A NBC anunciou semana passada o data de retorno da terceira temporada de ‘Chuck’. A season premiere irá ao ar no domingo, 10 de janeiro, a exibição normal da série se dará às segundas-feiras, a partir da semana seguinte, sempre às 20h.

Entre as participações especiais já confirmadas, temos os nomes de Angie Harmon, Brandon Routh, Kristin Kreuk, Armand Assante, Steve Austin, Robert Patrick e Vinnie Jones.

Luego de varios meses en el limbo, y una gran campaña de renovación, esta mañana la cadena NBC sorprendió a todos los fanáticos al anunciar que la tercera temporada de Chuck comenzará el próximo domingo 10 de Enero.

Como detalle interesante tenemos que destacar que la nueva temporada comenzará con un episodio especial de dos horas, y al dia siguiente se establecerá en su horario tradicional acompañando a Heroes en la noche de los lunes.

Como todos saben, esta temporada estará llena de invitados sorprendentes, incluyendo a Superman, Lana Lang, el Terminator T-1000 y muchos más, que irán apareciendo en distintos personajes con el paso de los episodios.

Hasta el momento han sido confirmadas las apariciones de Angie Harmon (Law & Order), Brandon Routh (Superman Returns), Robert Patrick (Terminator 2: Judgment Day), Kristin Kreuk (Smallville), Armand Assante (Judge Dredd) y Vinnie Jones (Snatch).

Chuck Bartowski (Zachary Levi) and the Buy More will be returning to NBC for a 2-hour episode on Sunday January 10, 2010 at 9pm. The show will then move to its regular time slot starting January 11.

NBC’s “Chuck” will have a slew of guest stars for this upcoming season. Angie Harmon (NBC’s “Law & Order”), who will play Sydney, an enemy operative; Brandon Routh (Superman Returns), who is set to play CIA Agent Daniel Shaw; Robert Patrick (Terminator 2: Judgment Day) will play Colonel Keller, a soldier and spy from Casey’s past; Kristin Kreuk (“Smallville”), who will portray Hannah — a potential love interest for Chuck; Armand Assante (Judge Dredd) as dictator Premier Goya, who is the target of an assassin; Steve Austin (“WWE Smackdown!”) will portray Hugo Panzer, who becomes entangled in Chuck’s first solo mission; and Vinnie Jones (Snatch) will play Carl Stromberg, an arms dealer.

In other “Chuck” casting news, Julia Ling who plays Anna has not been listed in the press release from NBC in a list of characters returning for season 3. All regular and secondary cast members will be back for season 3.

NBC also announced that there will be a 2-hour episode of “Heroes” that will air on January 4 at 8pm, then the show will move its it new time slot of 9pm starting January 11.

Reporting on celebrity fashion trends requires absolutely no knowledge of celebrities or designers. Or at least if you write for Yahoo! Shine, knowing how to spell the names of celebrities and designers is purely optional. In fact, knowing how to spell anything is purely optional. Case in point: Shine’s feature “The Thread.”

The writer doesn’t bother spelling Angie Harmon’s name correctly:

Also? Using that to refer to real human beings isn’t considered wrong, just “impolite.” Omitting any kind of punctuation around a movie title (like “Twilight”) isn’t impolite; it’s just wrong.

Again ignoring the journalistic convention of correct spelling, the writer hacks up Leighton Meester. (Or maybe I should say, the hack hacks it up):

The pronoun them has no visible antecedent and using who’s instead of whose is the kind of mistake you might expect from a fourth grader.

If you’ve read this far, you shouldn’t be surprised by a missing word and a misspelling of Claire’s:

I’m not the only one who cares about good writing, you know. I think the Olsen twins might care about how their name is spelled:

As for the funky characters that appear to be two hyphens? God knows what that is supposed to be, though a period or semicolon would be correct.

Is this a new trend in writing on Yahoo!? Or just an especially egregious example of a longstanding acceptance of horrible writing?

Venerable luxury shoemaker TOD’s has collaborated with fashion journalist Donatella Sartorio on a new coffee-table book that celebrates all things Italian, and advances the idea that the Italians have really good taste (let’s face it, they do). Italian Touch—which Vanity Fair praised as “a rich sampling of Italian life”—features photos of people of all ages who live la dolce vita, whether in Tuscany, Sicily, San Gimignano, or some other delicious Italian locale.

On Tuesday, TOD’s in Beverly Hills had a party for the limited-edition tome hosted by onetime Will & Grace star Debra Messing, and Roxanne shot bellisima portraits of the attendees. “Famed fashion photographer Roxanne Lowit took stylized black-and-white family portraits, which were quickly printed, cropped and handed out to guests,” reported The Los Angeles Times. October 22, 2009; the Rodeo Drive Walk Of Style Award Ceremony and some lovely ladies got dressed up for the event, although I must add for a “style” award show….i wasn’t too impressed besides Camila Belle…..who damn near always looks flawless.

Jenna Elfman, Angie Harmon, Camilla Belle, Debra Messing, and Demi Moore were all present and looking good, among myself…LOL  Grace Kelly, or better known as Princess Grace of Monaco and Jewelry line, Cartier, was honored that night.  I was just excited to cross the street from the show to the after party to get my free food and cocktail on.  Hey! Keeping it real! And I was happily surprised each attendee received a free Cartier gift bag! Lucky me. Enjoy the pics!

Nestled away in the quaint ocean-side town of Half Moon Bay you can find the home of P Cottontail…yes, look… right there in the historic Main Street shopping district!  Not a bunny…but a darling children’s boutique that will soon be celebrating its 25th anniversary as part of this unique community.  Half Moon Bay, founded in the 1840’s was the first settlement in San Mateo County California, around 30 miles south of San Francisco.  The beautiful locale, a stone’s throw from the Pacific Ocean boasts postcard perfect vistas that include whale watching, acres of flowers, 2 lighthouses, redwood preserves, wineries, golf courses, luxury hotels and charming inns and a historic Main Street with unique shops.  This is where we find Peter Cottontail’s ‘home’ – not situated next to Mr. McGregor’s garden, but rather in a vacation ‘destination’ for lucky residents and tourists alike.

Sandra Murphy took over P Cottontail & Co a few years ago, but had known of the unique children’s boutique for years and “Really wanted it!”  She loves seeing the little babies that come into the store grow up and says “They are like my own little family!”  When asked what was the key to her success the answer was simple, yet succinct, “Very, Very, Very hard work!”  Sandra remembers that a friend once told her “Remember the first word in Specialty Store is ‘Special’ – and I have always tried to remember that!”  The area locals love merchandise that reflects the community – especially the horse lovers and world class surfers that frequent the store.  A local customer commented:

Sandra’s customers have even included some celebrities that stay in the beautiful Ritz Carlton nearby – including Angie Harmon and Brad Pitt!  Of course she stocks up with appealing and distinctive items at this time of year in preparation for the scores of tourists that will soon arrive…as she gears up for Half Moon Bay’s well known Art and Pumpkin Festival! Sandra’s good friends and family all pitch in to help at P Cottontail for this amazing community event – so popular that it attracts tourists from all over!  She is stocked up with lots of Halloween costumes – ready for all the festivities.  They have a costume parade, and as Sandra says, “Pumpkin Everything!” – including the weigh-in for the biggest pumpkin, pumpkin carving, pumpkin muffins, cookies and pancakes and lots of fun!

Angie Harmon played host for a celebrity charity shoe auction kick off event in New York.

The opening event kicking off an online auction, was held to raise funds for the kid’s charity KaBOOM!

The auction features shoes signed by Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jenny McCarthy and Tori Spelling, among others.

Apparently, Fox & Friends producers forgot to do their research on guest Angie Harmon, former Law & Order star. Billed as merely an actress, Angie was booked for two segments to promote her charity celeb shoe auction for kids. The second part included a fashion segment entitled, “Age Appropriate?” F&F did not seem to realize that Angie was a fashion model who had won Seventeen’s cover-page contest at the age of fifteen and had subsequently appeared in Elle, Cosmopolitan, and Vogue. (Not to mention that the age of majority is eighteen!)

As the first segment concluded, F&F co-anchor Gretchen Carlson breathlessly promoted the upcoming one entitled “Age Appropriate? (with photos of Gossip Girl Blake Lively in her hot backless, thigh-high slit, and waist-low neckline red Versace Emmy dress),” asking, “Are young women in Hollywood like Blake Lively dressing too provocatively?” Angie, incredulously scoffed, “Oh, come on! She looks beautiful. Really? That’s beautiful. That’s not even provocative!”

When the second segment started, Angie briefly discussed non-profit KaBOOM!’s urban playground initiative with co-hosts Gretch, Brian Kilmeade, and Steve Doocy. Immediately thereafter, Gretch said, “Sounds like a fantastic cause. Let’s talk a little about fashion because we were showing that picture before we went to break of Blake Lively.” Angie joked, “She’s just godawful, isn’t she? Poor thing having to walk through life like that. She’s beautiful!”

Haltingly, Gretch replied, “Yeah, I’m not really sure. I guess.” Steve interjected, “The plunging neckline. She’s twenty-two.” Angie asked, “Is she twenty-two? Then she’s fine.” Less sure of herself than before, Gretch continued, “Dressed provocatively would be the short hemline.”

Angie declared, “She’s twenty-two….Her shoulders look fine. Is it low-cut and high-cut?” Interrupting her, Brian jested, “Do you think they [sic] should be wearing a coat?” Adamantly, Angie responded, “No! It’s LA…. No, I think she looks lovely. If this was [sic] my daughter, I would be fine with this. There! How’s that!”

And that was that.

NCIS Mark Harmon

Mark Harmon (born September 2, 1951) is an American actor who has been starring in U.S. television programs and films since the mid-1970s. Since 2003, Harmon has starred as Leroy Jethro Gibbs in the popular CBS series NCIS.

Harmon has spent much of his career portraying law enforcement and medical personnel. His first acting credits were from guest-starring on episodes of Adam-12 and Emergency! in mid-1975 (the Emergency! episode that Harmon starred in, “905-Wild”, centered on two L.A. County Animal

In 1993, he appeared in one episode in the unlikely role of a rodeo clown on the CBS comedy/western series Harts of the West, on which future NCIS actor Sean Murray was a series regular in the role of Zane Grey Hart.

Harmon appeared as Charlie Grace, a private eye series which lasted only one season on ABC. He returned to ensemble medical shows on the series Chicago Hope, in which he played Dr. Jack McNeil from 1996-2000.

Mark Harmon also starred in several stage productions in Los Angeles and Toronto. Los Angeles’ The Cast Theatre saw him perform as Bobby in Wrestlers as well as in The Wager. In the late eighties he was part of the cast of the Canadian premier of Key Exchange. Several productions of Love Letters provided him the opportunity to play alongside his wife Pam Dawber.

The Latisse Wishes campaign was borne out of the tradition of blowing on an eyelash to make a wish come true and leverages the excitement surrounding the availability of Allergan’s Latisse, the first and only science-based prescription treatment approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for hypotrichosis of the eyelashes (inadequate or not enough lashes) that is used to grow eyelashes, making them longer, fuller and darker.

“Every 40 minutes the Make-A-Wish Foundation grants a wish to a child with a life-threatening medical condition.
