With what seems like boundless energy, these ladies perform classic hits in vintage attire, yet their modern edge keeps things current, fresh, and exciting for younger audience members.

With each of them a performer at heart, it’s no wonder that they kick up their heels with the best of them … including a recent appearance at the Vietnam Homecoming at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

They’ve been interviewed by so many media outlets, including NPR and news stations across the nation.

If you ask Erinn, Serah, and Heidi why they perform as Letters From Home, they will tell you it’s all about honoring sacrifices. From current servicemen and women to veterans, they feel strongly that one of the best ways to lighten spirits, honor sacrifice, and renew memories is through the gift of song.

We were so honored when they chose us to be part of their experience as their official photographer for their marketing and headshot images. For Simply Southern Photography to be a part of something so magical, so honorable, and so fun – well, it’s just what we love about what we do.

From helping them plan their styled session to executing the photography vision they had for their marketing materials, we truly believe in their gift and their cause. It was so touching to watch as Erinn read a letter during the session that was written during a time of war by one of her family members. It was the first time she’d been able to read this piece of family history, and it resonated the true meaning behind the group’s name, Letters From Home.

We also visited the Veteran’s Memorial in downtown Mocksville and the ladies were so touched as they read the names of those lost.

It was a somber, but fitting end to the session that day as we discussed the honor of sacrifice. One of the veterans is a huge fan of the group, and he shared that they have brought back so many memories for him of a time when he was in the service. He is an amazing American hero, having brought home the Bronze Star Medal. I was honored to speak with him about his medal and his service, and one of the group’s members was even more honored – he allowed her to be pinned with his medal as a thank you for the joy that the Andrews Sisters Tribute Show has brought to him.

The history in his story and his hands were so interesting to me, and I had to photograph him holding the Bronze Star Medal proudly in his outstretched hand.

Thank you to all who have served and who currently serve our great country in the armed forces for your bravery, valor, and for sharing your stories with us through words and images.

The Andrews Sisters Tribute show recently released their first full-length album and hosted a CD release party at First in Flight Entertainment in Pfafftown.

These ladies sure know how to have fun – they are so spunky!

From head to toe, they are perfectly poised to entertain fans of all ages.

Rainbow Catering of Pfafftown delivered delicious treats, and a fan even made a cake in honor of the event!

These ladies have so much energy – and they’re so much fun to watch. From kids that just started taking their first steps to veterans, everyone was entertained.

And, yep, they even performed Chattanooga Choo Choo to the crowd’s delight!

They made one veteran’s day by singing him a sweet song – so much fun!
