Avathar Seshadri, – my Lord! My saviour!

Harsha’s experiences with the Divine Lord Sesha!

For a child who was, most of the time, silent, aloof, emotionless, and who was living the life of a recluse; – to be transformed into a cheerful little boy, wishing to participate in the world around him, and enjoy well, all the little pleasures of childhood, is no ordinary happenning! No human hand could perform such a miracle! It had to be Divine intervention!

Lord Sesha breathed life into our child! And, or child is blooming, under the utmost care of His Unparallelled Divine Master!

On this note, I would like to narrate how Sesha Brammam, the Compassionate Lord, has lent us a new lease of life!

About Harsha:

My son Harsha, now 4 ½ years old, was diagnosed with “Mild Autism”, in November, 2007, when he was 2 years and 7 months.

What his condition meant was, – He did not who or what we were to him, he could not look at any of us in the eye; (he avoided eye-contact), he did not have any language, nor any expression on his face, and could never express through words or actions or gestures, what he felt or wanted. He could not talk in any meaningful way. His disability resulted in pent-up frustration, all of which horrifyingly showed up as – self injury, knocking down things, throwing objects in sight, frequent tantrums, bouts of wailing. He was so restless and disoriented, that he was unable to sit at anything for more than a few seconds. He lost much of his sleep. He had sensory integration dysfunction, because of which he was unable to sleep well, unable to be bathed or brushed, hated being touched, was unable to travel, and unable to consume food (he survived on a few bottles of milk everyday, and absolutely nothing else, for a period of 1 ½ years). He had paranoias and fears and obsessions and fixations, that any of us were unable to penetrate! He never could look at another child, leave alone playing with him. The skill of socializing, which was absolutely nil, created a deep vaccuum in his life. All he did all day, was to look, watch and observe the wheels of vehicles from the balcony of our apartment! Nothing that we talked, or played, or tried with him, seemed to give us a gateway into his world! He lived in his own world, totally isolated, and so unreachably far away from us…

That was a devastating revelation to us, and it was endless misery and despair for us, watching our child cruelly suffer. He then started on language and behavioural therapy, occupational and play therapy, in addition to which, each of us in the family, tried our own ways to get him engaged in us, and with us…After a few months of his therapy sessions, his therapists left, and we took it upon ourselves to be his therapists. Through all our ordeals, and with little hope at Harsha’s slow progress, for about a year or so,…we kept praying…

Spiritual Solace:

We visited a number of temples, performed homams, and prayed fervently to each deity, to relieve our son of his sufferings…

Our prayers did not go unheard, and all the Gods we sought, had an immeasurably, infinite, omnipotent gift to grant us – the gift of a Guru! – the gift of Avathar Shri Seshadri Swamigal!

Our first Darshan of Avathar Sri Seshadri Swamigal and Sathguru Sri Rajalinga Swamigal:

AVATHAR SESHADRI SWAMIGAL had been a Gift of the Gods, to us!

It was in the month of November 2008, when I first heard about Avathar Sri Seshadri Swamigal, and Sathguru Sri Rajalinga Swamigal, through a relative.Very soon, in the same month, we made a trip to Thiruvannamalai, and visited Sathguru Sri Rajalinga Swamigal’s home – the shrine where the Avathar resides!

Stepping into His Shrine, marked the end of all our misery..

The Avathar and the Sathguru, graced us with Their “Sparsha Deekshai” and asked us not to worry about our son. Swamigal gave us ‘Vibhuthi’, some photos of the Mahaan, and elaborated us on the Glory of Lord Sesha!

We soon returned to Bangalore feeling a cheer that had never been in our lives before!

Back home, empowered:

Back home, we started to chant Mahaan’s moola manthra, parallelly craving to know more about the Lord who had stepped into our lives, eager to shower His Grace!

Very soon, even quicker than us, Harsha seemed to be more and more attracted to the Maha manthram, – he slowly started chanting the manthra himself, (getting better each time!) It was not long before he insisted that we play the chant on the CD, or chant it for him. He was drawn to the photos of Mahaan, and started to get drawn to Him, more and more! He started to mimic the styles of Mahaan’s seated postures!

Within a week after we returned from Thiruvannamalai, Harsha showed a sudden spurt of progress in his appetite. Soon, he started to even look at us! Those were the first few times, our son actually saw our faces! His vocabulary started picking up, and we were getting better reponses from him!

We all felt empowered, and had strong hopes about Harsha, and most of all, our morale soared higher and higher, each time we chanted the Mahaan’s manthra.

The first Divine visitation happened one night, (within a month or so, after our trip), when we were chanting the Moola manthra to our son, at his bedside. There was an overpowering fragrance of Chandhanam (Sandal), in the room. Soon there was also a scent of Panneer (Rose-water), and the Sampangi flowers. The Gods had come to visit us, and we could not be more overjoyed and overwhelmed!!

By the Grace of His Holiness, Avathar SeshadriNatha, we also discovered a new kind of therapy (a home-based one, effected by parents), and through which, Harsha’s progress was a little quicker than before.

As days passed, there were more nd more kinds of fragrances at home – camphor, sandal, jasmine, thulasi, ghee, milk paayasam, sweet pongal, paanagam, and strawberries! Those were overwhelming moments for us, and we would not know how to pray well enough, to Our Lord!

The Divine Healing – Subsequent visits to the Lord, and more miracles each time:

After every subsequent visit to the sacred shrine of the Mahaan and Lord Arunachala, we noticed that there were miracles happening in Harsha’s life.

Harsha, who had never even sat on a cycle (because of his problems and fears), ever since he was born, suddenly started riding another child’s cycle (in the park), one fine evening! To the family’s amazement, Harsha was so enamoured at the prospect of cycling, that his craze led him to master it with full speed, in a matte rof 2 days! This was exactly one day after he received his second “Sparsha Deekshai”! Sesha banished his fears, and gave him courage and confidence!

Very soon, he also got rid of his other fears, and was more daring, and willing to participate in physical activities.

After his third “Sparsha Deekshai”, his language burst forth, and his speech was getting more coherent! He showed an interest in going out to parks, and other places. He started to come out of his shell, and started to observe other people, and sthe world around him. He started to enjoy his books and toys, and soon enough, started appreciating, nature, arts and music!

Harsha today:

Today, as I write about Harsha, on the 22nd. Of October, 2009, (less than a year, of being graced by the Avathar Seshadri Swamigal, and Sathguru Shri Rajalinga Swamigal), we are overjoyed to state that Harsha is a happy boy, who is in a mainstream junior school (with a special educator). He is able to verbalize his needs better, and his tantrums have disappeared., He likes to go out and play. He has come a long way from his condition – his face lights up when we receive him from schoool, he delights on going for outings (Thiruvannamalai is his favourite destination!), on receiving little surprises, enjoys going to school, playing with animals, etc…His progress has been remarkable, and it is solely SeshaNatha, the Mahaan of Mahaans, who has been his therapist, friend, doctor, caretaker, all through…

Could we ever thank Him enough?

Swamigals’ messges/instructions concerning Harsha:

Swamigal remarked, “How could Santosh’s son ‘Harsha’, remain devoid of happpiness?” We could call him “Anand!”, to regain the happiness! Whenever we pray to the Mahaan, we refer to Harsha as ‘Anand’.

When we had plans for buying a new car, Swamigal recommended buying an ALTO car for Harsha. This, he said, would make Harsha happy, and prove beneficial to him! Very surprisingly, at the car showroom, Harsha refused to look at any other car, except the ALTO. He said it was his favourite car! So we did buy a new ALTo for him, and Harsha enjoys it a lot!

There have been other instructions from the Mahaan, and from Sathguru Rajalinga Swamigal, about Harsha’s health. Lord Sesha had recommended breathing excercises to calm Harsha down. In addition, Mahaan has said that the best therapy for him was outdoor activity, and the company of other children. Accordingly, we enrolled him in a regular mainstream playgroup of children, and he has improved significantly, over the past few months! He now enjoys the park a lot, and cycling too!

Mahaan had also advised Harsha to have butter and dry-fruits, to improve his health, which we follow everyday.

Reassuring incidents that have instilled our faith in the Supreme Lord Sesha

Once when I took Harsha for a camping trip with a group children, Harsha had some behavioural problems. I prayed for the other children and adults in the group to be more tolerant of Harsha’s condition. As I was praying in the hotel room, I was soon enveloped with the very comforting presence of the Benevolent Mahaan, through His floral fragrance! When I closed my eyes, trying to pray harder, I saw the sign of the cross, shining and lit up! I did not understand the significance of it that evening.

The next morning, on the journey back home, we had to visit a residential school in the neighbouring locality. Our bus was to return that afternoon. However, due to heavy rains, we were stay put in the school for a few more hours. Harsha was tired and frenzied, and irritable. We were a large group, and there was no place for Harsha to find a quiet retreat. Suddenly one of the staff of the school offered Harsha, a the school dispensary room, to take rest, till the time we could leave. I took Harsha there, and the doctor welcomed Harsha with so much love. I introduced ourselves, and told herShe asked me to leave Harsha with her and asked me to rest awhile. She talked to Harsha, played with him, gave him snacks and milk, and spent nearly 5 hours with him. Harsha was extremely happy with her, and refused to leave. When it was time to leave, I thanked her profusely with all my heart for having showered so much love on Harsha, someone she met for the first time in her life!

She then said, “Harsha would very soon become alright! Mark my words!” She then said, she was a Christian doctor, and she said she would pray for Harsha every day! She said “Do not worry about Harsha. God would take care of him!”

I was mesmerised! To me, she was the personification of my dear SeshaNatha – the epitome of love and grace and compassion! I then understood the meaning of the shining cross, I saw, the previous evening! I had been blessed with the love of Christ, in the form of Mahaan!

Once, during the time when the swine-flu threat was at its peak, Harsha contracted a bout of fever, and his fever shot up so high (103-104), that he had to be hospitalized. Medication did not bring down the fever, and the doctors advised us to opt for an intravenous medication, (which meant he had to be admitted and kept under observation for 2 days at the hospital). Panic-stricken, we sought Swamigal’s help. Harsha wanted to listen to Mahan’s manthram on the phone. At the hospital, we all chanted the Mahan Moola manthra, applied Vibhuthi all over him, and gave Harsha, Swamigal’s photo to hold close to him.

In a matter of about a half hour or so, another doctor visited Harsha, and said that it was just a case of viral influenza, and that he was too young for the intravenous, and so he prescribed him some oral mediaction, instead. Harsha was discharged, in an hour’s time! There couldn’t have been a greater miracle than that!

Just the day previous to all this, we received a message from Swamigal – “Why worry about swine flu, when there is Divine Flow!” Miracle of Miracles! Sesha Mahaan had saved Harsha from the clutches of grave illness! Harsha’s fever dropped ina matter of hours and he was completely cured in a matter of a few days!

Just two days back, when Harsha awoke in the morning, he said “Seshadri Swamigal said, “Come Here!” he got up, hugged and kissed Seshadri Swamigal’s photo, and said He was his friend!

Divine Messages the Mahaan sent to Harsha

I received Guruji’s message, a few days back – “Harsha or Harsesha?” Guruji had said that Avathar Seshadri Swamigal had taken Harsha under his wing!

This was Avathar Seshadri Swamigal’s message to Harsha, through Guruji:

Dated : 17th. October, 2009, 7:57 a.m.

To harsha…

“Help me (through the website), to help you out of trouble. Best wishes.

- Mahan Sesha”

What better words can enrich a child’s life, or our lives…

Sesha Perumane! Unakku Anantha Koti Namskaaram!

I would like to say what Harsha feels about Lord Sesha, in Avathar Sesha’s words:
